"Say something meri Jaan?" I whispered into her ears.

"We are not supposed to be like this" she replied, as if in pain.

"We are here because we both want it"

"We are here because we both are drunk", she replied back

"Ishu, we are getting separated by Friday, we are supposed to stay in different rooms"

"Yaa but we are sleeping on each other"

"Ishan.. please don't make things hard for me"

She blushed at my comment, looking away.

"It's not even twenty percent of the stuffs I've imagined doing with you" I said, stooping closer to her.

I sat down on my knees so that I could be in her eye level and cupped her face in my hands.

"Janhavi?"

"Maa? Kya huya Maa ko?"

She started crying louder, unable to reply to me.

"Maa.. Ishan...."

I saw her phone lying on her lap, and somebody was on the call. Realising that something was really wrong, I picked up the call.

"Hello?" I spoke.

"Beta, Janhavi ki maa aur nahi rahi", Janhavi's dad spoke, his voice shaking uncontrollably.

"Kya? Kya bol rahe hain?"

"Kal raat ko heart attack huya, hospital le gaye. Kuch ghanto mein doctor ne..." he started sobbing now.

"Kya?" I said feebly, unable to comprehend.

"Beta tum please Janhavi ka khayal rakhna nahi to wo nahi seh payegi.. please... Aur ho sake to jaldi se jaldi yaha aa jao.", saying that he ended the call.

"Ishan aisa kyu huya mere saath", she said sobbing uncontrollably.

I hugged her, unable to reply. She tightly held me, clutched my t-shirt. Her tears were drenching the crook of my neck and I literally had no words to describe I felt.

I was feeling so helpless and a heavy pain was spreading in my Heart. The sight of Janhavi crying like this was unbearable for me. I wanted to do something for her, help her but I had no idea what to do.

And we stayed there, hugging each other, for I don't know how long....
