THE OPEN SECRET

"Yi Chen, why are you still standing there? Aren't you leaving?" Dong Ding asked, a hint of curiosity in her voice.

Yi Chen hesitated, "I have many questions ___"

Manager Mo intervened, "Ah, yes! You have many questions to ask. Right, Yi Chen?" He smiled knowingly.

Yi Chen nodded, her eyes pleading for answers. "I'm a rookie manga artist with no original works. What am I supposed to do?"

Manager Mo's expression turned encouraging. "My little heart, I know you're talented. Take a week to gain inspiration from your surroundings, and you'll come up with a new original story."

Dong Ding nodded in agreement, her eyes shining with support.

Manager Mo continued, "So, go out there, get inspired, I'm already helping you get your name on the list. For your future in this job, you have to work hard!"

With that, he left with Dong Ding, leaving Yi Chen to her thoughts.

The next morning, Yi Chen's peaceful slumber was disrupted by Yu Jin's loud shouting. "Chen! What the hell is this?!"

Yi Chen rushed into the living room, bleary-eyed, to find Yu Jin holding up a brothel ticket amidst the trash scattered around the room.

Yu Jin's expression was a mix of shock and disbelief. "What have you been up to, Yi Chen?!"

Yi Chen's face flushed as she grabbed the ticket from Yu Jin and hastily threw it off of the balcony. Unfortunately, it landed on the heads of two school students, who were in the middle of a romantic moment.

The ticket stuck to the boy's hair, and as he pulled it out, his face turned bright red. "Little bit sex?!" the girl read aloud, her cheeks flushing in unison.

Yi Chen and Yu Jin burst out laughing and quickly sat down on the floor, hiding from view.

Yu Jin burst out laughing, "What happened to you?! What the hell are you doing?!"

Yi Chen grinned mischievously, "Trying to get inspiration!"

Yu Jin chuckled, "By interrupting a romantic moment?!"

Yi Chen laughed, "Not at all! I was just___ um____ researching first love."

Yu Jin raised an eyebrow, "Researching?!"

Yi Chen nodded enthusiastically, "Yes! And I think I just found my inspiration!"

Yu Jin shook her head, laughing, "Well, clean up this mess, and now it's my time to go to work. I have a class to teach!"

As Yu Jin headed out, she glanced at the balcony and teased, "Look, the lovebirds fled because of you!"

Yi Chen whispered, "They're just shy, it's a normal part of first love."

Yu Jin smirked, "Oh, really? And how would you know, Miss ?"

"That____!" Yi Chen answered Yu Jin's first comment. She came with another one.

"Ahhh___ do you not have a first love at college?!"

Yi Chen became a little bit angry. "Don't bring up that love of me with that Blaster! And___  I did have a pure and beautiful first love at school."

"An unrequited love!" Yi Chen whispers.

Yu Jin's eyes lit up, "Ah, now that's a story I want to hear!"

"Ahhh!" Hearing that, Yi Chen's eyes sparkled, because now she got the idea to draw her original story.

"I've got my inspiration now!" And saying it , she dashed into her room, eager to start creating, leaving Yu Jin to wonder what had just happened.

When everyone takes their first love, they are dating for the first time. Yi Chen was a person who accepted her first love, her unrequited love, which she spent almost 5 years with.
