It's been 5 weeks since I and Tyler had that very enraging outburst in class, and ever since then I have finally been able to handle my outburst especially with him, infact as crazy as it seems I find this strange comfort talking to him. Last night, we talked straight up into the midnight, talking about out group project of course, get your mind out of the gutter dearest reader, it's not what you think.

Anyway, as regards the project we were talking about, we were a group of 6 and I was the leader; yep, I was done pushing this leadership responsibility to someone else, and so far so good with me taking the leader and Tyler playing the assistant... he isn't so bad, the group project wasn't so bad either, we ended up getting a B+ on the project, which to me who isn't after straight A, we did a pretty decent job.

The project was about interviewing one of our lecturers, and get him to talk about a trending topic on campus. which we all worked on successfully. Of course, I made sure to keep my Insta fans updated every two weeks, especially at the last party that we all went to, I made sure to go live. "Korra jeez you and zoning out these days,"  Tyler said calling my attention and I smiled at him before responding. "Sorry about that, I was thinking of our next project."

He chuckled saying "Is it the one they have given us?, or the one they will give us in the future?, because the way you're all academic ehn someone will think you don't party."  I just laughed and shook my head at him, slightly pushing him off before he said "Oh and for the record I am glad we are really connecting out there on the stage." And for some unknown reason I blushed and not the normal unnoticeable type nope... Before I could control it, the heat rose up my cheeks 10 times higher as I said. "Yeah, you know I feel like the two of us have been connecting really well out of the stage too." If only I knew he was going to be awkward about it.

"Umm yea, sure" he said and it kinda made me regret what I was already saying. "So, I was thinking we should spend time together" I said but his response was stiffer than I expected as he chuckled saying "We've been spending lots of time together", I understood what he meant but that wasn't what I was referring too so I had to be more direct yet discreet "I mean outside of school where we are not doing a group project or studying for a test." He looked at me with a raised eyebrow, he looked away from me, finally connecting the dots and a hint of blush on his fair skin. He must have finally realized because of how hard I was blushing.

"I don't know, Oliva and I..." He started to say but I didn't care at all I took the bull by the horn blurting out "Look!  I really like you and I think we were meant for each other!" He froze looking at me and I also froze like my life was on the line here, because me abruptly blurting that out got the attention of literally everyone in class, thankful the lecturer had taken her leave. He noticed the market square of the class we were in was now as quiet as a graveyard.  He just abruptly stood up packed our things that is my things and his because we were sitting together.

He pulled me from my sit and kept pulling me till we were well away from prey eyes and ears. He finally took a deep breath and gave me my things before saying, "Korra I am really sorry, but I just don't feel the same way about you. Besides I don't go around dating my sister's friends." He said not only breaking my heart but ripping it into shreds. Not wanting to break down in front of him, I just said "forget I ever said anything."  I said walking away, practically running away. The readers were right, I am still secretly obsessed with Tyler... Fuck.

I better pull myself together, the dumb parent teachers conference was 3hour from now, and my mom's sister who was coming around to represent I and my twin sister parents was going to be worried if she saw a stay of tear. I just couldn't help it though as I played the song, NO Reason by Rayn.B on my way home.

Finally, some alone time I thought to myself; yes, in case you are wondering I have finally been able to resolve the friendship tension that was going on between I, Molly and Antonio. It was a tad but stressful, slightly toxic but I was able to finally understand her reason and now that I am thinking about it, I can't really remember because that was three weeks ago. I think it was around needing emotional closure because sometimes, Antonio wasn't emotionally available enough.

Anyway, we were back to being all buddy buddy by the time Zoe came back. To my surprise she was back with a lot of souvenirs, turns out Joel actually showed up to surprise her taking her and Serenity on a date. Cute, too bad Jayson could never learn from him, it's so annoying though; he was the one that asked me to be his girlfriend and now this is how he chose to treat me. We have been dating for two years, and because our relationship is on a break he didn't even bother to call or text me. Heck, he doesn't even know if I am alive or not.

My phone vibrated, I looked at it and it was a message from Jayson saying he wants to come over, I didn't even know what to say to him because it's been over two months since I last heard from him and now, he is just breezing into my dm like no we have not been giving each other the silent treatment since. I sigh wondering if I should give him an audience or not. After an hour of me animating a new character and completing ignoring his calls and messages... I finally answered his dm saying "What do you want?"

"I am at your door, please open up." He responded immediately and I replied his dm saying "did I say you should come over? did I give you go ahead? you are lucky I am actually home today, if not you would sleep outside." I took my time to pause what I was doing on my laptop before heading to the door to open it for him. He was dressed in my favorite color with a money bouquet as peace offering. I looked at him then at the flower in his hand.

Oooh premium bribery and corruption

My subconscious mind said and I just laughed it off saying "what's all this for?" I asked when he came inside to sit down in the sitting room. My sister was around but fast asleep with her daughter, so I felt safe just in case he decided to move mad. "Do you want it or not." he asked feeling irritated by my question. I just collected it, and kept it aside.

After a while of awkwardly staring at each other, he said "what happened to us?" I folded my arms and crossed my leg saying "you tell me... I'm not the one who put me on the illusion that you were genuinely in love with me" he sigh and said "I am not here to fight you Chloe, it's the last thing I came here for?" I also heave a sigh before taking my leave to the kitchen. This is going to be a long conversation; one I am not prepared for.

I came back with snacks and water. Now more mentally prepared for the conversation; I hope we don't choke on the snacks or the conversation, and if one of us should, I hope it's him because there is no way we are going to just avoid talking about the elephant in the room and just go back to being all lovey dovely after the two months silent treatment/break.

This was much better than the dumb parent teachers meeting they wanted to do, when it's not like I am not topping my class. "I'm back with drinks and snacks, so let's talk" I said, even though I would much rather be in my room finishing up my 3D animated character. It's Friday for pit's sake, I should be out partying or 3Ding not talking to my toxic soon to be ex-boyfriend.

Finally, a little breathing space. I thought as I relaxed in my room. It was Friday and for some strange reasons we didn't have class. You have no idea how happy I am that I have done all my outstanding projects. I got a call from Korra few minutes after I had breakfast, she was telling me about the parent visits. Knowing the situation we left at home, we knew our mom wasn't coming around.

Our mom was bedridden... And it was all because of the bastard she married. Sigh, that's a story for another day; what matters now was that our unmarried aunt was the one coming to our school for parent teacher visit. That's what Korra called to inform me about I sighed for the umpteenth time and Sauda spoke up.

"You good Nora? That's an awful long sigh." I sighed against and she chuckled making me giggle in response finally responding saying "Omo I'm good ooo; it's just I am glad we finally finish all the projects they were dumping on our head." I said not moving from my bed.

I was top bunk while she was also lying on her bed... lower bunk. "Do you ever wish you could choose your parents?" I asked and I heard a little shuffling before she spoke. "Well... that depended on the context, why do you ask?" She said and I just shrugged only to remember she can't see me. "No reason" I didn't say anything again until she said "is it because of the parents-teacher visit?" She asked and I reacted

"Yeah, like what is up with that? Wait do you have someone coming from your family?" I asked and she went quiet for a while before saying "no, no one in my family cares enough to show up as long we don't bring home bad grades, we are good." I mouthed an "o" shape before realizing that she couldn't see me so I had to say something- "that's understanding I guess..."

I said shortly after we heard the loud yawn of Skyler who just work up from her long nap. She had a class early this morning she needed to rush out for and according to her schedule she was due for another one in 30mins. "What are you guys taking about?" She asked snapping me out of my thoughts. "Oh, it's just the whole parents-teacher thing jare. That thing so last season... It's giving secondary school vibe." Sauda said beating me to it.

Skyler chuckle and said, "I know right, it's so last season, but my mom is coming sha. She had been dying to see the school that had been showing me shege. How about you guys?" She asked getting down from her top bunk. Yea... We found a way to retain our rooms in 200 level, but the school did a little switching up, so we had a different roommate. Sauda sister is our new roommate. I had no ideas she was also in the same departments as Chloe and Skyler. "Us, please" Sarayuna said yawning loudly. She was also fast asleep and was just waking up.

"Abegi, as long as we don't fail or do something illegal enough to get our parents attention then we are good. Our papa no send us ooo" she said leaving the room with her boobs on display. Makes me wonder if she wasn't going for the same class as Chloe; "As for me someone is coming, but I wish the person won't bother. I just hoped this is the last parents-teacher whatever that we get to have" I said after a while the room was quiet and Sarayuna entered the room and it occurred it me.

"Ah ah Skyler, how far Luthando nah" I and Sauda asked at the same time. Like we were having a twin telepathy moment. Sarayuna was new to the drama so she was quiet as she watched us converse so as to not ask stupid questions. "Tch! Abegi abegi abegi, dead that guy jare! Person one use emotional blackmail pin me down. E no know say I be hot babe." I just laughed at her statement giggling while Sauda asked

"So what happened, did you guys iron it out?" She looked at us again and hissed saying " person way I don block delete him number. Iron what? Lol Abegi me I have moved on. Single Pringle." She said wearing her round neck tee-shirt. After adjusting herself in the mirror of our room before she picked up her purse that contained her essentials "woo I no leave una. Sarayuna bye bye oh" she said heading out opening the door. I couldn't suppress my laughter and as Sarayuna said running after her
" wait for me, I have little legs"

Little kwa, someone that is taller than me and I am 5foot 6 inches. "Chaii! I had no idea Skyler ended things with Luthando. Oo poor thing, she much be heart broken." I said standing up from my bed and Sauda laughed saying "heartbroken? Nah I doubt it, someone that was busy kissing a boy at that party we all attended last." I was shocked as I thought whoa, she rebounded pretty quickly. "Well, I'm happy for her, she is back in the streets like us." I said before and Sauda hummed in response picking up her phone. Only for her to scream at the sight of something she saw. A video of Tyler doing what adults do best.

Omo I don't even know what to say at this point. Here I was thinking that Tyler's sexapade was going to be swept under the Carpet. 🫠🫠
