"Open the door, Kaleb! Before I kick it in!" Candice slammed his fist on the door again before it opened, Kaleb catching her fist before it could make contact with his face. "Easy there, love. What's got your panties in a twist?" Candice pushed her way inside, looking around the apartment before turning to face the man. "I am onto you! I know what you're doing!" Candice pointed an accusing finger, causing his eyes to widen. "What are you going on about this time, darling?"

She glares, throwing her purse onto the table. "Oh, do not "darling" me! I see what you're doing. You think I didn't see that witch Vincent, watching us on our date before the werewolf attack? And this necklace you gave me!" Candice ripped it from her neck, throwing it at him. "It's spelled! I noticed the second I touched it! What the bloody hell are you hiding from me?" Kaleb sighed, "I'm not hiding anything from you, love."

"Liar! It's such a shame really. I was actually starting to like you! Silly me." Candice scoffs, going to step forward, he put his hand out, "Don't you think you're being a bit paranoid?" Candice's eyes widened, he quickly realized his mistake. "Paranoid?! No, you don't get to say that! I have been studying you! The way you talk, the way you carry yourself, the jewelry you wear, the bloody clothes you wear! I see the way you look at me, and the way you touch me, and all I can see is, Kol Mikaelson!"

Kaleb shook his head, he should've known she was going to catch on eventually. But it was still far too early. He needed to stall her for just a bit longer. Though he hated that this was making her go crazy. "Candice, I need you to hear me out. Can you do that?" Candice inhaled sharply, turning on her heel, she sit on the sofa and gestured for him to speak. "Go on. But I swear if I get the slightest feeling that you are my Kol, I will kick your ass."

Kaleb took a deep breath before taking a seat next to her, seeing how she was watching every move he made. "This necklace is spelled because it's made with magic. Every coven crest you had made, was performed with magic, even you know that. You wrote the spell for them, remember?" Candice nodded, but was quick to jump to more conclusions. "Okay, but that doesn't explain everything else! You are Kol, I know it! I just can't figure out how you're in this body!"

Kaleb placed his hands over her shaking ones, pulling them back onto her lap. "I am not Kol, I promise. I'm a witch, just like Kol Mikaelson was born as one. We're kindred spirits, love. It's probably just a coincidence. Kol is dead, you said so yourself. He died as a vampire, he couldn't have put himself in my body. Do you understand? I am not Kol Mikaelson. This is all in your head, darling. Trust me. If I was Kol, why would I waste my time trying to get to know you when I could already have you in my bed?"

Candice groaned, pulling her hands from his and standing up, running a hand through her hair. "That is something, Kol Mikaelson would say!" Kaleb stood up, feeling like this was impossible, despite how much he hated lying to her, he needed to. And when this was all over he could finally tell her the truth and pray she forgives him. "Candice, I am not Kol. What more else do you want?"

"Prove it." Candice crossed her arms over her chest. "Prove to me that you are not Kol Mikaelson."

Kaleb scoffs. "How in the bloody hell am I supposed to do that? You spent a thousand years with him, he knows everything about you." Candice pursed her lips, he was quite right, Kol knew everything there was to know about her,ย  minus one thing. But she could still try. "Okay, answer me this question. Who is Aleksandar Parker? And you cannot lie, I am listening to your heart." Kaleb gulped, it was a good thing he was an excellent liar. "Um, I'm not sure. A brother maybe? Possibly an uncle?"

Candice sighed, running a hand over her hair she nods to herself. "Okay, maybe you're not Kol, after all. He would've said it's my father. He's the only one besides my brother who knows that information. And now you, so if you tell anyone, I will murder you in your sleep and feed your bones to the dogs." Kaleb nods, letting out a breath of relief. "Lips are sealed, love."

Kaleb walked towards her, noticing she was still coated in the blood from the werewolf brawl. "No offense or anything, but it's hard to focus when you're covered in blood." Candice furrowed her brows, glancing down at her body and humming. "Oh yeah, you're not Kol. He loves when I'm covered in the blood of our enemies. He would've described me like a piece of art in a museum, scattered with a dark red paint that made me stand out so beautifully from the others."

Kaleb chuckles softly, rubbing his neck, that is exactly what he would say, and he was thinking it. But of course, now that he was human, the blood wasn't exactly appealing to look at anymore. "This Kol lad, is making it really difficult to compete with him. He reads you poems and I just look good." Candice chuckles, shaking her head. "You can't compete with him, because frankly he would beat you every time. My heart belongs to him, always and forever. No man in the world could change that."

Kaleb pursed his lips, walking towards her. He was very flattered to hear that. "You make a good point. But, seeing as I'm alive, I guess you'll just have to deal with me." Candice nods, clearing her throat, she takes a step back. "I should be leaving. Niklaus is going to be requesting my help in a locator spell to find his dearest father, and I desperately need a shower." Candice goes to leave until Kaleb takes a hold of her hand, stopping her. "I have a perfectly good shower here you can use?"

"If you're proposing to see me naked, I am going to have to decline. You are far too young for me." Candice shrugs, peeling off her jacket and tossing it onto the coat rack. "We're the same age, Candice," he pointed out. She shook her finger at him as she removed her rings, all except the two that connect her with Kol and Anthony, including the ring that connects her to Hope. "That's untrue. You're a child. I am a thousand years older than you."

Kaleb smirks, looking her up and down as she pulls off her red bottom heels. "You're body isn't." Candice walked over to him, holding her hand on his cheek. "Never gonna happen, darling. But I will take you up on that shower." She pats his cheek before walking into the bathroom and shutting the door, switching on the water.

Awhile later, Candice stepped out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped about her body. She tilts her head, seeing Kaleb looking in her purse. "You won't find anything useful in there." He looked up hearing her soft voice, clearing his throat, he sets it back down. "Actually, I'm looking for your phone. It wouldn't stop bloody ringing." Candice hums, walking over to her jacket and pulling her phone from the pocket. He was right, it ringed a ton of times, most of them were from Niklaus, the rest were from Hayley, Elijah, and Marcel.

"I should go, they're really desperate." Candice said. Kaleb walks over and swiftly takes the phone from her hand, powering it off. "Come on, love. You've been servicing this family for thousands of years, I'm sure they can go one day without you." Candice shook her head, walking away to grab her things. "You don't get it, this is my family and everytime I'm not there everything suddenly goes to shit!" She scrambles for her clothes, suddenly realizing that they weren't there.

"Where are my-" She turned around, only as she did that, a pair of lips found her soft pink ones. Kaleb's arms snaked about her waist pulling her closer. Her arms reached around his neck, deepening the kiss. It was such a familiar feeling that it kind of felt wrong. But it also felt so right. One kiss couldn't hurt, right? He pulled away for air, almost forgetting that he was human being so lost in her touch. "You're staying, I'll hold your clothes hostage if you don't."

Candice chuckles, pressing her forehead against his. "Okay, I'll stay. But, no more kissing my lips." Kaleb shrugs carelessly, pulling her closer as if he couldn't get enough of her. "Fine by me, love. I'll just kiss you everywhere else." Before she could object his lips were already on her neck, sucking and kissing at her smooth skin. She let out a sweet sigh, yeah this definitely couldn't have been Kol. He was always far more aggressive, but it also could've just been the vampire strength.

Kaleb's hand landed under her the back of her thighs and he lifted her up, carrying her over to the bed. "You know, this very inappropriate." Candice says, feeling like it was way too soon to hop in bed. "If you think that's inappropriate, you aren't gonna like this." Kaleb tugged off his shirt, tossing it to the side carelessly. She inhales sharply, shaking her head, "oh no, I quite like that. Bloody hell, I hate that I do." He smirked, unbuttoning his pants. "Good. That means you're gonna enjoy this. I want you to."

Candice smiles cheerfully and slowly removes the towel that covered her nude body. Kaleb's breath hitches as he admires her, no matter how many times he seen her like this, she never failed to take his breath away. "What are you doing to me, Candice Parker?" Those words caught her off guard, but she didn't get much chance to react before his lips were back on hers.

Those eight words could only be the words of Kol Mikaelson.

"Candy, dear! Your lack of communication is really starting to upset me! My, oh so dear mother has invited you to join us for dinner and it would do well that you are there. As you already know, she is possessing a body of a sixteen year old girl, so we need your help to figure out which body she is going to jump into next when I rip out her bloody throat. It would be helpful if you answer your phone!" Candice chuckles, shaking her head in amusement at Klaus's exclamation from one of the dozens of voicemails he left her.

"He's got some anger issues. He should see a counselor." Kaleb advises, as she laughs to herself. She sighed, setting down her phone and sitting up. "I should go before they start to think I've been kidnapped. But this was a lot of fun, I enjoyed it, really." Kaleb slid his hand around her bare waist, pulling her back into the sheets. "Come on, love. Stay a little longer. They can find another witch to help them. It's not every day you get a moments peace in that family."

Candice closed her eyes, contemplating his words, the last sentence was a bit weird of him to say. It's not like he knew the Mikaelsons personally. Maybe it was just a coincidence. "Fine. Just a little longer, but I have to be back for dinner. Who knows what the wicked witch has planned and they're gonna need my help in case she tries anything." Kaleb smiles, pressing his lips against hers.

She pulled away suddenly, causing him to look at her in confusion. "What's wrong?" She gulped, glancing back at his neck, she could smell his blood, it was stronger and way harder to resist. "I-I can't do this, it's your blood. I need to leave. I need to feed. I need blood. I haven't, I haven't fed for hours." Candice shook her head, feeling the veins beginning to make their presence and she couldn't control it any longer. She had to leave or she'd kill him.

Kaleb reaches his hands to place on her arms, rubbing them softly. "Relax, take a breath. Just drink from me, it's no big deal." Candice shook her head immediately, her eyes widening as she goes to object. "No, I can't. I already betrayed Kol by sleeping with you, I can't drink your blood. He'll kill you if he finds out! You should've seen what happened to the last guy who tried to pursue me!"

Kaleb pursed his lips, she wasn't exactly wrong. "Well, I don't see Kol anywhere, do you?" Candice sighed, shaking her head in reply. His hand grazed her cheek, brushing her head from her face. "Then he doesn't have to know love. So, you either drink my blood or I'll cut my wrist and give you no choice." Candice huffed, rolling her eyes. "That's coercion or whatever. Fine."

Candice inhaled, brushing her hair out of the way before leaning forward and biting into Kaleb's neck. Drinking his blood.

"Shit! I'm late for dinner! You made me late!" Candice groaned as she checked her watch, there was no use in going now. It was probably over by now. "You were all over me, darling. I can't help I'm irresistible." Candice rolled her eyes in amusement as she sat up to put her clothes on. "Well, no more. I need to find that witch girl who is holding my father in law captive. May I use you to channel? I need enough magic to break her cloaking spell."

Kaleb nodded, quickly joining her at the table after getting dressed. "Use as much as you need, love."

Before Candice could get started, her phone rang loudly, causing her to quickly fetch it and answer the call. "It's about bloody time!" Klaus exclaimed. Candice sighs, "I know, I'm sorry, Nik. I've been very busy. I'm tracking down Mikael right now." Klaus sighs, wondering how he should give her the news. "Well, before you hang up. I need to tell you something and I don't want you to freak out and level the French Quarter."

Candice furrowed her brows, momentarily glancing at Kaleb who looked to be nervous. "What is it, Niklaus?"

"As you know, we had dinner with our mother, and before she jumped into another body, it was revealed to us that Finn, Anthony, and...Kol have been possessing the body of French Quarter witches." Candice's eyes widened hearing her brother's name. Finn didn't quite surprise her seeing as he was always a mommy's boy. She turned to face Kaleb, still holding the phone in her hand. "Yes, that's quite the unfortunate set of events. I will call you when I have more information about Mikael."

"Candy-" Candice hung up the phone, tossing it onto the table as she stood to her feet. "You lied to me. You looked me in my eyes and lied to me, Kol!" Candice pointed at him, he slowly stood, raising his hands so she didn't use her magic on him. "Easy, I didn't lie! I'm not Kol!" Candice scoffed, throwing out her hand to throw him into the wall. "Oh, so what? You're gonna tell me that I'm crazy? That I'm paranoid?! I have been onto you from the second we met!"

Kaleb or rather Kol, looked up at her with surprise. "What?"

"Don't act so surprised, darling. The ring you wear, when you died, it went with you! It's a soul ring, if you die, the ring goes with you! If you return, the ring returns with you! I'm not stupid, Kol! Did a thousand years mean nothing to you?! I know you Kol, I feel you. How could you possibly think I didn't know? Do you really think that low of me?" Candice scoffs, shaking her head, she felt betrayed and belittled to whatever game he was playing.

"Darling, I had no other choice. My mother-" Candice was quick to cut him off. "You always have a choice, Kol!" He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I did it for us! I did this for us, Candice! I did this for you! You think I enjoyed watching you on the other side? Watching all the pain you went through! I had to come back, I had to save you from yourself! You needed someone!" He paused himself, taking a breath, he didn't realize how much it hurt when she had thrown him into the wall. Now he was really starting to feel it in the human body.

"I didn't need anyone. I needed you. I just needed you." Candice breathed out. Kol walked over, slowly moving to slide his hands around her waist before pulling her closer. "I know, love. I'm sorry." He pulled her into his chest, she held back her tears, not giving into the sadness. No, she was angry. More than angry, she was infuriated. He died, and the second he comes back, he lies to her. All whilst knowing how hurt she was for losing him, for thinking it was her fault.

"No. No, we are not doing this." Candice pulled away, pushing him back, causing him to look at her in confusion. "You betrayed me! I loved you at your worst! I was there for you, always and forever! I mourned for you, I grieved you, and you betrayed me like I was nothing! You knew, you knew how much your death broke me, yet you still went and played with my feelings and expect me to forgive you?!" Candice was so angry, expressing everything that was bothering her, she didn't notice how objects were flying around, glass was smashing, the windows shattered and he didn't know how to stop her.

"I blamed myself! I thought I was the cause of your death, Kol. This wasn't the same as you being daggered, because at least I knew you were still alive! I lost you, I did! Do you know how much that eats at a person? Do you?! Cause I don't believe you do!" Kol looked around feeling the ground beginning to shake. "Candy, you need to calm down! Look around!" Her eyes widened, looking around she exhaled, the shaking stopped and everything dropped.

"Candy, I'm sorry. Really, I am. I didn't want you to find out this way. My mother threatened to send me back if I told you too soon." Kol said, trying his best to get through to her without her throwing him into a wall again. Candice rolled her eyes, scoffing under her breath. "You seriously expect me to believe that? Had you told me sooner, I would've been able to kill your mother! Instead, you encourage me to stay in bed with you all day, giving your dreadful mother a chance to jump into another body before I could prevent that!"

She chuckles darkly, leaning down to slip on her heels. "I'm done. You are so lucky you're in a human body cause if you weren't, I would've killed you already!" Kol pursed his lips, letting out a sigh, he hated what he was about to do. "I hope you understand what I'm about to do is for your own good." Candice squints her eyes, looking at him with confusion and interest. "What the bloody hell are you-" with a snap of his fingers, her neck snapped causing her to fall onto the floor, temporarily dead.

Kol looked down at her, "sorry love."

"Anthony, you better answer this phone right now! I have been snapping my girlfriend's neck all day and I gotta say, I'm afraid of what she's gonna do to me after this. She may actually kill me!" Kaleb hung up, sitting on the coffee table as he looked at his temporarily dead girlfriend. A second later, Alec finally calls him back. "What took you so long? It's been all day! She knows who I am, it's not long before she finds out about you and kills us both!"

"Hey, hey, calm down. I'm at a cabin in the woods with Davina. Klaus showed up and Davina got knocked out. I had to let Mikael free or he threatened to kill me. I need you to get here right now and help me. Davina is working on a spell that unlinks Klaus's sireline, and if we let that happen, mother dearest is not gonna be very happy. As for Candice, bring her with you and I'll reverse her memory. I'll send you the address." Anthony hung up after that.

Kol let out a frustrated sigh and grabbed his jacket, that was until he realized Candice wasn't on the bed anymore. "What the hell?" He looked around in confusion, wondering where she could've gone. "You know, I don't fancy having my neck snapped. It quite hurts." Kol jumped in surprise as Candice appeared in front of him, an irritated glint in her eyes. "And you can't just end a conversation by killing me!" Candice exclaimed angrily.

Kol gulped, going to snap it again until she caught his hand, siphoning his magic, he groaned being forced to a knee. "You should be grateful you're human, otherwise I'd snap your bloody neck, you traitor." Candice threw a punch, knocking him unconscious. "Now that felt good." She smirked, grabbing his phone and checking the address before leaving the apartment, ready to kill a witch.

Arriving at the scene, she seen Niklaus standing near a semi-dead looking Mikael, talking to a pretty blonde woman. "What the bloody hell is happening?! Why he isn't he burning in a pile of ashes, Niklaus?!" She exclaims, looking down at Mikael, she noticed the wound where Papa Tunde's blade had embedded itself in his chest. As much as she admired the dark object, she had her doubts about it. Yes, it may be able to influence an original like Klaus but Mikael was a different story. This blade was meant to put down Klaus, it wasn't meant for a stronger vampire like Mikael.

Klaus sighs, turning around to face his not so lovely sister in law. "Spectacular of you to make your presence, dear sister! Where the hell have you been?" Candice glares, her eyed finding his. The blonde woman was beyond confused at who Candice even was. "Wait, hold on, you have another sibling?" Candice inhaled, smelling the fresh blood of the blood human. Klaus was quick to put an arm in front Camille seeing this.

"No thanks to you, but I have had my neck snapped all bloody day by a teenage witch! Now I ask, why isn't he dead?!" Candice gestured down to her father in law who not days ago had his hand in her chest ready to pull out her heart. "Candice, go to the car, get a blood bag and then we can talk. It's hard to concentrate when you're eying the human behind me like she's dinner" Klaus said. Candice huffs before walking towards the car and grabbing a blood bag in the front.

She quickly finished up, not that it was enough but it kept her under control so she wouldn't kill the girl. "So, I believe this is Camille, the girl you replaced my dear sister Caroline with? You know, she looks quite like her. I see you have a type, Nik. Although, I see more similarities between myself and Camille. Quite the coincidence, isn't it?" Klaus rolls his eyes at her accusations, wondering who the hell must've pissed her off. She was acting way more bitchy than usual.

"Is it impossible for you to not be condescending?" He retorts with an irritated sigh.

"No, quite frankly, I enjoy being condescending. It's better than showing weakness and falling for pathetic humans." Candice argued. Camille raised her brows really seeing how similar her and Klaus were. "Wow. Can I just say, if you are siblings, it makes so much sense. You know, I'm a therapist so you should come see me one day. It looks like you need it. All that anger isn't good for you." Candice's eyes widened, Nik had to hold back his smile. "Did this human just speak to me? Tell her I don't speak damsel in distress."

Klaus sighed, tired of all this arguing that also amused him. But if Cami insulted Candice again he didn't think he could promise to keep her alive any longer. Insulting Candice was always someone's number one regret before their inevitable death. "Alright, enough, the both of you. Candy, be a dear and hold back your homicidal tendencies for a moment." Candice sighs, nodding slowly as she calmed herself down just a little bit.

"Thank you. Cami, this is Candice Parker, she's the one who's with my brother, Kol. She's family. Candice, this is Camille, I've told you about her before. I expect you to be kind and not kill her. Can you do that for me?" Candice crossed her arms, rolling her eyes as she agreed. Cami was quite surprised, recalling Klaus talking about Candice in their sessions quite often, though he always referred to her as "Candy" rather than her full name. "I remember you. You're in a ton of paintings, how could I forget?"

Candice smirked, "I've got an irresistible face, love. Pretty hard to forget."

Cami chuckles, nodding in reply. "Oh yeah, you're definitely a Mikaelson. Got all the character traits. Paranoid, angry, condescending, homicidal, attractive, old and powerful. Makes sense." Candice squinted her eyes, not sure if any of that could be taken as a compliment. Nevertheless, that wasn't important. She still needed to kill a witch. "Right, on the contrary, I didn't come to have a girl chat with my brother's therapist. I came to kill a witch. Now, where is the little brat?"

Klaus tensed, not sure how he should explain how he promised Camille the witches safety. "Candy, I can't let you do that. I made a promise no harm came to the girl. Do not make me break that promise, please." Candice tilt her head, raising a brow at this sudden change of behavior. "And who are you? Elijah? Why do you care about breaking promises?" She then began to notice the way Cami looked distressed when Candice threatened the life of the teenage witch.

A low chuckle escapes her lips, she scoffs loudly. "Didn't expect you of all people to go weak at a girl's affection. Nevertheless, you made a promise. I said no such thing." Candice marched up to the cabin as Cami pleaded for Klaus to do something. She marched up to the doorstep only Klaus suddenly sped behind her, grabbing her arms to restrain her. "Forgive me love. But I can't let you do that just yet." Klaus snaps her neck, the girl dropping to the floor as Cami let out a small gasp, no expecting that.

"I said talk to her and get through to her, not snap her neck! She's only gonna be even more pissed!" Cami exclaimed, leaning down to check on the girl. Klaus sighs, "this is the only way to get through to Candy. Trust me, it's for her own good. She's acting out on impulse. It's stupid and dangerous. I'll deal with her later. For now, you need to wake up the witch. I'll put Mikael in the car." Klaus walks over to his father and lifts him up, setting him in the trunk and shutting it closed.

Perhaps, Candice would understand, or not. Didn't make much of a difference for Klaus. He knew she would forgive him later on anyways.
