gen was released just 10 days before he met (y/n) and senku.

"Is this a hidden camera show?? and my manager didn't stop it! i'll take it in good stride if they're just doing their job..."

he looked behind him.

"oh you're... we did that TV special on psychological magic together. history's strongest primate high schooler.  Tsukasa shishio."

"the stone statues i've gathered here... represent a collection of humans most worth reviving. yourself included."

gen looked around to see many stone statues.

"gen i see your potential in your skills as a mentalist. so i freed you to perform a certain task. track down 2 people. and get intel on them. If a man named senku is still alive i need you to find him for me. He's the smartest man in the world... and i killed him myself."

"so this Tsukasa guy is a really bad guy?! and gen is his friend... that means gen is also a bad guy!!"

suika exclaimed to everyone

"but didn't gen save everyone from magma? so he's a good guy?!"

suikas brain was going to fry at this point.

"ha ha his morality is more grey than black and white suika."

(y/n) said, giggling along with senku.

"but whether gen asagiris intentions are honest or not we've got no choice but to recruit him to the kingdom of science. let's get him to return a false report that i'm six feet under. that's our only path to victory!"

Senku said. Chrome yelled at Gen to get his attention.

"OI GEN! YOU SAW IT YOURSELF RIGHT? THE ELECTRICITY THATS BAAAD LIGHT OF SCIENCE!! WHO CARES ABOUT WINNING OR LOSING? OR TSUKASA VS SENKU? SCREW ALL THAT!! WHICH IS MORE INTERESTING?! CLEARLY.. ITS THE KINGDOM OF SCIENCE!!"

"oh wow that was certainly something chrome. let me join in next time!"

(y/n) chirped leaving chrome with an embarrassed pink face.

"ah youth. such a hot blooded declaration..."

"sadly for you, chrome,, i couldn't care less about that. i'm the worlds smoothest talker you see. i only have eyes for what benefits me."

wow he's selfish too definitely not an option for me... and here i thought he was kinda cute. oh well there's more fish in the see i guess

(y/n) sighed when gen left. She decided to sleep while the 3 chased after him. however she only got a solid 20 minutes of sleep before they came back with a beaten up gen.

"(y/n) please help gen!!"

chrome yelled out waking the girl up.

"oh? what happened here?"

"some stranger decided to stab his chest with a spear and i'm guessing he got hit on the head, take a look at him."

Senku said. kohaku Senku and chrome we're discussing the incident while (y/n) was with gen.

"well after looking at you, you're only going to have a bruise on your chest and a few scabs here and there, and a headache when you wake up but nothing too serious."

obviously she got no response.

"you know gen you're probably not as selfish as you make yourself out to be. And i'm sure you'll make the right decision in the end. Though Tsukasa is very charismatic. How about when you come back after your trip there i'll tell you some stories about him."

(y/n) said chuckling to herself, just thinking about some of the dumb things her and tsukasa had done.

"how.... how do you know... i'll come back?"

Gen said with a raspy voice, he spoke very slowly.

"best not to talk, save your voice and rest up. Goodnight."

(y/n) said giving him a forehead kiss before swiftly going to her own bed. Senku didn't like the sight of his best friend kissing someone. He didn't know why either, as he likes to put it feelings are irrational. so why does he feel so much around her?

the next day everyone woke up to chromes yelling.

"THE JERK GEN IS GONA. GAVE US THE SLIP!!"

"chrome shhhh i'm trying to sleep!"

(y/n) whispered yelled at the brunette.

"sorry (y/n)...."

later that day (y/n) woke up and went to go hunt for the others like she usually did. this time she decided to go fishing. And like she usually did when she went out of her little bubble she had an encounter with her favourite person. the hot guy on the bus.

"helllloo hyoga!!"

it's actually been a while since i've seen him.

"hello, (y/n)."

"so did you miss me this time?"

"... sure."

OMG WHAT I DIDNT THINK HE WOULD SAY HE WOULD BUT OMG YAYYAYYAY OKAY OKAY DONT LOOK WEIRD EVEN THOUGH HE PROBABLY THINKS YOURE WEIRD ALREADY.

"Really!? that actually means a lot thank you!"

he stared intently at me.

He's also closer than the last 2 times i had spoken to him, maybe he's starting to trust me more! soon i can get information out of him.

"sooo i haven't see you for a while whats been up?"

"nothing much. where have you been...? you haven't came here in the past 3 days."

how does he know? does he come to where i hunt everyday? that's so sweet. maybe he want to check up on me! he's so selfless

"awww were you worried about me! you so like me!!"

"no i do not."

"WAHHH YOU CANT EVEN LIE TO NOT BREAK A LADIES HEART!!"

Hyoga just said nothing and continued to watch (y/n) like a hawk.

"you know my offer still stands."

the mad suddenly says.

"hm? which one? that we'll get married?"

"no. the one with you coming back with me."

"you didn't deny the marriage one!!"

Hyoga sighed realising that he was going to get no where with her.

I can't help but want her to come back with me. I almost feel... bad for her. Her friend is dead, the other two are with me and Tsukasa murderer. And she's all alone. She's so feeble, i could just snap her spine in a instant..

"well if you ever want to take me up on it i will be back here."

I'm always here. I was only ordered to look for her once yet i keep finding myself coming back. she's quite enlightened though. with her knowledge of medicine she could help me with anything. oh how upset she would be if i were to murder Tsukasa...

"ill think about it. But i'll definitely come back to talk go you!"

she'll come back to talk to me?

Suika was rushing over to the others, she had over heard some horrible come out of magmas mouth.

"Wow that is so rude! Kohaku is like the strongest person I know!!"

(y/n) exclaimed with disbelief.

"Magma must think Gen was the rumoured sorcerer i brought to the village."

Kohaku said thinking back to when gen made the flowers 'disappear'

"lemme get this straight! magma mistook gen for senku and stabbed him?!"

"That's ten billion percent being in the wrong place at the wrong time!"

chrome and senku cackled. leaving (y/n) to punch both of them.

"Don't be rude! what if that was you, i can't have you being so nonchalant about people wanting you dead! And chrome you were so dramatic about everything 2 seconds ago and now you're laughing about it!!"

"(y/n) is right. i hate gen the most yet is two are the only ones feeling pity for him."

"sorry (y/n), but sure it'd be bad if he'd die but he didn't! thanks to his own magic. the way i see it,  it's insulting for a guy to pity another guy. when a guys your friend you just laugh it off."

Chrome explained. Leaving (y/n) and Kohaku dumbfounded at how boys acted.

"huh gen a friend?! when'd you fall and bump your head chrome? he's just an allied soldier. that's all!"

Senku spoke with venom in his voice.

"ooo sounds like someone wants to be gens friend!"

(y/n) teased.

"Shut up you gorilla! I do not!!"

Senku barked back.
