Do what you want, Princess.

I had to hold back a moan at those five simple words. I wanted to do a lot to him at this moment and none of them were slow at all. I bit my lip to stop smiling and I looked up at him.

"Do you have water?" I asked.

"Yes," he said as he walked to the large blanketed area. I looked at the comfortable place he set up and I imagined how he and I could be in it if I just stopped being so stubborn. I wanted to...more than anything, but my mind was being a bitch.

"I have strawberry lemonade as well if you want that instead," he said as he looked in the cooler.

I gasped and I almost let myself drop to my knees but I put my fist against my forehead and closed my eyes. "Wow, you just-...wow."

I heard him laugh softly and he came to me and passed me the drink. "Thank you."

"I'm going to get in the water," he said. I nodded and he took a step away from me and began getting undressed. I sipped on the cold and sweet drink and eyed his body as he took off his clothes. I looked up at the starry night sky to try to distract myself, but I couldn't.

He folded his clothes neatly as he stood in front of me in black swim trunks and I hid my smile behind the bottle. Why am I so nervous? Butterflies were coursing throughout my body and I felt like this was my first time being alone with a boy.

He set his clothes aside and winked at me before walking to the water and jumping in. His head resurfaced a few moments later and he ran his hands through his dark hair as he looked at me. Somehow in the colorful water, his eyes shined brighter than they usually did.

"Come in," he said.

"Syn, what if there are sharks and shit?"

"Are you serious?" He laughed. "First of all, it's impossible for sharks to be in lakes. Secondly, I made it so that there are no creatures in here."

"No fish?" I asked.

"No fish."

"So this is like a colorful pool in a forest?"

"You could say that," he laughed.

His promise assuaged my worries and I set my drink and flowers down. I lifted the hem of the see-through dress above my head and walked to the edge of the water.

"Run and jump," Syn said with a grin as he swam a short distance away from me.

"What if I drown?" I whined.

"You're not going to drown when I'm right here," he said.

"Okay, okay," I whispered. I walked backward a few feet and ran towards the water but stopped when I was at the edge and screamed. "I can't!"

"You can do it."

"Okay, alright I'll try again," I whispered as I walked back. This time I couldn't even gather up the strength to run and I stood in my spot and did a tiny run in place.

Sum laughed in the water and I shook my head at him. "This is so scary."

"Would it be easier for you to jump off the rope?" He said as he pointed to a rope hanging from a large tree a few meters away from me.

"How do I do that?"

"I'll show you," he said. He got out of the water and walked past me to the wooden walkway above the water. I followed behind him and eyed the large and sturdy tree hanging over the water that held the rope.

"Okay, all you do is walk back," he said as he demonstrated. "And hold onto the rope and run off this thing. I hate that I have to say it, but let go of the rope once you're over the water."

"Okay," I whispered.

Syn did everything he told me and I giggled as he landed in the water and faced me. "Your turn."

I held onto the rope and the same anxiety that I had earlier came back and I shook my head. "I can't."

"Do it!"

"Syn no," I whined.

"Queen get in this damn water," he yelled.

I walked back with the rope and shook my head. "Syn-"

"Now! Do it now, dammit!" He ordered with a laugh.

I ran along the wooden floor with the rope and closed my eyes as I screamed and jumped. The cool water hugged my body as I jumped into it and I held my breath before my head was submerged. Almost instantly I felt Syn's arms around me as he held me against him.

I held wiped my face with the water and burst out into laughs and he laughed softly. "I'm sorry for yelling. Tough love."

"You're forgiven," I whispered distractedly as I waved my hand in the water. My other arm was wrapped around his neck as he kissed my jaw quickly.

"I'm going to let go now," he said.

"Nooo!" I yelled as I wrapped both of my arms around him. "Syn, I'll die."

"I'm right here, Queen. If I even see you go down a little bit, I'll get you," he said into my chest as I hugged his head tightly.

"Promise?"

"I promise."

I loosened my grip on him and he placed his hand on my hips and gently moved me back. My hands loosely held onto his shoulders and I took relaxing breaths. His hands slowly moved away from my body and he looked me in my eyes.

"Just stay relaxed, Princess."

"I'm fucking relaxed," I snapped.

He laughed and completely removed his arms from me. He looked at my hands that were still holding on to him and back to me. "You need to let go, Princess. When you do move your arms like this." He demonstrated and I nodded.

"And you move your legs simultaneously," he said. "You can experiment with the movement of your hands and legs to see which is best for you. But you need to let go."

"Okay, I'll do it," I said with a nod. I moved my legs underwater as he said and slowly let go of him. I did the motions with my arms like he told me and I somehow remained afloat. I relaxed as I realized Syn was still next to me and I smiled at him.

"Hehe, I'm doing it," I said happily.

"I'm proud of you," he said with a smile. "Give me your hand."

I struggled momentarily but he took his hand in mine and slowly swam out further into the water. When he let go of me I almost when back underwater but I kept myself up.

"You look so cute," Syn teased.

"No." He moved away from me in the water and I frowned at him. "Syn, where are you going?"

"I'm not going far, I want you to try to swim to me."

"How?" I asked.

"Try whatever way works for you. I want to see something."

My frown deepened the further he got but I took comfort in the fact that he wouldn't let me die. Maybe I'd drown for a little bit, but death wasn't coming for me here. I tried a few different ways to move forward to him but I stayed in the same spot.

My head moved back underwater a few times but I managed to lift myself without Syn intervening. I was sure I almost drowned a couple of times but he made no moves to help me.

"Okay, I got it," he said. "This is a beginner's way but we're not here to make you an expert. Keep your head elevated, like this. And move your arms outwards, like this. Your legs will be following the same movements, line so." I watched him as he demonstrated everything for me and when he was done, he waited a few feet away from me.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes to do exactly what he said. As I did it, the only thing passing through my mind was how ridiculous I looked. I was surprised he wasn't already bursting into tears.

I did the strokes as he showed me multiple times and after a few moments. I looked up to see he was still far from me and I rolled my eyes and tried again. When my head bumped into his hard chest, I looked up and he smiled at me.

"Whooo!" I cheered as I wrapped my arms around him. "That took forever."

"Look where we are," he said.

I looked around and my mouth dropped when I saw that we were far away from the place that I started swimming. "How?"

"Well, since you were swimming with your eyes closed, I just kept moving back."

"That's so mean," I laughed.

"You did a great job." He wrapped my legs around his waist and I move my arms to his shoulders.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome," he whispered. His eyes moved between my lips and my eyes hungrily and my breath hitched. I looked down at his soft lips and I swallowed a breath that caught in my throat before I leaned into him.

I closed my eyes as our lips connected and immediately he kissed me back passionately. My hands tangled in his wet hair as we deepened the kiss and I moaned against his lips.

He pulled away from our kiss with a smile and shook his head. "This isn't slow."

"It's just kissing..." I said lowly.

"For now."
