Nandini was sleeping with Alya. At late night she opened her eyes and found someone sitting in front of her looking at her closely. She got up being scared. Manik closed her mouth with his hand hurriedly so that no one else hears her.

Nandini calmed down after seeing Manik. She gestured him to remove his hand. He noticed it and moved his hand away from her mouth and asked him angrily, "What is your problem, Manik? What are you doing here at the middle of the night?"

"Hello to you too, Nandini. To burst your bubble, it's not the middle of the night. It's almost morning. Now come with me. I want to show you something," Manik said pulling her out of the bed.

"Now?" Nandini asked being confused with his actions. She was actually surprised with him acting indifferent.

"Yes, now. Can't you speak in a low voice, Nandini? Alya would wake up hearing your voice. And why do you ask so many questions?" Manik told while Nandini was getting up. He made a bad face.

She didn't say anything just shot a glare to him. She kept being pulled by Manik.

Manik was going out of the room when Alya told from behind, "Close the door behind before leaving and I didn't hear or see anything." She let out a chuckle at the end covering her face with the blanket properly.

Nandini's eyes widened hearing Alya's voice. She looked at Manik with a shocked expression plastered all over her face and Manik laughed seeing Nandini's reaction. He found her super cute like that.

Manik took Nandini to terrace.

"Wait wait wait Nandini." Manik stopped before walking inside the terrace.

Nandini got confused seeing him. "What happened?"

"Close your eyes."

Nandini nodded her head in disbelief. "No. I'm not going to do it. I am scared."

"I'm there, Nandini. Trust me. I won't let anything happen to you." Manik assured her. He cupped her face and pecked on her forehead.

Manik came behind Nandini and closed her eyes with his palms. Nandini hold the hem of Manik's shirt tightly.

"Where are you taking me, Manik? At least tell that." Nandini asked impatiently.

"Shh. Just wait a little more."

Then Nandini didn't say anything more as she knew there is no use of it. Manik won't tell anything till the time he doesn't feel like. Manik took her at the middle of the terrace and removed his hand from her eyes, "Now see."

Then Nandini opened her eyes slowly and got the biggest shock of her life seeing the view in front of her.

It was written

"I LOVE YOU MISS TEDDY BEAR"
"YOU TOUCHED MY SOUL"

It was made with candles looking so beautiful.

Nandini was amazed with the scenery in front of her. She couldn't believe her own eyes. "So many candles!!! It's so beautiful. I can't believe this. You have done this?"

Manik noticed the look on her face. It was clearly showing how happy she was. The smile on her face was enough to melt his heart. He came from back and hugged her, "I love you Nandini."

Nandini had tears in his eyes. She was about to cry. But Manik stopped her. "Not again, Nandu."

Nandini sniffed a little and wiped her nose and eyes with her palm. She was looking adorable with battling her eyelashes staring at him. "You love me?"

Manik chuckled and pulled her nose. "Yes, I love you a lotttt."

Nandini held his hands in between her small ones. "Manik, I never thought my life would be so beautiful. Your presence makes it perfect."

Manik smiled and caressed her face. "You are Manik Malhotra's girl. So, it has to be. I will make sure, it remains perfect only. You are too precious for me."

"Idiot." Nandini smiled playfully.

"Okay. Now wipe your tears and give me your cute smile. It makes my life brighter."

Nandini smiled just the way Manik wants her to.

Manik settled on one of the chairs kept there in the terrace with Nandini on his lap. Nandini has kept her head on his heart hearing his heart beat. Manik's one hand was around her waist holding her tightly. His another hand was entwined with Nandini's one.

The sky was full with stars with a little cloud. It was a full moon night. The weather was a little chilly. It was a romantic night.

"Today's night is so romantic, isn't it? The sky is also looking romantic. You know I think everyone wants to make our 1st date perfect."

"Manik........."

"Hmm."

"You know when you were not here I used to look at the sky everyday and thought may be I can't see you but it can. I used to tell the moon to tell you that come back to Nandini. She misses you a lot."

After a little a pause, Nandini again spoke.

"Manik........"

"Hmm."

"You know when you had gone away from here leaving me, I got really angry on you. You have no idea how much I have cried. I had thought that you won't come back ever and that's what made me feel more measurable. At the beginning, I used to miss you a lot. But later I somehow convinced myself. Then I didn't remember you much."

Manik looked at her as if she was some alien.

"But whenever I landed up in any problem or there is some trouble, I could only think of you. I wanted you to be there for me."

Then Nandini couldn't hold her tears back. She started crying.

"Hey, Nandini, why are you crying? You know right I hate it when you cry? I hate these tears in your eyes." Manik wiped her tears carefully and pecked on both her eyes pulling her closer to him. 

Nandini narrowed her gaze looking at him. "When you had gone leaving me, that time didn't you think of it? Didn't you think how hurt I will be?"

Manik held his ears making a pout. "Of course, my love. I promise I will never do this. I am not gonna leave you ever again."

Nandini removed Manik's hand from his ears and gave a small peck on his cheek.

"Nandini........."

"Hmm."

Manik made Nandini face him. "You didn't reply me yet."

Nandini smiled naughtily in mind but maintained a straight face as if she didn't know what he meant. "Which reply? I don't know anything."

"What do you mean by which reply? You are seriously weird." Manik's eyes went wide hearing her reply.

Nandini stared at him still pretending to be unknown of everything.

"I love you." Manik uttered once again.

Nandini started blushing. She bent her head downwards trying to hide her face.

Suddenly Manik's phone buzzed. But he cut the call. "What happened, Nandini? Speak something."

"Whose call it was?" Nandini tried to change the topic.

The smile on Manik's face faded with her question. He tried to not react much. "No one. You say"

Manik's phone again buzzed. But he again cut the call.

"Why are not you picking up the calls?" Nandini was confused seeing Manik cutting the call again and again.

"That's not important. You say."

Before Nandini could say anything again a call cane in Manik's phone. This time too Manik cut the call.

Nandini frowned as Manik's phone buzzed all over again. "Who is this, Manik? Why are not you picking up the call?"

"I said right it's not important? Leave it." Manik muttered in a stern tone.

"If someone is calling again and again at this hour, then it must be something important. There must be some emergency. You should pick up the call." Nandini tried to make him a little calm as he was getting hyper.

Manik switched off his phone. "Nothing is more important than you in my life. So, whenever I'm with you, no other emergency can come. So, switched off."

Nandini smiled at his words. He never fails to make her feel special.

"Leave it, Nandini. You still didn't reply." Manik moved his hands around her waist pulling her near him.

"What? There's nothing to reply." Nandini bit her inner cheeks to stop herself from smiling. Her cheeks heated up.

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Think again, Nandini." Manik nuzzled his nose over her neck.

"I have."

"Fine then."

Manik without giving any warning placed his lips on her's kissing her hungrily. Nandini was shocked with the sudden kiss. After coming back to senses she started kissing him back. She tried to match his speed. But he was way too passionate this time.

When they both were out of breath, they broke the kiss. Manik looked at Nandini's face which was totally red.

"I had told you to think."

"Stupid." She slapped on his forehead making him chuckle.

Manik moved his face closer to her. "Come again."

Nandini got up from his lap. "What?" She paused a little before speaking again. "Good night."

Manik looked at him being shocked. "What! Why?"

"Because my bed is calling me."

"Single or double?"

"Single." Nandini pulled his cheeks.

"Nandini, you cheater!!!" Manik rubbed his cheek and was about to get up, seeing that Nandini took steps away from him.

Before Manik could get a hold of her, she ran away from there laughing loudly.
