SCHOOL was finally in session and Cameron already wanted to return to the summer holidays. When she was dropped off home, Drew hadn't spoken a word, confusing her more than anything. Even in the morning, he was mute, worrying his aunt who wished the two a good first day.

When they arrived on school grounds, whatever mean stench that lingered from the party remained and grew throughout the halls.

"Have you heard from Tory?" She asked her cousin who tensed up. Fliers littered the lockers they walked passed, "Did you drop her home yesterday?"

Drew rushed out, "No."

"No? I thought she was with you."

"I'm not her keeper. She's tough and fast. Now leave me alone."

"Have a nice day," she drawled sarcastically, watching him meet up with some of his friends. Her phone had already started ringing. "Hey." She answered her boyfriend.

Miguel replied, "Hey, where are you? I'm outside."

"Just by my locker. Come meet me," she said, seeing Aisha and Lily talking. "Sorry, I forgot we were supposed to walk in together."

"Don't stress," hypocritical, considering he was. The entire night he was thinking of ways to make up to her. But make up for what... he wasn't sure. "You wearing that orange co-ord with your dad's chain?"

She smiled, looking over her attire, "You know it."

"You know it," Lily mocked, after appearing in front of her with Aisha.

Aisha giggled, "Is that the Vamp Champ?"

"Bye Mig," she ended the call before he could respond and gave her friends a dead stare as they laughed. "Have you heard from Tory? Drew said he didn't take her home last night. He also looked on edge."

"Maybe they had a fight," Aisha suggested.

Thinking of Hawk's humiliation, Lily added, "There were plenty yesterday."

"Me and Miguel almost had sex," the words flew out of Cameron's mouth before she could stop them.

Her friends' faces were a picture as they gawked at her.

Aisha needed a minute to take what was said, "I'm sorry what?"

"Slut." Lily coughed dramatically, earning an eye roll, "Sorry, what did you do?"

Cameron clarified, "Nothing happened, we made out for a while."

"We know," Aisha commented.

Lily agreed, pulling a face, "We saw."

Cameron said, "We went to a spare room. But I freaked out and he left to get water for me. But then I bumped into Robby and —"

Lily's face scrunched up, "Dora?"

"That bitch," Aisha scoffed, annoyed that he tried fighting the Cobra Kai's yesterday.

"— and then the police came. It was a whole thing," Cameron finished.

Lily remembered, "I almost twisted my ankle running to my car."

"My thighs were chafing like crazy," Aisha mentioned leaning against a locker.

Cameron stated, "I went straight to bed last night. We didn't text each other good night. Just good morning and talked about coordinating outfits. What if he's pissed?"

"About what? You guys hooked up." Aisha didn't see the problem.

Lily agreed, "Yeah it's nothing new. He'll be fine. You're overthinking this."

"Too much."

"And he's basically in love with you." Aisha murmured, checking her phone, "And you're right about Tory. She still hasn't texted me back."

Lily clicked her tongue, "She should be here. Her location is turned off."

"Shit," Cameron sighed.

She then gasped when she felt arms wrap around her waist.

"Hey beautiful," Miguel greeted, admiring her outfit.

They matched and they looked good together, great even.

Lily reeled back, "Gag."

Aisha kept texting Tory, hoping for a response.

"Hey, handsome." Cameron turned around, throwing her arms around his neck, and greeting him with a quick kiss. "Ready?"

"Yeah."

"Good morning, students and faculty, welcome to a brand-new year at West Valley High. I hope you all had a wonderful summer and are ready to dive back into the school year," the school announcements began.

"Hey. Are you okay after yesterday?" Miguel trod carefully, whilst they walked.

"My head hurts a lot," Cameron mumbled, wincing when he shook his head.

"No I meant after I tried..." he trailed off as they walked into their homeroom.

"You didn't try anything." She assured softly, "It felt like it was heading in that direction but it didn't. I told you to stop and you listened."

"That's the bare minimum," he said dismissively.

"Exactly. But you made me feel safe," she smiled up at him before he took his place next to Hawk.

Lily sat behind him, unintentionally staring at the back of his head. They never got to have their drink at the party, or even talk much.

Miguel mirrored his girlfriend's expression, "Same as you."

Still standing up, she said quietly, "There's something I wanna tell you after school. I was thinking maybe we could go to Golf N stuff and we could talk there."

"Back to our origins," he joked, "We bringing Leo too?"

"Sure, I mean it's your week with him."

"Can't forget our little man."

Letting go of each other's hands, Cameron sat beside Lily, she nudged her best friend, snapping her out of her thoughts.

And just as Hawk was about to turn around to speak to Lily, a classmate walked up to him.

"Just wanted to say, I wet the bed till I was 13..." he squeaked up, gripping his books. "There's nothing to be ashamed of."

"Get the hell out of my face!" Hawk yelled, slapping his books out of his hands, making him flinch as some students laughed.

Lily didn't, she just rolled her eyes and picked up her phone.

Miguel squinted his eyes, "What's that guy's problem?"

"I don't know," Hawk murmured. He didn't turn around to see his ex, knowing she was either embarrassed of him, or for him.

"Oh, Tory's location is on," Lily suddenly informed.

Cameron leaned over, "Let me see."

"She's at the school."

"Thank god. Terror squad starting the year together," Cameron teased, earning a playful eye roll.

"We really need to get a new name for us."

"Terror only means extreme fear. And if people don't approach us because they're afraid. Isn't that a good thing, especially with your social battery clocking out with speed?" Cameron chuckled.

"Thank you for the delightful fact."

"And finally as we embark upon another academic year, it's important to remember to be tolerant and accepting of all of our peers, regardless of — Hey, you're not supposed to be in here." everyone glanced up at the struggle coming through the speakers "Give that back! Ow! You're not allowed to..."

"Samantha LaRusso." It was Tory. "I know what you did and now you're gonna pay for it." Students gasped. "I'm coming for you, bitch!"

The bell rang and everyone rushed out of their homerooms, flooding the hallways that Tory stormed before locking eyes with Sam.

Drew paced, as did Robby.

Hawk and Miguel rushed through.

"Shit," Aisha stood back as Tory and Sam circled each other in the middle of a hallway, those who could see gawked. "Where the hell is CJ?"

The girl in question abandoned her things and ran into the commotion.

The bodies of students she pushed passed were a problem.

"I saw what you did at the party." Tory snarled, just as Robby appeared behind her. "You kissed Drew."

Sam's mouth fell open as other people gasped.

Heartbreak spread on Robby's face once he realized it was true.

"I..." Sam tried explaining herself. Seeing her boyfriend, let out shuddered breaths. But by then Tory already tried throwing the first punch, which she dodged, only for her bag to be dragged back causing her to be kicked into the arms of Hawk and other Cobra Kai's.

"Tory!" Cameron finally came, eyes widening when she saw the anger on her friend's face. "What..."

Aisha yelled, "Drew kissed Sam!"

Cameron's face contorted into a scowl just when Drew arrived.

The girls were pissed that they heard Drew cheated but even more so because they did it to their friend.

"Victoria..." Drew's face dropped when he realized she knew. That his cousin knew. "I'm so sorry."

But Tory blocked it out, dragging her eyes away from the apologetic gaze he sent.

"Get back in there!" Hawk, along with his teammates pushed Sam back into the fight.

Everyone was raving at the tussle she and Tory had.

Lily panted as she ran, stunned when she saw the girls up against the lockers.

Robby finally rushed over, tearing Tory away when she punched Sam's side multiple times.

"Hey!" Drew barged over, and a few of his football friends stood watching. He shoved Robby away and onto the floor.

"Drew." Cameron went to move forward, knowing that her cousin could seriously get hurt if he wasn't careful.

But she was pulled back, Miguel shook his head, "Leave it alone."

"How can I?" She exclaimed.

"Oh, it is on!" Hawk screamed, pushing Nathaniel and Bert to the side. Grunting with the punches he threw at ongoing chaos. "Yeah!"

Now joining the fight, Mitch turned to his old friend.

"I'm not gonna throw the first punch," Chris stated.

"Too bad."

Chris dodged his advances and kicked him, sending him toward the ground.

"Lily, get out of here," Cameron screamed, watching as she almost got hit by a guy. Only for them to be punched by Hawk. "I'm serious go, now!"

"Unless you wanna fight Yasmine. She's back now," Hawk manically laughed whilst he held someone down.

"Fuck this," Lily ran away.

Cameron and Hawk exchanged a nod before they drop-kicked two Miyagi-dos.

Bert and Nathaniel started scrapping, and the latter dominated.

Aisha followed Tory and Sam, screaming that they stop, but then was shoved against a locker.

She stared at the assailant in disbelief, "Oh, you want some of this?"

She body-slammed him to the parallel locker, punched him in the stomach, and then his face.

"Come on, guys, can't we all just get along?" Moon said, very distressed. Screaming when two fighting boys collided against the wall near her.

People were being choked out, slammed into things, and punched to the ground.

It was mayhem.

Teachers deserted the areas, scared of being caught in the crossfire.

Hawk fought near Drew who was being shoved to the ground.

He grunted, then rolled to the side before Robby could stomp on his stomach.

"Get Drew!" Hawk yelled to Miguel who harshly shoved someone away.

"Ah!" Drew groaned when his head hit against a locker.

A few of his teammates went to help but were pulled away by some of the Miyagi-dos.

Miguel sprinted over, thrusting his leg out, sending Robby to the floor.

Cameron laughed when she saw Yasmine shriek at the commotion.

"Aisha!" She got her friends' attention as she finished headbutting someone. The blonde cried out when Cameron gripped her hair and shoved her into her friend's arms. "She's all yours."

"Get off of me!" Yasmine's head throbbed.

Aisha darkly chuckled, "Not a chance bitch!"

Drew was pulled off the ground by Bert who finally got away from Nathaniel.

"Thanks for looking out bro," despite his height, Drew didn't realize how lacking he was at fighting. He just wanted to make sure Tory was okay.

Bert rasped, "any time."

Drew winced when Nathaniel rushed his way and took Bert down.

"Ah!" Cameron screamed, her leg came down on a boy who pushed her to the ground. Her side was aching but she powered through. "Fuck you." She extended her fist, sending it down on his nose under, extracting heard a crack and shrill cry.

Onlookers either cheered on or looked away in discomfort.

"This is out of control! Get me security in the main corridor, right away!" The principal said into a walky-talky when he rushed out of his office.

Stingray, who was behind him, shook his head, "It's okay, sir," he unbuttoned his blazer jacket and strutted into the commotion, "I got this." he announced. Students cheered, as slammed his hand down into the elbow of a boy, then pushed him against the locker.

He high-fived Hawk who had someone in a headlock.

The fight was spreading throughout the school, into the main hall, where some stairs, railings and front entrances all were.

It was being hyped up by all, mainly the karate students.

"Can't you just stop it already?" Sam gritted out after getting off the ground.

"What's the matter? You can't keep up?" Tory yelled.

Both had cuts on their faces as they advanced their stars in a vicious battle.

Demetri locked eyes with Hawk after trying to get a teacher to stop all of this.

"Not again," he squeaked out and then ran away.

Pushing him up against a pillar, Robby punched Miguel, "You can't cheat your way out of this one."

Miguel tugged at his shirt and headbutted him, "Like that move? I learned it from your dad."

The boys moved to the stairs after hearing the screaming girls.

"Really?" Cameron hissed when she was kicked in the face, "You shouldn't have done that." She rushed at them, as their back hit the stairs railing.

"Roni! Move!"

She heard Miguel scream, prompting her to turn around, seeing a Miyagi-do student charge at her.

She instead spun and jumped up to kick him down.

Snapping her head up she saw to see Robby rushing upstairs toward Miguel as Tory dragged Sam down the stairs.

Tory was relentless in her attempts to batter Sam, but Sam had enough.

They grunted and screamed.

"Is that the only way you know how to fight? Dirty?" Sam gritted.

"This isn't a tournament." Tory menacingly grinned, as she unravelled her spiked bracelet and placed it around her fist, "There are no rules."

Sam's eyes widened in fear.

"Miguel!" Cameron caught how close he and Robby fought to the railings on the second floor.

She panted as she tried running up only to be held back.

Some injured Cobra Kai's aided her, and she slapped a few assailants away, scratching her nails through their faces whilst doing so.

"This goes beyond you defending Drew, you started this shit!" Robby yelled, flinging Miguel on the floor.

Scrambling to get up, Miguel yelled, "I didn't start shit."

"You had it out for me!"

"Nah, you were just pissed that you were never the first choice. Maybe Sam never wanted you. She liked me first, now Drew. 5 more guys and then she'll find her way to you!"

Miguel charged at him, twisted Robby's arm around and elbowed him in the face.

Cameron was pushed into the lower railing, after being distracted by Sam's scream.

Tory's bracelet sliced through Sam's forearm. Tory shoved Sam to the floor, only to grab her head and run her bracelet over her cheek.

"No mercy," she gritted.

"Tory!" Cameron then yelled, panic flashed over her face when her friend was shoved over a railing.

Recovering from being thrown into a trophy casing, Hawk growled, stumbling through the crowds, eyes darting between every floor.

His darkened gaze landed on Miguel dominating Robby, pushing him onto the ground, twisting his arm back as he panted.

"CJ!" Hawk bellowed, as she headbutted someone out of the way and was about to storm over to Sam.

But then Cameron reluctantly dragged her eyes away from Sam and up to the second floor where she saw Miguel stall.

"No, no, no," she muttered, realising what was happening.

"He's showing mercy," Hawk voiced her thoughts.

Miguel was sweet, he was too sweet. He couldn't stomach the thought of actually hurting someone so viciously. He had remorse, he had self-awareness, he was merciless and perhaps that was his greatest weakness.

Cameron's knees crumbled to the floor when everything felt as if it wasn't real, that everything was in fact a dream.

No. A horrific nightmare.

And that's what it was when the sound of Miguel's spine cracking against the staircase as he fell echoed through the school.

As did Cameron's heart-wrenching scream.

"Miguel!"

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

MIGUEL Diaz was in a coma.

Everyone who took part in the fight was also rushed and checked at the hospital. A broken rib, a bruised chin and a sore arm were what Cameron obtained. Nothing compared to how her boyfriend was suffering. She ignored everyone when she left the hospital, especially her cousin who had a mild concussion, yet countlessly attempted to apologise.

Other than Miguel's side, the was only one place she was drawn to. One place she could express herself only not verbally.

A place she could be surrounded by others who felt the same... vengeance lying within.

"Hai kyu! Hai kyu! Hai kyu!"

The chanting of Cobra Kai students echoed through the second dojo with Kreese conducting them.

Their sensei halted them, "Class. We have a visitor."

They turned in unison.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Johnny pressed.

"What does it look like? I'm teaching my students."

Johnny scoffed, "Your students?"

Each of their faces were littered with cuts or blotches, contrasting their ivory gi's.

"You let them down when they needed you the most. Somebody needed to remind them what it takes to win."

Johnny stalked forward, but the students mirrored him, creating a wall in front of Kreese.

Johnny glanced at all of them, in disbelief, flunging out his arms, "After everything I did for you?"

"Miguel's in the hospital because of you." Hawk's voice as full of emotion as he gritted out, "He showed mercy to Robby Keene because of you. If he dies, that's on you."

Tearing his guilt-ridden eyes off of Hawk, he turned to Cameron, who stood at the centre.

"Cameron," he tried.

"No." Her voice was gruff, from crying in her car on her way to the dojo. But in public, she suppressed any pain and only paraded an unwavering glare. "I owe you nothing. Miguel could've died because of your son." She snapped, clenching her fist as her body shook, "Because of your useless lessons. Had he been merciless he wouldn't be alone and comatosed because of you." Tears welled up in her bloodshot eyes, "He would be here. Walking. Talking. Fighting. You lead him to this. You lead us to this. Not Kreese."

"Miss James is right." Kreese started, stepping forward, "I did warn you about this. I told you not to show weakness."

Johnny growled, "Get out."

"This is my dojo." Kreese replied, with a shrug, wryly smiling at the confusion on Johnny's face. "Oh, I forgot to tell you," he explained as he folded his arms. "When you were out of town, I had a little talk with the landlord. It turns out he doesn't like you much. But you know the problem with those handshake deals, there are no guarantees."

Frantically looking around, Johnny gulped, "You can't do this."

Cameron moved out the way so her sensei could come through.

"Of course I can. I founded Cobra Kai. It belongs to me. It always has, and it always will." Kreese stated with his arms reaching up to grip his collar, "I will never let my students lose. Even if they have to learn the hard way." He stepped closer to a defeated Johnny, "One day you will thank me for this, Johnny."

Johnny's breathing labored when he glanced around the class.

"This was a mistake." He voiced, nearly tearing up when he faced his old Sensei. "You want Cobra Kai? It's yours."

His old students didn't stare at his retreating body for long.

"Class... Forward strike," Kreese instructed, prompting them turn and get into position.

"Hai kyu! Hai kyu! Hai kyu!"

They moved in unison.

Together strong, striking first.

Striking hard.

No mercy.

END OF SEASON 2

a/n:

lord forgive cameron for how she'll act in season 3.

unfortunately I won't be keeping my girl aisha for season 3. the terror squad has lost a member. it was mainly why i had her beat up yasmine as parting gift. also, aisha's absence would probably only add to the changes in cameron, considering she'll have less people around her to trust. no more confession times as a quartet.

i hope you enjoyed this season, all the interactions, the changes, and all the characters heading up to be the worst versions of themselves. kreese has access to an emotionally unstable cameron. honestly i look forward to writing it all, especially how far she will go before clocking out.

as i start writing the new chapters, please be patient as i am a student and have a personal life... but then again i wrote the first 4 seasons in less than a month.

feel free to reread, or inquire about any theories you have. don't ask when i'll update because i won't respond. you can look at my other stories, check my tiktok and tumblr.

thank you for the support, votes and comments.
