(Hey guys this is Sayantika and thank you for wishing Emily best of luck. And sorry for uploading late. My exams is going on but still I thought to upload. My exams will end in 22nd March.
In the previous chapter Emily enrolled her name in the drawing competition and in the other hand in her home her grandpa didn't wanted her step aunt to go abroad for studies. Now let's see what happens next ).

The big day arrived, and I was excited as well as nervous. It's going to be a big competition , the competition is going to be held between our school and our neighbouring sc

ool that means this is a big competition. And also the winner of this competition will be invited to shade India TV and be given prizes and many more.

The teacher called out the names of the students who enrolled their names in the competition. When I reached the hall room there were so many cameras and lightning. Their were huge card boxes full of art supplies. When I sat on my bench, an uncle came and gave me water colour, pencil, eraser and drawing paper from Shade company. I also have this same company's art supplies in my house. The bell rang and we all started our paintings. I started to paint with all my mind. I knew if someone play drums in front of me, I won't stop painting cause whenever I paint, I don't see anything else. After 2 hours, my painting was done. I drew my own painting but with an abstract way.

When I was submitting my painting, my art teacher was so impressed by me but didn't said anything as she was not the judge or something like that I don't know.
After the competition Annie asked me " How was the competition? " " Pretty well Annie, can you give me the notes "
" I knew it would go well.. And yeah yeah I will give you the notes " Annie said.
After school we ate ice-cream and went home.

At home things were same. Grandpa didn't wanted to talk with aunt. I washed my hands took a quick shower . I changed my dress and went to grandpa.
" Hi my little princess. How was your competition? "

" It was great dadu. But why are you making auntie sad. She wants to study abroad. Please let her. "

" Sweetie, I also want your aunt to become a successful doctor but I don't want her to go abroad. I want her to stay with me "
" Grandpa, aunt is not leaving you. She wants to study abroad. And she will return here after 4 years. Grandpa just think about her. She is feeling sad already to leave and now if you don't talk to her nicely and always talk to her about not going to abroad, she feels so horrible. " I said.
" I didn't thought about it. I think you are right. I should not argue with her and let her study abroad" my grandpa said.

" Yeah grandpa and you should spend some quality time with her. Then she will not feel bad. And why are you worrying so much,she will come back in holidays. "

"Sweetie, thank you so much! I will do what you told me to do " my grandpa said.
I went upstairs and saw aunt packing her bags. She had the flight after 3 months.
" Sayani auntie ! I have a good news for you " I said.
" What is it Emily? I have a lot of work to do. You know know I have to go shopping for some worm clothes " said my aunt.
" Well auntie, grandpa understood and he said he will not shout about your leaving to abroad. He said he will spend some quality time with you " I said.
" Really Emily! I love you so much. You are the best. I know you talked to him and he understood. Thank you Emily ! I will take you to movies today night. Okay?"

I was so happy and excited. I jumped up and down and hugged my aunt.

After 1 week, my class teacher announced that the judges of the shades company will come and announce the winner's name
We were called to the auditorium room.Then I heard the judges were calling my name in front of everyone.
" Congratulations you are the winner of this round and you will now participate in the 2nd round with all the winners from other schools of this district. " by saying this they handed me a certificate and shade's jumbo art kit which I wanted so much. I was so happy that my hands were shaking. Then my art teacher told me. " you will now participate in the 2nd round and this is going to be tough. There will be all the officials and yeah the judge is going to be someone special. The competition will be held on next month. Be prepared. I have complete trust in you Emily. I know you will make our school proud of you "
I nodded my head.
When I went to my drawing sir and showed him the certificate he was so happy. He said he was proud of me and said me this time I had to prepare and work harder. I was prepared and excited. I knew I can do this.
Next day it was Sunday morning and I was cleaning the floor with the broom when I found a piece of burnt paper and it was burnt recently.

I could only see 'invite '. I was curious . I asked mom about it but she said " I-i don't know " and she went away. I could understand she was hiding something from me but what is it?
