"Let's hurry Tori, it's almost eight o'clock and it's going to start," I tell Tori and I try to pull her hands.
"Yes, yes, I'm coming," Tori laughs and I pull her from the car to the door. I wait beside her as she puts her key in and when she pushes it open I run inside.
"Oli, turn on the lights in the living room and kitchen before turning on the television, I left the lamps in the living room on so make sure to turn those off," Tori tells me.
"Okay!" I go inside to turn off the lights and turn on the lights in the living room but when the lights come on there are four strangers sitting in chairs. Who is this stranger? Why is he in our house?
"Don't say anything please kid. Come stand here beside me," the man in the middle smiles. I slowly walk to him and wait for Tori. Maybe she knows the stranger. When Tori comes, she looks upset and they're both talking, I don't understand what they're saying. Why is he talking to Tori? Why can't I stand beside Tori?
I watch the bad man tell Tori to turn around and he looks at her back, what's that funny writing on her back? It's weird. I start crying when the stranger starts getting angry, he's scary. Tori takes my hand and we all go outside into a car and we leave the house, her arm wraps around my shoulder and hugs me, it's quiet.
"Oli, sweetie, focus on me." I lift my head to look at Tori and see we're outside Aunt Charlotte's house. Why are we here again? "Listen to me very carefully. I'm dropping you off at your Aunt's house for a sleepover," she tells me and the car door opens, a hand pulls me out.
"Tori, Tori don't go!" I yell and she puts a hand on my cheeks, looking at me.
"Go knock on the door Oli," she tells me and I go out, look back at Tori but the man at the front has a scary face, I don't like his face. I hear Tori say tell Uncle she's sorry but why is she sorry? I run to the door and ring the bell waiting for Aunt Charlotte.

I wake up to knocking on the door or actually Wren wakes me up telling me someone is knocking at the door. I glance at the time on my phone and see it's almost nine and I wasn't dreaming when I heard sounds coming from downstairs.
"Mommy, is it Jax?" Wren asks me as he follows me down the stairs.
"I don't know, maybe though your brother should have his keys to the house," I answer as I flick on the entryway lights. I tug on the sweater I stole from Jax a while back and I just hope that something hasn't happened to Jax while he's on the job right now.
From what he told me, It doesn't sound too good in the downtown part of the city and he would most likely reach home late tonight. I look through the spy hole but don't see anyone, only the empty and dark streets. I feel a little uneasy but maybe it was nothing.
"C'mon Wren, no one is here so let's go back to-" The doorbell rings again. Okay, Wren wasn't imagining it and it seems neither was I. I open the door and the first thing I hear is sniffles coming from below me. I look down and see Oli standing in front of me, tears streaming down his face and my eyes widen in alarm as I drop to my knees.
"Oli? Sweetheart, look at me," I tell him as I turn his face towards mine. There are so many questions running in my head. Why is Oli here right now and how did he get here? Is he hurt? Where is Victoria? For now I have to get him inside, I don't know how long he's been outside and he's dressed in the same clothes he was wearing yesterday.
"Wren, can you go grab my cellphone? It's in the bedroom," I instruct as I slowly lead Oli inside, locking the door behind him. "Let's get those shoes and jacket off Oli and then I'll give you something warm to drink," I tell him as I coax him into toeing them off and handing me his jacket. I take him by the hand, turning on the lights in the living room and draping his jacket on the sofa before moving to the kitchen. I set him up at the island before quickly moving to make a cup of hot chocolate, the same Wren likes when he has trouble sleeping.
"Aunt Charlotte, Tori is gone," I hear Oli whimper. I put the milk to a low simmer as Wren walks into the kitchen handing me my phone and moves to sit next to Oli.
"Oli, what are you talking about? Who took her?" I ask him in a calm voice. "What happened?"
"There, there was a scary man at the house and he told me not to shout and he was talking to Tori and Tori looked scared," he says gasping as he cries. I turn off the stove moving the pot to the side as I rush over and pull him into my arms.
"Breathe with me Oli. Take a nice deep breath in and slowly let it out, follow me," I tell him as I try to get him to mimic me. It takes a couple of tries but he starts to calm down, the beginnings of the panic attack slowly subsiding.
"Okay, so you said that someone was waiting at your house and he wanted to talk to Tori?" I ask going over what he just said.
"Yeah, and then he wanted to look at something on Tori's back, there was something weird on it and then the man told the other man to take Tori away but she told him to bring me here," he explains. The person who was waiting at home for Victoria, I'm one-hundred percent sure it's that man that's been after her.
"When did they take Tori away?" I question.
"The other man said I'm a small kid and no one will find Tori," he says before starting to cry again.
"Oh sweetheart, you were so strong, and I know Tori will be fine, I promise," I say giving him a tight squeeze. "Let me give you and Wren a cup of hot chocolate and then I'll go call your uncle, okay?"
"Okay," he sniffles as I pull back. Wren passes Oli some tissues I didn't even notice he had and a sense of warmth passes me at how attentive he's being.
"How many marshmallows do you two want?" I question as I pour the drinks into two mugs.
"Two please," Oli says in a quiet voice.
"Me too," Wren vocalized after him.
"Alright, here you go boys," I say placing the drinks in front of them. "Be careful, it's still a little hot so wait a bit. I'm going upstairs to check on the babies but if you need me call for me okay?"
"Mommy, can we watch some t.v?" Wren questions.
"Sure, why don't you got sit at the coffee table and I'll bring these over for you," I say with a smile. Wren takes Oli's hand, pulling him along while I walk behind them with both drinks in hand. Right now Oli needs a distraction not to mention Wren considering he heard everything right now. Even if I told him to step out while I talked to Oli, he probably would have asked him anyways to get the information.
"Alright, here you two go," I say placing the drinks in front of them and turning on the television to some late-night cartoon. "Call me if you need me okay?" I instruct before turning to go up the stairs. I turn on the lamps in the bedroom and quickly look over the twins, both still knocked out to the world before moving to sit down on the bed dialling Jason's number.
"Char, what's wrong? Are you calling for Jax? I can tell him you were-"
"Jason, slow down, I'm not calling to talk to Jax, I need to talk to you," I say interrupting him.
"Okay, now I definitely know something is wrong," he answers and I can hear the frown in his voice.
"There is. Jason, Oli just showed up at my door fifteen minutes ago, by himself," I tell him.
"What!" he shouts. "By himself? Where's Victoria?" he demands.
"That's the thing, you know that guy you were looking for? Oli said that there were some men in your house waiting for them and I think that he was one of them," I explain.
"Fuck, fuck, what else did he tell you?" he questions.
"The guy wanted to look at something on her back and then Victoria told him to get one of his men to bring Oli here after some time. That was just an hour ago so they probably waited until they were far away before bringing him here," I tell him.
"Her back, wait, there's a tattoo on her back in Japanese writing and you said Oli saw it?" he questions rapidly.
"Yeah, why?" I ask moving to stand.
"Can you get Oli to write down what he saw? He has a photographic memory from what I saw and I know he should be able to remember everything," he instructs.
"Okay, and are you coming back right now?" I ask as I move to grab one of the baby monitors as I go back downstairs.
"I'm going to pass this off to one of the other investigators and leave, I'll probably grab Jax too," he answers. "And I'm going to call the three officers that are working Victoria's case to come over to your house."
"Alright, I'll see you in a bit, drive safe," I tell him before hanging up. I walk back into the living room finding both boys engrossed in whatever they're watching, relieved that Oli has calm down for the time being, and I move towards the kitchen grabbing some papers and a pencil.
"Oli, I need you to do something very important for me, Wren can you turn off the television for a moment? And can you put the mugs in the sink for me, I'll wash them later," I question as I go to sit across from them placing the papers and pencil in front of Oli.
"What are we doing Aunty Charlotte?" Oli asks looking at the papers and then me.
"Do you remember what was on Victoria's back? The weird writing," I ask and he thinks for a moment before nodding his head. "Can you write it down for me? Exactly the way you saw it." He nods his head again before picking up the pencil and writing out the lettering on the paper. After a couple of minutes the doorbell rings and I get up walking to the door already knowing who's most likely waiting outside.
"Are you Charlotte Dawson?" the female officer questions.
"Yes, you must be the officers working Victoria's case, come in," I tell them holding the door open.
"Jason's nephew, do you remember me?" the female officer questions as she walks up to Oli.
"I remember," Oli answers turning to face her.
"We heard you have something for us to help Victoria, can we see it?" she questions. Oli hands her the paper with the Japanese writing.
"Felix, find out what this means," she says walking up to a man with hair falling in front of his eyes. "Sorry for the late introduction. I'm Natalia and these two are Nash and Felix."
"It's nice to meet you three," I reply to the three of them.
"Is there a place I can put my things down?" the man named Felix questions. I take in he's holding two laptop bags in his hands.
"We don't have a dining table but if you don't mind, the kitchen island is free," I tell him pointing to the kitchen.
"I'm going to take note of what happened at Jason's house from Oli," the other man, Nash, tells Natalia.
"You do that, we need to find her fast. We don't know what will happen to her if we don't find her in time, we already saw what happened to the other officers that were trailing her," she tells both of them and they nod their heads silently agreeing, from the tones of their voice it doesn't sound good.
"Charlotte, did you see anyone when you opened the door and found Oli outside?" she asks me.
"No, I didn't see anyone in the streets. They must have just dropped him here and then took off," I answer. "You were saying there were officers trailing Victoria, what happened to them if you're allowed to tell me." Her face pinches for a moment before sighing.
"She had two officers guarding her during the day, it was a precautionary measure we put in place after the car accident. We got word that both were found dead in their car," she answers and I hold back my gasp.
"I'm so sorry that happened," I tell her softly.
"Me too, but now I just want to find those bastards and put them in jail. Victoria seems like an interesting person and I'd love to become friends with her after all this is done," she says in an honest voice.
"I think she'd like that," I reply with a smile. Before I can say anything else twin cries come through the baby monitor in my hand.
"Go check on your kids, I'll check and see how Felix is faring," she says with a smile before going in the direction of the kitchen. I quickly go upstairs taking two at a time going back to the bedroom. I look in each crib and find both boys wide awake, as soon as they see my face they break into smiles.
"Let's see why you two woke up, do we need to do a diaper change," I mutter as I quickly check Jayden before moving to Justin. "You two don't need a diaper change so your most likely hungry, let's go get you two fed." I take each one of them in my arm and walk out of the room going back downstairs to where the rest are.
Once upon a time, I'd be wary carrying both of them at the same time but now that they're almost eight months, I have enough confidence to know I won't drop them. I get down from the last step when I hear loud and fast talking coming from the kitchen. Both boys are back to watching the television and I go past them to the kitchen.
"Charlotte, great news," Natalia says once she sees me. "We know where they're going."

A/N We're going back to chapter 31 in the eyes of other characters. Yes, we had a split chapter. And yes, Charlotte is here!! I'll be honest, it was a challenge putting a whole chapter in Oli's p.o.v, it's not easy writing in the eyes of a kid which is why we have the split chapter. And Oli might have very good English when speaking but the way I portrayed him so far, he is far smarter for his age. The next bonus chapter is already underway, so keep your notifications on so you don't miss out.
Be sure to leave your thoughts of the chapter in the comments!!
