I sang the lyrics of my very first original. My eye on the only pride I brought along with me, Olivia. Her smile was the only fuel I needed to keep singing even though noone else was listening to me.

"...You would never go broke or  hungry,
I'll be there and let you know you'll always have me. You are, the one thing standing of me right now ..."

Her smile only got broader as her eyes peiced into my soul lovingly, I bless the day I called her mine because in that very day I knew our souls align. She was the best thing that happened to me and I am so happy our path crossed.

After singing the chorus of the song two more times I ended the song on a high note taking a bow. The moderator came back to the mic saying  "thank you very much for the beautiful uplifting melody from the cosmic 5. All the way from O.A.U! Give it up for them guys... Now next up on our agenda--"

I didn't bother listen to the rest of his speech, I mean why should i. I was still with the most beautiful woman in the world for a 3 days Christmas cruise heading to God knows where. how blessed could I possibly be I thought as I stared  into the deep brown orbs of the my Queen of my heart, Olivia Chinoyen Da-Silver.

Her natural hair was packed into a slick bun using packing gel to hold it in place, her face had no makeup on yet she was stunning. She was dressed in a simple yet elegant off shoulder high split long dress. "You should take a picture, it'll last longer" she whispered that part so close to my ears before planting a loving kiss on my checks.

I vibrated

"Damn... Who would have thought--" I stopped her mid sentence with my index finger on her lips. "Let's go somewhere more private" I stated and winked at her. Her cheek hinted red and I smiled entwining our hands as we headed to our boot. I am sure you are wondering why I am a million miles away from my twin on a cruise ship, well it's simple.

I took up the offer to join the cosmic 5; the only band that is well known in the whole school. They occasionally perform in the famous school cafeteria 707 and sometimes they perform at The Splash too. Long story short I joined their gang and I never regret it. I bring in new lines of lyrics every other day and we all work on it during band practice turning it into a song.

I also handle our social media page making sure I post more content especially our behind the scenes content. Our fans love those. So once they told me that one of our fans was having a Christmas cruise ship and they wanted us to perform, there was no way we could say no to that especially because we could all bring our plus one. Obviously Olivia was my go to plus one; I'd be crazy not to bring her.

"Babe you've been staring, are you even paying attention to what I am saying?" damn that's what happens when you are dating a beauty... You completely forget the subject of conversation and focus on the beauty. I chuckled biting the inside of my cheeks out of nervousness, yes I was nervous because we were now alone and I am not sure I could keep my hands to myself -- even though this was my idea I am starting to regret it.

"I'm so sorry, I just can't concentrate when a beauty like yourself is staring right back at me." She chuckled smacking my chest and I capture her hands making sure it remain on my chest. I'm sure she could feel how fast my heart was racing, and it was racing just for her. "whoa." she breathed out when she noticed I won't let go of her hand. "Your heart, it's beating really fast" she noted and I smile, my eyes not leaving hers as I said.

"Just for you." she blushed harder and that made me reaffirm my statement. "My heart beats just for you." she smiled closing the gap between us as our foreheads connected in a lovingly manner.

In that moment something dropped in my mind. I smirked trying to imagine her facial expression and reaction to the statement. Regardless it was worth the shot deciding to say what dropped in my mind.

"Hey Olivia, you know... God commands us to be fruitful and multiply. What do you say?" I asked her finally disconnecting our foreheads. My eyes never living hers, my smile still showing off my perfect dentition. I watch as her lip twitched a little before breaking into a million dollar smile, her cheeks were tinted red and I could see it even though she managed to cover them with her hands.

"This is what I live for Olivia, making you smile." she blushed even harder pulling me into a hug hiding her face in the crock of my neck. Her breath felt hot on my skin and it was doing things to my head. I pulled her closer planting a slow loving kiss at the nape of her neck. I hear her whisper for the first time in our 3months relationship

"...I love you Tyler..."

It was the dawn of another beautiful weekend in Olawale Ateredolu University and I was bubbly with excitement. actually scratched I was bubbling with excitement because get to do what I love the most on my favorite day of the year. that right it was finally Christmas day and I was in Nora's room  ready to design it making look as pretty as mine, much to their new roommates protest. who give two fuck about that bitch Chika, bitch is as heartless as what I don't know.

Ever since I came her to do 2 days sleep over so I could spend time with my twin--, I know weird but we are never part from each other especially two nights before Christmas. But that is beside the point, this babe called Chika I don't know when she moved in but for someone that moved in as an after thought before exam, she sure acts like she own the room or something. Ani I put water in the bathroom to have my bath last night naso this babe go use am wash clothe both the water inside and the bucket itself she used both and didn't even bother to fill it up back.

Hmmm. I chose not to talk about it, I jejely went back downstairs to fetch another water to bath which i used immediately to avoid stories that touch. I am still waiting for the time she will cross part with while I am still here God know I will show no mercy. Wo the drama will not finish today and since today is Christmas day it will make it even more sweeter. She will forever be remembered as the highlight of the 2022 Christmas drama in this hall

"sis you have been smiling at your phone all morning. Hope nothing" I asked stretching. My hands in the air, we were both wrapped up in a duvet on her top bunk. I checked the time on my phone and saw it was 9am already. " my friend will you drop that phone, have you prayed this morning that you are pressing phone? See today is Jesus birthday you better drop that phone and let's pray and wish him happy birthday." I cautioned her and she grumbled in response to before putting the phone away and finally sitting up.

Since when did my sister start grumbling when we need to pray. Usually that is my que, I should be the one doing the grumbling. Hmmm something is fishy I looked at her with a questioning look and she just shrugged it off before singing a worship song. I decided to drop it and focus on what we have at hand which was our morning devotion at the moment.

Our singing and clapping ending up walking Skyler up and she decided to join us. She got down from her top bunk and because of her blessed height she was able to climb the bed and join us in one swing. We sang, read the open heaven and pray for about 20mins before bringing the prayer to a close.

"Omo.like play like play we are celebrating Jesus birthday on campus." I commented expecting my twin to back me up. Little did I know that I was talking to thin air and she was back on her phone. Even skyler that I expected to say something was also on her phone giggling at some funny video I persume. "Nora its like I will cease your phone oo. You've just been ignoring me and pressing phone  ever since you came back  from that Christmas dinner." I complained folding my hands across my chest.

"no vex dear, I was watching one video ni. How are you, I hope I didn't sqeez you too much on this small bed that we shared?" I smiled, now that the twin sister I know and love, I was about to respond but skyler beat me to it saying. " afi video nor ni, ma pairoo buruku ni be. Better confess to your sister that you've found man!" my eyes and ears immediately expanded. Did I hear right? Did she just say my sisters has a man? Whao just whao gawd when?

I looked at my sisters but she was longer at my side. Instead she was beating Skyler and trying to cover her month at that. "whoa, just whoa, our sisterhood in the mud." she rushed back to my side trying to convince me saying "Sis don't listen to her, don't mind her she is lying. Well not really but still you know I tell you everything." That kinda made me relax because it's true, there has been no secrets between us as far as I am concerned.

" oh! so you are not denying that there is a man in the picture huh. Pray tell, who is it? " I asked with a smirk on my lips getting curious. I wanna know who has the audacity to get my twin smiling like that. She simply groan out loud waking both her bunkmate and skyler bunk mate at the same time.

" sorry---- but truth be told, I won't really call him My Man. I mean yea he threw a pick up line at me during that dinner party and I immediately threw him my number... But we ain't on that level yet sis" she said apologize to her roommate before explaining to me. The huge smile on her lips and the face that was turning red was telling me a difference story. "Who? is it that fine boy Mayowa that collected your number at the Christmas dinner? " Sauda jumped in questioning Nora and before I could open my mouth to talk, Nora glared at her commenting though gritten teeth. "Not. help.Ing !"

I just buster into laugher saying  "Whal sis, you dey amaze me come collect Maze. So if Sauda didn't talk now , that how I won't know his name." She only groan out loud in more frustration stomping her foot on the ground, this was definitely cute. It's not everyday you get to see a lawyer in training aka Nora struggle with words so much. She was still trying to explain herself when chika decided to moving mad by commenting and saying something really stupid. "abegi! abegi! abegi! Una noise done dey too much oo. Wetin, shey nah this place be your papa house way you go dey shout like Olosho."

At first I was going to roughen it up and look away since  it was my last night here. in as much as I promised drama --if she asked for it, I didn't want to start the day on a high drama filled note. But then again she just called us Olosho whao, just whao , it was in that moment that I decided to this babe, this child that is forming bad dish, she has officially fucked up. I jumped down from the bed and walked up to her, squatting to her lower bunk , I said " oh I am so sorry, Marry Mandalin I didn't quite hear you over the ugly mole digging a hold at the corner of your lips."

She gasped out of  shock because not only did I insult her I jabbed her personality. With a small smirk on my face I gave her another  blow. "oh and about us being Olosho, you might want to retack that statement, because it's basically pot calling kettle black. I am sure your course adviser would agree to that, seeing as thats the only reason why you are still on school property. So you can be closer to your sugar Daddy. Oh I mean course adviser" she was perplexed and my smirk only got broader. Her whole face became pale, her eye went inside in fear like she just saw a ghost.

"h...h...how did... Y... Y... You know?" I chuckle and looked away from her briefly before saying. "I'm a Mass Communications student remember." my eye still on her challenging her in a death glare before completing my statement "And this cute little nose of mine, is perfect for sniff out dirty secrets like yours. Hmm I'll bet that pastor Mrs and Mr Aguta won't be too happy about the news. " she gasped again, not believing that I knew who her parent were.

I chuckled once more covering my mouth like I just said something funny. I got up abruptly heading back to Nora's bed but I stopped I'm my track. I turned my face slightly to look at her, she was visibly shaking sweet dripping from all corners of her face I smirked and looked away before saying "I would watch my attitude and language from now on if I were you. Who know you just might get popular... For the wrongs reason."

She yelped and ran of the room at that statement and I chuckled in an evil way to give a desired effect I stopped shortly after like nothing happened as I went backs to Nora's bed. "omo, that was intense. " sauda Commented and I shrugged it off. I've been meaning that babe since I got here, she just decided to go over board by calling is hoes, Oh wrong naw. " I want to say I pity her but then again I don't. Babe has no empathy at all plus she had it coming." Skylar commented happy that I finally put Chika in her place. Something she has been finding difficult to achieve.

"Abeg it Christmas day lets design this room small. Korra shey you borough your DIY kits right" Nora asked changeing the subject all of a sudden like I didn't just threaten someone few minutes ago.  "Calm down joor shey we not go baff and chop first? Me I dey H oo!" I commented heading to where our bucket were. I really need a warm bath and some food before I start designing anything.

drama was up to no end indeed.we Just returned I to the room in out bathing towel  when some girls started shoting "who stole my bra"  I am new to this hostel so it came as a shock to me.  "Ehh kiniyen? So they still undies in your hotel Nora and you didn't tell me." she chuckled and shook head before Skyler responded saying "every day something must get miss in this hotel and its always your undies. Only gawd know how pant you spread will disappear within 1hour of spreading.

Whether the person is wearing it oh or he is using It for money ritual, it's only God knows." I sighed really shocked by this. Just as I was about to process this new information about my sister's hostel we hear the person yell again. " who stole my bra ooo, biko help me return it to the wire, Nah my date bra be that abegi."

I didn't know if we should cry or laugh at the person. I couldn't even laugh because my twin is living here and it could be her turn next. " who stole my bra ooo abeg I get date tomorrow, make una no falling hand nah, no do me like this." now I am currios I wanted to know who this person was and was she the only one this was happing to " Nora. Please promise me you won't ever be in this girl shoes" she just laughed it off as she got dressed in a joggers and matching Merry Christmas joggers and hoddie with me.

" wait nooo, nope, nahhuh, you two aren't twining up when my twin is  somewhere on a cruise ship eye fucking his babe." skyler complained immediately. And that made us laugh at her as we decided to wear something different. I went for a blue long sleeve turtle neck with maroon colored dungarees, my twin went for a white off shoulder cardigan with blue trouser, sauda went for a great round neck cardigan with black skirt , and skyler went for a brown top and a checkered skirt to go with it.  In that moment chika finally entered dripping with water an a towel around her body.

When did she enter to grab her towel? I thought but I didn't duel on it because a lousy knock on the door drew my attention away from her. "Yes come in?"
I said as I settled down on Sauda's bed whoever was at the other end of the door and didn't think twice before rushing in like she was being changed. " ejo emabinu. Don't be annoyed, Nah my bra I dey fine. Pls it you help me see it, it's Maron color please 45B, I'm in B303, My name is Ashayemi" she said and not long after her voice rang through the whole hall way yelling. "Who stole my bra oo!!! This is the 115th time this is happening in this  hostel and its not amusing any more."

My eyes became as wide as a saucer, 115th time? Whao this is shocking was she actually counting how many times this is happening to her or she is exaggerating. It had better be the latter, but even though regardless upon still, them too dey steal for this hostel, it remain small make them steal person join. " but wait oo Nora it had only been 5 months and they have already stolen 115times I'm this hostel. How naw?" I just had to ask her because this was the first time I am witnessing this. Things like this don't happen in my hostel at all so it's just shocking. I mean we weren't in the hostel when the bra got missing so why the hell should we know where it is.

" welcome my dear sister to Haluya Hall of Queens, when stealing and endless drama is the order of the day ." Nora said as she skyler and sauda clapped at that. I just rolled my eyed at that before saying " you guys should sha be careful don't let them still your things. Abegi sauda help us order noodles down stairs this hungry dey turn my eyes." I said and she immediately got to work on that in 30 mins she came back to thr room with 4 takeaway packs of noodles and egg. We quickly ate it  while looking through some DIY designed. They eventual settled on something simple yet classy so I went with it and got to work.

"Omo you guys the last test we did wasn't funny oo." sauda said, she and skyler were the only ones helping me out in designing their room. Nora on the other hand was on Saudas bed married to her phone the whole time. " it's like they didn't want anyone to do well in the test or something." I complained and sauda hummed in response pining the Christmas light to the wall.  " boya you people did not prepare well for it. Because mind wasn't so difficult actually." sauda and I just glared at her in   response before resuming what I was doing. We were already almost done it was just a few finishing touches we needed to add

After adding a few collage design and pictures to make a small heart shape. I put a clock in the middle. It too time but I was still able to achieve the simple yet click look for the room. I plug the Christmas light handing around the room as it came to life in different colours. I attached some branches of fake leaves directly to the wall and under the Christmas light. The final light was a dull pink and purple light which I screwed to each side of the wall while the flurisent light stayed in the middle. While I stepped back to look at what I have done so far  Nora finally spoke saying  "ohhh I hear the Babajide's are preparing something spicy for tonight's  festivity. we should probably go over."

With displeasure in my tone and a mocking grimace on my face I replied " says the girl that has been glued to her phone all day." she finally looked away from her phone and spared me a glance. I expected  her to move from her position to at least admire what I had done so far to her room. Instead she chuckle and went back to her phone.  I sighed in annoyances almost yanking the phone from her but I decided to calm down saying " Nora put that phone away if you are not going to invite that boy you've been chatting with all day to come with us."
