Chapter Ten

ST. JAMES INFIRMARY

The next day, Kol and Christy slowly walks inside the empty jazz club safe-house.

{Christy's Outfit}

"Seems as though, your bestie, Vincent, stood you up." Kol said, gently taking himself a bourbon.

"Vincent's probably at his apartment or at the Lafayette Cemetery." Christy said to her brother-in-law.

Kol and Christy exchange looks at each other. She looks at her magic tarot card in a mason jar.

"My magic tarot card." Christy said, walks up to the mason jar and gently takes out her tarot card.

"What does your tarot card mean?" Kol asked, taking a swig of his bourbon.

"It's a warning tarot card." Christy told Kol. "It lets me know when something's off or something terrible."

Kol looks intrigued.

Christy then, looks at Vincent's phone in the same mason jar and gently takes it in her hand.

"This is Vincent's phone." Christy said, and looks at a video.

Vincent (video phone) Christy? It's me. You wanted me and Marcel to check out the ancient chamber and we both did. And I'm telling you have to destroy it. ASAP.

Kol and Christy exchange looks at each other.

โšœ๏ธโšœ๏ธ

OPEN DESERT ROAD

In Christy's Honda Civic hatchback car, Christy is driving on the road, headed to the ancient chamber to destroy it once and for all.

"Nik told me and Rebekah that the Elder Gods and Elder Goddess created the ancient chamber." Kol said, sitting in the passenger's seat.

"They did. Unless, Marcalos corrupted it with his Underworld magic mojo." Christy told her brother-in-law.

โšœ๏ธโšœ๏ธ

ANCIENT CHAMBER

Christy drives up to the chamber. She and Kol both gets out of the car, and gently closes the car doors.

"How are you gonna destroy this entire ancient chamber thing?" Kol asked.

"I don't know, but I will." Christy said.

And Dimitris telepathically communicates with his granddaughter, Christy. "Christiana? Can you hear me?"

Christy telepathically communicates to her grandfather, Dimitris. "I can hear you, grandpa."

"You and Kol stay back." Dimitris said to her.

Christy looks at Kol. "Kol? We have to get back."

Kol and Christy scurries back to her Honda Civic Hatchback bar as the ancient chamber rumbles and destroys itself as it collapses into nothing but dust.

"Bloody hell." Kol said, shocked. "Who's doing this?"

"The Elder Gods and Elder Gods." Christy told her brother-in-law.

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

After arriving back in the French Quarter, Ana and Christy are taking a stroll.

"So, the Elder Gods and Elder Goddess destroyed the ancient chamber?" Ana said, shocked.

"Yeah. And now, there's nothing there." Christy said.

"And from what I learned about Marcalos, he's a wicked son of a bitch." Ana said.

"Yeah, he is." Christy told Ana. "And now, Marcalos has gone mad." She added with a shrug.

Ana and Christy exchange looks at each other.

"Well, I have to go meet up with Marcel and Vincent. Apparently, Marcel has a uneasy vibe about me." Ana said.

"Alright then." Christy said.

Ana walks further ahead. But Christy becomes worried about her.

"Ana?" Christy said, causing Ana to stop walking and turn around to look at her. "Careful yourself. The Daemonite is out here somewhere. Don't let it scratch you."

"I won't." Ana reassured her.

Ana and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.

โšœ๏ธโšœ๏ธ

ROUSSEAU'S

That afternoon, in the emptied bar, Christy is sitting at the bar counter, eating a plate of one of Declan's food with a fork.

"The food's good, Declan." Christy said, taking a swig of her bottle of Ale.

"Thanks, Christy." Declan thanked her from the kitchen.

Christy's phone buzzes in her jeans pocket. She pulls out her phone and looks at it.

Marcel

Christy answers her phone. "Hey, Marcel."

"Hi, Christy. I'm with Vincent and Ana. And three of us has the Daemonite." Marcel tells her on the phone.

"Where?" Christy asked.

"At the abandoned train depot." Marcel told her.

"Alright, I'm on my way." Christy said, hangs up her phone.

โšœ๏ธโšœ๏ธ

ABANDONED TRAIN DEPOT

Later on that afternoon, Marcel and Christy slowly walks up to a cell which as has a red Daemonite in it.

"How do you, Vincent and Ana capture it?" Christy asked Marcel.

"Ana set a trap for it in the Lafayette Cemetery and trapped it inside a boundary spell." Marcel told her.

The Red Daemonite looks at Christy and speaks to her in a deep Daemonite language. "Yxieb pasde cristiana." ( "How lovely you remain, Christiana.")

"Zatar evase zarfi?" (" How did you escape?") Christy asked.

"Oskad gakze ouied." ( "I saw an opportunity, and I taken it.") The Red Daemonite told her.

Christy and The Red Daemonite exchange tense looks at each other. It uses its own claws to cut its cloak, bleeding black goo onto the floor as it falls on the floor, dead.

"Is it dead?" Ana asked, bewildered.

"Yeah, it's dead." Christy said.

"You understood what it said, Christy?" Ana asked her.

"I know many ancient languages." Christy replied.

"It knew who you were." Marcel said to Christy.

"That Daemonite possessed a best friend of mine, Callahan." Christy told Marcel.

"Why did it kill itself?" Vincent asked her.

"I don't know, maybe, to prevent itself from asking anymore questions." Christy guessed.

"But at least, it's gone." Ana said.

"Yeah." Christy said.

โšœ๏ธโšœ๏ธ

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

That evening, Christy, Luna and Trinity are sitting on the sofa, eating hot fudge sundae with spoon.

"Mom? Can Me, Trinity and Nikole go on a field trip to the Faerie Realm with the demigods and demigoddess?" Luna asked.

"Yeah, sure." Christy replied.

"Okay." Trinity said, and becomes concerned. "Are you okay, Mom?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Christy reassured her youngest daughter.

Christy, Luna and Trinity exchange small smiles at each other. Luna gently leans her head on Christy's right shoulder. And Trinity gently leans her head on Christy's left shoulder. And the mother and daughters eats their hot fudge sundaes.

โšœ๏ธโšœ๏ธ

- 3RD POV -

In Elijah's room, Ana is staring at the fireplace. Elijah slowly walks inside and slowly walks up beside her, staring at the fireplace as well.

"I still love you, Elijah." Ana professed her love for the Noble Original Vampire. "You're a good man. So, if you want to be left alone, I understand."

Ana walks away, and Elijah gently takes her hand, causing her to look at him.

"I appreciate what you've been trying to do, Aiyana. Taking me for drinks. Getting me to dance at St. James Infirmary. And giving me space." Elijah said with a small smile.

"You're welcome." Ana said.

"I do not wish to be alone." Elijah said.

Elijah and Ana exchange soft looks at each other and they kiss each other, passionately. She gently cups his face with her hands and he gently wraps his arms around her waist, embracing their passionate kiss.

โšœ๏ธโšœ๏ธ

In the downstairs ballroom, Christy is sitting on the sofa, playing a guitar melody on her guitar.

"So, the Daemonite has been destroyed." Klaus said, slowly walks inside the ballroom and sits down beside her on the sofa. "So, that takes the weight off for a while."

"It does." Christy said. "By the way, did Luna and Trinity tell you about the field trip?"

"They did." Klaus replied. "Nikole's gonna be with them."

Christy stops playing her guitar. She and Klaus exchange looks at each other.

"I've done many evil things in my life. A lot of bad things. But you and our daughters, you're my redemption." Klaus said to Christy.

"I've done terrible things too as my dark alter ego, Dark Enchantress." Christy said to Klaus. "I inflicted pain on Elijah, Rebekah, Kol and you."

"I remember." Klaus said, recalling Christy's Dark Enchantress. "But you've atonement for it."

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other.

"It's bygones now." Klaus said.

"Yeah." Christy agreed. "And the thing is, Klaus, you and I, were each other's weak spots and Marcalos knows that."

"I know." Klaus said.

"I'm gonna get some sleep." Christy said.

"I might stay up for a little bit." Klaus said.

"Okay." Christy said.

Christy gently takes her guitar and gets up, walks away from him, walking out of the ballroom.

โšœ๏ธโšœ๏ธ

Now, upstairs, in Klaus's and Christy's room, Christy gently sets down her guitar on the coffee table.

Her phone buzzes in her jeans pocket. She pulls out her phone and looks at it.

Chandrelle

Christy answers her phone. "Chandrelle?"

"Hello, Christy. I may need some of your help with pursuing an enemy from the Ivory Realm." Chandrelle said to her on the phone.

"Where are you?" Christy asked, becoming worried about her best friend.

"I'm at a pay phone. I'm in the French Quarter. I'll see you around." Chandrelle said.

"Okay." Christy said.

And Chandrelle hangs up the pay phone.
