#   .  Lorien Ahn was born in Glasgow, Scotland, into a unique family dynamic. His mother, a Scottish-Korean opera singer, and his father, a Korean-American music producer, were never married but maintained an on-and-off relationship throughout his childhood. Lorien spent much of his early years moving between the U.S. and Scotland, creating a complex upbringing that influenced his worldview. Though his mother hoped he would follow her path in opera, Lorien felt drawn to other forms of music and creative expression, which caused tension between them.

#   . From 6th to 10th grade, Lorien lived primarily in the U.S. with his father, attending schools in New York. His father, known for his laid-back and supportive nature, encouraged Lorien to explore different passions, from music to ballet. After completing his 10th-grade year, Lorien returned to Scotland to finish high school, reconnecting with his roots before embarking on his music career. Despite his mother's expectations, Lorien remained firm in his desire to carve out his own identity in the music industry.

#   . In 2021, after graduating from Juilliard in New York, Lorien moved to South Korea to pursue a career in K-pop. He initially trained under NC Entertainment for a year, then briefly under WVE Entertainment in 2021, before finally settling with Modhaus. His diverse experiences across continents helped shape his unique sound and artistic direction. Today, as a K-pop soloist, Lorien blends his Korean heritage and global influences into his music, standing out for his creative independence and deep connection to his craft.

͏★̲̅ !̷?̷ 𝐅𝐀𝐍 𝐅𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐒 ⁺◟

#   . Dimples : Lorien's dimples have become a fan-favorite feature for Valentines, especially since they don't get to see them often. His reserved demeanor means he doesn't smile much, particularly during live streams. However, when he does flash a grin, those dimples make a memorable appearance, capturing the hearts of fans and leaving them eager for more of his charming expressions. Which they often try to get him to smile and by often I mean a lot which does happens when they tell him jokes, especially dad jokes.

Voice : Lorien's accent has quickly become a standout feature. It's that perfect mix of Scottish and American, giving his speaking voice a unique charm. His accent makes even the simplest conversations feel warm and inviting, adding a personal touch that enhances his relatability. Plus, he's one of the few idols with such a distinctive accent, which makes it all the more intriguing.  #⠀

#   . Eye Smile : Just like with his smile, his eye smile is something that fans don't get to see often. When he smiles, his eyes become crescent-shaped, which fans love to see. It adds an extra layer of warmth to his expressions, making him feel approachable and genuine. This charming feature has a way of lighting up his whole face and drawing people in, which is the reason why Valentines love to see it.

#   . So many times Lorien's views on his own body has changed. From the time he was young he was always told to keep his body in shape and order to do what he wanted to do, especially when he was learning ballet. With ballet, he always had to be perfect in order to be perceived a certain way and so when he quit doing ballet, his view was kind of changed. He realized that his body is his body, which means he could do what he wanted to do with it even if that meant permanently, marking it which is his ex ballet teacher would call ruining his canvas.

As of October 20, 2024, Lorien has five tattoos and only two piercings in his ears. He has one lobe piercing in his right ear and one lobe piercing in his left ear, but he barely wears earrings as it is. For piercings no there will not be anymore unless he changes his mind but for tattoos hell yeah, there will be more tattoos, coming his way. Speaking of tattoos, his first tattoo was one he got in 2021 after one of his college classes because of the fact that he was bored which is located on his left forearm. His tattoo is of Gojo Satoru who had become a favorite of his after he had begun to read the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, which was released in the US, the year before. #⠀

#   . His second tattoo which he got in November 2021 just to have another tattoo and which is located on his left wrist. It is from one of his favorite moments in the manga of Chainsaw Man which he had begun reading that year as well. His third tattoo is located on his inner right forearm and he had gotten a tattoo in October of last year. This tattoo depicts a death tarot card with the iconic scream killer Ghostface which is one of if not his favorite horror movies. His last two tattoos he had gotten this year alone. His fourth tattoo he had gotten on the anniversary of his debut, which was also the day he gave his fandom their name which is Valentines, and so the heart dice represents his fandom. His fifth and final tattoo is one he got on October 15 of this year and it's the first ever tattoo he did on himself, which is surprising but it turned out well. There's no meaning behind it so there's that.

#   . Lorien's casual style is all about mixing vintage vibes with a soft boy aesthetic and some artsy flair. He loves oversized graphic tees and cozy knits, usually pairing them with high-waisted jeans or corduroy pants. The colors he picks are often soft pastels or earthy tones, which gives off a chill yet stylish feel. He likes to accessorize with beaded necklaces, chunky rings, and sometimes a cool hat to complete the look. For shoes, he switches between classic sneakers and loafers, keeping it comfy and casual. Overall, his style really captures his creative personality and laid-back attitude.

The neutral and muted tones—like gray, black, and olive—create a relaxed yet functional vibe. For footwear, he sticks to classic sneakers, perfect for both dancing and working out. He'll often mix in a lightweight jacket or track jacket if it gets cooler, keeping the look sporty and minimal while still maintaining his signature style.
