𝘀𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟵

MAEVE SLOAN WAS BACK IN SEATTLE, ALONG WITH DEAN AND SOFIA. THE THREE arrived this morning. ever since she arrived she spent her time helping lexie and mark with their wedding planning. lexie even asked the green eyed brunette to be one of her bridesmaid

but as the day went on, night had fallen and maeve was now with dean. the two were headed to a party their old high school friend, nova cruise was throwing. as the two arrived hand in hand, music was blasting loudly

"maeve fucking sloan!" the two heard a voice call out. maeve turned around at the voice and came eye to eye with nova "it's about damn time you come around" the bluish green eyed blonde comes over and immediately hugs maeve

dean grinned as he see's a huge smile on maeve's face "well well well, look what the cat dragged in" another voice speaks up. causing maeve to pull away from nova. she turns her head to see damian walker

"is olivia here?" maeve asked as she hugged the 6'2 man

"hi damian, how are you?" damian mocked in a high pitch voice, trying to sound like the green eyed brunette "oh i'm doing fine, thanks for asking maeve" dean lets out a small snicker

"shut up" maeve playfully rolled her eyes as she nudged him "wait, shouldn't you be on patrol or something, mr. officer?" she asked curiously

damian snickered "no, i'm off duty until i leave to los angeles. which is tomorrow by the way. so it's a good thing you came"

maeve's eyes widen "you're moving?!" she said in disbelief

damian nodded "i asked dean here to come with me, dom, letty, and the rest of the crew, but he didn't want to" he confessed as maeve looked to dean who grinned at her

"i can't leave my girl behind" dean admitted as maeve felt her heart skip a beat

"you're so whipped, brother" damian patted his shoulder

"says the one who's moving just to be with mia" dean nudged him as damian rolled his eyes

"wait, why are dom and the rest leaving?" maeve questioned as damian nodded

"things are getting to heated here. and dom thought it was best to leave" damian explains "you two should come" he suggested before excusing himself. nova also following behind him

maeve walked up to dean and wrapped her hands around his neck "baby, i don't want you to stay in seattle because of me. if you want to go with damian and the rest, you can. and you don't have to worry about leaving me behind, because i can always visit you" she assured

dean couldn't help but thank the angels above for sending him the most supportive and most amazing girlfriend "you know the best decision i ever made was asking you to that christmas dance" he grinned at memory

maeve couldn't help but think back to the seventh grade dance "god i was so nervous" she chuckles

"i know, i was too. especially since i had the most beautiful girl as my date" he grinned as he brushed a strand of her hair

maeve couldn't help but playfully roll her eyes "shut up" she chuckles softly

dean snickers before connecting their lips "i love you, sweetheart"

"i love you too, playboy" she grinned. dean couldn't help but grin into the kiss at the nickname

hours later during the party, dean had excused himself. according to him he was going to the restroom. but seeing as that was almost an hour ago, maeve became uneasy. she excused herself from nova, she began to wander around the house, she started at the backyard, she figured that damian had pulled him away, but there was no sign of him. as she walked back into the kitchen through the back door she bumped into nova's brother, grayson "oh my god, maeve?" he said in surprise to see the green eyed brunette here in seattle

"gray, hey!" maeve smiled as the two shared a hug. maeve making sure not to spill her red cup filled with beer on him

"god, it's been so long since i last seen you" he gushed

"i know!" maeve smiled "you're still with olivia right?" she asked curiously

grayson smiled "oh yeah, for sure" he stated proudly. grayson and olivia, who happens to be damian's twin sister got together after their high school graduation

"good, i'm glad. is she here?" maeve asked wanting to catch up with her dear friend

grayson shook his head "no, she's at home actually. she wasn't feeling too well" he said

maeve furrowed her brows "oh no, is everything okay?" she asked

a smile tugged on his lips "y-yeah. um, she- she's pregnant, actually" he revealed

a huge smile tugged on maeve's lips, as her eyes immediately brightened "oh my goodness! gray, that's amazing! congratulations" she exclaimed in pure joy

grayson chuckles softly "thanks mae" he grinned as the two shared a hug "just don't tell anyone yet"

"i promise" she squealed

grayson smiled before speaking up "did you come with dean?" he asked curiously

maeve nodded "y-yeah. have you seen him by any chance?" she asks remember that she was trying to find the blue eyed blond

grayson shook his head "no, but i'm really glad you two are back together. i always knew you two were meant to be" he admitted with a grin

maeve smiled "thanks gray"

he nodded "well, i'll let you go find him. it was really good to see you maeve" he smiled before hugging the girl

"you too" she admitted before walking out into the living room

as she looked up at the stairs that lead upstairs, she came eye to eye with dean and the same blonde girl he cheated on her with. the two were down at the bottom steps. maeve began to walk towards them "i'm really glad we did that" the blonde spoke up, making maeve's heart sink

"me too" dean agreed with a head nod. as he had his back turned to where maeve was standing "do me a favor and just keep it between us?" he asked unknown that maeve was right behind him

the blonde on the other hand, seen maeve and smirked as she glanced back at dean "of course. i never kiss and tell" she flirtatiously says as she places a hand on dean's chest

"thank you" dean uttered

the blonde removed her hand and fought back a smirk "oops" she says sarcastically as she glanced at the green eyed brunette

dean furrowed his brows before turning around to come eye to eye with maeve sloan "you fucking asshole" the green eyed brunette muttered. she was quick to turn around with her drink in hand and head to the door 

"maeve" dean calls out before sighing and following after the girl

as maeve walked down the stairs of the house, she heard dean call out for her, but she kept walking "maeve, just hear me out!" he shouts before catching up and grabbing her left forearm

maeve being upset, she threw her red cup filled with beer at his shirt "what the fuck, maeve! why would you do that? what's wrong with you?!" dean hissed at the girl as the people who were outside in the front started to stare at the two

"what's it to you? go back to kissing that girl!" maeve argued, as she felt tears brim her eyes

dean seen the tears in her eyes "no, no, no, you don't get to cry! you literally just dumped your beer on me"

"and what did you do, huh?" maeve argues

"nothing! the fuck is wrong with you?!" dean yelled

"so you weren't just talking to that blonde girl? she just said she doesn't kiss and tell, you fucking liar!" she shouted back as she pushed his hand away

dean ran his hands through his hair "maeve, it's a figure of speech! you should know i would never fucking cheat on you!"

"but you did and it was with her!" maeve shouted as the tears rolled down her cheeks "you were fucking her in our apartment" she could help but shove him as tears ran down her cheeks

"you're never gonna let that go, huh?! what happened to a clean slate?" he shouted as he shook his head "the only reason i was talking to her was because i was trying to make her forgive me!"

"for what?!" maeve confusedly asked

"because i'm trying to be a better person for you! that's all i've ever wanted to fucking do in my life! tell me what i can do to make you believe me that i love you. tell me?!" dean argued, before he finally came to terms "you're never gonna trust me are you?"

"trust you? you think that i should trust you?" she asked with a scoff

"yes!" dean argued

"where has that ever gotten me?" maeve bit back as tears rolled down her cheeks "how many more times are you going to break my heart?!"

"you were never really gonna let that go, huh? you're just gonna keep bringing it up, every time" dean argues

"because i don't trust you!" maeve shouted

"you act like you're so fucking innocent. like you're little miss perfect. news flash, maeve, you aren't" he scoffed "i've done everything i possible can to make it up to you. but it's never gonna be enough, is it?" maeve didn't answer. he scoffed as he shook his head "fuck this...i'm not gonna be with someone who doesn't trust me. we're done, for good now. i'm done trying" he muttered before walking back into the party. leaving the green eyed brunette in tears as she began to walk away from the party and prepare to walk home

about an hour and a half later, she found herself outside someone apartment. she didn't want to go home, she didn't want to be alone. so, she went to the one person who was her shoulder to cry on

"coming!" the person exclaimed on the other side of the door. groaning slightly as it was 3 in the morning. as soon as they opened the door, they rubbed their eyes slightly before coming eye to eye with a heartbroken girl "maeve? w-what happened?" they immediately asked

maeve didn't waste a second, she walked in and hugged her person. she finally let out the tears she tried so hard to hold back "d-dean and i-i broke up for good now" she said through sobs

jackson avery sighs as he held her close, his heart breaking at the sound of her cries "sh, sh, sh" he whispers as he softly strokes her hair "i got you" he promised "everything's gonna be okay"
