HOME [PART TWO]
___

"What did Missouri want?"
โ€”
"Nothing."

โ€ข โ€ข โ€ข

Dean, Juliet and Sam, along with Harlow, are currently in an auto repair shop called 'Gunther's Auto Repair.' The three hunter's are standing by a car that's in the shop waiting to be fixed as they talk to the owner of the body shop, Gunther, while Harlow looks around at all the cars in the garage that are waiting to be fixed, she finds herself thinking that no one of them are as cool as her dad's.

They had tracked Gunther down through John's journal, the said diary having mentioned him as one of John's friends that wasn't a hunter but his work partner.

(Juliet couldn't believe it either. The John Winchester had, had a normal 9-5 job. She just couldn't picture it.)

The three are posing as FBI agents. Dean and Juliet had use the 'no babysitter' excuse to explain why Harlow was with them.

Dean eyes Gunther with a raised eyebrow, "So you and John Winchester, you used to own this garage together?"

Gunther nods his head before verbally answering Dean's question, "Yeah, we used to, a long time ago. Matter of fact, it must be, uh...twenty years since John disappeared." He eyes the three hunters in curiosity, "So why the cops interested all of a sudden?"

Juliet shares a meaningful look with both of the Winchester brother's before deciding to answer for them, "Oh, we're re-opening some of our unsolved cases, and the Winchester disappearance is one of 'em." She gives the owner of the auto repair shop a practiced false smile, one that she has given many of people.

Gunther nods his head, a small yet sad smile on his face.

"Oh, well, what do you wanna know about John?"

Dean gives him a professional smile, "Well, whatever you remember, you know, whatever sticks out in your mind."

Gunther pauses as he contemplates Dean's words before answering, "Well...he was a stubborn bastard, I remember that." He laughs, "And, uh, whatever the game, he hated to lose, you know? It's that whole marine thing." He watches as the three hunter's nod before continuing, "But, oh, he sure loved Mary and those kids."

Juliet raises an eyebrow at that, that version of John was in the past. This newer version of her Godfather couldn't give a rats ass about either of his sons, or at least that's how he comes across. She shakes her head, getting rid of her thoughts before looking up at Gunther as a question crosses her mind, "What about Joseph Sullivan? Did you know him, at all?"

Gunther cocks his head at Juliet's question before nodding his head, "Yeah, he was a close friend to Mary and John. One of their best friends, I would say. Him and his wife, Lydia. They doted on their daughter. Joey would come in and visit John on some days, but never stayed around for too long, always used to talk about hunting before he had a freak hunting accident and John and Mary took their little girl under their wing."

Juliet raises another eyebrow, "Huntin' accident?"

Gunther nods his head, "Oh, yeah. It was all over the papers, him and Lydia were out hunting and got ripped apart by an animal, a bear is what they said. I still have the paper."

Juliet bites her lip as she contemplates asking for the paper, but it looks like she doesn't have to, as Gunther is one step ahead of her. "Do you wanna see it? If it would help."

Juliet nods her head, and watches as Gunther walks off to his office before coming back, not a second later and hands her the paper.

She looks down at it, and feels her stomach drop as she reads the paper.

In Local news, a bear attacks couple.
Kansas, Lawrence. November 1st, 1983

Husband and Wife, Joseph and Lydia Sullivan, 28 and 27, (couple pictured down below) were found dead by local police, the authorities are saying that it was a bear attack.

Joseph Sullivan on the left and Lydia Sullivan on the right.

The couple are well known in their neighbourhood, along with their one year old daughter, Juliet Sullivan, who is now an orphan.

Our hearts go out to that young girl and hope she's been taken in by lovely people. The police are warning citizens not to go into any wooded areas until the bear has been caught and dealt with.

Juliet looks up from the paper and eyes Gunther before holding the paper out to him, silently giving it back to him. But the owner of the garage shakes his head, "Keep it. It might help with the case."

Juliet nods her head, but doesn't say anything as she feels her heart constrict with sadness as she looks at the grainy black and white photo of her parents that had been printed in the paper.

Sam watches her and gives his friend a look of concern before looking back to Gunther, knowing where her head was at, and it seems Dean does, too as he's quick to wrap his arm around her waist. He eyes Gunther with a tilt of his head, "But that was before the fire?"

Gunther nods his head, once.

"That's right."

Sam raises an eyebrow, "He ever talk about that night?"

Gunther shakes his head, a crest fallen look upon his face as he thinks back to the fire and John with those kids. "No, not at first. I think he was in shock."

Juliet subtly rolls her eyes, of course the man would be in shock. He had just lost his wife. Listen, she doesn't like John at the best of times but even she can sympathize with the man as he lost his wife that night, what a stupid and obvious thing to say. Dean, seeing the roll of her eyes, squeezes her hip in warning.

Sam, not noticing the interaction between the lovers, looks to Gunther.

"Right. But eventually? What did he say about it?"

Gunther shakes his head, "Oh, he wasn't thinkin' straight . He said somethin' caused that fire and killed Mary. Come to think of it, he was also hellbent on the idea of Joey and Lydia's deaths having nothing to do with a bear attack. Poor guy was losing it."

Dean raises an eyebrow at the man standing in front of him as Juliet pulls away.

"He ever say what did it?"

Gunther furrows his eyebrows at Dean's question, "Nothin' did it. It was an accident โ€“- an electrical short in the ceiling or walls or somethin'. Same with the Sullivan's deaths, it was tragic accident that shouldn't have happened. I begged him to get some help, but..."

Juliet raises an eyebrow as Gunther trails off, like he's hesistant to continue.

"But what?"

Gunther sighs, knowing he has no choice but to answer, he doesn't wanna withold information from them.

"Oh, he just got worse and worse."

Juliet cocks her head to the right, "Can you elaborate?"

Gunther sighs, once more. "Well, he started readin' these strange ol' books. He started goin'...He started goin' to see this palm reader in town."

Juliet raises an eyebrow as she shares a look with Dean before looking back to Gunther, "A plam reader? Uh, do you have the name?"

Gunther gives Juliet a look like she's crazy for asking such a question before shaking his head with a scoff of disbelief, "No." Juliet raises an eyebrow at his tone of voice, taking a shot in the dark and guessing he doesn't believe in that kinda stuff.

Thanking Gunther for his time, Dean calls Harlow over before the four of them head back to the Impala, driving off to see if they can gain any more information on this palm reader that John had supposedly gone to see.

โ€ข โ€ข โ€ข

Juliet sighs as she sits on the bonnet of Baby, Harlow next to her, as Sam stands by a nearby payphone, looking through a phone book, trying to find who this psychic could be by finding out who all the psychic's are in the area.

"Mommy?"

She looks down at Harlow, her daughter's voice gaining her attention. She smiles down at Harlow as she moves her hand to gently brush her daughter's locks out of her face, "Yeah, peach?"

Harlow stiffles a yawn as she cuddles into Juliet's side, "I'm tired." Juliet wraps an arm around Harlow's small frame and brings her in closer as she kisses her head, "I know, baby. Once we've found this psychic, we'll see if daddy can find us a motel for the night, hmm?"

Harlow nods her head as she stiffles another yawn. Juliet's heart bleeds for the poor girl as she watches her rest her eyes. Harlow hadn't gotten a good sleep last night. She kept waking up, her mind plagued by nightmares. What those nightmares are? Juliet doesn't know and neither does Dean as Harlow wasn't telling them anything. But if they had to guess, they would say that the nigthmares she's having have something to do with their last case. Bugs. The poor girl didn't like bugs to begin with, but now? Her fear is even worse. Not that the two parent's could blame their daughter, if they were Harlow's age, and had a fear of bugs, even they would've be more afraid of any kinda insect, too. Especially after going through being attacked by said bugs.

Dean walks over to the two of them, his heart melting at the sight of his tired daughter. He looks to Juliet, "She looks like she could keel over any minute and pass out." Juliet hums in agreement as she continues to thread her fingers through Harlow's hair, knowing that it brings comfort to her daughter.

"Yeah, who can blame her, though? She kept waking up through the night screaming."

Dean tilts his head to the side, "Do you still think her nightmare was about the case with the bugs?"

Juliet shrugs her shoulders in reply, "I mean, what else could it be? After the Lake Manitoc ordeal, she didn't sleep for weeks. She slept in bed with us as she didn't want to be alone." Juliet sighs as she looks down at Harlow's half asleep figure, "I wish she could stay this young forever." Dean nods his head as she stands next to Juliet, placing his hand on her knee. "So do I, babe. So do I. But y'know, if you want another baby running around, I would be more than happy to make that fantasy become a reality."

Juliet shakes her head at Dean's suggestive eyebrow raise but before she can let him down gently, Sam walks back over to them. He smiles at the sight of his sleeping niece before relaying the information he has gained back to Dean and Juliet, making sure to keep his voice low to not wake Harlow up.

"All right, so there are a few psychics and palm readers in town." He looks down to the phone book in hand, "There's someone named El Divino. There's, uhโ€”" Juliet raises an eyebrow as Sam laughs before reading the second name aloud to them, "โ€”there's the Mysterious Mister Fortinsky."

Juliet furrows her eyebrows, "That sounds like a name out of a Tim Burton movie." Sam laughs as he nods his head in agreeance with her words before continuing to read the third name from the phone book.

"Uh, Missouri Moseleyโ€”"

Dean and Juliet share a glance, the name sound familiar to the both of them, like thye've heard it from somewhere/someone before. The former of the two stops Sam from reading the next psychic's name from the list.

"Wait, wait. Missouri Moseley?"

Sam furrows his eyebrow, detecting the tone of recognition in his brother's voice.

"What?"

A spark ignites in Juliet's eyes as she remembers why that name sounds so recognizable. She had read it somewhere before. More specifically, John's Journal. She raises an eyebrow at Sam, glancing between the said man and Dean, being careful not to wake Harlow as she voices her thoughts, "Wait, that's a psychic?"

Dean nods his head, "Took the words right outta my mouth."

Sam continues to furrow his eyebrows, feeling more and more confused by the second. Sometimes it's really hard being the third wheel, especially when they don't keep him in the loop of things.

"Uh, yeah. Yeah, I guess so."

He watches as Dean reaches into the backseat of the Impala -having moved from leaning against the bonnet of the Impala to do so- and pulls out John's journal, "In Dad's Journal...here look at this." He flicks to the first page, showing Sam and Juliet the contents. "First page, first sentence, read that."

Sam walks over to where Dean stands next to Juliet. He looks down at the journal and does as his brother says, reading the first sentence of the first page, aloud.

"I went to Missouri and I learned the truth."

Dean shrugs as he looks between Juliet and Sam, "I always thought he meant the state."

Juliet sighs before looking to Sam, "How long would it take us to get there, Sam?"

The said Winchester looks down at the address before answering, "I would say it's about an hour or two out, but knowing Dean's driving? I would say forty five minutes, why?" Juliet smiles, "Perfect, that gives Harlow enough time to catch up on some sleep." She looks down at her daughter, "Speaking of, can someone help me move her off of me so I am able to get back into the car. I think I've lost all feeling in my right leg."

Dean softly chuckles as he gently scoops Harlow up into his arms and places her in her booster seat in the back of the car, slowly straping her in. Miraculously, the five year old doesn't stir from her slumber. Although, that doesn't surprise neither hunter as Harlow could sleep through a storm without batting an eye.

After Harlow is securely strapped into the car, the three hunters also pile into Baby. Their next destination, Missouri Moseley's home."

โ€ข โ€ข โ€ข

The three hunters sit on the couch, Juliet reading a magazine as a now wide awake Harlow sits on her father's lap, playing with her stuffed elephant as she, along with her father, mother and uncle, wait for the woman they have come to see to appear.

Juliet can hear talking from the other room, so she assumes that Missouri is with a client of sorts.

They don't have to wait long for her to walk out behind the client, who's man. Juliet raises an eyebrow as she watches Missouri walk him to her front door, a false smile on her face as she sees him out.

"All right, there. Don't worry 'bout a thing. Your wife is crazy about you." She smiles as the man thanks her before shutting the door. As soon as the man can no longer see her face, the psychics face drops as she turns to the hunters, shaking her head with a sigh, "Poor bastard. His woman is cold-bangin' the gardener."

Dean raises an eyebrow at that while Juliet winces and glances at Harlow before looking to Missouri, about to ask her, politely, if she could watch her language around Harlow, but before she can utter the question, Missouri sends her an apologetic look. "Oh, I am sorry, honey. It slipped my mind that Harlow was there."

Juliet smiles before pausing and glancing between Harlow and Missouri. She didn't tell the woman her daughter's name, but before she can verbally question it, Dean cuts her off.

"Why didn't you tell him his wife is cheatin'?"

Missouri sends Dean a look that a mother would give her son for asking stupid questions, "People don't come here for the truth. They come here for good news."

All three hunters blink as they stare at her. The psychic gives them an impatient look. "Well? Sam, Dean and Juliet, come on already, I ain't got all day." She looks to Harlow and sends her a smile, "You too, peaches."

Harlow smiles at the nickname, instantly getting up and following the woman into the other room.

The three hunters share a confused look between them before following the little Winchester foot steps, into the other room where Missouri has gone.

As soon as Juliet shuts the door behind them, Missouri turns to all three of them. "Well, lemme look at ya." She laughs as she eyes Sam and Dean, "Oh, you boys grew up handsome." She points to Dean, "And you were one goofy lookin' kid, too."

Juliet laughs at the look on Dean's face as Sam smirks. Her laugh gets Missouri's attention. The woman walks over to Juliet and places a comforting hand on her cheek, "Oh, you've grown up beautiful. I knew you would."

She then turns to Harlow, "And look at you." She looks at both Dean and Juliet, "You have such a bright daughter," she eyes Juliet, "she looks so much like you but has her daddy's eyes."

Harlow giggles at the strange lady before her. Not a bad strange but a good strange. Harlow
likes her. She's funny.

Missouri smiles as she hears what Harlow is thinking.

Her eyes then widen as she catches what Sam is thinking. She's quick to leave Harlow's side and place a comforting hand on Sam's arm. "Oh, honey...I'm sorry about your girlfriend." The three hunters share a look of shock between them but it goes unnoticed by Missouri as she eyes the Winchester boys, "And your fatherโ€” he's missin'?"

Juliet internally scoffs at that, missing her ass. He's god knows where chasing after that thing that killed both Mary and Jessica, and she only knows that because she caught him in the act of leaving.

Dean raises an eyebrow at Missouri after sharing another shocked look with Sam. The latter of the Winchester brothers sharing the exact same expression as he tilts his head at the psychic, "How'd you know all that?"

Missouri gives him a small smile, "Well, you were just thinkin' it just now."

Sam's eyebrows shoot up to his hairline in surprise.

Juliet sighs as her thoughts start to wander to John. She can't help but bite down on her bottom lip in worry. It's been weeks, months since she caught him leaving to hunt down the thing that killed Mary, and now Jessica, too.

It's been a long time since he told her not to tell Dean of his whereabouts. She feels her heart constrict painfully at the thought of still lying to him and Sam.

She just wants to know he's okay, after that she'll kill him.

She pauses, eyes going wide as she quickly puts a stop to her thought process. But it's too late. She looks up and meets eyes with Missouri. The said woman giving her a knowing look that neither Dean or Sam see.

Juliet's heart starts to pound in her chest, knocking against her ribcage, or at least it feels like it is. Missouri now knows the truth. Not only that, she's the first person to know the truth and in some twisted way, it brings slight relief to the weight that's been pressing down on Juliet's shoulders since she was burdened with it. But it's only slight, she doesn't know this woman from Adam...

What will she do? Will she tell Dean?

Before Juliet can shake her head and silently plead with Missouri not to say anything, Dean's voice cuts through the air.

"Well, where is he? Is he okay?"

Missouri gives one last look to Juliet, before turning to Dean and shaking her head, "I don't know."

Dean raises an eyebrow at that, feeling a little pissed off at that being the answer he receives. She's meant to be psychic, how can she not know?!

"Don't know? Well, you're supposed to me a psychic, right?"

Not appreciating the skepticism in Dean's tone, Missouri shoots him an unimpressed look. "Boy, you see me sawin' some bony tramp in half? You think I'm a magician? I may be able to read thoughts and sense energies in a room, but I can't pull facts out of thin air." She motions to the couch in the corner, "Sit, please."

Like the kids they are, Juliet and Sam smirk at Dean as they sit down on the couch, both of them quietly sniggering at Dean being snapped at my the psychic as Harlow sits on her father's lap.

Dean goes to put his feet on the coffee table in front of him, but before he can even lift a booth, Missouri is quick to snap at him, once more.

"Boy, you put your foot on my coffee table, I'm 'a whack you with a spoon."

Dean looks caught off guard as he looks to Missouri, "I didn't do anything."

Missouri glares at him, "But you were thinkin' about it."

Dean raises his eyebrows as Sam smirks while Juliet chuckles as she leans in towards Deans and lowers her voice to a whisper.

"I like her, she can stay."

Dean just pulls a face in reply and pokes her in the ribs causing her to quietly squeal.

Ignoring the two, Sam turns to Missouri. The smirk dropping from his face as his voice takes on a more serious tone.

"Okay. So, our dadโ€” when did you first meet him?"

Missouri smiles grimly, "He came for a reading. A few days after the fire. I just told him what was really out there in the dark. I guess you could say I drew back the curtains for him, properly."

Juliet furrows her eyebrows, thinking about the time she read John's journal and him mentioning stuff from the supernatural world
before the fire even happened.

Missouri catches on to her thoughts and answers them. "John only knew about werewolves and skinwalkers. He didn't know about the much darker beings."

Juliet nods her head as Dean eyes Missouri from where he sits on the couch. "What about the fire? Do you know about whatโ€”" he covers Harlow's ears before continuing, "โ€”what killed our mom?"

He uncovers Harlow's ears as Missouri answers his question.

"A little. Your daddy took me to your house. He was hopin' I could sense the echoes, the fingerprints of this thing?"

Juliet raises an eyebrow, "And could you?"

"I..." They watch as Missouri pauses in her words. Sam gives her a look of concern as she shakes her head, "What was it?"

Her words are softly spoken, "I don't know. Oh, but it was evil."

The three hunters share a look at that.

That's all Missouri could tell them about what's inside their old house. She raises an eyebrow at the three hunters as they recap what Jenny had told them when they went to visit the house. "So...you think somethin' is back in that house?"

Sam nods his head, "Definitely."

Missouri furrows her eyebrows as she shakes her head, "I don't understand." Juliet raises her head at hearing those words, she tilts her head in confusion, "What do you mean?" She watches as Missouri continues to shake her head before looking between Dean, Juliet and Sam. -Harlow remains in the corner, Missouri having given her some pieces of paper and some coloring pencils to keep her occupied while the adults talk- "I haven't been back inside, but I've been keeping an eye on the place, and it's been quiet. No sudden deaths, no freak accidents. Why is it actin' up now?"

Juliet shares a glance with Dean, both of them shrugging their shoulder's in reply. Sam looks to Missouri, the only one out of the three to give her a verbal answer to her question, "We don't know. But Dad going missing and Jessica dying and now this house all happeing at onceโ€“- it just feels like something's starting."

Dean looks to his brother, missing the look that Missouri and Juliet share with each other at the mention of John missing. Dean shoots his brother a look, "That's a comforting thought."

After getting Missouri more up to speed on what they think might be in the house, they ask her to join them on visiting the house with them, to see if she can sense anything else and she agrees but before they can leave the room, Missouri sends Sam and Dean a smile, "Would you mind giving us a second, boys?"

Dean eyes Missouri as she places a hand on Juliet's arm to stop her from moving any further. He lifts an eyebrow about to protest but Juliet stops him from being overprotective by holding her hand out, "It's okay, Dean. We'll only be a minute."

Missouri nods in agreement. So with a reluctant sigh, he nods his head and walks over to Sam and Harlow as Missouri and Juliet shut the door behind them to have a private conversation.

Missouri eyes Juliet, "How long have you known?"

Juliet sighs, "Since I caught him leaving to go and hunt it down. He made me swear not to tell, Dean. Knowing that he wouldn't allow it and would demand to come with him."

Missouri nods her head before raising an eyebrow, "Will you eventually tell them?" Juliet sighs at the question as she bites her lip anxiously. "I-I don't know. I want to, but I swore to John that I would keep it a secret. I can't disobey him, it's like something inside me is programmed to obey his every word."

Missouri sends her a sympathetic look, "Oh, honey. That's the hunter inside you. The solider that he has conditioned you to be. That John has brought you up to be. But some friendly advice, secrets aren't worth keeping from the people you love. The consequences could be disastrous."

Juliet raises an eyebrow, sensing that her words have a second meaning behind them, but before she can question it, there's a knock on the door followed by Dean's voice.

"Are you two ready to go? We're losing time, here."

Juliet rolls her eyes as Missouri looks at her. "Is he always like this?" The huntress sighs, "You have no idea."

Missouri chuckles before placing a hand on Juliet's arm. "Just think about what I said, okay?"

The mother of one nods her head as Missouri opens the door and exits the room, leaving Juliet standing there, alone.

Dean walks in and walks over to Juliet, placing a hand on the small of her back. "What did Missouri want?"

Juliet smiles and kisses his cheek before shaking her head, "Nothing. She just wanted to tell me stuff about my parents."

Dean raises an eyebrow, not believing her but deciding to let it go for now. "Oh, yeah? What did she say?"

Juliet bites her lip, "Apparently I look a lot like my Mom but have my Dad's eyes. Who knew, huh?"

With that she walks out the room and as soon as she faces away from Dean, she lets out a nervous sigh of relief, feeling his eyes bite into the back of her head, watching her as she leaves him standing there, like Missouri had done to her.

She doesn't know how much longer she can keep this up.

With that, the three hunters, plus Harlow and Missouri make their leave, but before Juliet can follow the four of them out the door, she stops in her tracks. She feels like someone is watching her from afar. She raises an eyebrow and looks around the foyer of Missouri's home but comes up empty as she doesn't see anyone.

"Babe? You comin'?"

Hearing Dean talking to her, she glances at the door. "Yeah, in a second." She looks around one last time before shrugging her shoulders and walking out the door, shutting it behind her. Chalking it up to her just being paranoid. She smiles and grabs Dean's hand as she they follow after Harlow, who's giggling as she talks to Missouri, asking her lots of different questions.

Unbeknownst to both her and Dean, John Winchester stands behind the closed front door. Sighing out in relief, thinking he might have been caught by Juliet just now. Sometimes he forgets how good of a hunter she really is, especially when it comes to her senses and trusting her instincts.

He looks to the closed door and sighs as he closes his eyes.

"Just hold on a little longer, Juliet."

โ€ข โ€ข โ€ข

Juliet looks to Dean and Sam before sighing and stepping up to the front door of Jenny's house and knocking three times, it doesn't take long for the said homeowner to open the door, Ritchie in her arms. She furrows her eyebrows at them, "Sam, Dean, Juliet? What are you doing here?" Juliet doesn't answer and instead analyzes Jenny's stance, she looks desheveled and her chest is rising and falling quickly, as if she's out of breath...like she'd just been running from something.

Sam gives Jenny a small smile, "Hey, Jenny. This our friend, Missouri."

Dean motions his head to the inside of the house, his hand holding Harlow's so she doesn't make a run for it inside the house to see Sari. "If it's not too much trouble, we were hoping to show her the old house. You know, for old time's sake."

Jenny sighs at Dean's request, thinking of a way to let the three of them down gently.

"You know, this isn't a good time. I'm kind of busy."

Dean rolls his eyes at her reply, why is it when they're secretly tryin' to save someone, they can never just cooperate. "Listen, Jenny, it's important." Missouri, not liking his tone of voice or the thoughts he's thinking, smacks Dean on the back of the head. His hand immediately flies to the sore spot on his head as he looks at Missouri like he's offended. "Ow!"

The psychic just glares at the twenty-six year old manchild, "Give the poor girl a break, can't you see she's upset?" Juliet and Sam share a look of amusment as Dean looks at Missouri, stunned. The said woman shakes her head with a sigh before turning to Jenny, her glare softening as she gives the mother of two a soft smile, "Forgive this boy, he means well, he's just not the sharpest tool in the shed, but hear me out."

Juliet quietly snorts at the insult thrown Dean's way, she shares a glance with Sam as they chuckle like school kids watching their friend get told off by the teacher, but one look from Missouri causes the two to adjust their faces and stop sniggering.

Jenny shakes her head as she looks to Missouri, confused by her words and why she should hear her out and for what.

"About what?"

Missouri gives the woman a knowing look as she eyes the house before looking back to Jenny, "About this house." Jenny just shakes her head with a furrow in her brow, "What are you talking about?"

Instead of losing her patience at the woman like the three hunter's would do, Missouri instead looks at Jenny with a soft look in her eyes, "I think you know what I'm talking about. You think there's something in this house, something that wants to hurt your family. Am I mistaken?"

Jenny inhales a breath before exhaling, eyeing the woman in disbelief, it's as if she had read her thoughts. She eyes the four of them in awe, "Who are you?"

Missouri looks at her with the same soft and patient look in her brown eyes, "We're people who can help, who can stop this thing. But you're gonna have to trust us, just a little."

And just like that, Jenny opens the door for the four adults, plus the little Winchester, to walk inside.

Juliet shares an impressed look with Dean as they walk inside the house, "Can we keep her? She'll be amazing for future situations like these where we need people to listen."

Dean shakes his head with a chuckle as Sam shuts the door behind them.

โ€ข โ€ข โ€ข

A few moments later, the three hunters and Missouri stand in Sari's bedroom, Jenny's daughter having opted to stay downstairs to color with Harlow, the Winchester offspring more than glad to have made another new friend after Lucas.

Juliet watches as Missouri looks around the room. She does the same, too. A subtle feeling of familiarity hitting her, it's as if she recognizes it...like a distant memory. Missouri's voice snaps her out of the nostalgic feeling, "If there's a dark energy around here, this room should be the center of it."

Sam furrows his eyebrows, confused by her words.

"Why?"

Missouri smiles at him, "This used to be your nursery, Sam. This is where it all happened." Sam glances at the ceiling, the subtle smell of fire filling up his senses like a cup filling up with water. A flash of an image of a fire enters his mind, but as soon as it's there, it's gone. He shakes his head as Dean pulls out his EMF meter that looks like a busted up walkman, the one he had made.

Missouri raises her eyebrow at it before she looks to Dean, "EMF?"

Dean looks at her with a proud smile, "Yeah."

Missouri scoffs, "Amatuer."

Just like that, Dean's smile is wiped from his face as he instead glares at Missouri, he looks to Juliet to complain but falls short as he sees the look of confusion on her face. He silently approaches her and puts his hand on the small of her back, "What is it?"

Juliet jumps, not expecting him to be so close. She sighs before answering his question. "It's just...this was Sam's nursery?" Dean nods his head, "Yeah?" She looks to him, detecting the underlying question in his tone. "So where did I sleep?"

Dean smiles at her, "In my room."

The huntress raises her eyebrows at that, "In your room? What, was this nursery not big enough for another baby?" Dean chuckles as he shakes his head, "Oh, believe me. Mom and Dad tried to put you in here with Sam but you weren't having any of it. You kicked up a fuss, so they put you in with me, your crib was in the corner of the room, and you miraculously settled down."

Juliet laughs, "I bet you enjoyed having a baby in the room." Dean smiles as he hears the sarcasm in her tone, "Surprisingly, I didn't mind it. You were great company."

Juliet rolls her eyes but there's a hint of a smile on her face as she playfully elbows him in the side.

Suddenly his EMF meter starts beeping like crazy, drawing both of their attention. Dean removes his hand from Juliet's back and turns to nudge Sam, once he has his brother's attention he looks down to the EMF.

Missouri notices it, too. She turns and looks at the three hunter's, "I don't know if you guys should be disappointed or relieved, but this ain't the thing that took your mom."

Sam looks at the fellow psychic, eyes wide.

"Wait, are you sure?" Missouri nods her head, but that's not a good enough answer for him. "How do you know?"

Missouri eyes the taller Winchester, "It isn't the same energy I felt the last time I was here. It's somethin' different." Dean tilts his head confused by her statement, "What is it?" He sees Missouri shake her head, "Not it." They all watch as she opens the closet door as she continues, "Them. There's more than one spirit in this place, three if I had to guess."

Sam, Dean and Juliet share a look at that. One ghost, sure piece of cake. Two ghosts, a little harder but they would get the job done. Three ghosts? Well in Juliet's eyes, that's just taking the piss. Sure, they're experinced hunter's and have been doin' the gig since they could walk, but three ghosts? At once? That's gonna be a lot to handle, but Juliet is never one to back down from a challenge.

Dean shakes his head, this shock wearing off.

"What are they doing here?"

Missouri looks between Dean and Sam, "They're here because of what happened to your family. You see, all those years ago, real evil came to you. It walked this house. That kind of evil leaves wounds. And sometimes, wounds get infected." Her eyes move to Juliet, "And I'm sorry to say Juliet, but that evil got ahold of your parents, too."

Juliet raises her eyebrows, "What do you mean? My parents died from a werewolf attack. John said so." Missouri narrows her eyes at that piece of new information and just hums in reply, dropping the subject. Dean shares a look with Juliet, a look that she just shrugs her shoulders to. Missouri must be confused, maybe her psychic powers are being muddled by the three spirits. Yeah, that has to be it.

Sam eyes Missouri, shaking his head in confusion.

"I don't understand."

Missouri smiles at him softly as she faces him, "This place is a magnet for paranormal energy. It's attracted a poltergeist. A nasty one. And it won't rest until Jenny and her babies are dead."

Juliet raises an eyebrow, a blow feels like it's been dealt to heart at hearing those words. They have to put a stop to it before it has the chance to succeed in it's goal. She looks to Missouri, her eyebrows still raised, "You said there was three spirits?"

Missouri nods her head, "There is. I just can't quite make out the second and third one."

Dean looks to Missouri, a hard look in his eyes as he voices exactly what Juliet's thinking.

"Well, one thing's for damn sureโ€“- nobody's dyin' in this house ever again. So whatever is here, how do we stop it?"

โ€ข โ€ข โ€ข

They find themselves back at Missouri's house. The five of them sitting around the table with different herbs and roots sitting in front of them as they make hex bags of sorts, something that Missouri suggested they do.

Harlow sits on Dean's lap, pouting as she watches her father make one of the said hex bags. She had begged Dean and Juliet to let her stay with her new friend, but they wouldn't let her, her mother quietly telling her that's it's too dangerous for them to leave her alone, that and Dean and Juliet would worry when not having her in their sights. So, here she sits, ignoring both of her parents.

Juliet sighs as she watches Harlow from where she sits opposite Dean, the said man quietly muttering jokes to their daughter to try and cheer her up, he even lets her take part in the hex bag making, knowing his daughter likes to be helpful in situations like this, but even that isn't working. He sighs, meeting eyes with Juliet, who shugs. She watches as he shakes his head before turning to Missouri as he moves onto making another hex bag.

"So, what is all this stuff, anyway?"

Missouri looks up from her own bag that she's making, to answer Dean's question.

"Angelica root, Van Van oil, crossroad dirt, a few other odds and ends."

Dean raises an eyebrow as he finishes up the bag by tying it up with a piece of string.

"Yeah? What are we supposed to do with it?"

Juliet shakes her head at Dean, detecting the mocking tone in his voice. She understands why he's so on edge. He did tell Sam that he didn't want to come back to Kansas, but she also knows that he can see why they're back and isn't regretting his decision to help Jenny, but he will be grumpy about it.

Missouri frowns at the tone of Dean's voice, meeting it with an obvious tone of her own.

"We're gonna put them inside the walls in the north, south, east and west corners on each floor of the house."

Dean shakes his head with a scoff, "We'll be punchin' holes in the dry wall. Jenny's gonna love that."

Missouri gives Dean a look, her reply sly.

"She'll live."

Juliet turns in her chair and faces Missouri, her tone much softer than Dean's.

"And this will destroy the spirits?"

Missouri nods her head, "It should." She looks to Juliet, knowing that the woman wants her to elaborate, so she does. "It should purify the house completely. We'll each take a floor. But work fast. Once the spirits realize what we're up to, things are gonna get bad."

Juliet feels an emotion twist and turn in her get. She doesn't know why, but she has a feeling that the two other spirits aren't what they think they are. She can't help but feel like they shouldn't harm nor get rid of the other two spirits that Sari mentioned.

Either way, they have a lot of work to do and a lot of bags to make. It's best they get to work and make as many as they can, as quickly as they can.

They have some spirits to hunt.

Author's note

Hi there!

That's a wrap for the second part of 'Home'!

Fair warning, this chapter hasn't been edited, so you may come across spelling mistakes. If/when you do, I can only apologize! It's currently 1am where I am and in all honesty? Cba to edit and proof read my mistakes, right now. But I will get round to doing it at some point!

Soo, Missouri now knows. The wheels are now in motion.

And John made a small little cameo in this chapter...believe me if Juliet knew he was there, he would of gotten a punch to the face and a broken nose for good meassure, that time will come soon, I assure you. You guys just have to wait it out for a little longer, I know you guys are dying to know the outcome of Dean finding out and all I can say is, it won't be pretty.

Also, Juliet got to keep a newspaper with a picture of her mother and father on it, she can now but features to their faces, which will come in handy for the next chapter ;) I won't spoil it, though, but best believe she'll cut that picture out and add it to her memory box, which we'll see in a later season.

Speaking of Lydia and Joseph...Missouri's reaction to hearing how Juliet's parents died, was a little odd. Hmmm, I wonder what she knows?? Guess you'll have to find that out in the next chapter, too. You don't think I'm going to skip over the John and Missouri scene, do you?

And Harlow made another friend, how adorable is that! Honestly she deserves the world as as much pie as she can get her hands on. Like father like daughter, am i right? Also it was her birthday three days ago, so if you haven't wished her a happy birthday, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? SAY IT RIGHT NOW!

I hope you enjoyed this chapter, please don't forget to vote and comment! I didn't get a lot of comments in the last chapter which kinda sucks because I enjoy replying to them. Please don't think I'm crying out for comments or writing this story just for the comments, because I'm not. Promise. I appreciate my silent readers just as much as I appreciate my readers who like to make themselves known.

Hopefully the wait for the next chapter won't be as long, but as always. It will probably be the second to last chapter I post before christmas. As I at least want to publish the first part of the episode 'Asylum' before christmas comes along!

With that, I'll leave you be!

Until next time...
