I was there, two or three people were also there. A dusty old room greeted them.

In that room, they discovered various old stuff, centuries ago that used to be in school.

In that very room, they came across a picture of two people โ€“ one standing, the other sitting elegantly with his hands on his lap. The picture was old and covered in dust, but I could make out the Valencia Academy insignia, indicating it was from the school and possibly around 100 years old.

One looked like a male and the other, another male?

"Dude, I know him, it's-" The students's voice turned static, as he was about to the name, "holy shit is that-" student number two's voice was also cut off.

I was about to go near the portrait before a voice jolted me awake.

The train jostled me awake, and I blinked, trying to shake off the remnants of the dream. It had been a vivid one, full of ancient images and foreboding. I rubbed my eyes and glanced around the train cabin, taking in the familiar faces of my sister. Hana, my paternal sibling and friend, sat across from me, her eyes filled with concern.

"Unnie, are you alright?" she asked, her voice soft. "You were shaking in your sleep and looked like you were having a nightmare."

I shook my head, pushing the dream to the back of my mind. "I'm fine, Hana. Just a silly dream, that's all."

But even as I spoke the words, I couldn't help but wonder if there was more to the dream than I realized. It felt so real, so tangible. I could still see the dusty tunnel, the ancient picture, and the two figures, one standing and one sitting elegantly with their hands on their lap. It felt like the picture held something powerful.

I couldn't shake the feeling that I was missing something, that there was some piece of the puzzle that I was overlooking. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't figure it out.

Hana looked unconvinced, but she didn't press the issue. Instead, she changed the subject, chatting about the upcoming school year at Valencia Academy, a school for demigods like us.

As she talked, I tuned her out, my mind still stuck on the dream. I had seen two or three students discovering a tunnel accidentally under a tower. It had been dark and musty, the air thick with dust and the weight of history.ย

For now, all I could do was wait and see, and hope that when the time came, I would be ready and warn my fellow demigods.
