๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐๐ง ๐ก๐๐ช ๐๐๐ฌ had fallen over Pandora, as the sun was just rising over the mountains, giving it a nice a rosy hue across the morning sky.
"I wish I been there," Kiri was expression her happiness to her younger brother, as the group of teens and Tuk had been told about what happened to Lo'ak, "The ocean blessed you with a gift brother."
(Y/N) smiled in agreement with her words, the girl in between the brothers like always as Neteyam had a gentle hand resting on her thigh.
"The Tulkun have not returned yet," Ao'nung lead off her words, the male leaning on a tree in the circle as he leans forward to them, "and no Tulkun is ever alone."
"This one was," Lo'ak tells him, looking at him and turns back to Tsireya who was next to Tuk, "this one had a missing finn, like a stump on the left side."
Tsireya's eyes went wide in realisation, her ears twitching a little as she faces him with a frown, "Payakan."
"Who's Payakan?" Kiri questions interested, brows furrowed as Rotxo acknowledges her statement.
"A young Tulkun who went rogue," He answers her, and glances around at the group, "He's outcast, alone. And he has a missing finn."
"They say he is a killer." Tsireya explains to the two next to her, which was (Y/N) and Lo'ak as they listen closely, and Lo'ak shakes his head at her claim, not believing his new friend would do such a thing.
"He killed Na'vi, and other Tulkun." Ao'nung states firmly, giving him a hard stare as he was still leant forward, standing up. "Not here, but far to the south."
"No, he's no killer." Lo'ak denies what he was saying, shaking his head once again, as he looks to (Y/N), trying to see her reaction, but all he got was a conflicted expression.
"Lo'ak, you are lucky to be alive." Tsireya says to the boy strongly, bringing his attention away from (Y/N).
"I'm telling you guys, he saved my life." Lo'ak tries to persuade them, as (Y/N) grabs onto his upper arm, and looks at her, seeing her small smile at him, "He's my friend."
Neteyam clicks his tongue at this, giving (Y/N)'s thigh a squeeze that he was holding, making her tense up as he stands up from his squatting, "My baby bro, the mighty warrior," He places his hands on Lo'ak's shoulders, his hips brushing (Y/N)'s back as he shakes his brothers shoulders, "who faced the killer Tulkun, and lived to tell about it."
Lo'ak growls under his breath at him, shoving his hands away as he backs off from his brother with a massive smirk.
"You guys aren't listening," Lo'ak stands up defeated, throwing his hands up as his face was upset.
(Y/N)'s shoulders drop at his words, ears folding back as she sighs heavily and wanted to go after the male walking away, but Neteyam kept a hand on her head to stop her. She believed Lo'ak, and would always believe in him also.
"No, no I'm listening!" Tuk calls to her older brother, frowning sadly, as they all watch the teenager leave their little circle with sighs of their own.
...
Now, most of the teens had split apart to do their own thing, but Tsireya and Rotxo lead a few of them through the clear waters of the oceans.
(Y/N) was on Sae, as they swam in the waters following close behind Tsireya. Neteyam was beside her, also on his ilu as Kiri and Tuk shared one, all following the oceanic Na'vi.
The six of them broke the waters surface, as they were under a massive rock that had a small gap for them to travel underneath. (Y/N) pushes her wet hair out of her face, the beads in her hair making clicking noises as she pats Sae's head gently.
"We are here." Tsireya told them with a bright smile, teeth showing more when the green and blue eyed Na'vi returned it from beside her.
What was seen almost stole (Y/N)'s breath away, as her eyes lightened up at the magnificent view. The Cove of the Ancestors, the sacred site of the Metkayina. There were many floating islands everywhere, as the mountains curved perfectly around to showcase the beautiful place. All of the things located there, had shrubbery and greenier growing on them.
"This is the Cove of the Ancestors, our most sacred place." Tsireya explains to them, as the blue Na'vi all take in the unique sight, much different to their one in the forest. "Eclipse is the best time of day to be here."
The sun was slowly going behind the moon, as a darker shade of light started to take over the area, and it caused (Y/N) to place a hand up, blocking the suns last light.
Neteyam glanced over at the stunned (Y/N), and felt his heart flutter as he watches how the sun's last light gave her a even more ethereal look. He felt his own lips turn upwards more, seeing her massive grin at the place.
He thought she looked so beautiful in that moment, even more than she already does.
...
With the eclipse started now, the darkness had taken over as the water now was illuminated and everything else became more alive.
In the middle of the cove, there was a glowing purple light down below, seeing a tree below the surface of the water. It was shaped differently, and placed differently to the one back in the forest, but the calmness, and connection was still felt by the blue Na'vi.
The group swim closer to it on their ilu's, as their dot patterns scattered all over them were now illuminated by the darkness.
"This is it, this is the spirit tree." Tsireya speaks to the group, as she motions to the glowing purple tree down below.
They all now slid off their ilu's, as they waited above for their riders and the teenager, plus Tuk were down below, swimming to where the glowing tree was.
Tsireya was leading the group, as she turns on her backside to motion for (Y/N) to connect her queue to the trees treads, as the two swim up close to it.
(Y/N) grins in acknowledgment, and she grabs her queue in one hand, the other gently touching the glowing tread as she goes to join them together in the middle. She straight away felt a sense of peace wash over her, heartbeat steady and calm as she looks up at the purple tree and slowly closes her eyes.
Within a matter of moments, the girl was back in the forest of Pandora, however it wasn't exactly what she wanted it to be like.
(Y/N)'s heterochromia eyes fly open, and she comes to face the Tree of Souls. She smiles with happiness seeing her home tree, hearing the familiar noises of the native animals calling in the forest, and spots the many Woodsprites dancing around her.
She goes to take a step forward, expecting to feel the soft and rough texture of the ground, but instead felt the coldness of flowing water underneath her feet. She pauses at this, utterly confused, and she only now realises that the ground was covered in crystal clear water.
"What..." (Y/N) mumbles to herself, eyebrows furrowed as she wonders why this was surrounding the glowing willow tree, and looks around for the cause of it.
Her searching comes to a stop when her eyes land on something stand in the water, a figure standing in the water right in front of the Tree of Souls.
She gulps nervously, knowing whatever this was, was what the Eywa wanted her to see and pursue. She knew she couldn't ignore that. The teen starts to walk through the low lying water, creating small splashes in her wake as she gets closer to the figure.
The figure at the willow tree turns around hearing her footsteps, and smiles warmly in greeting. The figure was a beautiful Na'vi woman with white flowing hair, that reached her lower back, eyes just like (Y/N)'s, purple stripes and many dots scattered across her body, all looking awfully similar to the teens.
(Y/N) gasps a little seeing the similarities between them, as she now ended up directly in front of the taller woman, and her eyes started tearing up, "Mother...?'"
The white haired Na'vi continues to smile warmly, and moves to join the teenager girl in the water, "I'm afraid not, sweet child," She raises one her hands, wiping away (Y/N)'s tears with her thumb, "I am not your mother."
"I don't understand," (Y/N) shakes her head, tears coming back as she was so sure this was her mother, and she points to the purple stripes on the woman's skin, "Why do we look so similar then?"
The older Na'vi chuckles softly a little bit, looking back at the Tree of Souls and then back to the lost girl, "I'm what your inner self wants me to be. I'm just a projection of what you truly want to have, and see." She grabs the girls forearms in hers, and gently squeezes, "But that does not mean I cannot help you."
(Y/N) releases a small, shaky breath at this, lips wobbly at little bit as she was no closer to finding out who her parents were. She looks at their arms together, seeing no differences between them and then trails up to the woman's kind eyes, who were patiently staring into her own, "I need to know why I'm so different, and who my parents were, please tell me that at least."
"I think half of your question is already in plain sight, dear one." The white haired Na'vi moves her eyes down at the water, then to the glowing Tree of Souls, and back to (Y/N)'s teary face with a firm expression, "You're different for a reason, a good different that you shouldn't be afraid to embrace."
(Y/N) bites her trembling bottom lip, sniffling a little as she looks around at the beautiful place she was currently in, and feels the warmth from the once cold water on her legs. She didn't understand what the older Na'vi was saying, but did get that she was maybe somehow connected to both land and sea, forest and water.
"I still don't understand anything about who I am.." She whispers under her breath, and squints her eyes shut momentarily before opening them up again, and begs through a cry, "Please, I just need to know who my parents were, or if they are still alive!"
The Na'vi woman smiles sadly at the despaired teen, brushing some of her black hair back with her free hand that wasn't squeezing (Y/N)'s forearm. She opens her mouth to say something, but suddenly was cut off by her making a choking noise, and many more after that.
(Y/N) grows panicked hearing, and seeing the older woman gripping her more tightly as she chokes, and the teen questions frantically, "What's wrongโ"
However she as well was cut off, when the ground around her started to shake like an earthquake had just hit them, and (Y/N) yelps as she stumble a bit over from the rumbling. The water started splashing everywhere, as the willow tree was flashing as it sensed the danger, all while all the Woodsprites went to disappear without a trace.
(Y/N)'s eyes grow wide with horror when a bright purple light took over the environment, and the white haired Na'vi was ripped away from (Y/N)'s hold from behind, making her cry out when she was pulled backwards also, "NO!"
Back in the real world underneath the water still, (Y/N)'s body was currently twitching and shaking about as she was experiencing a seizure. Her queue was attached still to the tread, making the purple glow flash fastly and bubbles appeared from out of her nose, as she was losing air.
The group noticed what was happening, and quickly acted as Neteyam's heart dropped seeing her like this, panic automatically eating away at his emotions.
Neteyam, Tsireya, and Kiri quickly swam to her, as the male detached her queue from the rapidly glowing tree, and it suddenly went dark when he did.
He grabbed her shaking body, with the help of the other two girls as (Y/N)'s dots were pulsing and glowing like a wave down her body in the darkness of the water.
However, it suddenly all stopped as her body went limp in the water and feeling this, Neteyam kicked and pushed up harder towards the surface, desperate to save his beloved.
They all broke the surface with breaths of air, as Sae was automatically in front of her riders body, clicking and making worried noises seeing her state.
"(Y/N)!" Tuk and Kiri exclaimed as they also see her limp state, eyes closed and her chest not moving, and their eyes water a little for their best friend.
Neteyam gently lifted (Y/N)'s body up onto Sae's back with a grunt, and he slides up behind her and cradles the girls body against his chest.
"What is wrong? What is it?" Tuk questions her brother with concern, not liking what was happening with the girl she looked up to.
"I think its a seizure." Neteyam grunts back his answer, pushing (Y/N)'s black hair out of her face gently, and went to pinch her nose, holding her chest up as he places his mouth over hers and blows air into it, hoping to get her lungs working again.
"Is she breathing?" Tsireya and Rotxo both asked with worry, the two treading water right beside Sae's back where the unconscious girl was.
Neteyam keeps up transferring air into her mouth, and he grows desperate when he doesn't see her responding, "Come on, sweetheart, come on." He begs, whispering low enough for her to hear, hands trembling a little as he goes to blow more air into her mouth, not wanting to lose her to this.
After a couple more of transferring air into her lungs, (Y/N) releases a breath of air, signally everyone that her her lungs her working again, but her eyes were still closed and head lolled to the side.
"Get her to the village!" Tsireya orders frantically, tapping Sae's back for her to go, as she calls the other ilu, "Hurry!"
Neteyam adjusted the girl in his arms, her head laying against his chest, as one of his arms were looped under one of her legs and he holds her securely, "It's gonna be okay love, I promise. I've gotcha." He breathes out, pressing his trembling lips to her forehead as he orders Sae to swim off fast.
...
In a few hours of the girls accident, a sky people helicopter came landing down onto the beach, right where the Sully family had first landed their Banshees.
Jake was directing the helicopter for safe landing, as the Metkayin clan gathered around the scene, curious and also frightened of what was happening.
Norm, in this Avatar jumped out of the landed aircraft and greets Jake in a one armed hug, as he goes to help grab the stuff needed from out of the helicopter.
Now, inside their Marui, (Y/N)'s body was laying on the ground unconscious, hooked up to wires from the machines the scientists brought in, as they examined her.
"There's no bleed, there's no fracture." Norm informs the few gathered, as he reads off the machine that had a image of (Y/N)'s brain on it, checking for any damage.
Jake was squatting beside the teenager, as Neteyam and Lo'ak were taking up the spots beside her head, on either side as they held each of her hands in theirs. Kiri and Tuk were near the back, hugging each other with worried faces for their best friend, all while Ney'tiri was pacing around the hut.
"The brain looks good." Max finishes off their analysis, holding up the machine he was holding to show Norm.
What they didn't know, was that Ronal was approaching the Marui with someone behind her carrying the stuff she needed to heal the younger girl. She turns around to the green Na'vi, and takes the basket full of objects in her own hands now.
Ney'tiri notices her walking in, and meets her halfway to greet her, as Ronal watches the Avatar and human work on (Y/N), "I see that I am not needed here."
"You are Tsahik." Ney'tiri hisses, venom dripping her words, as she grabs onto Ronal's arm before she went to leave full.
Ronal purses her lips at this, ears twitching a little as she glances back at the scientists, "Remove these things."
Ney'tiri spins on the humans, "Out! You have done nothing!" She shouts at the scientists, as Jake helps them gather all their stuff and leads them out away from the Marui.
With the scientists out of the pod, Ronal sits down beside (Y/N) as the brothers reluctantly stepped back from the girls side, their stomach in knots as they pray and hope for their beloved to awake again.
Ronal now performs a healing session, chanting words, poking and prodding (Y/N)'s stomach, and skin with a thin needle that had some type of special remedy on the tip.
"She said she could feel Eywa, feel and hear her heartbeat." Jake, who was outside was explaining to Norm what was occuring with the teen Na'vi.
"That's classic frontal lobe epilepsy." Norm explains to the male, interrupting him mid speech.
"Epilepsy?" Jake repeats the words through a question, eyes wide and big at the news. This was defiantly turning into a disaster bringing the girl here, and the male was starting to regret exposing her to this new environment, that was obviously making life harder for her.
"Plugging into the spirit tree was some sort of a trigger." Norm continues to talk to him, staring at him firmly, "You defiantly can't let her do that again."
"What..?" Jake breathes out, ears flat against his head as he frowns sadly, "Ever?"
"Jake," Max sighs understandable, as he gains the Na'vis attention, "If she seizures underwater again, it could kill her."
Inside the pod, many hours have gone by and Ronal was still doing her healing session on the girl. The brothers were allowed by her side again, as they sat by her head on either side, focusing on her for any sign of waking up.
Under (Y/N)'s eyelids, her eyes were slowly moving around a little bit, scrunching just as much as the brothers, Tuk and Kiri all gasp seeing it, "(Y/N)!"
The girls green and blue eyes fluttered open, blinking sluggishly as she gets use to being awake.
Ronal sighs in relief after all her work had paid off, and she sits back away from the group so they could comfort her.
(Y/N)'s eyes wonder a little bit around the room, tilting her head a little bit as she met the teary eyed ones of the brothers. Her lips start to wobble remembering what happened, and reaches out for their hands, making the two grab onto them tightly.
"You're okay, you're alright." Neteyam softly cooes by her ear, head leaning down to talk to her as his braids frame around her face, and goes to lean back as he keeps his tears at bay.
"You're safe now, (Y/N)." Lo'ak breathes out, voice wavery a bit as he thought he would lose her forever and holds her hand against his cheek, pressing his lips onto her palm.
She starts to sob softly at their words, small cries leaving her lips as Ney'tiri places a hand on her cheek, crying herself at the relief of (Y/N) being alright, "My sweet girl, you're okay now."
The rest of the Sully family joined the crying girl, all comforting her through this upsetting, but reliving time.
