After a wholesome supper of all the teens favourite foods like hamburgers, fries, pizzas and ice cream dessert it was that time in the evening for the highly anticipated concert performances.

The evening of the  team concert was buzzing with electric energy. The atmosphere was thick with excitement as each team prepared to showcase their hard creative work . You sat in the audience, glowing with joy,  in the front row, your face beaming under the soft stage lights.

The sound and visual art team made sure that the backdrops and the lighting were on point. You felt so filled with peace and he fact that your cute soulmate Yeonjun wasn’t bothering you anymore gave you an extra bounce in your step. It was a liberating feeling that made you even more thrilled about the concert.

You and your friends were seated on the floor in the front row.

You turned to Chaeyoung and Seulgi, your huge eyes wide with enthusiasm, "Can you guys believe how quickly the weekend fly by we made it to the final night already? Tomorrow we'll be heading back home."

Chaeyoung laughed, her excitement was mirroring yours. "I know, right? No school on Monday and tonight’s going to be epic. I can feel it in my bones!"

The dance group was the first on the program and led by none other than Yeonjun. He was awesome with his team. Soobin and Taehyun were also in the group. Their synchronization was super flawless, every move sharp, and every beat was hit with perfect precision.

The audience erupted into cheers and screams as the dancers owned the stage, delivering a jaw-dropping performance.

ow, you understand why they are the fast growing debut stars. You felt the heat in your body as you wa5ch your soulmate beform with so much talented energy. He was mesmerizing.

You friends were snickering next to you as they watch and notice your admiring eyes. You just found yourself clapping and cheering louder than ever, your heart was swelling with pride. The fact that he was yours made it so much special but for now he belongs to Yeji.

"OMG Luna! Did you see that signature  move?" Chaeyoung yelled beside you, her voice was high with excitement as you both clapped loudly.

"They’re killing it," you grinned, completely caught up in the hype.

"Wow, they’re truly and absolutely slaying it!" Seulgi shouted over the loud music.

Dahyun nodded vigorously,  "They’re truly own the stage and leave no crumbs !  Yeonjun’s been working hard with them, and it and shows. They are truly idols."

After the dance team’s exhilarating performance .Next up was the vocal team took the stage, led by the ever-talented Yeji. She looked beautiful in her stage costume. The girls were dress in short pleated checked tennis skirts,  black and pink boob tubes and their hair were glowing with glitter or colourful extensions. Their makeup was flawless and glowing glitter were on their cheeks.

They sang a flawless cover of a popular K-pop hit of Twice, and the crowd was screaming on top of their lungs by the end of it. Their harmonies were on point, the song filled with emotion and power. Yeji was mesmerizing no wonder they might debut by year end at their agency. You were truly captivated by their smooth and strong voices. What a talented group.

"Yikee, Yeji’s got some serious vocal cords," Dahyun said, nudging you as you nod, "That 'fancy'  cover of Twice was on point. Lia also did pretty well...but Yeji no contest."

You just smiled, trying not to feel envious of the girl who got to kiss and be affectionate with your soulmate all the time.

Than the drama team followed with their musical theater performance of a peace of 'Mama Mia' —a touching story that had the crowd laughing and crying in equal measure. Woobin, as the lead and Ruyin as the female lead , gave an outstanding performance, their passionate   acting and singing were filling the entire room with energy. You were pleasantly surprise to see the senior class clown.

“My goodness . I can’t believe how excellent they were!” Chaeyoung shouted over the loud applause.

“I know right!” Dahyun replied, she was grinning ear to ear.

Seulgi leaned closer to you, "I must admit, I didn't expect the drama team to be this freaking good. They nailed it. Woobin is such a great actor."

You smiled softly, "They really did good. That was truly like I was watching a professional theater company production."

The sports team’s Taekwondo performance had everyone on their feet jumping and exhuberantly applauding their strength and agility. Taehyun and San was also in this team. Their martial arts display was a combination of grace and strength, and the timing of their perfect.  Their powerful kicks and spins, were combined with synchronized choreography and great background music it was impressive.

" And antis say athletes can’t perform on stage," Chaeyoung snort, her eyes wide with admiration.

"Wow, they’re really showing off," Seulgi laughed beside you, her eyes wide as she watched a series of flawless kicks with open jaws.

"How can you blame them? I heard they’ve been practising like crazy for this day!" You said, chuckling softly also impressed.

Your instrumental team was next up, so Eunwoo rush you all to get yourself ready. The stage aids had already sat up the instruments at the back. You felt the shivers through your spine as you took your violin.

Your team took their positions behind the instruments and was waiting for the cue of Eunwoo on the piano. You performed a popular song entirely without vocals. It was totally mesmerizing. Under Eunwoo’s gentle guidance, the instruments told the entire story, and it was just as powerful as any vocal performance.

You were all shocked at the reaction of the crowd. They were almost like in a trance listening to the beautiful notes by each instrument. You blushed bright red when you open your eyes and saw the crown on their feet clapping. A rare smile was on Yeonjuns face as he clapped together with his cheering friends.

To add to the magic, the art team had transformed the stage with a beautiful backdrop of a scene out of Italy with vibrance , enhancing each performance with their own creative touch. You were all complimented for your musical talent shining through that captivated the audience without uttering a word.

"I’ve never heard that song sound so good just with instruments," a boy said to Seulgi when you left the stage after a bow,, clearly impressed. "Eunwoo’s team really did great." You nod in appreciation. Your team high five each other as you take your seats.

Amid more solo performances of the vocal and dance teams, you noticed Dahyun looking so serene and calm after her talk with Soobin. You didn't have time to asked her about her encounter.

During a quiet moment during a short break, Dahyun had gathered all of your friends—Chaeyoung and Seulgi, —and shared the details of her conversation with Soobin.

" Erm Soobin apologised, for treating me so harshly," Dahyun began, her voice was soft , "He said he felt awkward about everything and wished he had been more understanding from the start. He told me he had some kind of a little altercation with San that morning in their chalet. I told him I was sorry for putting him in that awkward position, and… that I promise not to be a nuisance anymore. I will not pursue him any more."

You leaned forward, listening intently as Dahyun continued.

"He was kind about it, though," Dahyun added biting her inner cheek,  " I’m letting him go guys, and I’ll just stop obsessing over him. It will be hard to unlove him suddenly.  I’ll also respect his relationship with Eunbin from now on because he likes her and he told me that he and Eunbin knows each other since elementary school and they've always liked each other secretly. I was sad but hey its life."

Seulgis' eyes widened, she gasped softly, "Dahyun, wow! that’s huge."

Chaeyoung smiled warmly at her, "That’s was truly brave of you, Dahyun. We’re proud of you. Soobin doesnt know what a great girl you are."

Dahyun shrugged and let out a small sigh of relief, "Thanks but I've  also asked Seulgi if I could sit with her in all the theory classes. Since you and Luna are always paired up, I figured I’d try something new. I can't sit with Soobin anymore...I'll just fall for him all over again and start the obsession afresh. I think it will be better for my mental health from now on."

Seulgi chuckled and gave her a side hug, nodding. "You’ve made the right decision, and I’m more than happy to be your desk mate from now on. Miyeon will surely agree because we fight alot in class. "

The concert was so incredible, and as it ended, everyone received merchandise from the leadership coordinators, Ms Shim and Mr Hak as souvenirs—T-shirts, caps, notebooks, cups, and your attendance certificates.

Your team was over the moon with all the cute gifts. You were elated when it was time for the big trophy awards. The audience cheered when you  learned the sports team won 1st place for leadership, the dance team took 2nd, and the vocal team was 3rd in the activities. Yeonjun got best leader, Woobin best actor and the best outbreak  performer-  to your surprise you got the trophy in that category.

You were shocked beyond measure at your teams cheers and proud hollering. Ms Shim hand the glass trophy to you and made you stand next to your soulmate.  You were so nervous and just smiled your deep dimple smile that mesmerized the crowd.

Your friends, Chaeyoung and Dahyun were practically bouncing with excitement. Eunwoo gave you a thumps up and took numerous photos of you on stage.

"This is the best camp ever! I loved it." Chaeyoung yelled, waving her own certificate in the air.

You just smirked as you stood again with your group.

You chuckled, "You two look like you’re ready to float away to lala land. "

As everyone congratulated each other, you felt a sudden pair of curious eyes on you. Yeonjun. He was watching you from across the room, and for a moment, a sudden feeling of anxiety crept up your spine. Could he be remembering glimpses of your encounter on the deck. Oh gosh, you hope not. You shook off the thought immediately, just deciding to enjoy the night’s cheer.

"Luna, we did it! We came and we conquer."  Dahyun squealed, throwing her arms around you.

Chaeyoung’s eyes sparkled with glee, "Our first and not last leadership camp, and we crushed it!"

Your new sophomore fan, Minsung, had been attending to you all night. Minsung, suddenly appeared beside you before you could dwell on it too much, flustered and blushing as he handed you bottles of flavored milk, apple juice and candy snacks.

"Luna, I—uh—got these for you," he stammered, his flustered cheeks turning rosy, "You’re so… beautiful and nice. And congrats,  your musical talent is so incredible." He gushed embarrassed.

You smiled bashfully, feeling the heat rise to your face. "Erm...thank you, Minsung. Its' so kind of you."

When he turned and left, your friends started to snicker.

Chaeyoung and Seulgi weren’t about to let you get away with it, though, "Oh, my goodness...wasn't that so sweet. Look at you blushing, Luna!" they teased, "Poor Minsungs' got it soo bad for you!"

"He’s just a sweet fan, guys." You insisted, giggling softly. "He knows I already have my soulmate mark and Im older than him though."

It still felt nice to be admired in a way that wasn’t complicated and pressured.

When Monday morning rolled around you all scurried into your bases after breakfast. The whole leadership team had the day off from school, and you all drove home, feeling excited and free.

Eunwoo sat beside you during the bus ride home, and you enjoyed shared music on your earphones, laughing and enjoying your time together.

Later that night, back at home, you found yourself alone with your Aunt Ines, who had stayed at home to wait for you. The bus dropped all the students at school were their parents picked them up. Dahyuns' mom dropped you at home.

As you sat together, you were hesitating for a moment, then spoke up,  "Aunt Ines, I’ve been thinking about my mission with the potion.Something so strange happened. My soulmate and I were led together  by the Oracle... or the system, whatever it was.It was trace-like. We unbeknownst activated our bond. Something urged me to drink the portion."

Aunt Ines smiled looking pleased but also slightly concerned, "And how did you feel when the bond was sealed that night...was the soulblinding successful?"

"It felt...so right," you replied softly, "It was like everything in my life finally made sense.  But..." you trailed off, noticing the sudden worry in her aunt’s eye, "pasa? Pareces preocupado. What’s wrong? You seem concerned."

You looked at the strange emotion flashing in  Aunt Ines  eyes.

Aunt Ines shook her head gently. "Oh, no es nada, Luna. Solo que... a veces estas cosas no son tan simples como parecen. Pero mientras ya no tengas visiones ni pesadillas, entonces está bien. Oh, it’s nothing,my dear Luna. Just... sometimes these happenings aren’t as simple as they may seem. For the family we don't want you’re  having visions or nightmares anymore, then that’s good."

You nodded than smiled, reassuring her, "No más pesadillas. Ahora todo se siente... tranquilo.No more nightmares aunty. Everything feels... peaceful now."

......
The next day

At school, your friends had noticed the sudden shift in
your demeanor. You radiated joy, even your rare beauty was enhanced by the bond. Even Eunwoo had complimented you on your radiance. You were finally happy.

Chaeyoung and Seulgi also noticed the change in your energy, "You’re like a total different person, so sunny and bubbly, " Seulgi exclaimed. "But in the best way possible."

"Ahhh, you look like you’re glowing, Luna," Eunwoo had said with a gentle smile, "would you guys want to join me and my soulmate for lunch this afternoon after school. I want you to meet her?"

Your friends also had accepted and couldnt wait, and the lunch with Eunwoo and his very pretty girlfriend was filled with laughter and lighthearted conversation. His girlfriend thanked you for helping shield Eunwoo from unwanted attention from over zealous fangirls.

Music room

In your music theory class, the music teacher announced about your upcoming recital. You will be playing the violin as an item. There was a sense of quiet excitement as you and your friends practiced your shosen pieces. You were so grateful that Yeji and her friends were leaving you alone for now. You even stayed out of Yeonjuns' path.

Meanwhile Dahyun, had truly stuck to her promise to get over Soobin. Everyone was shocked at her abrupt change in behaviour and attitude. She was ice cold and refrain from helping Soobin with his duties in class. You sensed that Soobin was a little affected by Dahyuns sudden coldness. She was determined and the atmosphere was felt in class.

She expertly ignored Soobin and Eunbin, only nodding politely when necessary, but otherwise she was calmly keeping her distance. She had than permanently become Seulgi’s desk mate at the back where you and Chaeyoung sat, while Eunbin and Soobin sat together.

During the cause of the week, You overheard unexpected whispers about Yeonjun’s upcoming 18th birthday. Their MOA fanbased had eleborate activities planned to commemorate his 18th birthday, and his friends were buzzing with unmerited excitement. It was a huge deal. His soulmate gate will be open and the awareness to find his soulmate will start. Truly exciting times for any 18th year old.

"Whoo-whoo our idol, Yeonjun’s going to find his true soulmate soon," one of his friends remarked, nudging him playfully. He just snorted.

Yeji his current girlfriend was full of confidence, nodded smugly, "I’m pretty sure I'll be his soulmate. We already like each other. That is a sure piece of evidence."

You watched Yeonjun’s expression from afar. He looked a little  uneasy, as if the pressure of it all was a burden on him. The school admin had given the TXT idols special leave from school for his birthday celebration with his agency and family and while everyone was super hyped up for the exclusive celebration you felt a pang of sadness.

You couldn’t even wish him a happy birthday, not wanting to stir sleeping dogs. You kept your distance  during that time.

But it was during the third week after the camp, that something strange happened. It was the seniors' exam week, and you could sense a shift in the atmosphere.

Something  eerie was looming- you just couldnt place your finger on it.

Three weeks later...

It had been three weeks since the leadership camp, and your daily life was unexpectedly peaceful. That constant anxiety, fear and tension that had plagued you were gone, and replaced by a sense of lightness and joy.

At school, you were laughing out loud and enjoying your lessons even more than ever. To the delight of your teachers. Even at home, your family was truly elated to see you - no longer sulking or lost in your own inner world. All those nightmares and gory visions that had once haunted your daily life seemed like a distant memory. Everything felt just right.

To your surprise, Yeonjun hadn't paid you any attention since the leadership camp. He was either too busy studying for his final exams, or idol schedules or spending time with Yeji , but strangely  his TXT members and friends were constantly watching you from afar.

It was so perplexing to them that Yeonjun seemed to have forgotten about your existence but you knew better. Though his friends' constant teasing about him about you only caused to intrigue him more, even if he didn't show it.

You and your friends also overheard whispers in the halls about Yeji's upcoming 18th birthday bash. She was hyped up, because when she turn 18 her awareness will also occur and she will be able to halfbond with Yeonjun and see his neon soulmark.

It was supposed to be the biggest bash of the year, held at her family mansion and exclusive only to the senior classes.Strictly by invitation.

You couldn't help but feel a pang in your chest every time you saw Yeonjun in the cafeteria, the hallways, or the dance studio. You longed to be with him, but you knew you had to let him go—to keep him safe from the Oracle's radar.

Yet, despite your outward cheerfulness, something was gnawing inside of you. Your elder family members at home constantly  exchanged secret glances, almost as if they were surprised by your new attitude. They think you didnt notice , even if you tried to brush it off, but that uneasy feeling lingered.

....Then everything flipped and strange things started to happen the start of the new month. That week, you experienced sleepless nights. Horrid night terrors plagued your dreams, waking you screaming  as well as your entire family.

But when you woke up disoriented, the dreams memories were gone, leaving only the fear and anxiety behind. Your friends even started to noticed your weariness , the dark circles under your eyes were so contrasting as the previous months joy and cheerfulness.

The Incident in English Class:

It was just after just after lunch, and you were all seated in English class. Miss Shim was  explaining the outline for your language exam paper  with seriousness when suddenly, the air in the classroom shifted. It was as if the entire class walls and students just vanished as fog enveloped the room , leaving only you and Miss Shim in the class room.

You blinked several times, trying to make sense of what you were experiencing, but Miss Shim had suddenly changed when you look back at her.

Her  tan skin turned gashly pale and ashy, thick black liquid flowed from her mouth, and she let out an eeerie maniacal laugh that echoed through the empty class. Her crooked teeth was blackened, and her hair beautiful brown hair transformed into black wires that twisted around her small face. Her small eyes, change now deep crimson red, stared maliciously into yours, filling you with a cold, paralyzing fear.

"Luna ...you'll never thwart the pursuits of the Oracle," she spoke in a detached, eerie voice that sent icy chills down your spine,  "We are too strong... we will never set you free... a BLOOD sacrifice is your REDEMPTION."

Your heart beat erractically in your chest as you tried to process the phantoms words. The fear you felt was overwhelming, and before you knew it, you abruptly  jumped up from your seat.

Everything immediately snapped back to normal. Your breath uneven. You looked wide -eyed at your snickering classmates at your abrupt movement, even Miss Shim stared at you with confusion.Your face paled instantly.

You uttered with a strained tone in your trembling voice, "I—I forgot to inform the school director of an important message my father gave me for him, ma''am" you stammered. Without waiting for her permission, you sprinted out of the classroom, running down the long empty hallway to the nearest restroom that was located at the end, down the flight of stairs.

The Restroom Encounter

You reached the restroom and stumbled over the sink, your felt nauseated as you gripped  the edges of the basin as you tried to regulate your breathing. Your heart was pounding erratically in your chest. A sweet, spicy aroma filled the restroom—indicating that someone was likely smoking in one of the cubicles. You didn't care.

As you glanced at your reflection in the mirror, you were  horrified by your pale face and dark circles staring back at you. You splashed refreshing cold water on your face, hoping to wash away the fear that sticked to you like a shadow.

But then, the aura in the restroom changed again. The walls grew icy, frost was silently creeping up from the skirting to the ceiling.The room was engulfed in a flowing fog. Huge icicles started emerging on the ceiling, and the mirrors started to fog over.

The deep fear inside you intensified as you glanced into the mirror, only to see a shadow form materializing behind you in the mirror. You were frozen in place as white ashen arms reached out from the mirror and cold fingers grabbed your neck violently.

You could feel your life force draining away, as your mouth open in a silent scream,your eyes wide with terror as your head was jerked back and forth due to the violent hands. The icy grip tightened around your thin neck, choking you, as the image in the mirror began to chant—the same unmistakable chant you had used to soulblind Yeonjun a month ago.

The misty shadow took shape from the mirror and effortlessly got hold of your neck with some kind of supernatural grip. You were then unceremoniously hurled back across the restroom floor like an old rag doll and tumbled to the freezing white tile floor, with a slight thud.

The only thing you have noticed before all the senses had gone was the rest room’s shiny metal taps which were rushing dirty and muddy water and even overflowing the basins and spreading like a dark bubbly pool over the seemingly lifeless body.

Aftermath

A dreadful scream was echoing throught the school hallways and a shocked nearby janitor rushed frantically  into the restroom, with by a wide eyed teacher who had been standing, speaking with a girl in the hallway .

The mere sight that greeted the two adults were more horrifying than they could have ever imagined. Shivers run up their spines as they expected the worse case scenario.

A girls' body laid motionless in the flowing pool of murky water  which were gushing from the sinks.

The off-limits restroom was  filled with an overwhelming sense of dread.
