(y/n) yelled into the hut as she walked in,

"took you long enough I was starting to wonder where you were."

Senku said with his signature smurk.

"Awww were you worried for me?"

She said in a teasing tone, wagging a finger at him. The scientist quickly became flustured.

"Of course not you gorilla! You're just too Important to lose."

He spoke looking away.

"Oh (y/n) Senku said you would be able to cure ruri! I will do anything to help with her illness, just say it and i'll do it!"

Kohaku was basically begging at this point.

"of course I'll help her, although I do not know exactly what's affecting her, actually I can't even make much of an educated guess... I think the safest choice would be to make an anti-biotic.."

(y/n) said, uncertantiy laced her voice.

"but what does that do?"

The two villagers asked as Senku joined in the conversation,

"(y/n) is talking about something that will destroy any germ that may be infecting your sister, it's the best option we have in this day in age."

"OOH GREAT!"

"YEAH WHAT DO WE NEED TO START?"

The idea of saving Ruri thrilled both Kohaku and Chrome, with the two basically jumping up and down. Not realising the leangthy process they were about to go through.

"well to make a panacea there are two ways you can make it, either from penicillin, which comes from living things, it sulfa drugs, which comes from rocks."

(y/n) put her hand on her chin.

"how do those turn into medicine though?"

Kohaku asked.

"Penicllin's the most well-known. You make that from penicillium mold. Penicillin was so effective it relegated sulonamides to the annals of history."

Senku said, using a lot of big words that Kohaku and Chrome wouldn't understand at all.

"BASICALLY WHAT SENKU WANTS TO SAY IS THAT WE ARE GONNA NEED A LOT OF PERSISTENCE AND MANPOWER!"

(y/n) yelled putting her hands on both Kohaku and chrome.

"There is a 10 billion percent chance that we can make a cure!"

"Yeah with our 3 brains and kohakus strength we definitly got this!"

"WELL WHAT'S THE HOLD UP LET'S START!"

Chrome yelled causing Senku to chuckle.

"You don't get it Chrome, I ain't a god. Not even a genius really. It all happens step by step. We gottta do a lotta crawling around in the dirt to get there."

(y/n) scoffed at this comment.

"don't say that Senku! You're the definition of a genius!"

She hit his arm playfully, causing him to just roll his eyes. He grabbed a stick and started drawing a road map. It was such a long roadmap with many leading to the drug that could cure Ruri. The rest of the day the four disscused ways to progress to their goal.

With every 2 scentences Chrome asked (y/n) and Senku questions about the world.

"WAIT SO THE EARTH ITSELF IS SPINNING??"

"YEAH IT'S SO COOL, RIGHT??"

(y/n) said in excitement, bonding the with the brunette male. At this point senku was lifeless on the ground he couldn't take the simple questions Chrome was asking.

"wait that's weird. Why aren't we all flying off the earth?"

"becuase of gravity."

"Senku stop being rude their just curious."

(y/n) spoke, as she layed beside him.

"I'm not rude... It just hurts my brain there's no challenge answering these questions!"

"Well be thankful that there's not too much for us to deal with yet. But don't worry, i'm sure the two of us can get through anything together."

Senkus face grew pink.

Anything together.. huh. what a silly thing to say

however before senku could respond to her, chrome asked another question.

"You know I actually thought it was weird that one star never moves."

"the north star is what you're talking about. It's really bright and useful, It's a 10 billion percent chance that it points to north. Really handy to know."

Senku explained, getting up from the floor.

"looks as though it's shifted a bit from due north..."

"are you sure Kohaku? It's meant to be due north."

(y/n) said in confusion, also getting up.

"(y/n) is correct, it is meant to be due north... the only way it wouldn't be is.. The earths axis shifted?"

"OOOH WAIT THAT MAKES SENSE WHY WHEN WE WERE GONNA GO TO HAKONE THE NAVIGATION WAS OFF!"

(y/n) said in realisation.

"heh heh heh... any real scientist would be disgusted at my oversight... but you guys can't help but not notice... i'm hopeless."

Senky said, covering his face with his hand. His comment on the other hand didn't only affect him. It got (y/n) thinking.

I can't even notice a simple error that Senku made... If I can't do that will i become useless to him? Once Ruri is cured will I be uesless? If i'm not useful to Senku then what am I...

(y/n) was having a shinji moment. The conversation between Senku, Kohaku and Chrome went in one ear and out the other, she just wanted to go to bed at this point.

The next day the 3 others went to collect iron at the lake. Leaving (y/n) alone. So she went out to hunt for some food.

(y/n) Pov

Maybe I will see Hyoga again. I guess it will make it more believeable if he sees me alone often, or maybe i'll see Tsukasa... that would be the worst ever. God he makes everything so complicated. But i may see someone knew today.

As i gathered plants to eat I heard something approch me, looking ahead I saw Hyoga.

"HIIII AGAIN!"

I yelled out, waving my hand out at him. I have to make myself seem as not threanting as possible, he may run his mouth and leak some stuff about Tsukasa.

"hello again."

He said, he made sure to keep a distance.

"what a surpirse to see you again, you know it's so lonely being all alone in the stone world. I can't even revive anyone to make friends!"

"I see."

Hyoga then kind of just stood their and watched me. It was getting kinda creepy.

"sooooo did you miss me?"

"no."

"HUH?? THAT'S SO MEAN? NOT EVEN A LITTLE, A TINY TINY TINY BIT?!"

"no."

what a bitch. He's so rude I can't believe he wouldn't miss a stranger that he's only talked to twice.

"so how has your day been?"

"..."

he didn't say anything. Getting him to talk is going to be hard.

"You know Hyoga, you're the only person that i've talked to.... So it would mean a lot if you could talk to me like a normal person."

Maybe the pity card will word on him.

"What would you like to talk about then?"

"hmmmm how about you! What do you like to do?"

"not much, currently I'm too busy to do anything."

"ah I see, well I asked you a question now you can ask me a question!"

Hyoga thought for a bit, he looked kinda stumped on what to ask me.

"what do you think of me?"

he asked, he looked like he was listening intentivly to whatever i would answer with.

"well at first you're not the best company but you just need a push to talk to. You seem very stoic but still you seem nice. You're also cute."

Hyogas face seemed to flush pink for a split second, I gotta make him fall in love with me!!

"okay how about you, what do you think of me?"

"... you're nice."

That's it. Not even a 'oh you're cute' or anything. You say you're nice to someone when you have nothing else to say.

"haha that's it? well thanks anyway."

the two of us were silent for a bit before he eneded up leaving. I guess it's time to go back to camp.
