MAEVE SLOAN FINALLY LANDED IN SEATTLE, AS SHE STEPPED OUT OF HER GATE, a huge smile tugged on her lips as she came eye to eye with her favorite pair of blue eyes. with a hand on her suitcase she basically ran to his arms. dean salvatore was quick to catch the green eyed brunette in his arms. maeve's legs wrapped around his toros, while her hands wrapped around his neck. chuckles left both their lips, smile tugged on each of their face

once maeve had her feet back on the ground, hands still around his neck, dean spoke up "hey, sweetheart" a smile on his face as his hands were wrapped around her waist

maeve bit her lip softly, her heart skipped a beat "i missed you" she grinned softly

with his right hand he pulled her closer, and with his left hand, he placed it on her jaw "oh yeah?" he grinned as she nodded "well i missed you more" he admitted

"oh yeah?" she mocked him

dean grinned "yeah" he chuckled as he leaned down to place a kiss on her temple

once dean salvatore dropped maeve off at her apartment, she dropped off her stuff before making her way to the one place she missed...her old home

she was knocking on mark sloan's apartment door "i'll get it!" a way too familiar voice called out from the other side of the door

maeve's heart swelled in excitement, once the door was opened, a gasped left the other person's lips "maeve!!" they shrieked

a huge smile was tugged on maeve's lips "sister!!" she said with pure joy as sofia ran into her arms

in the kitchen, mark sloan's eye widen at the sound of her youngest daughter calling out for his middle child. lexie grey's eyes had landed immediately on her fiancé's. a smile tugged on her lips as she watched him get up from the bar stool to go towards the door. his heart skipped a beat when he see's his two daughters hugging each other

she took a few steps closer to his. charlie gillespie's voice echoed in her head "you should talk with your dad. i do know that deep down inside, you miss him"

so without a second to spare, she wrapped her hands around mark and hugged him. mark who was a bit taken back, looked to his fiancé, who had a huge smile on her face, his eyes landed on his youngest, who held two thumbs up along with a huge smile

"hi dad, i've missed you" she admitted

"i've missed you more than you can imagine, kiddo" mark sloan admitted as well

lexie grey had decided to go over to her sister's house, meredith grey. along with her soon to be step daughter, sofia. she wanted to give the father daughter duo, a space to talk, seeing as she wishes for the two to reconstruct the inseparable bond they once had

the two were seated across from each other, maeve was sitting at one of the barstools at the island as mark was leaning against the sink "so, how's filming?" mark spoke up

maeve glanced up at her father "good" she stated simply as mark nodded slowly at her answer

"who picked you up from the airport?" he asked curiously, yet afraid of her answer

she was skeptical of answering the question, she knew he'd get mad "dean" she said as she fiddled with the ring on her finger. mark sloan slowly nodded "before you say anything, i want you to listen to me first" she spoke before he could. mark sloan glanced up at his daughter before nodding "i know that you're only trying to protect me, but i want you to know that what you did hurt me. and believe me, it hurts not speaking to the man i love most in the world, you, my father" she said as small tears gathered in her eyes "and as my father you're not supposed to hold me back or take my path for me, you're supposed to light the path with your love so that i can always find my own way" she admitted

mark sloan knew she was right, and everyday he hated himself for pushing his daughter away. he didn't intended for things to this route, all he could say was "you're right and i'm sorry for threatening not only dean, but also your relationship with him" he admitted with a sad look on his face "if-um, if you want to give dean another chance, i-i won't get in the way" he said truthfully "but i will tell you one thing, don't listen to everything he says...j-just pay more attention to his actions, okay?"

maeve sloan gave him a sad smile as she hopped out of the barstool and walked towards her father, as she stood in front of him, she gave him a smile "okay" and with that she hugged him. her heart jumping with pure happiness to finally have her father back. mark sloan's heart also jumping in pure happiness to have his daughter back. never again, would he do what he did once
