MANOR SAFE-HOUSE

The next day, in Christy's sunny bedroom, she lays in bed, asleep. And the smell of breakfast food slowly wakes her up.

Christy gets up from bed and walks out, closes the door behind her. She walks down the hallway and down the stairs and into the living room.

Ana, Luna and Trinity are sitting at the kitchen table, eating pancakes and a plastic pitcher of orange juice.

"Hey, guys." Christy greeted the three of them.

"Hey, Mom." Trinity greeted her Mom.

"And by the way, Dad's on his way here." Luna added.

"Okay." Christy said.

"I brought some blueberries." Ana said.

Alright." Christy said, walking inside the kitchen and sees Klaus at the kitchen countertop, eating the blueberries.

"Klaus?" Christy said.

"Hello, Love." Klaus greeted his wife with a small smile.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, slowly walks up to him. "You're supposed to be with Elijah?"

"Elijah will contact me once he has something." Klaus said.

"Oh, okay." Christy said, slowly walk towards the double door refrigerator and opens it, getting a yogurt smoothie bottle. "There's breakfast in the living room."

"I know." Klaus said, gently taking the yogurt smoothie bottle from Christy's hand. And puts it back in the refrigerator door.

"I was gonna drink that." Christy said.

Klaus chuckled, softly. "I know."

Christy looks at Klaus as he makes her a bowl of cereal. He pours some granola oats into a bowl and adds some blueberries, along with milk.

"Aww, so sweet of you." Christy said with a small smile.

"Don't make this a habit." Klaus said, handing her the bowl of cereal.

"I won't." Christy said, gently taking the bowl of cereal and spoon. "I have to go back to New Orleans anyway."

"The Sphinx?" Klaus said.

"Yeah. The Sphinx." Christy said.

"I have to get back to Elijah. Just be careful." Klaus said.

"You too." Christy said.

Klaus and Christy shares a kiss and he walks away. And she takes a spoonful of her cereal.

Later on that day, Christy is inside the big room where the big empty dark hole.

With a flare, she gently drops it into the big empty dark hole. And she leaps down into it. She falls for a while and lands on the ground of the sand in a crouched stance.

The flare illuminates the big empty dark hole, which reveals skeletons, skulls and bones.

"Shit." Christy said.

At the manor safe-house, in the living room, Luna and Trinity are sitting on the three seat sofa, playing video games.

"Hey, Lu. Trinity. Where did your Mom went off to?" Ana asked, sitting in a sofa chair.

"She went to check out the Sphinx thing." Trinity told her. "She'll be back."

"Okay." Ana said.

And Luna wins the video game. "Ha. I win."

"Rematch." Trinity said.

"Really, Squirt?" Luna said.

"Yeah, really, unless, you're scaredy-cat." Trinity bantered, playfully teasing her older sister.

"Me? Scaredy-cat? Nah." Luna bantered back at her little sister.

Luna and Trinity playfully sticks out their tongues at each other, which makes Ana chuckle at their sisterly bantering.

And then, a breaking news comes on TV.

Breaking News (TV) : Good afternoon, city of New Orleans. There is a possibility of a sandstorm that's approaching in a few hours. Families, I suggest you get home safely.

"A sandstorm? Really?" Trinity said.

"A sandstorm is in the desert." Luna said.

And then, Ana, Luna and Trinity exchange worried looks at each other upon realizing that Christy is out and about in the desert.

"Mom?" Luna said, and pulls out her phone and speed dials her mother's, Christy's, phone.

"Luna?" Christy said on the phone.

"Mom? You need to come back home to the manor safe-house right now. There's gonna be a sandstorm in a few hours." Luna told her Mother, worriedly.

"Alright, I'm on my way." Christy said.

"Don't hang up, just stay on the phone, okay?" Luna said.

"Alright." Christy said on the phone.

Ana, Luna and Trinity exchange worried looks at each other.

OUTSKIRTS OF NEW ORLEANS / OPEN DESERT ROAD

That late afternoon, after leaving the Sphinx, Christy is driving back to New Orleans in her orange vintage Honda Civic Hatchback car.

"Mom? Are you still there?" Luna asked on the speakerphone.

"Yeah, I'm still here, sweetheart." Christy said to her oldest daughter. "I'm driving back to New Orleans."

"Okay, Dad and the others just got here to the manor safe-house too." Luna told her on the speakerphone.

Christy looks at the rearview mirror and sees the sandstorm. "Oh, crap."

"It's the sandstorm, isn't it?" Luna said.

"Yep." Christy said.

"Can you drive any faster?" Rebekah asked on the speakerphone.

"If I drive any faster, Rebekah, I'll be low on gas fuel, and there's not a gas station anywhere in the open road desert."Christy told her sister-in-law.

"Chris? Drive up to the New Orleans sign, I'll meet you there." Klaus told her.

"But Klaus?" Christy started to say.

But Klaus remains worried. "Don't argue with me, Christiana. Just meet me there."

"Okay." Christy said, and hangs up her phone. And proceeds to drive away from the ongoing sandstorm.

MANOR SAFE-HOUSE

That evening, Klaus walks into the foyer with his car keys. Elijah, Rebekah, Kol and Freya.

"Niklaus? Be careful in the sandstorm." Elijah said.

"I will." Klaus said to Elijah. "You guys stay here with Luna and Trinity."

Klaus walks away, closing the door behind him.

Christy arrives back in New Orleans, just as the sandstorm collides with her orange vintage Honda Civic Hatchback car, sending it off the road and into the woods.

Klaus drives through the sandstorm in his SUV and sees Christy's orange vintage Honda Civic Hatchback car off the road.

Klaus drives up to the car and gets out. And walks up to the car.

"Christiana?!" Klaus exclaimed.

"Klaus?" Christy said with a few bruises on her face.

Klaus crouches down and sees Christy upside down in the driver's seat. "Chris? Can you teleport?"

Christy teleports away in the golden dust. And onto the road. Klaus vamp-sped them both into his SUV and drives away.

"It was Persephone." Christy told her husband.

"We'll talk when we get back to the manor safe-house." Klaus said.

MANOR SAFE-HOUSE

That night, Klaus and Christy had arrived back at the safe-house. And is now, sitting in the living room with everyone else.

"Persephone was the one that awakened Emperor Junius from his sarcophagus. And there's bones and skeletons in the big empty dark hole." Christy told everyone.

"So, what the bloody hell do we do?" Rebekah asked.

"Don't know." Christy said. "And this sandstorm is just the beginning of something else."

Christy slowly walks inside Luna's bedroom. She, Luna and Trinity exchange looks at each other.

"Hey, Mom." Luna greeted her.

"Hey, sweethearts." Christy greeted both her daughters.

"What's wrong?" Trinity asked.

"I'm sorry for scaring you both. I didn't know about the sandstorm until the last minute." Christy apologized.

"It's okay, Mom. You didn't know about the sandstorm. But to make you feel a little better, we're glad you're okay." Luna reassured her.

Christy, Luna and Trinity exchange small smiles at each other.

"Love you Mom." Luna and Trinity said in unison.

"Love you too, sweethearts." Christy said to her daughters.

Meek Meerkat stands up in its popsicle house. Christy gently soothes its head with her finger. Meek Meerkat looks up at her and small smiles.

"Love you too, Meek." Christy said to it and walks away.

Christy slowly walks into Klaus's and hers darkened bedroom. She slowly walks up to the window and looks out at the sandstorm, which has covered everything.

Klaus slowly walks up beside her and gently caresses her cheek with his hand. Christy turns around to look at him, gently cups his face with her hands.

Klaus kisses her and she kisses him back. They both embrace their kiss. He gently lifts her up in his arms and slowly walks over to their bed and gently lays her down on it, undressing each other while passionately kissing each other, and becoming intimate with each other, making love each other in a while.

Minutes after, Klaus and Christy lays in bed, underneath the fluffy crimson bedcover, shirtless, wearing his boxer briefs and her undies. The fluffy bedcover is covering the lower half of his body and her torso and lower half of her body.

He's gently laying beside her, gently spooning her. And she's laying in front of him.

Christy slowly opens her eyes and just lays there. But she couldn't help but to worry about what else is there to come.
