It might be too late 

What did that mean? 

I put down my roller and sighed looking at the advertisement I was doing today. It was about a skin cream that I didn't; like but hey money is money. 

I put on the blue dress and people came to put on my makeup and do my hair, after they were done I entered the set and waited for my cue to go in. 

The director decided to put on a little skit with us three sisters so it was like we were at home. 

Zoya's line's "Oh my god I am so tired from that shoot!" 

Humna's lines "I know right, Sorsha had us do push up's and we had to reshoot that scene over 15 times!"

Zoya's line "Ugh, my skin needs a pick me up!" And then she reaches for the company's rival skin cream (nivea) and applied it on her skin. The funny thing is, Zoya loves that night cream and was actually going to say no but the money was huge. 

The director yelled cut and then makeup artists quickly came in and applied blotchy skin on her to make it seem like it was Nivea's fault. 

Honestly, who believes in these advertisements? 

Everyone went back to there places while I placed myself outside the fake door ready to enter soon.

Humna's lines "OMG Zoya what happened to your face?!" 

Zoya absentmindedly says "Huh?" As if we don't face the mirror while applying cream. 

And then she lets out a scream. 

I take a deep breath and enter the set, happiness written all over my face. 

My line "Hey guys, I heard screaming what- OMG Zoya did you do your makeup again?" 

Zoya's line "No Zaara, I didn't." And then she angrily turns back to the mirror trying to rub off the spots. 

Humna's line "It's that Nivea cream." 

Zoya tuns to me and says "Why is your skin so clear?" 

And then I laugh and say "Oh because," And then someone secretly hands me the Eugoa bottle "I put on Eugoa!" 

Humna and Zoya stare at each other and then say at the same time "What's Eugoa?" 

I then face the camera with a even bigger smile then before 

"Eugoa, marked the #1 cream by hundreds of people on the planet!"

Lies 

my line "Say no more to itchy skin, welcome the new all Eugoa made with 100% fruits and vegetables!" 

I then apply some of it on my skin while Humna makes a face and says "mmm smell's yummy!" 

and that's a wrap. 

Me, Humna, and Zoya all go to Humna's van to rest and pack up. 

"Ugh the amount of lies in advertisements are astounding!" Zoya said while removing the blotchy makeup. 

I shrugged "Thats the world for you." 

Humna came out of the attached bathroom wearing her home clothes and folded the set clothes. 

Zoya went next and then me. 

After we were done, we all said goodbye to the director and crew and then walked home since we didn't live far from the set and it was good weather. 

"Should we be doing this? We're famous guys what if we get attacked?" Humna was paranoid because she had heard someone had attacked Genevieve Monfai a not so famous actress. 

Of course the more famous, the more high you are on the attacker list but we were in the area and there was heavy security everywhere. 

"We'll be fine." Zoya said while breathing in the air. 

"Yeah, and besides we need to talk about what Maria said yesterday." Humna and Zoya nodded and we went into detail about what we knew so far about Rayyana which is very short

1. She's hiding in our house for how many years? We don't know 

2. She likes the colour purple and has her hair up in a ponytail whenever we see her 

3. We figure out why she's hiding but what will be the cost? And what does Maria mean by "It might be too late" ? 

And thats it. 

We all entered our property and opened the door but stopped when we heard shouting. 

"No way Amir, there is no way I am talking to her! How many times must I say this?" 

Our mother was shouting at our uncle about talking to someone? My ears perked up and I turned back to Zoya and Humna who were staring at me confused. 

"Mother is shouting at Uncle...I think it's about Rayyana." 

We all huddled closer and tried to hear what they were saying 

"Aya, how long is she going to be like this? It's been 13 years! And you know that you are one of the main reasons why!" 

There was a pause as mother hesitated "Do you think I don't know that Amir? I feel guilty everyday but me talking to her won't help! We need her out of this house before someone finds out." 

We all lightly gasp and move away from the door before mother sees us and run towards the back entrance of the house. 

We all stop and think for a second, none of us saying a word. 

"Mother wants to get rid of Rayyana." I said calmly

By rid does she mean kick Rayyana out or.....kill her? 

Welp, one more thing to add to the list. 

1. Rayyana's hiding in our house for how many years? We don't know 

2. She likes the colour purple and has her hair up in a ponytail whenever we see her 

3. We figure out why she's hiding but what will be the cost? And what does Maria mean by "It might be too late" ? 

4. Mother wants to get rid of Rayyana, does that mean kill? And is that what Maria meant by "it might be too late" ?
