SUMMARY

"SHE WAS SO GOOD AT BEING IN TROUBLE, SO BAD AT BEING IN LOVE."

In which Diana Godwin is practically a goddess who has always gotten everything she's every wanted.

She's hurt people to get ahead without giving it a second thought, until she hurt them.

FACTS

—oop I am so bad at writing summaries oops I'll just explain it here in bullet points

—Diana is a Slytherin from a prominent Pureblood family. She is one year older than the golden trio (so a year older than Draco, a year younger than Fred).

—She has quite the reputation at school and is desired by most, envied by all

—She's not an air headed pretty girl, no. She's cunning, intelligent, witty. She knows the effect she has on people and she used that to her advantage.

—So, here's how I imagine this love triangle going;

—Her and Draco have known each other forever because of their families and there's always been this flirty tension there. Their parents have always teased the idea of the two of them marrying.

—Despite this, they're not dating. Diana has no desire to settle down while in school, but she flirts enough with Draco to keep him around and in love with her. While he knows she sleeps around a bit, he believes that he's the only one good enough for her. Draco and her can have a friends with benefits type relationship, if you'd like, but she'd always remind him they're not exclusive.

—With Fred, I imagine he would have gone out of his way to catch her eye with a prank. Those two DEFINITELY would have a friends with benefits relationship after.

—While she wouldn't like flaunt her relationship with Fred, she also isn't someone who is going to be embarrassed or deny something she's done. If it came out they were sleeping together she'd be like "yeah, so what?"

—Both boys are hopelessly in love with her. Draco would buy her lavish gifts, take her on dates, dote on her. Fred's approach is more telling her how beautiful she is, little pranks to catch her eye, doing actions to make her happy. Yet she reminds both that it's not exclusive.

—With Fred I can totally picture a scene where they're cuddling or something and he suggests running away together, away from her family and their expectations and everything, and she's like "Fred, that can never happen," breaking this secret hope he's always had.

—Anyways, she will grow to love both boys, in different ways & for different reasons. This should happen very slowly, because love is not something Diana is used to.

—Um Draco & Fred fight scene? probably

—completely up to you who she chooses! Keep in mind that choosing Fred would completely topple her life and end with her getting disowned, so it's not a decision she'd come to lightly.

—If she chooses Draco, pls don't break my bb Fred's heart & act like it's nothing. Diana would genuinely grow to love him and it would hurt her to break him

EXTRA

—I don't imagine George, the golden trio, or other Gryffindors would like her very much. Especially when it comes out about her and Fred

—Up to you if her family are death eaters! But Diana isn't a blood supremacist, she honestly doesn't care (she knows she's better than everyone else, blood status aside lol)

—Diana can grow from very cocky and self-centered to more kind and genuine throughout the story

—Definitely do not have to write smut (bc I don't write it personally I would never expect anyone else to) but Diana is a very sexual, promiscuous person. This is a mature storyline.

—I hate stories where Fred dies (like I genuinely live in a world where he didn't die screw what the terf says) so if you are going to include his death, please warn me at least lol. I'll need to prepare

—This story was inspired by the song "So Good At Being In Trouble" by Unknown Mortal Orchestra & that's where the quote in the description comes from!

—This is a very loose plot because I love to give creative freedom but I do have a more structured plot in mind for if I were to write this, so if you need help or have questions please ask!
