Long ago, the sectors were once united, each holding their own gifts and abilities but suddenly, an evil emperor rose to power, separating the nations and taking away everything its people had. The emperor's reign of terror lasted for several decades, and the people of the sectors were powerless to stop him. Finally, a brave few rose up and overthrew the emperor, restoring peace and unity to the sectors.

But as the glory and fame slowly got to their heads, the corruption began to fill their hearts. The once humble leaders took the gifts bestowed upon its people; the vary things that had been created to protect them and hid them far away.

For years, empires rose and fell as new nations flooded the Earth, all failing to realize that the problems with mankind were not caused by the Earth alone but rather by the people who lived there. As the Earth filled with humans from all nations, spreading their languages and culture, the new rulers began to see how the differences of humans were tearing them apart. But one man had an idea; a great creation that he had discovered.

The Elemental Stones.

The shards from the stones carried strength and great power, and he devised a plan to save the people of the world before they destroyed themselves. This began the global "thinning", all those who were deemed "unwell" were cut off from society and left to perish in the outer cities as the remaining 24 nations rose as the leaders of their sectors, all bearing an element of power.

For years, the Earth seemed to be healing as the sectors began to all work together in their elements.

But time and time again, history has proven that humans can never rule themselves. Strife began to break out in the sectors and nations began to slowly perish off the face of the Earth, leaving only 16 elements to protect and care for the Earth but only the strongest would survive and those whose abilities began to grow dark and fill with gloom, they were banished to Dakr and Jugeum where their gifts would remain untouched for a hundred years.

Now the time has come for the sectors to become one again, and upon the decree of the High Queen Athalia, the sixteen elements must reunite and work together to restore peace to the Earth. It is up to them to decide whether the world will live in harmony or their sector will fall like all other nations before them. One from each nation will be chosen to compete in the representation of their sector, but as history has shown, a nation must fall for a new nation to rise.
