A mother's love is one of the most elegant feeling to witness in this world. No matter how much wrong the child does, a mother's heart will always crave to cradle her child in her warm arms.
I have always heard about this kind of overwhelming love. But witnessed it with my own eyes last night.
The son who left  before thinking twice about his mother was now in his mother's embrace.

How can a mother ever let his son out of the house? There was an anger hidden in her words but there was still the tinge of motherly affection hiding in every corners. Long story short, Satish da stayed in our house that night. Next morning we talked about all of this. Mom couldn't let her son return after finally coming  home. Shr couldn't do that. So he is staying in our house for few days until he finds a good house” Emily said after taking a deep breath.

Emily could not see the grey clouds in the sky outside the window of her school anymore which she saw before narrating the whole  incident which took place last night to Anna.

“So Satish dada is staying in your house? How are you feeling about all this Emily?” Anna asked while chewing the chips which she brought to lunch.

“Me?” Emily asked. The last thing she wanted to think right now was how she felt. She remembered the conversation she had with her elder brother the night before.

“Emily... I know you can't forgive me yet.. But atleast you can try” Satish said with teary eyes.

“Look... I don't know if you can understand or not.. I don't want to appear like a villain.. But i can't. You have given me too much pain which took a lot of time to heal. I simply  don't want to experience the same feeling again. When i needed you the most you weren't there. And now how do you expect me to become the same old sister you had. How do you expect me to forgive you?” Emily said.

Satish didn't know what to say. He did not want anything to say. He knew what a horrible mistake he has done. He did not expect Emily to accept him. But he just could not bear the pain his sister is giving him even though he deserved it. He knew he deserves this. But still it tore him into bits.

Emily sighed. She looked at the teary eyes of her brother. No.. She can't look at those eyes. If anything was in those eyes was pain and hatred. Hatred towards himself.

Anna waved her hands in front of Emily's eyes and pushed her as she could sense her zoning out. “Hey? Are you okay bro? ”

Emily jolted at the sudden shaking “Yeah? Yes.. Yes i'm alright. Hey do you want some jhuribhaja?” She said.

Anna's eyes shone bright by hearing the name of jhuribhaja. If something she loved besides her parents , Emily and herself was JHURIBHAJA. “Heck YEAH!” she screamed in excitement.

Emily opened her tiffin box and offered it to her best friend who's mouth was already watering.

Soon the bell rang and both of them went downstairs to wash their hands.
“Emily.. We haven't done something fun for so long” Anna said while splashing water on her face.

Emily scratched her head. She was watching Shrinjini the bully of the class and the most over dramatic person alive in this universe. “Don't you think we are becoming boring day by day?” she said.
Anna nodded in agreement.
“Emily dear, are you thinking exactly what i'm thinking?” Anna said while wiping her face with the handkerchief which she borrowed from Emily.
“Yess Anna dear.. Exactly the thing that you are thinking” Emily smirked. Both of them were watching Shrinjini with mischievous smile.

Time capsule presents a 10 mins time travel to Biology class ZOOM-

“Rohan..  if you have so many questions then why don't you build a Taj Mahal on which you can write all of your doubts!” Gargi miss yelled at Rohan as the boy asked her another question for the 5th time.

“Miss if i could build a Taj Mahal.. Then i would have already built it”  Rohan said calmly.

Both Anna and Emily chuckled.
“But He can't as he did not find his Mumtaz begam yet, Emily. When he will find her .. He will surely build it” Anna whispered.
Emily controlled her laughter though she badly wanted to laugh.

“Seriously that boy wants a good amount of lecture. Who talks back to the lioness.
What a fool he is” Emily thought.

“Indeed he is a fool” Anna whispered.
“ How did you know-” Emily almost shouted but the teacher did not notice thankfully.

“Telepathy bro ” Anna winked.

Although Rohan got a good amount of scolding , he did not whimpered a bit. He was as calm as a sea.

“Hey Rohan are you okay? Are you mad? Why did you talk back to her?” Emily asked him as the teacher went out.
Rohan laughed “ i don't know.. Just couldn't bear her for a minute”.

Anna laughed “Well what you said was correct. You haven't even found your Mumtaz. How can you build Taj Mahal without having a Mumtaz? ”

Rohan smiled and patted Anna's head “ Good observation sis.. But who knows.. ”

The blue sky was full of grey clouds when Emily arrived home. Satish da opened the door. The sight of  George with a bowl  caught her attraction.

“Didi! didi! see Satish dada made porridge for me! There is some for you and mumma also!” George yelled in excitement.

A smile crept on Emily's face.
She remembered Satish's words earlier.
“Emily... I know you can't forgive me yet.. But atleast you can try”

The teary eyes of him was not still out of her mind.

Maybe she can try. Maybe she will.

Forgive

A simple word,
Yet  difficult.
Can change the world in an instant,
But it won't if you don't want.

Forgiveness is an art
which everyone is not capable of,
But to those who we forgive,
Means alot.

Maybe it is for the best,
To forgive the past
And thrive for the life's rest.
While engraving the path
Of thorns and roses,
We have to forgive the thorns,
To collect the roses.

Hello my beloved readers. I own a apology to all of you. I practically abandoned you guys in darkness. I was very busy due to studies. And honestly i was having a writer's block. Hopefully i can update once a week from now on. I hope you can forgive me. And what are your thoughts about the chapter? Did i give justice to this satish situation?
