How are you, my love? I miss you. I miss you so much that it aches my heart for real. I just wanna see that smile on your face that lights up my heart like the brightest sunshine on a summer's day.

Alright, I'll stop with the corniness. Or . . . should I not?

It's been a while since we met each other. The last time we met was when you went to drop me off at the airport, your eyes teary and our souls engulfed in a hug that lasted for an eternity. Seeing you cry made my throat burn with tears as well. I couldn't help but cry a little in the flight not gonna lie. But happily, I'm writing to you again.

I have been so stressed with work and for these past few months, there have been rigorous shooting schedules. I have been absolutely tired and burnt out. There are times that I don't even wanna get out of bed, you know? I just wanna cuddle up next to you, give you forehead kisses and hug you all night long. But we are apart. That aches my heart even more. There are sleepless nights, when all I think about is you. As much as I love my job, I hate that it keeps us separated for so long. It's been a hot day here in California and all I did was run from set to the other, doing repeated commercial shootings and that one film I was working on, that I told you about.

I swear I wanna go back to you. I don't wanna be a mess by myself here. I don't even wanna look at those producers or do another commercial shooting. I don't wanna wake up at 4am in the morning for some ghastly film sequence with someone I don't even know and not be there with you when I need you the most.

I hope I meet you soon (guess when I'm coming back?). Gonna bring you your favourite chocolates and that artist colour set that'd you'd asked for while you painted my portrait last year, remember? I can't wait to be there with you again, my Venus.
