𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗢𝗖𝗘𝗔𝗡 near the sky people's main ship, Tuk and Tsireya spotted Kiri yelling out, as an Ikran grabbed her by its claws, and brought her back onto the ship's deck.

Kiri was let go by the Ikran's claws, as she dropped down onto the ground with a groan, her ankle rolling from the high drop.

She tried to get up and run away, but the same Ikran forced her down by it's claw, and she fought back against it with a yell.

The Avatar on the Ikran hopped down off his Ikran, and grabbed her arms, forcing her up from the floor, "Let's go buttercup, get up."

"I'm not your buttercup, you perv." Kiri hissed back, shoving herself back to fight the hold, as the Avatar leds her inside the ship more, and towards a yellow railing.

She was forced down roughly, as she yells and looks hopelessly at her hands, as they were getting chained onto the railing by the Avatar.

As he finished doing this, he went away somewhere while Kiri heaved a sigh, ears flickering.

...

Near the edge of the ship, Tsireya's head popped out from the water, looking out to spot if any soldiers were close as Tuk appears next to her.

Tuk pulls herself out of the water, getting up onto the ship's floor as Tsireya exclaims her protests, but follows along close to the younger girl.

The two of them keep low to the floor, passing by some of the Avatars and soldiers, as they successfully sneak by them all, and arrived where Kiri was being held hostage.

"Kiri!" Tuk whispered yelled to her older sister, as she quickly made her way over to her with Tsireya.

"Tuk! What are you doing here?" Kiri exclaims in a whisper to her younger sister, looking up and seeing them coming to her.

Tsireya hops over the yellow railing, onto the other side as Tuk doesn't answer her older sister, while the two of them quickly try and break the cuffs around Kiri's hands.

However, with them all distracted, they didn't notice an angry Quaritch coming up behind them with a scowl displayed on his face.

He went behind them, and roughly grabbed Tuk who screamed, and Tsireya tried to desperately grab Tuk back with cries, but the Avatar just shoved her into the water below connected to the ocean.

Tuk fought against Quaritch, as Kiri yells threats at them for attacking her younger sister, but another Avatar comes up to them, and takes Tuk as she gets restrained against the railing beside her sister, "I got her."

Quaritch looks at his team members doing this, breathing heavily as he nods his head strongly, "We can still get this done."

"Hell yeah." The one restraining Tuk agrees with her leader, as holds up her gun again from her side.

"Ughh.." Tuk groaned with annoyance, moving her hands around that were in cuffs against the railing, "I can't believe I'm tied up again!" She whines.

Underneath the water where they were, Tsireya was quick to recover from being throw violently into the ocean, and made a throaty, clicking noise and hoped to call an ilu nearby.

She thought she was calling hers, but a familiar ilu was already lurking around the waters for her owner, as Sae, appears beside her with a worried, loud click.

Tsireya understood that Sae was hanging around because she felt (Y/N) in danger, and so she reached out for the saddle on her, and Sae let the teen hop on as they quickly sped off.

...

Up above near somewhere in the ship, (Y/N), Neteyam and Lo'ak were holding onto the beams above the soldiers, and crawled across them upside down.

When the three heard yells of the sky people below them, they all stopped and made sure to stay quiet. (Y/N)'s ears twitched hearing the voices so close, as her eyes made contact with Neteyam's ones, and she give him a head flick.

She quickly turned to Lo'ak and did the same thing, as they moved towards an area uptop, where they walk on above them all.

The boys helped (Y/N) up on the yellow beams, as Neteyam lead the group with his knife in hand, while Lo'ak held his gun in hand and the three stopped at the ledge of the beam, spotting Spider with some of the soldiers.

The three of them shared a look as the sky people, and Spider were about to pass under him, and before the brothers could signal to jump down, (Y/N) was already jumping and landed down with a commando roll.

She elbowed one in the face that was coming at her, as the brothers eyes went wide watching this, impressed and quickly jumped down to join her, all dealing with their own sky person.

Neteyam shoved one away into the water that was coming up behind (Y/N), as she kicked one away in the stomach, both soldiers landing in the ocean.

Lo'ak knocked one out with his gun, yelling as he did so, and swung at another one near Spider, while (Y/N) punched the last one away that was behind Lo'ak, wincing as she did so from the hit on her knuckles.

Spider immediately joined the fighting seeing them, as he took off some of the soldiers oxygen masks off, and punched one in the face with a grunt.

None of them noticed the one on the floor, who was hurt but went to grab the gun near him and go to aim it at (Y/N), who had her back turned, however, Lo'ak hissed seeing this and aimed his gun at him, spraying the sky person with bullets, successfully killing him.

(Y/N) span around hearing the gun, as she ran up to Lo'ak and pressed a hand against his arm, making sure he was alright as the male stares at the dead person, chest heaving.

"Bro, come on." Spider calls out to them, knowing they needed to go as more sky people would be coming after them.

"Let's go." Neteyam tells the two next to him, pressing a hand behind (Y/N)'s back as he guides her in front of him and Lo'ak, and she was the first one to jump down from the platform, the other three following behind.

"Thanks, guys-" Spider went to start talking, looking between the trio, but Lo'aks and (Y/N)'s eyes were behind him, looking at something incoming.

Their eyes got wide like saucers as they spot Lyle from the opposite pathway, and the Avatar spots them, going to take out his weapon.

"Go! Go!" Spider urges them with a yell, going to pull (Y/N) to safety but Neteyam got her first, shielding her body with his as he shoves Lo'ak with them, who went to aim his gun at Lyle.

The brothers had the girl in between them, as they ducked and covered from the incoming bullets at them and Spider leads them towards a smaller area, away from the guns.

The group stumbled into the place, leaning their backs against the walls as (Y/N) catches her breath, hands on the brothers forearms, as the gun fire continued at them.

"Gimme that!" Neteyam exclaimed to Lo'ak hurriedly, as he leans over (Y/N) and swipes the gun from his brothers hands, reloading the ammo and lifted it up to fire out randomly at the Avatars shooting at them.

The Avatars ducked for cover at his shooting, while he continues to fire the gun and briefly turns back to the group, motioning to go.

"Go, go, go! And take (Y/N)!" Neteyam yelled to his brother, as the girl was making protest noises to leave him alone but Lo'ak grabs her hand and pulls her with him, following behind Spider who leads them.

"Nete-!" She shouts at the teen still firing, turning around to stare with wide eyes, but her voice became muffled when she got pulled into the water by Lo'ak, along with Spider, and they all made a splash as they dived in.

Back on the ship, Neteyam was finishing all the bullets left inside the gun, as he eventually ran out of ammo and threw the gun aside. Taking a quick deep breath, he jumped over the yellow railing and dived into the same pool the three went into.

Meanwhile, Lo'ak was helping (Y/N) swim under the ship with Spider next to them and the three quickly resurfaced above the water, treading their legs.

A familiar sound of an ilu clicking and chirping caught (Y/N)'s attention, as she turns around and spotted Tsireya on Sae, causing her to grin relieved at seeing both her new friends safe.

"Sae!" She cheers with a happy laugh, as her ilu clicks back with her flippers splashing against the water excited, also relieved to see her rider.

"Get on! Quick!" Tsireya hurries the group, as Lo'ak urges Spider forward onto the ilu, keeping a hand on (Y/N) as the girl was now frantically looking around the water.

"Where is he? Where is Neteyam-" She rants out of breath, heart rate picking up with nervousness as she looks behind her, and spots Neteyam's head resurfacing.

However, her eyes go wide and stomach drops as she spots Neteyam having a hand placed over his heart, and blood now started to leak into the water, "No...no don't do this." She pleaded, going to reach a hand out to him, and he reached out as well, but winced and pulled it back.

"Go!" He shouted through his teeth at her, and the others, as his face was shown to be in deep pain, "I'm shot-"

NOTE;; yes yes i know short chapter 😭 which is rare for this book, but i didn't want to post the entire thing yet since angst is coming next..lol...
