SOME THINGS GO WRONG IN LIFE. Like when all the individuals considered for the Avenger project refused, disappeared, and weren't found, without any backup, Fury assembles a new version of the Avengers, hoping they'll do better than their predecessors.

But some of his choices aren't exactly the average superhero, a woman whose powers almost leveled a city, a boy who never lets a book out of sight, claiming that a witch who won't stop for anything is searching for it, and Fury's left with the simple question that could change the world:

PERSONALITY - Mischievous, sly, moral in her own way, rule breaker, does what's right, rarely melancholic, charismatic, friendly but usually doesn't have a lot of friends, cracks jokes, put all her emotions out there, one second happy-go-lucky the next a raging demon, she's a pretty fun person to be around, and will definitely end up pranking someone

LIKES - doing the 'rigth' thing, looking at old photographs, being free

DISLIKES - oppressive rules, orders from people she dislikes, being caged in

STRENGTH - always two steps ahead of the game, great at faking it, but eventually the façade becomes real, good fighter, very flexible when it comes to her job

WEAKNESSES - overestimates or underestimates herself, throws everything out there in rage, rageful and vengeful, will ignore orders if she considers them against her beliefs

FEARS - snakes, possession, being useless

SPECIAL TRAITS - slips in and out of Spanish subconsciously, doesn't care if you don't know, but she'll shout 'DERECHA' until you get the idea she wants you to go right

POWERS/WEAPONS - enhanced natural abilities and energy manipulation, but for some reason her eyes turn inky black and irises a firey red, and her powers increase, but her control seemed to fail, causing massive collateral damage

SUPER SUIT/UNIFORM - usually went in with nothing but jeans and tank top, leveled up to black uniform similar to natasha romanoff's in infinity war, with red accents instead if gray, two zippers in the back, no reason given to why

OPINION ON OCS +CANON:

RIO - she considered him this fluffy little puppy with a fancy book
FURY - adi regularly challenges authority, and fury is the perfect model of 'authority'

FAMILY - alba alaya - grandmother
valeria alaya - mother
father - unknown

BACKSTORY - not much is known about adi, she was born in havana, cuba, to valeria and an unknown father, her grandma alba basically raised her and adi was cursed or blessed with powers after the age of nineteen, nobody knows how and why she got them, but rumors about her suggest they were part of a deal with an otherworldly demon.

REASON FOR RECRUITMENT - after almost leveling a building to dust while fighting a black widow assassin, fury decided that a threat should be kept close, and asked her to join, to learn the boundaries of her power and to make sure there won't be a repeat of that.

PERSONALITY - Soft, kind, optimist, naive, oblivious, sweet, creative, moral, dependable, very chill, always seems lost in daydreams, but he's actually great at focusing during 'boring' lectures, team player

LIKES - reading, taking things easy, relaxing

DISLIKES - being tricked, strict people, cooking

STRENGTH - spellcasting, good teammate, happy to follow your lead, super trusting

WEAKNESSES - naively innocent, super trusting, he's fooled easily, always send him with someone tough and smart, or he'll wander into loki's

SPECIAL TRAITS - stutters sometimes, rubs the back of his neck in embarrassment, every single shy kid

POWERS/WEAPONS - vast array of spells given to him by the greenspan grimoire, spells, transfigurations, and the occasional potion, the greenspan grimoire is a watered down, much less powerful, and definitely not evil version of the darkhold, teal-colored spells

SUPER SUIT/UNIFORM - blue long-sleeved shirt, straps on back for holding weapons, occasionally hooded cloak

OPINION ON OCS +CANON:

ADI - rio was extremely confused on how her magic was non-related to his grimoire, he's studying her carefully, mostly since he's afraid of the reason she got her powers
FURY - he's the boss, he's the coolest, rio doesn't want or try to mess with him, not wanting to be on his bad side

FAMILY - kara greenspan (nee Meredith) - mother, missing
brian greenspan - father, missing
ford greenspan - older brother, missing
mary greenspan - great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandmother, deceased

BACKSTORY - rio's family was descended from the salem witch mary greenspan, her grimoire passed down from generation to generation, making the greenspan family one of the first with male wizards, the magic skipping every two generations, and ending up at rio, his powers kicked in at sixteen, he was a naive teen who a witch stumpled upon, the witch could feel the grimoire nearby, and he accepted, unknowing of the grimoire's true powers, a few months in the training, rio realized the grimoire would fall in the wrong hands, and that the witch was mentioned in the grimoire: agatha harkness, killer of the witches, he ran away, protecting his family and being chased by agatha across the world, all while he learn magic. the grimoire is a beacon of magic energy, and any witch or magic user can feel it in the vicinity, gaining rio many enemies.

REASON FOR RECRUITMENT - he was one of the last ones to be picked, he was found by hill and suggested by hill due to his powers, not to mention that the grimoire could have been used as a power source by s.h.i.e.l.d when needed.
