Hey guys, here is the brand new chapter of this book. I was quite satisfied with the response of last chapter, so here is an early update

Nandini looked at Manik nervously as he was standing so close to her that she could feel their breaths mingling with each other. Her heartbeat was raising as well with his closeness. "Manik, see it won't be good. I'm saying. Move away from here." Nandini managed to mutter gulping down her saliva. 

"Why it won't be good?" He raised his eyebrows.

"See I....." She couldn't say anything further as Manik moved his face closer to her.

"What? You what?" He uttered huskily.

Manik and Nandini were still standing close to each other when Ankita came there with snacks for them. She was shocked seeing Manan in that position. Manik also left Nandini with a jerk as he heard the sound and Nandini too moved away from Manik.

Ankita was out of words seeing them. She was not able to understand what to say. So, keeping the tray, she left from there. Nandini who was already nervous, seeing her mother there, she got more nervous.

Nandini glared at Manik.

Manik looked down. "I am sorry, Nandini."

"Don't know what mumma must be thinking of us." Nandini bit her lips in nervousness. 

Manik tried to calm her down where he himself was feeling terrible. "Okay relax, Nandini. She won't think of anything, she will understand."

Nandini glared at him. "What relax? Do you even have any idea in which state she caught us? That wasn't normal." 

"You are getting worried unnecessarily. No matter how she has seen us, we were not doing anything wrong. Then why are you taking it so seriously?"   

Nandini didn't wait there anymore nor did she look at him. She just ran away from there. Manik also came out of the room behind her and went back to their house.

"Don't know what mumma must be thinking of us. I'm feeling ashamed even going in front of her. She must be taking our closeness in a wrong way. Let's do one thing, for now I will go to Alya's place, then I won't have to face her. Yes, I will come home later." Nandini thought in mind.

Nandini was going out of her room when Ankita came there.

"Nandini, where are you going? And where is Manik? I got snacks for him and he left without having them."

Nandini thought in mind."Manik has left without having anything? Maybe I have told a little too much to him today. I got really angry today. But what to do he was also doing all this." She made a bad face unknowingly.

"Nandini, where are you lost?" Ankita shook Nandini a little breaking her trance.

Nandini nodded her head. "Nowhere, mom. I'm going to meet Alya. I will talk to you later." Saying this Nandini ran away from there. She didn't give Ankita any chance to say anything.

Nandini came to Malhotra's place and was looking here and there for Manik. But she failed to spot him anywhere. She was busy in her own world when Alya came from behind and wrapped her hand around Nandini's neck from back. Nandini got startled with the sudden hug.

"What's this, Alya? How can you scare me like this?" Nandini glared at her turning her face a little backwards to face Alya.

"You got scared in this only? By the way where were you? I was looking for you from so long."

"I went to home. I need to meet Pari."

"Okay." Alya nodded her head. "How is her exam going on?"

"It's going good."

"By the way, were you looking for someone? I saw looking here and there." Alya teased Nandini.

"I.. I.. N.... No... No.." Nandini stammered.

"Yes, you."

Nandini nodded her head. "No... I wasn't."

Alya nodded her head faking an oh face. "I was thinking maybe you were looking for Manik. Actually I had seen him that's why I was asking. It's okay. I was just leaving."

Alya started leaving from there but Nandini hugged her from behind. Alya smiled at her antics. "What did you think? If you won't tell me anything, then I won't know anything?"

"Sorry..." Nandini uttered cutely. "I thought I don't deserve him. He deserves someone better. I am not the perfect one for him." She said in a low tone.

"What are you saying, Nandini?"

"Nothing. Forget it. Tell me where is Manik?" Her ears turned a little pink as she asked of Manik.

"Ummmm.... Let me think." She pretended to be thinking keeping her finger on her chin. Then winked at Nandini. "Your hero is in his room only."

"But how will I go to his room?" Nandini uttered nervously. 

Alya frowned hearing her. "What do you mean by how you will go? It's only Manik."

"But..."

Alya kept her hand on Nandini's shoulder. "Nandini, everything is fair in love. and here you are getting scared only in going to his room?"  

"What if he thinks something wrong?"

Alya faked an angry look. "You will go or not?" 

"Okay... Okay... I'm going. Why are you getting angry?" Nandini pouted looking damn adorable.

Nandini took a long breath and went upstairs and stood in front of Manik's room. She was not able to gather courage to enter in his room.

"I don't know what Manik will think seeing me here. What will I don? I have no idea what I should tell him. But I have to say sorry to him. I have spoken a lot today." Nandini was thinking all this standing there.

Thinking all this in mind, Nandini knocked the door. After a few seconds, Cabir came and opened the door. Seeing Nandini, a naughty smirk appeared in his face. He started teasing her.

Cabir faked as if he is really surprised seeing Nandini there. "Nandini!!! You are here!!! What a surprise!!!"

Nandini was scared but gathering all the courage she replied, "Yes, me. Why? Can't I come here?"

Hearing Nandini's voice Aryaman also came there.

"Nandini? You? Have you come here to meet Manik? But he is not here."

Nandini raised her eyebrows hearing him. "Really? Move. Ler me check."

Nandini pushed Aryaman a little and entered into Manik's room only to find him laying on the bed. Manik got surprised seeing Nandini there. He got up and sat on the bed.

"Ok Manik... We are leaving. I guess you have some important visitor now." Cabir teased both of them.

Manik abruptly nodded his head. "Umm okay ."

"Cabir, come fast. What are you doing? Don't you understand anything?" Aryaman smiled naughtily.

Then Cabir and Aryaman left from there laughing among themselves closing the door behind.

Manik was still looking at Nandini. Whereas Nandini was stealing gaze of Manik. Whenever her eyes fell on Manik's, she would turn her gaze down.

"Nandini, what are you doing here? Do you have any work with me?"

"Why are you so surprised? Can't I come here?" She threw a glare at him. 

Manik got down from the bed and his hands were stuffed inside his pocket. God! he was looking so handsome.

Manik came in front of her and stood close to Nandini. "Why? Were you missing me?" He muttered huskily.

Manik bent a little down to match Nandini's level. She was still looking down. Manik slide his finger from her forehead to her cheek then to her chin. Nandini closed her eyes feeling the moment. She started blushing.

Manik came to Nandini's back. He moved her hairs from back to one shoulder. He came near Nandini's ear and whispered more huskily, "Can I kiss you?"

Nandini came out of her trance. She opened her eyes with a jerk and pushed Manik a little away from her.

"Calm down, Nandini. There is nothing to hurry. You can take your own time. I'm not gonna force you for anything."

Nandini ran towards the door and was about to go out when Manik came from back and again closed the door.  Nandini turned towards Manik. Her back was touching the door and Manik was so close to her that she was not able to move even a little.

"I am not done yet. You can't leave till the time I am done."

Nandini gulped down her saliva. "What do you want to say more?"

"Why had you come here in my room?"

Manik's closeness was creating a havoc inside Nandini. She was not able to think straight.

"To say sorry to you?"

Manik was surprised with the new found information. "Seriously?"

Manik laughed and moved a little away from Nandini. Taking it as an opportunity, Nandini just ran away from there. Nandini couldn't stop blushing.

Manik shouted from back. "Careful, Nandini. You will fall again." 

Nandini came to Alya's room. She was huffing and still blushing.

"What happened, Nandini? Your cheeks have turned all red like tomatos. What's the matter?" Alya asked looking at Nandini's puffed cheeks.

Nandini looked down nodding her head. "Nothing."

Alya chuckled. "I know everything. You don't need to tell me."

After dinner Nandini came and slept with Alya. Time to time Alya was checking, if Nandini was asleep or not. When she found that Nandini is in deep sleep, she got up and went out of the room.
