Chapter Four

OUTSKIRTS OF NEW ORLEANS

The next day, Christy, Luna and Trinity are driving in Christy's Honda Civic Hatchback car on the open desert road. And Luna is driving.

{Christy's Outfit}

"I can't believe that you're letting me drive, Mom." Luna said.

"Yeah, me too. But you need it." Christy said to her first daughter.

"So, where are we going again, Mom?" Trinity asked.

"There's an ancient chamber around here." Christy said.

"Is it visible?" Luna asked.

"Yeah, it's visible." Christy said.

"Hey, Mom?" Trinity asked.

"What's up, Trinity?" Christy asked.

"Have you had birthdays?" Trinity asked.

"Yeah, I've had birthdays growing up." Christy replied to her second birthday. "Why?"

"We're just asking, Mom." Luna said.

Christy looks at Luna and Trinity, suspiciously of her daughters. "Luna? Trinity? What are you guys up to?"

"Nothing much." Luna and Trinity said in unison.

"Okay." Christy said.

And Luna keeps driving on the desert open road.

ANCIENT CHAMBER

Later on that day, Luna and Trinity are sitting atop of the car hood of Christy's Honda Civic Hatchback car. Christy is on the phone with Thalia.

"So, I think I know why Marcalos wanted your husband's immortal soul." Thalia said on the phone.

"Okay, why?" Christy asked.

"To possess him." Thalia told her. "Don't you get it, Marcalos loves Klaus's soul. He wants the darkness within him."

"Do you regret disowning your Dad, Marcalos?" Christy asked Thalia.

"No, I don't. I've moved on with my life, Christiana. Marcalos will never change. He is, after all, the Elder God of the Underworld. So, no, I don't regret disowning him. Anyhoo, I just wanted to tell you. I'll see you around." Thalia said on the phone.

"You too." Christy said, and hangs up her phone.

"Mom?" Trinity said.

"What is it, Trinity?" Christy asked.

"Is that hieroglyph?" Trinity asked, pointing her finger at a hieroglyph on the entrance wall.

Christy slowly walks up to the hieroglyph on the entrance hall. "Yeah, it is."

Luna and Trinity gently leaps off the car hood and slowly walks up beside their mother.

"What does it say?" Luna asked.

"Trinity? Do you know what it says?" Christy asked.

Trinity looks at the hieroglyph and studies it carefully. "Seaz pueve stacre. ( "Open chamber door." )

The door opens, sliding upwards.

Trinity small smiles to herself.

"Good job, Squirt." Luna said.

"Thanks." Trinity thanked.

"Nice job, sweetheart." Christy said.

"I won't get cocky." Trinity said.

"I know." Christy said.

โšœ๏ธโšœ๏ธ

Now, Christy, Luna and Trinity are slowly wandering around in the hallway of the ancient chamber.

"They're aren't any bugs or any beetles in this chamber, isn't it?" Luna asked.

"Why, Luna? Are you scared?" Trinity asked her older sister.

"Nope, I'm just asking." Luna said.

"It's okay to be scared, you guys." Christy said.

"Are you scared, Mom?" Trinity asked.

"Yeah, I am. I'm afraid of losing your father, you guys, and not coming back home to you guys." Christy told him.

"Really, Mom?" Luna said.

Christy stopped walking and looks at her daughters. "Yeah, really. Luna? Trinity? Whenever I'm away on mission tasks or battle fights, I have to focus on my tasks and my enemy, but I also know that it worries you guys and your father that I every time that I walk out a door, I may not return back home, but knowing that I will motivates me."

"And you trained both Me and Trinity, so, we can defend ourselves." Luna said.

"Yeah." Christy said, and changes the subject. "How about a cheeseburger, curly fries and a milkshake?"

"Okay." Trinity said.

Christy, Luna and Trinity exchange small smiles at each other.

Klaus is out and about in the French Quarter. He then, sees Marcalos on the other side of the road, wearing a dark tieless suit with a sly grin on his face.

A few people walks by and Marcalos is gone. Klaus becomes suspicious and slowly follows him.

In a alleyway behind Rousseau's, Klaus looks around, but suddenly, senses Marcalos behind him and turns around to look at him.

"Let me guess, you want my immortal soul as your prized possession?" Klaus asked, sarcastically.

"No, I don't. I've gotten bored playing with your thousand year old immortal soul." Marcalos said to Klaus.

Suddenly, Marcalos pops up behind Klaus and stabs him in his shoulder with a white oak stake, causing Klaus to groan in slight pain. Marcalos breaks off a piece of the white oak stake.

"Good luck with digging this out." Marcalos said with a menacing chuckle.

Klaus falls onto the ground, in agony pain. And Marcalos vanishes in red smoke.

Christy's phone buzzes in her jeans pocket. She pulls out her phone and looks at it.

Klaus

Christy answers her phone. "Hey, honey, what's up?"

"Chris, I need your help with something. I'm at home." Klaus said.

"Okay, I'm on my way." Christy said, and hangs up her phone. "Luna? Trinity? Let's go."

"Okay." Luna said.

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

Later on that afternoon, Christy walks into the courtyard with Luna and Trinity.

"Klaus?" Christy said.

"Up here." Klaus said from upstairs.

Christy super-sped into Klaus's and hers room. A shirtless Klaus is kneeling on the floor in agony pain, grunting softly to himself.

"Klaus?" Christy said, scurries up to her husband, and crouches down to him.

Klaus looks at Christy and gently cups his sweaty face.

"What happened?" Christy asked, worriedly.

"Marcalos stabbed me with a piece of the white oak stake and I can't get it out." Klaus told her.

Christy glances at the blood-stained pilers on the floor. She gently takes it in her hand. She kneels down behind him and gently tries to dig out the piece of white oak.

Klaus grunts softly.

"Sorry. I'm not trying to hurt you or anything." Christy said, worriedly.

"It's fine." Klaus reassured her.

"Okay, this is gonna hurt." Christy said.

"Go ahead, I'm ready." Klaus said, preparing himself.

"Okay. 1...2...3." Christy said, and pulls out the white oak piece with the pilers.

And Klaus grunts softly.

"I got it." Christy said, showing Klaus the blood-stained pilers with the big piece of white oak and looks at it. "Gosh, this is a big piece."

"Really, Chris?" Klaus said.

"Sorry." Christy said, putting the pilers on the floor and gently cups his face with her hands. "Klaus? You need to feed."

"On your blood? Absolutely not." Klaus said.

"Klaus? Don't argue with me, just do it." Christy tells him, handing him her wrist.

Klaus gently takes Christy's wrist and bares his fangs, biting her wrist, feeding on her warm blood.

โšœ๏ธโšœ๏ธ

Afterwards, Klaus, already wearing jeans, puts on a long sleeve shirt.

"How are you?" Christy asked him.

"I'm fine." Klaus reassured her. "Where's Luna and Trinity?"

"In the courtyard." Christy replied.

"You must be getting pretty tired of having to save my ass." Klaus said, slowly walks up to her.

Christy chuckles softly to herself. "Maybe, maybe not. But I know you don't asks for help, but it's okay to asks sometimes. Besides, you're a pain in my ass sometimes."

"Oh, am I?" Klaus said.

"Yeah, you are." Christy said.

"Well, then, so are you sometimes." Klaus said.

"Good." Christy said.

ST. JAMES INFIRMARY

That evening, Klaus and Christy are sitting at a table with their small drinking glasses of bourbon.

{Christy's Outfit}

"This is your idea of a nightcap?" Christy asked her husband.

"We both needed it." Klaus said, taking a swig of his bourbon, and glances at her lace fingerless gloves. "You love wearing fingerless gloves, don't you?"

"Yeah, I do." Christy said, taking another swig of her bourbon. "Luna drove me and Trinity to the ancient chamber."

"Luna can drive? Surprisingly." Klaus said, intrigued.

"Yeah, she did a pretty good job." Christy said to him with a small smile.

Klaus takes a gulp of his bourbon and gets up to his feet and offers Christy his hand.

"How about a dance?" Klaus asked.

"Sure." Christy said, taking a gulp of her bourbon and gently sets down her emptied small drinking glass on the table.

Christy gently takes Klaus's hand and he slowly walks to the middle of the floor and they slow down together to the slow music.

"There's something that we should talk about." Christy said.

"Okay. What is it?" Klaus asked.

"Thalia phone called me earlier today and she told me that Marcalos wants to possess you." Christy said.

"The Elder God of Underworld wants to possess me, why?" Klaus asked.

"Thalia said that Marcalos loves your immortal soul and he wants the darkness in you." Christy said.

"Marcalos said that himself that he's done with my soul. And if he comes near you, he's gonna have to go through me." Klaus said.

"I know." Christy said.

Klaus gently twirls out Christy and gently pulls her close to him. And they kiss each other, passionately.

โšœ๏ธโšœ๏ธ

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

Later on that evening, Klaus and Christy continues to kiss each other, passionately, exchanging small smiles at each other as they kiss.

Klaus gently pulls off his long sleeve shirt over his head, revealing his bare chest with his tattoos.

Christy gently pulls off her sleeveless halter top top, revealing her Natori feathers bra.

Klaus pecks small kisses on the side of Christy's neck and she closes her eyes in lovable pleasure as he does so.

Klaus and Christy exchange soft looks at each other and they kiss each other, passionately making intimate love with each other.

โšœ๏ธโšœ๏ธ

That night, afterwards, Klaus and Christy, are laying in bed, asleep, both shirtless, wearing his boxer briefs and her undies, underneath the bedcover covering them both. He's gently laying beside her, gently cuddling her from behind.

"Hello, Ames." Marcalos greeted, turning around to look at him.

"I'm gonna say this to you once, and only once; leave Klaus alone." Ames tells Marcalos, also wearing casual clothes.

"Of course, you would say that. Klaus is your son-in-law." Marcalos said.

"If you come near him, attempt to destroy him, or even try to put on your mark on him, you have the Elder Gods and Goddess upon you, Marcalos." Ames warned him.

Ames and Marcalos exchange tense looks at each other.

"I'll see you around, Ames." Marcalos said, and teleports away in red smoke.

And Ames teleports away in golden dust.
