After her small conversation with Decae, Tabitha decided on taking a hot shower. And by hot, she meant boiling hot as it's the only way she'd shower.

It didn't have anything at all to do with the dreadful weather, she was just used to the heat.ย

Just like the rest of her family was.

While she showered, Decae had left the room with a snake resting on her board shoulders and a cat laying on her head. She may have a blank, bored look on her face at the moment but her heart was a puddle.

The soft purrs of Hersheys brought her warmth along with the weight and the light hissing of Buttercup.

Decae was never one that got along with animals and it wasn't because of her lack of trying but animals just didn't seem to like her.

Maybe it's because of the way she looks, the weird sounds the made or her deep voice but even when she'd tried to seem less threatening and stayed silent, all the animals still ran from her.

It was saddening because she actually does like animals.

When she came into the family, she was introuduced to Buttercup and Hersheys, to her surprise, the cat and python both liked her. She didn't have to change how she looked, nor keep silent when around them. They stayed around her no matter what.

She considered herself a favorite of the cat and python but of course Tabitha is always their top favortite. As she should be when she's the one that got them and showered them with love and affection. And also like mentioned before, Tabitha is Decae's favorite as well.

It was just something about the youngest of the Rosewoods that made her feel safe and loved.

And it's been a long time since she's felt that way. She was apart of their family though she worked as a butler because she hated not doing anything. She didn't know why but she just liked doing things for people.

The tall, shapely woman soon reached the bottom of the stairs and turned into the direction of the kitchen, wanting to see if 'Lady Rosewood' needed any help.

Sadly before Decae can even reach the kitchen, the sound of the doorbell was heard and she lets out a loud sigh that sounded more like a grunt.

Her steps halted instantly and she then changes directions, turning towards the door with a blank look resting onto her face. But if you've known her for as long as the Rosewoods have, you would have been able to tell that she was annoyed.

Very much so.

Why were they getting visitors already? Was it the neighbours? She doubts that someone from the town below would've come all the way here to greet them.

She took a deep breath before she heads towards the door, able to see more than shadow standing on the porch.

Hopefully they'll instantly run away like many did when she answered the door. She reaches for the knob and twisted it before she opened the door widely and gives the guests a blank yet welcoming look as she grunts.

Sadly and surprisingly, they didn't run.

Infact they seemed a but surprised but that was it. They didn't seem to care for the cat on her head nor the python on her shoulders neither.

But as she ran her dead eyes over the family, she felt like they wouldn't scare away easily and she wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing.

Probably a good thing now that she is thinking back to what Tabitha had said and her eyes unknowinly fell onto the oldest boy of the family.

Atleast he didn't seem like the overly happy ones, Tabitha doesn't like those. Nor does she.

"Hello," a tall pale woman says with a smile gracing her lips. "I'm Morticia and this is my husband Gomez," she says as she places her hand on the shorter man's shoulder.

They reminded Decae of Lilith and her husband Asmodeus cause of the height difference.

"This is my oldest son, Wednesday," the woman continues and Decae's eyes fell onto the tall boy once again. He looked sinister in a way. "This is Pugsley whom is the middle child and this is Pubert." She finishes.

Pubert looked like a damn menace.

"Decae, who's at the door?!" Asmodeus calls out as he walked into the room, an lit cigar in hand. Decae hisses slightly as she steps to the side, allowing the man to see their guests.

Asmodeus glances out to see the people and arches a brow.

They must their neighours. If not then the townspeople are interesting as hell. Not that he minded. He walks over to the door and gives the family a charming smile causing Decae to gave him a blank look and a grunt, making him chuckle.

Oddly enough, the man and woman on the porch too chuckled as if they knew what she 'said'.

"Yes, you may go." He tells her and that was all she needed to hear before she left him and the guests heading straight towards the kitchen.

Utterly glad that she didn't have to deal with those people. It's not that she didn't like them but they were people.

She disliked those.

People were weird, always scared of the wrong thing and the wrong people. She didn't understand them. Those that they were suppose to be weary of, they'd let into their homes with opem arms and all because they 'fit' what normal looks and acts like.

But oh well.

"Hello, I'm Asmodeus," Decae hears as she's leaving. Atleast now she was free.

For how long? She's not sure yet.

Meanwhile upstairs, Tabitha was sitting on her bed as she rubbed lotion on her skin, humming softly as she did. All she could think about was the male she had seen earlier.

No matter how hard she tried to get him off her mind, she couldn't which was just making think that she was right on what she believed he is to her.

Though she could just be delusional as it was an possibility.

It's her afterall.

She shakes her head slightly to herself as she continues with her routine, eager to head downstairs. She's sure that she had heard someone ring the doorbell. Why is the doorbell that loud? She didn't know. But she really likes the house.

It's a good thing that the old owner had disppeared or whatever. Because it not, then he'd just have to be killed.

A soft yawn soon passed her lips making her groan softly but then again of course she's tried. She got up from her bed and got dressed, glad that Decae always locks her room door behind her when she's in the shower.

Once she's dressed, she puts on a bit of lip gloss and checks her nose piercing as it fell out once before.

Her outfit was simple, it's not like she's going out and she wasn't like neither of her parents when it came to always just being dressed in the best clothes.

She's good unless she needs to dress to impress.

Though she's plenty impressing without dressing up.

Tabitha soon walks over towards her door, unlocking it and pulling it open before she leaves, ready to have her python and cat back in her arms.

As she walked downstairs, she didn't notice the way her dad and the others head turned her way since she was not paying attention.

"Viper!" She hears causing her head to snap over towards the direction that heard it from while Wednesday felt his breath hitch at a closer look of the girl.

Never has his eyes landed on someone so beautiful before.

"Oh, we have guests." Tabitha mutters, sounding like she was bored until her eyes sweeps over the family. Instantly her interest is piqued. They seem to be interesting enough. Her eyes soon meets the dark ones from earlier making her perk up.
