꧁★ act one — chapter one ★꧂

The Cooper siblings used to be very close once and then one day Michael Cooper started drifting away from his little sister Brooklyn and nothing was ever the same after that.

Brooklyn walked onto the school grounds alone as usual and just observed everyone, everyone with all of their friends, talking and laughing.

"Oi! There's a fully-backed sex map in the old stairwell. It's called the Incest map!" A girl yelled out of nowhere and everyone took of toward the direction of the old stairwell including Brooklyn.

As Brooklyn pushed through the crowd of people she looked over the map and look over some of the names and scanning the meanings on the side, she kept looking around until her eyes fell upon her own name, her brows furrowed as she looked to who it was connected to, her name had two lines which made her confused.

One line lead to Anderson's name, Brooklyn furrowed her brows again, she saw Anderson's name was connected to someone, she followed the line and it landed on cash and cash's other line connected with her own name.

"Brooklyn, Anderson and cash had a threesome? Always knew those Eshays were something else." Someone from the crowd said and the crowd of people all chuckled before returning to looking at the map, Brooklyn shook her head and made her way out of the stairwell.

"Brook!" A familiar voice called out, Brooklyn turned around as cash made his way toward her. "What Dougie?" Brooklyn rolled her eyes, something she always did, something they both knew was just for fun.

"You okay? Look that map is bullshit and you and I both know that what it said about us is not true." Cash explained and brook sighed.

"I know, I just don't get why people like making up rumors like that." Brooklyn spoke and shook her head, she turned around and started walking again a second later cash swung his arm around her, Brooklyn chuckled as the two walked together.

"Sit down, Amerie." Brooklyn looked up as the principal started talking, she saw someone from the corner of her eye making their way into the gym, she looked over and saw Anderson, she gave him a small wave, he saw her and cash and made his way over and sat down.

"Why are we here?" Anderson whispered to her. "Someone made a sex map. Apparently me, you and cash had a threesome." Brooklyn said with a tight smile, she turned to look at the front but couldn't help but smile at the face Anderson made while trying not to laugh.

"I am a woke woman. I enjoy sex as much as the next person." The principal spoke and everyone let out laughs at that, Brooklyn cracked a smile.

"But reputation is everything and this map has jeopardized your reputations and the reputation of our school. And on the first day back. We are currently in the process of contacting all the parents of everyone on this map." Brooklyn sunk down in her seat.

"Fucking awesome, now my brother is gonna think I slept with the two of you." Brooklyn sighed, honestly she was scared, it wasn't true but Michael or rather Shook didn't know that.

"And have strongly suggested that there are to be no more parties, shining or gathos." Everyone immediately broke out into complaints at that. "Hey! Hey! Unsupervised parties equals alcohol. Alcohols equals poor choices." Brooklyn mouthed along with the last part, cash often tried his best to make her not drink and stuff but it was no use, her brother had gotten her so far gone with smoking and drinking that she had no idea how to stop.

Or if she even could.

"The risk-taking behaviors outlined on this map are unacceptable. Hartley High prides itself on being a safe environment. But clearly this is a wake-up call that we are not doing enough. Oh, and we will find out who did this. Get to class."

"Will the following students please meet at classroom 5D:" principal Woodsy's voice came through the speakers as Brooklyn was stood with Anderson and Cash like always.

"Amerie Wadia, Harper McLean, Sasha So, Missy Beckett, Dustin Reid, Spencer White, Anthony Vaughn, Darren Rivers, Quinn Gallagher-Jones, Douglas Piggott, Anderson Dashwood, Brooklyn Cooper, Malakai Mitchell."

"What the fuck man." Brooklyn said as she threw her arms in the air, Anderson laughed as he and Cash started walking, they both looked back at Brooklyn who hadn't moved, Brooklyn groaned and looked up to the sky before she started to walk with them, the two laughing at her.

"Oi, essay bah!" Spider spoke as the trio walked into the room and sat down. "How was stereo, brah?" Spider asked and they just ignored him.

"How was sharing a girl by the way?" Spider asked and Brooklyn swung around. "It never happened cunt, you're probably the one spreading lies." Brooklyn said and by the smile on Spiders face she knew then and there that he'd been the one to make up the rumor.

"Hi, everyone. I'm Miss Josephine Obah, but you can call me Jojo. Kind of like 'yo-yo', but J." Josephine spoke and then let out an awkward chuckle and dropping her smile. "I'm and English teacher, so I know some of you. But I'm sure you're all wondering why you're here."

"Well, your names were on the map in the stairwell. You know the one that's out of bounds." Then a guy in front of the trio put his hand up. "Um, what map?"

"Okay, very funny. Look, peeps, we're not dumb. We know a lot of you are sexually active, but we're concerned this map demonstrates a real lack of respect for one another when it comes to sexual relationships. So we want dress it head-on. This is a special class that aims to give you clear and accessible information about sex and intimacy--" Miss Obah explained before she was interrupted by Woodsy.

"A sexual literacy tutorial." Woodsy spoke confidently. "SLT. So we're sluts?" Brooklyn looked over at the guy she recognized as Darren. Everyone started laughing, talking, clapping their hands and making fun of it, it was total chaos. "Sluts! Sluts! Sluts!" They chanted over and over.

"That's enough. Come on, everyone. This class will go back to the basics on sex and--" Jojo started but was interrupted by Woodsy, Brooklynn shifted her eyes to Woodsy but looked at Anderson as she felt his leg start to do his usual shake, he hated so many people in this room, it made him anxious, so as descretly as she could, Brooke placed her hand on his thigh in comfort, the shaking sligthly stopped and Anderson took ahold of her hand.

Brooke didn't care how it looked to others in that moment, Anderson needed her and that came above all else in this moment.

"Because clearly, you all have a lot to learn in that department." Brooke returned her attention toward Woodsy and Jojo, not letting go of Andersons hand. "It'll happen twice a week, in your own time." Jojo explained and everyone got mad, Brooke herself let out a groan. "Fuck, man." She said as she put her head on the table.

"No, until we judge that you started to respect each other and yourselves. You have to attend every class or it'll go on your permanent record." Jojo said as everyone quieted down again. "Wait, we have permanent records?" Anthony asked from the back as Brooke lifted her head back up to see Anderson smiling down at her, is usual flirty glint in his eyes, Brooke rolled her eyes at him and looked away.

"Sorry. Um, it's actually my first day. I don't think I'm supposed to be in here." A guy Brooke didn't recognize spoke up which made Brooke furrow her brows.

"Legend! Made it to the map before you even started!" Spencer laughed, Brooke felt kind of bad for the poor kid, being dragged into this mess on your first day that couldn't be fun.

"All right, everybody up! Up. Up. Up." Woodsy spoke and everyone slowly made their way up and stood in front of their seats. "Okay, now clear these tables to the side, please. And lift them, don't scrape them along the floor." Woodsy said but as she said to lift them, nobody did.

"Thank you. Now, I want you all to start walking around the room. Come on. Walking." Woodsy said, everyone made complaints but started very slowly walking around the room. "Now, I want you to choose three other people to start shaking hands with."

Brooke furrowed her brows in confusion but shook hands with Cash, Anderson and Quinn, the girl giving Brooke a smile smile that Brooke happily returned.

"... stop." Woodsy spoke and everyone stopped shaking hands with each other to pay attention to Woodsy. "Spencer. You have genital crabs." Woodsy said and everyone started laughing.

"Put your hand up, Spencer. Hand up, Spencer." Spencer who had a very annoyed expression on his face put his hand up with anger. "Now. Hands up, who shook hands with Spencer." Woodsy said and some raised their hands. "And who shook hands with them?" She continued until everyone besides Amerie had their hand up.

"You all have genital warts." Woodsy said and Spider snickered. "I thought it was crabs?" The new kid said making Brooke let out a chuckle. "Right thank you uhm.." Woodsy spoke waiting for his name. "Malakai."

"Malakai. Thank you. You all have genital crabs. Except for you, Amerie. Well done." Woodsy said and Brooke let out a sigh. "great." She joked earning a small hit on the arm by Cash's elbow, which she of course did back.

"Now. What does this highlight the need for?" Woodsy asked around in the classroom, Brooke put her hand up but Cash answered before she got it all the way up. "Stay away from Spider, he's chat." Cash joked and some laughed.

"No! Brooke?" Woodsy said and everyone looked back at Brooke which she ignored.

"That we need to use condoms to avoid unwanted and teen pregnancies but mostly in this case to avoid any genital warts." Brooke said, saying warts on pourpose just to mess with Woodsy which made some others laugh.

"That is right Brooke, great." Woodsy said and then the school bell rang and Brooke silently thanked the universe as she wanted to get the hell out of there.

As they all left, Cash hung back a couple of seconds in the hall to speak to Harper, Anderson look at Brooke with a confused expression but she just shrugged her shoulders, in no time Cash caught up to them.

"What was that about?" Brooke asked as Cash walked at her side. "Uh nothing, it doesn't matter." Cash said, neither Brooke or Anderson believed him but just brushed it off.

Brooke cleared her throat as she stood beside all of the eshays, her throat irritated from being so dry, Anderson was quick to hand her his bottle of water with a smile.

"Thanks." Brooklyn said with a smile, she took a big gulp and leaned back against the car in almost pure pleasure as her throat became less irritated, she heard a soft chuckle and looked at Cash who was smiling at her, she narrowed her eyes at him and he just shook his head.

Brooke handed Anderson his water bottle back and she leaned back against the car and closed her eyes just enjoying the sun, a couple of minutes later she felt something against her lips and opened her eyes to see Chook holding a cigarette to her lips.

"Helloo? I'm talking to you." He said with little to none emotion on his face, obviosuly annoyed at her for answering. "Sorry." She mumbled, he rolled his eyes with a smile and placed the cigarette between her lips when she opened her mouth, she gave him a thanks as he handed her the ligther to light it.

Chook sat on the scooter as Cash went to get a delivery, Brooke offered Anderson some of her cigarette which he gladly accepted.

"You two going to the cemetery party?" Cash asked as he walked back to the group looking at Brooke and Anderson. "Hell yeah, I'm ready to get fucked up, I've been dealing with these shits all day, I'm done." Brooke joked earning a hit on the head from her brother. "Hey!" She said as she hit shoulder.

"You going?" Brooke asked as she looked at Anderson. "Well someone has to look after you." He replied with a laugh and Brooke rolled her eyes.

Brooke stood beside Anderson and Cash enjoying some drinks, no one was really partying yet, just slight drinking and partying, until Malakai started dancing, joined by others and slowly a lot of people were dancing.

Brooke took ahold of Anderson's hand and dragged him to the middle to dance with her amongst the others.

It was now dark outside and Brooke was definetly fucked up, she swayed around with her hole body to the music, Anderson was watching her closely, Cash watched her every now and then to make sure she was alright, but he was obviously also dealing.

Brooke welcomed Anderson to dance with her, he shook his head with a smile, but she kept silently begging him until he gave in, he walked toward her, he grabbed ahold of her hips and they were swaying from side to side to the music, just looking into each others eyes.

"My brother already hates me because of the map thing, i told him it wasn't real but he didn't believe me, so i mean what's the point?" Brooke spoke trying her best not to mumble over her words.

"What do you mean?" Anderson asked. "I mean, no matter what i say or do, everyone believes that what the map said happened, so..." Brooke spoke drunkenly and took ahold of his face leaning in, Anderson however pushed her back gently.

"Brooke i won't do that, at least not when you're not sober." Anderson spoke. Brooke was about to talk until someone yelled that there were cops.

Everyone began running, Anderson was holding onto Brooke's hand as tightly as he could as she wasn't doing the best at walking let alone running, getting over the gate however, was hell.

Anderson practically threw Brooke over the gate to the other side, she let out multiple grunts and curses toward Anderson, but he completely ignored her and threw her over his shoulder so she wouldn't have to walk or run.

After what felt like forever Anderson finally made it to the house, Chook and the rest just stared at him as he carried a sleeping Brooke over his shoulder into and through the living room and into her room, he placed her on the bed, he placed a soft kiss on her forhead and took of her shoes for her, then he walked back out leaving her to sleep.
