FRENCH QUARTER CAFร‰

The next day, Ana and Christy are sitting at a table with their medium-sized clear takeout cups of iced macchiato.

{Christy's Outfit}

"You were right about Mount Orasani. It's a beautiful peaceful place." Ana said with a small smile, recalling her visit to the home island of Mount Orasani. "I mean, it's a big island."

"Yeah, I know. Luna and Trinity loves visiting there." Christy said, taking a sip of her iced macchiato with a straw.

"Speaking of Luna and Trinity? Where are they?" Ana asked, taking a sip of her cappuccino.

"At Mount Orasani with Nikole having fun with the activities." Christy replied. "This cappuccino's really good."

"I'm glad you like it." Ana said.

Ana and Christy exchange small smiles at each other and enjoys sipping on their iced macchiatos.

Christy slowly walks inside the courtyard, looking for her husband, taking sips of iced macchiato.

"Klaus?" Christy said, looking around the courtyard for her husband. "Klaus?"

"Up here, Chris." Klaus said to his wife, slowly walks up to the balcony railing on the second floor. "What is it?"

Christy looks up at Klaus. "Nothing much, just checking on you."

"You want something, don't you?" Klaus asked her.

"Nope, I just came here to check on you. Just checking you're not drowning in bourbon." Christy replied, taking a another sip of her

Klaus chuckles softly to himself as he walks over to the staircase and onto the floor of the courtyard.

"Where were you?" Klaus asked.

"With Ana." Christy told him.

"You and Ana have been hanging out with each other recently." Klaus said, slowly walks up to her.

"Yeah, she's pretty awesome." Christy said to him. "How are things with you and Elijah?"

"As of right now, everything seems fine, but we know better." Klaus replied.

"Yeah, we do." Christy said.

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other and Christy hears her mother, Nadia, telepathically communicates with her.

"Christiana? We need to speak." Nadia telepathically spoke to her.

"Klaus? I have to go, but I'll be back." Christy said to her husband.

"I'll be here." Klaus said.

And Christy teleports away in golden dust.

HOME ISLAND OF MOUNT ORASANI

Later on that day, Christy is in her parent's bedroom chamber. And Nadia is gently and neatly folding her clothes.

Christy is looking at the parchment paper with resignation on it. "You and Dad wants me to resign?"

"From the battle fights, yes." Nadia said, sitting on the ottoman.

"Why?" Christy said.

Nadia looks up at her daughter. "You know why, Christiana. Klaus needs his wife, Luna and Trinity needs their mother."

"Klaus, Luna and Trinity understands me going off to fight in battle fights." Christy said to her mother.

"But returning back home with bruises on your face worries them." Nadia said to her daughter. "You've been in battle fights long enough, it is time for you to put your sword away."

"Mom?" Christy said.

"You're mother's right, Christiana." Ames said in the doorway. And slowly walks inside the bedroom chamber. "It is time to put your sword away."

"What of Maximus?" Christy asked.

"His parents given the same resignation parchment. He said that he will ponder about it as well." Nadia said.

"Okay. Can at least, think about this before I give you guys my signature?" Christy asked her parents.

"Of course." Ames replied.

Ames, Nadia and Christy exchange looks at each other.

After departing from her parents, Christy is wandering around in the vendors market. She and Hagarth exchange small smiles at each other.

"Hi, Hagarth." Christy greeted her former 11 feet tall giant babysitter.

And from his pub, Hagarth small waves back at her. "Hiya, Christy."

Hagarth and Christy exchange another small smiles at each other as she teleports away in golden dust.

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

That evening, in the courtyard, Luna and Trinity are reclining on the sofa, facing each other, reading their books.

Klaus and Christy are in the kitchen, and she's making Macaroni and cheese.

"So, are you gonna sign it?" Klaus asked, looking at the resignation paper.

"I don't know, Klaus." Christy said to him, stirring the cheese in the macaroni in a crockpot with a wooden spoon. "It's like my parents wants me to not battle fight anymore."

"But it's your decision to make. You don't have to signature your resignation." Klaus said.

"Max has a resignation paper too." Christy told Klaus.

"He does?" Klaus asked.

"Yeah, he does." Christy replied, gently taking the resignation paper and tears it up in her hand.

"Why would you do that?" Klaus asked her, bewildered.

"Because it's gonna make it harder for myself." Christy told him, and sighs softly to herself. But stops stirring the macaroni and cheese. "I don't know what to do."

"You're thinking about it too much." Klaus said, slowly walks up behind her and gently wraps his arms around her waist. "You once told me that you're both a mother and a warrior, Christy. And I'm proud of you. Luna and Trinity are proud of you, so, just ease yourself, Love."

Klaus and Christy exchange soft chuckles with each other.

In the courtyard, Christy is sitting at the table with her bowl of macaroni and cheese, eating small spoonfuls of it.

"Hey, guys." Gia greeted, walking inside the courtyard.

"Hi, Auntie Gia." Luna and Trinity greeted in unison.

Gia and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.

"Hey, Gia." Christy greeted her best friend.

"Hey, Christy." Gia greeted back at her. "Macaroni and cheese?"

"Yeah, my favorite food since I was a child." Christy said. "So, what's up?"

"Nothing much." Gia said.

"Gia?" Christy said. "I know that Maximus has a resignation paper."

"Max and I talked about it, and I told him that it's decision." Gia said. "What did you do with yours?"

"I tore it up and put it in the trash can in the kitchen." Christy told her.

"Max did the same." Gia said. "And by the way, another Red Eyed Daemonite has been spotted."

"Really?" Christy said.

"Yeah, really. But, however, Vincent used his magic to knock out the Daemonite and put in a cell at the abandoned train depot." Gia said.

"Okay, thanks for the heads up." Christy thanked Gia.

"You're welcome." Gia said.

"Hey, Mom. What's cream of wheat?" Trinity asked.

"It's good. Other than pancakes, it was my breakfast food." Christy said. "And by the way, Luna and Trinity? Would you like to go camping with me at Mount Orasani?"

"Yeah, sure." Luna replied.

"Gia? You wanna come?" Christy asked.

"Yeah, sure." Gia replied.

Gia and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.

โšœ๏ธโšœ๏ธ

Later on that evening, after Luna and Trinity went to sleep, and Gia had left, Christy is sitting at the table with her iBook g3 laptop.

"Planning a camping trip?" Klaus asked, sitting down in the same chair with Christy. "Sounds fun."

"You can come along if you want." Christy said to him.

"Thanks for the offer, but camping isn't my thing." Klaus said, gently wraps his arm around her shoulder.

"Yeah, I know. Painting and bourbon is more your thing." Christy said.

Klaus and Christy exchange soft chuckles with each other. He pecks a kiss on her cheek.

"Can't wait for what beautiful outfit you wear next." Klaus said in Christy's left ear.

"So, you can paint." Christy said.

"You know you're my favorite muse, Love." Klaus said. "I love you."

"I love you too, Klaus." Christy said.
