Steve positioned buckets on the ground as Bailey assisted him in placing the meat into the buckets, both standing side by side, with Dustin nearby. "This is Lucas. Do you copy? Dustin?" Dustin just grinned as he turned around after hearing a voice over the radio.

"Well, well, well, look who it is." Dustin said softly into his head piece. Bailey grabbed his knife, staring at the pointed thing in his hand, then slipped it into his pocket. Steve turned to check him for a good minute, but something altered once more in his mind; he hadn't considered Nancy for the whole

Lucas said something into the radio. "Well, when you were having sister problems, Dart grew again." Pulling his mic up to his mouth, Dustin said. "He escaped, and I'm pretty sure he's a baby Demogorgon. I'll explain later. Just meet me, Steve and Bailey at the old junkyard."

"Steve..Bailey..What?"

"Bring your binoculars and wrist rocket."

"All right, let's go." Bailey closed the trunk as Steve remarked putting the bag over his shoulder. Their path towards the forest began to show. Bailey inhaled deeply and then followed them unsure of what would happen once they came across dart.

"All right, so let me get this straight...You kept something you knew was probably dangerous in order to impress a girl who...who you just met?"

Bailey merely grinned as he dropped meat on the ground; it would seem to attract dart. He had been listening to Dustin go over why he initially got dart. "All right, that's grossly
oversimplifying things."

"I mean, why would a girl like some nasty slug anyway?" Steve asked, looking over at Bailey.

"Well, she could find it cool if she enjoys that rather eerie material." Bailey remarks while he turned to see Dustin grinning at him.

"An interdimensional slug? Because it's awesome."

"Well..."Steve sighed as he looked away from Bailey. "even if she thought it was cool, which she didn't, I... I just... I don't know. I just feel
like you're trying too hard."

"Well, not everyone can have your perfect hair, all right?" Dustin inquired.

"It's not about the hair, man." Steve scoffed. "The key with girls is just...just acting like you don't care."

"I don't think so, and that's true regardless of gender." Bailey remarked while glaring at him. "Love, respect, and kindness are the best ways to express your feelings for the person you admire. Personally, I would prefer not to feel uncared for by the person I'm in a relationship with. For my part, I'd prefer it if it seemed like they valued me."

Steve grinned in response to Bailey's piercing stare; Bailey was taken aback and confused by the unexpected display of emotion, so he reverted his gaze to his bucket.

"Even if you do?" Dustin asked.

"You just wait until, uh...until you feel it." Steve answered.

"Feel what?"

"It's like before it's gonna storm, you know? You can't see it, but you can feel it, like this, uh...electricity, you know?" Though he felt that way about Nancy, something still didn't feel right, and Steve couldn't help but frown as he considered his feelings for her.

"Oh, like in the electromagnetic field when the clouds in the atmosphere..."

"No, no, no." Steve interrupted as he shook his head." Like a...Like a sexual electricity"

Looking at Steve, Bailey's eyes widened. "Dustin is much too young to be considering such a thing."

"You feel that and then you make your move." Steve said as he continued his coaching.

"So that's when you kiss her?" Dustin inquired.

"No, whoa, whoa. Slow down, Romeo."As he extended his hand, Steve spoke. "Sure, okay, some girls, yeah, they want you to be aggressive. You know, strong, hot
and heavy, like a...I don't know, like a lion."

"You obviously have no idea what any girl is like." Bailey recalled Chrissy's words and mumbled them under his breath.

"But others." Steve said pointing at Dustin. "You gotta be slow, you gotta be stealthy, like a...like a ninja.

"What type is Nancy?"

For some reason, Steve was taken aback by that question. He was still uncertain about the type of girl Nancy was. "Nancy's different. She's different than the other girls."

Bailey got that Steve still had feelings for Nancy, but he couldn't shake the feeling that she was merely leading him around. Although Bailey liked Nancy and everything, they are both capable of much more.
