    ✭・.・✫ eva was born into a hunter family. her mother, who came from a long line of female hunters, raised eva and her twin brother eric under the same beliefs. eva's father left the picture not too long after the twins were born, but it was understood that he didn't agree with the lifestyle, or putting himself or his children at risk, which is why he left. so, eva and eric were raised by their single, never staying in one place for too long while their mother took cases. eventually, however, hef mother suffered a major injury on one of her cases, which left her unable to walk properly. because of this, the family finally settled down in a small down in oregon.
when eva got older, she decided to secretly take on hunting, when she was supposed to be away at college. she met a small group of passing hunters and convinced them to let her join and teach her what they knew. she was gone for months before her mother discovered what she was doing. an awful fight ensued between the two of them and at the end, eva left home for good to take on hunting full time.
several years later, eva met sam and dean winchester by mere coincidence after accidentally taking the same case. she nearly gave up the case, but when she found out that her mother one of the last people to hear from john before his disappearance, she agreed to help them find him. they decided to work together to hunt the creature, a lone werewolf terrorizing a small town, and once the case was over, they would use eva's lead to locate their father's last whereabouts. however, at the peak of the hunt, eva was attacked by the werewolf they were hunting and bitten. she managed to kill the werewolf, but she left before either sam or dean could find out that she had been infected. she drove all the way home to her mother's house in oregon, but rather than tell her mother what had happened, she confided in her brother instead. they agreed to keep it a secret as long as they could by keeping eva locked up at the peaks of the lunar cycles. unfortunately, despite their wishful thinking, eva broke out one night and attacked her brother, leaving him with extensive injuries. she woke up from the ordeal with no memory of the attack, but found her brother bleeding, unresponsive, and believed him to be dead. she fled and "disappeared" for good from her family's life.

appearances:
    ✭・.・✫ season 1: eva first appears in the first as a hunter the winchesters meet in idaho on a case. her mother, a former hunter, is an old friend of john winchester, and eva tries to help them locate his last whereabouts while he three hunters work together to hunt a werewolf. eva is later attacked by said werewolf and manages to kill it, but not before she is bitten. she leaves before either of the winchesters find out she is infected.
