A soft hum could be heard while a dark skinned teen walks into the livingroom, her cat in her arms and her lips pursed.
She arched a brow in amusement as she watches her mom walk by her, blowing her a kiss, heels clicking against the tile floor as she effortlessly dragged a barely alive male behind her. "Mom, you have a little something on your lips and also, we have neighbours." The teen and her mother hums as she stops in her tracks, wiping the blood from her lips and lets the limp arm she was holding fall from her hand.
Mrs. Rosewood or Lilith, stood tall at the height of 6'3 and the heels added onto it, therefore she was towering over Tabitha who stood at 5'9.
"Thank you dear," Lilith sighs out giving the teen a smile. "Is it gone?" She asks as she faces her daughter properly. "Yeah, it is." Tabitha replies with a nod before her gaze landed onto the limp male that was on the floor.
She frowns slightly. "He bleeding on the floor, can't let him dirty the tiles already and plus, he's wasting." She whines out to her mother who snorts but nods and kisses Tabitha's head before she bends over, grabbing the male's arm continues to drag the male behind her.
And as she drags the male with her into the kitchen, the trail of blood magically disappears.
"We can greet our neighbours later," the woman says as she waves at her child.
The Rosewood family are an interesting bunch. To the outside world, they're the perfect family, a normal family that can sure host the best parties ever known to man.
But they have secrets just like everyone does.
Tabitha Rosewood is the only child of the rich family. She took after her mother in looks and taste. They have the same skin tone, the same eyes though Tabitha's are a bit shaper. They have the same button nose and they both reeked of class and elegance no matter what they wore. She took after her father in that way too, he's a smooth talker and knows just about all the languages of the world and he had of course teacher his daughter. Like her, he had locs, those his were longer than her own are.
Her mother preferred having her hair in braids or just an afro, she loves playing in her hair way too much to loc it.
Lilith was taller than, Asmodeus, whose her husband and Tabitha's father.
The teen got her creativity from her dad, she got his skills in sword fighting and or boxing. She got her temper from him as well.
Both of her parents are goodlooking, so she got lucky in that department and the two are the best parents she could ever ask for.
The sound of dress shoes could be heard from behind Tabitha causing her to turn and see her father walking towards her, a huge python snake wrapped snuggly up around his neck, a smile playing on his lips.
Asmodeus stood 5'11 and had his locs in a man bun. He has warm hazel eyes that burned as if a match was lit.
"You found her!" Tabitha says happily as she takes her python from her father the second he was infront her, making him let out a snort before nodding. "Yeah, I found her curled up in one of the boxes," Asmodeus says as the python nuzzles the cat in Tabitha's hand before it settled on it's owner's shoulders.
The male then kisses his daughter's head gently before he looked around the room and tilts his head. "Guess your mother is starting on dinner," he says with a laugh and Tabitha nods her head excitedly. The male that her mother had dragged in the kitchen smelt perfect, plus Tabitha is not picky with her blood type.
"Was he from the town below or was he a visitor?" Asmodeus questions softly as he would hate having to move so quickly when they just got here.
Of course they have ways to take the attention away from them and it was easy to do when Tabitha exists.
Asmodeus was a smooth talker but his daughter? She was a different case but kind of like him, just better.
"Not sure, I just came down from my room to see her dragging him towards the kitchen." Tabitha replies to her dad with a shrug of her shoulders. "Oh, we have neighbours." She adds and a sigh passes Asmodeus lips.
He was hoping that the house next door was vacant by how it looked but he was wrong. They didn't need someone all up in their business.
The male soon pursed his lips. "We were told that we'd have neighours?" He asks the teen who nods her head. "Yes, it was the first thing the man said." She states blankly causing the male to rub the back of his neck sheepishly. "And also told us to not buy this house because the family next door are freaks and that the person that once lived herd had disappeared. But you and mom were too busy to listen as you both were only trying to choke each other." Tabitha adds. "With your tongues of course," she finishes.
Her parents were very open with their love, a bit too much at times but the two hadn't traumatized badly yet though, so she was thankful for that.
Plus, she loves their love. It was perfect, dark and twisted but one of a kind. Their souls were entwined the moment they're born and she wished for a love like that. A love that consumes her mind, soul and body.
A love that drove her deliriously insane. One that called to the darkness within her. A love that made all the blood that she has consumed boil with passion. Oh how she longed for it and she was sure that she'd get it.
From that handsome boy that she saw out her window in the house next door. His black eyes were perfect, and drew her in, she could have felt teeth aching to have a taste of the male.
She didn't want to kill him, she didn't want to drain him of his blood, she just wanted a taste and to maybe also mark him as she was sure that she knew who and what he was to her.
If people knew of what she'd consume to survive, they would take them for those vampires.
Which they are not.
The Rosewood family were something else, something sinister, something more darker than the monsters of the night.
"Right, well thank you for listening in for us." Asmodeus says to Tabitha, earning a nod from her. "Did he mention why they are called freaks?" He asks and watches as she shook her head. "No but I'm sure that we'll find out ourselves," she replies with an hint of excitment.
Asmodeus pursed his lips again but just nods his head. He wanted to know what they were up against or if they could be potential enemies as keeping his family safe was obviously important to him.
"I'm going back up to my room, have to finish unpack." Tabitha says and kisses her dad's cheek before she heads back up the stairs, her cat and python still in her arms.
As she heads upstairs, the door to the huge house opens and in walks a tall woman, a blank look on her face and box in her hands. "Decae, we told you that you can rest," Asmodeus sighs out as he walks over towards the woman that towers over him and even his wife as well.
Decae lets out a low deep grunt as she allows the male to take the box away from her hands. "I'll get the rest of the boxes, why don't you go help Tabitha?" Asmodeus says to the woman and she nods as she pats his head and heads up the stairs.
The male shakes his head slight but he smiles softly. Decae didn't ever sleep, well she didn't have too and when she's told to rest, she doesn't know what to do with herself and still ends up working.
She's a dark skinned woman with light dead grey eyes. Her tight coils framed her face perfectly as Lilith had a little knack for doing hair and Decae was a little lazy when it came to her hair so why not let someone else do it? She is not really a talker, grunts and hisses at times. The only time she'd really talk is when she's with Tabitha.
Was Tabitha her favorite Rosewood? Yes.
But she loves them all, just loves Tabitha alot more than the other two.
Decae wore suits, acting more of an bulter to the family even if she can do the heavy lifting, Asmodeus wouldn't allow her too.
To be honest, Lilith nor Tabitha would allow her too neither, instantly calling for Asmodeus if they see Decae about to pick up anything that's in a box.
"And we're done," Tabitha breathes out after she and Decae were finally done unpacking the last box of her room.
The teen glances out window once again since she came back into her room and sighs softly. A low grunt comes from the taller woman in the room and Tabitha lets out a scoff as she walks away from the window. "I'm not looking for anyone, De." She says causing Decae to look at her blankly.
She may not know alot when it came to many things but she knows Tabitha like the back of her hand. Plus the teen kept glancing out the window as if she was expecting someone.
"Hmm," Decae hums out as she hiss pass her lips. It made Tabitha purse her lips, looking at the woman. "Fine, don't say a thing to my parents though," she says to the tall dark skinned woman who nods and lets out a grunt.
The teen bites down on her bottom lip, picking up her cat. "I think I found the one," she mumbles. "Or them, whatever they're called." She adds. She tried acting nonchalant but Decae wasn't stupid. She knew that Tabitha is excited. "I just hope I'm not wrong." Tabitha adds.
