JUST A FEW DAYS AGO THE WHOLE CAST MOVED UP VANCOUVER. they continued their bootcamp training up in beautiful canada. sadly, today was the last day of bootcamp, before officially recording the soundtrack to julie and the phantoms

as the whole cast was sat around at the read through, maeve sat between jeremy and charlie. as jeremy was talking with owen who sat on the other side of him, charlie took this advantage and asked his daily question

"so, what's something that you've never been able to do well?" charlie asked the girl beside him

maeve grinned. this whole month of bootcamp charlie has asked her the simplest questions, just wanting to get to know her better. but this time she genuinely had to think about it. she thought back to every moment in her life

her smile faded slightly. she couldn't keep her mother in her life, she feels like she ruined her relationship with her person, she has blocked out any contact with her father, and she couldn't even keep the man she loved in her life

she sighs softly before speaking up "well, i've never been able to keep a stable relationship with anyone" she shrugs

charlie's eyes sadden, at the sad look on her face, he noticed how she tried to cover it up with a smiled shrug

before he could respond, kenny spoke up and announce that they were going to start the read through. maeve's phone buzzed from her back pocket, but seeing as they were going to start, she didn't bother checking it

after reading through the script and talking about their characters, they moved on dance warm up, dance workout, choreography, costume fitting, hair tests, music lessons, vocalizing, and now they were on their last step, which is working on band practice

madison, charlie, jeremy, and owen were all up on the mini stage that was held in the practice room. while maeve was standing beside kenny watching the four sing stand tall. kenny turned to glance at the smiling girl who was bumping her head slowly to the beat of the song, a smile tugged on his lips "hey, maeve can i talk to you for a second?" he spoke up

maeve removed her eyes from her co-stars and looked up to kenny "yeah, of course" she said as kenny pulled the two apart from the rest

"i have a proposition for you" he said with a smile, knowing that the girl would easily accept

"and what is that?" she questioned curiously

"so, you know how we were talking earlier about luke and luna's relationship in show, and how luna feels hurt whenever she see's luke be affectionate towards julie?" he says as the brunette nods "and then we also talked about how in a certain episode we see luna and alex have a heart to heart about luna's feelings. she eventually comes to a realization that she needs to let go of her relationship with luke and that she needs to move on" once again maeve nods as she remembers their talk "okay, here's the proposition...i want you, to write a song for your character" he said enthusiastically, a huge smile on his face

maeve's heart sinked and her eyes lightened up "o-oh my gosh are you serious!" she almost screamed but kenny hushed her slightly

"very serious, what do you say?" he asked with a raised brow

a huge smile tugged on her lips, as she scoffed "heck yes!" she said excitedly as she bounces on her feet and immediately wraps her hands around the legend

with an exciting smile, she placed her phone on the back of her pocket, expecting for dean not to respond so quickly, due to his shift at the hospital. seeing as kenny said to take a break, charlie stepped off the stage and was walking towards the brunette, but he seen her pull out her phone from her back pocket

he noticed that her smile tugged even more, and without a second of hesitation she answered the phone, and lifted it up to her ear "dean!" she grinned before she walked out of the room

imagining her serious look
"i promise" he spoke

"okay! so the executive producer
of the show just told me that i
can write a song for the show!"
she squealed excitement

back in seattle, dean's eyes
widen in shock "holy shit baby
that's fucking amazing!" he
spoke out with such a proud
tone. the two were so excited that
neither of them realized what
dean called maeve

back in the rehearsal room charlie had furrowed his brows, dean? who's dean? he thought to himself. he had walked over towards madison who was taking a sip of her water "hey mads" he spoke up as he took a seat on the side of the stage

madison glanced back at him "yeah?" she questioned curiously

"seeing as you and maeve have gotten closer this past month, do you by any chance know who dean is?" he questioned with a hopeful look

madison glanced over to him with a curious look "what's it to you?" she questioned

charlie sighs as he rolls his eyes "i-i just overheard her answering her phone, a-and she seemed really happy" he explained

"mhm" madison mutters, before she sighs "dean is maeve's ex boyfriend" she answers his question

charlie felt his heart tug in sadness, does this mean they're getting back together? he thought "d-do you know why they broke up?" he questioned

madison glanced over at him "out of respect for maeve, i can't. sorry charles" she said before patting his back, she was about to walk away but charlie spoke up once more

"do you know if they're getting back together?" he asked

madison turned around to face the sad boy, a part of her just knew that charlie had a small crush on the brunette. you'd be blind not to notice the loving look he throws at her while she's speaking, smiling, or even laughing. so these next words, she was going to speak out, made her heart tug in sadness "she hasn't said anything about that, but if you say she sounded happy whenever she picked up that call" she paused with a shrug "then maybe, just maybe they are" she said sadly

i was wondering if you all would rather have a
prequel for wonder! meaning, a book of maeve and
