Next morning everyone were having there breakfast. Nandini too was there. She didn't notice Manik came from behind and whispered, "My reply???" Nandini got startled with the sudden whisper.

Manik went and sat in front of Nandini winking at her.

Mukti who was sitting there noticed the little moment between Manik and Nandini and how can she let such a chance go from her hand to tease them. "Manik, what were you saying to Nandini? Tell us also. We also want to know." A wicked smile came to her face.

Manik rolled his eyes looking at her. "What's there for you to hear? You are going to be out of this place tomorrow only. If you are interested in hearing about that, then we can speak of it." He passed a tight lipped smile to her.

Mukti gritted his teeth seeing him. "I hate you."

Manik smiled softly seeing her face. "I will miss you."

Mukti threw a sad look towards him. "No, you won't. Mom..." She called for Bhavna.

Bhavna came there hearing Mukti's shout, "What happened? Why are you shouting like this?"

"Mom, ask your loving son to stay away from me. I don't want to see his face in my whole life." Mukti glared at him.

Manik made an innocent face. "Chachi, I didn't do anything. I was only saying that she will leave us tomorrow and she became emotional."

"You all are unbelievable." Bhavna left from there nodding her head in disbelief. She knew they will solve it in a minute only.

Mukti too went away from there.

"What was the need of saying all this to Mukti di early in the morning? She became so emotional." Nandini said seeing Mukti leaving. She was also emotional thinking Mukti will leave.

"Why are you getting emotional?" Manik noticed the change in her expression. He moved close to her face. "She is getting emotional as she will have to go but you will be here only. So, don't get emotional thinking of this."

Nandini bit her lower lip and bent her head downwards to hide the blush on her face.

Manik winked at Nandini. Nandini looked down to hide her blush.

At afternoon
Nandini came to her home.

"Pari......." She was surprised seeing her sister there in home.

"What happened?" Pari stood in front of her with full attitude.

"I was going to pick you up from school. But how did you come here?" Nandini asked.

"Manik bhaiya got me here. He is s good." She is already the fan of her Manik bhaiya. It says right no one can ignore Manik Malhotra's charm.

"Ohh..." Nandini nodded her head.

"You don't need to pick me from school anymore."

Nandini frowned. "Why?"

"Manik bhaiya has told that from now on he will drop and pick me from school."

Nandini smiled.

"Di, do you snore?"

"What! Who said this to you?" Nandini threw a sharp glare to Pari.

Pari laughed which gave her the answer.

Nandini realized who is it. Her blood boiled with his thought only. "Where is he?" He asked in an angry tone.

"Manik bhaiya is talking to mumma."

Nandini moved towards hall angrily. She saw Ankita and Manik talking and laughing on something. It was Manik who noticed her first. "Nandini, come here. Why are you standing there?"

"What?"

Manik pulled Nandini and made her sit beside him.

"Aunty, you tell me how are we looking together?" Manik asked with a smile wrapping his one arm around Nandini's shoulder.

"Out of the world. I will pray that God keeps both of you together always." Ankita smiled seeing them. 

Manik looked at Nandini and she looked down blushing forgetting all her anger.

Suddenly Manik's phone started buzzing but he cut the call.

Nandini asked Manik through eyes why didn't he pick up the call?

Manik assured her it was not important.

Nandini smiled.

"You both grew up so soon. It still feels that it's tomorrow only when you both used to play here all day."

Again a call came in Manik's phone and the expression on his face changed again.

"Excuse me."

Manik got up from there and went a little away to receive the call.

After a few minutes Nandini also went there and stood beside Manik. Seeing Nandini cut the call and told that he would talk later.

"Whose call was it?"

"One of my friends from London."

Nandini nodded her head.

"Nandini, what happened?" Manik asked seeing Nandini. She was not looking joyful like always.

Nandini looked at Manik in a straight face. "Manik, is everything okay? Is there something bothering you?"

Manik came close to Nandini and cupped her face lovingly. "Why are you getting worried, Nandini? Everything is okay. Relax. Don't worry. I'm there to look after everything."

"I know. I know you are there and you will look after everything. Still there is something. I feel something is not okay. I'm getting some strange vibe."

Manik slowly kissed on Nandini's both cheek. "Now is everything okay?"

"Hmm..." Nandini blushed a little.

Suddenly they felt the cold breeze which indicates that it's going to rain.

"I think it's going to rain. I'm going home. Aren't you coming?" Manik asked.

"You go, I will come later."

"Okay. But don't make me wait for long. Also it's henna ceremony today. You are going to apply also."

Nandini passed a soft smile to Manik. "Hmm..."

"Okay. I'm leaving."

Nandini nodded. Manik hugged Nandini and then started leaving. Nandini was looking at his retreating figure and some unknown fear raised in her heart seeing him going away from her. It felt he was actually leaving from her life.

Nandini held her heart tightly. "Till now whenever Manik used to come near me, my heart used to beat so fast. But for the first time, it's beating faster when he is going away. I don't know why I'm feeling so uneasy. This feeling....." Nandini thought in mind.

Someone came from back and placed her hand on Nandini's shoulder. Nandini's body stiffened with the sudden touch. She turned and sighed in relief finding it to be Ankita.

"Mumma."

"Nandini, what happened? What are you thinking so much?"

Nandini tried to smile. "Nothing much."

"Okay. It's raining, come inside."

Nandini didn't hear anything Ankita told. She was still standing there. Ankita shook her a little to break her trance. "What happened to you, Nandini? You are looking different. Is there something wrong?"

Nandini didn't say anything. She just hugged Ankita tightly. Ankita was not prepared for the sudden hug. She found Nandini's behavior weird. She heard Nandini sobbing badly.

Ankita made Nandini look at her. "What's wrong, Nandini? Tell me. Why are you crying like this?"

Nandini wiped her tears nodding. "Nothing, mumma."

"Did you fight with Manik?"

"No."

Ankita smiled softly. "I got it. Only a few days more and then you will be the bride of him. I'm sure, he will take care of you a lot. He won't let you miss us."

"Mumma, please don't make fun of me. I'm leaving."

"Will you be back tonight?"

"No, I'm gonna apply henna. So, it will take time. You and Pari come on time."

"Okay. Take umbrella with you else you will catch cold."

"Nothing will happen to me. You go inside else you will fall sick."

Then Nandini left from there for Malhotra's.

Seeing Nandini all wet Nyonika asked, "What's this, Nandini? Why did you get wet like this? You will fall sick."

"Nothing will happen, chachi. Don't worry."

Alya came there hearing Nandini's voice. "Nandini, you are coming now? Have you seen the time?"

"Sorry, I got a little late. But now I'm here. Let's go."

"Okay. Come to room and get ready."

After sometime Nandini came down after getting ready.

"Why does it have to rain now? It flopped all the plans." Mukti made a bad face.

"You will leave us that's why the sky is also coming." Cabir said from behind.

"Shut up. You go away from here." Mukti shouted at him.

"I will go but after some time when you will need my help and ask for it, I won't come. Remember it."

"I was only kidding. Don't take it seriously." Mukti passed a smile.
