It's 1986 and life is still hard on Valentina. Still currently going through her own inner struggles, which she only keeps to herself, soon becomes too much.

That's usually what happens when someone has lost a loved one. And sometimes they're lucky enough to find their own anchor, to get them through it all.

However, life is full of unkept promises and the Alma girl didn't particularly plan to have the life she does. She also didn't voluntarily join the group in Hawkins who fights monsters, but she's just a girl who stuck her nose in research too far.

Luckily for her, is how she meets her soulmate and first love.
