Three Months Later
Elaena watched in awe as she saw Eddarion and Jamerion flying high above in the sky.... The young blue and the gold hatchling dove into the sea catching two pieces of fish between their mouths before breathing out fire onto it and devouring it.They were getting bigger with each passing day. 3 months ago they were the size of a pea but now they were as big as a cat.
" They're growing fast, your grace " Cadal smiled, the young Braavos knight standing next to her watching the two dragons.
" Yes, though not fast enough " She mumbled while stroking Eddarion and Jamerion by their heads softly.
" I can't wait that long while my mother and brother are in danger from the Lannisters, my brother barely has half the force to continue on with the war " she added.
They let out a soft speech, enjoying their mother's touch before taking off to the skies once more." I need an army, " the young ice dragon explained, , turning on her side, staring at Cadal.
" We'll be in New Ghis by nightfal, some say the Unsullied from Astaphor and The Ghiscari are the greatest soldiers in the world. " the Braavosi knight replied.
" The greatest soldiers that are slaves forced to fight, I don't want to force people to fight for me if they don't choose to and I'm not sure if this is a good idea since The Ghiscari and My Culture has had past tensions in the past " Elaena rejondered.
" I doubt they would want to fight for a Valyrian like me, after what my ancestors did to their city, " she added.
" There are many slaves among the city, most of them women and children from what I heard from Lady Naerella, her siblings Elisaria and Henley may among of those trapped children '' Cadal inputted.
" How will I take the city without any innocents getting hurt or without being seen as a conqueror by the people, the last time the Ghiscari people saw a dragon it was burning down their city.... I don't wish to repeat ancient history " she pointed out.
" You are not like you ancestors, Elaena. Perhaps a little diplomacy with the lawmakers may help. " Cadal advised.
" Yes, I'll think that's a wonderful idea perhaps if I try to connect with the people maybe they can help me abolish slavery."
"That could take centuries, Your Grace. Changing a tradition is a feat in and of itself." Andros said.
" I don't care how long it takes, I will not rest until every slavez woman, child and man there are freed from those masters and construct a new order for the town ." Elaena states
" Whatever you decide, your grace we are with you " Andors repiled.
" Thank you " Elaena smiled at the two young soldiers before making her way past them and headed down in the lower parts of the ships to check on her little cubs who were probably awake at the moment in need of another feeding.
The Braavosi knight watched as the young ice dragon walked away, his eyes staring at her deeply, a loud cough disturbed him from his thoughts.
" What? " Cadal asked, glancing over at his friend who was staring at him with a look.
" She's married, " He reminded his friend.
" Yeah, married to the kingslayer " the young fighter mumbled under his breath.
" You need to bury whatever feelings you have for her and focus on protecting her, " Andros advised.
" I don't know what you're talking about I don't have feelings for----
" Oh, bloody hells don't even try to deny.....I've seen the way you've looked at her these past few months, it's not her you want it is her heart it will past "
" I don't know what you're talking about Andros, but I don't share any romantic feelings for the Princess, " Cadal exclaimed glaring at his best friend before walking away.
Andros shook his head and sighed as he watched his best friend walk away. He needs a wife then maybe he would move on past whatever he was feeling.

A certain young red wolf was exploring the streets of Norvos, Shemuel and Lady trailed behind her....The Yiddish Lord began to explain to her more about the traditions that took place there.
"You have heard of the people being forced to mate with wolves. Well, let's talk about their religion." he went on.
"Do they worship falcon gods and jackal gods too? " asked Sansa.
"No ; their deities have fully human forms like us. They have twelve major rukdtd; their top god having control over thunderbolts. "
"I remember Arya and Myrcella critiquing him ondt. Said thst he takes too many ladies. "
"Don't say that here; it is disrespectful to anyone else who can be here. "
Sansa bowed her head in shame. Looking ahead, she spotted people gathering at a temple flanked by oak trees. An eagle seemed to be perching at the temple's roof as the sun gave the figurine a golden glow.
"Let us join then, little wolf. It is good to be observant in a foreign land. " Lord Shemuel advised.
Sansa followed the instructions, though she did not understand anything the Septon ("It's an oracle, little wolf." Shemuel corrected her.) was saying.
The temple was a marvel to the eyes ; statues of the Norvosi gods and goddesses placed around an altar. Sansa was drawn to the figure of a woman holding a bronze shield with a monster's head plastered on the front. She had not realised that a priestess was behind her, trying to get her attention.
"If you wish to pray to Her Holiness, go kneel at the rug by her feet. "
Sansa nodded, and lifted her skirts. She did not pray to many gods, unless it was the Faith of the Seven. Kneeling before the statue, she closed her eyes.
"If I could request from a goddess like you
May you hear my prayer too
My loved ones are on a dangerous adventure
One to diplomacy, another to manslaughter
May you give them wisdom, to serve as light
In their brightest days and their darkest nights
Defend them through a strategic mind
And justice for my family, they shall find. "
Having made her prayer, she waited for Lord Shemuel to guide her out of the building, only to find him conversing with a lady whom she thought resembled Princess Elia Martell, as p TV ortrayed in the murals.
"Sansa, this is Princess Mellario of Norvos. She will be your mentor in stately matters." introduced the YiTish Lord.
Mellario smiled at the young Stark girl. Arianne was so much like her when she was younger. Has she grown into a ruler now?, she mused.
"Come along now, little dove. You must be tired." she spoke up, and guided Sansa towards a carriage and soon the young red wolf began her journey.

A wooden wheelhouse rode towards the orphanage, the scent of excrement filling the air. A summer's day was a great time to do charity work, but the aforementioned odors seemed to dampen the mood. Margaery Tyrell covered her nose in disgust; she would rather stay in the Red Keep than endure this.
She had done charity work for years, a mandatory quality for a 'true' Tyrell. She was glad to have secured a powerful match in Joffrey. That way, she could also protect Loras from Stannis Baratheon's stricter standards on sexuality. Joffrey would harm him too, if he found out, she pondered.
The carriage soon came to a stop, the young Tyrell stepped out of the carriage her long dress dragging through the mud which she detested but shook her thoughts away remembering why she was doing this and what it meant for her family's recently elevated standing at court.
"My Lady, you're ruining your dress. " scolded a handmaiden.
"I have others." replied Margaery, who was a little too smug about it. Walking into the orphanage as if the world revolved around her, she noticed the saddened expression of the Septa as the children gathered around a beautiful sculpture of an ice flower.
"Where did Princess Lyarra go? Did the bad witch kill her? "
"At least she gave us this glowing flower... she's so nice!"
"I honestly don't think the witch would do that. They seem very close. "
Margaery frowned a little. She had heard of Lyarra Lannister, the Kingslayer's wife. It seemed like she's left a mark on the people here.
" I hope she's not dead, she seemed like a great person!"
"I heard Princess Myrcella is great too... if only she was allowed to go outside more."
Margaery ushered the guards to bring in the cart, while she herself approached the children. With a tiny smirk on her face, she sat amongst them, trying to come off as genuine.
"I'm sure she is in a better place."
" Like heaven " one of the children spoke up.
" Yes, when people die all of their souls passed on to heaven and they are at peace " Margaery lied.
" You're Princess Margaery, you are to be the Queen one day " a young boy said.
" Yes, I am going to be and when I am queen I will make sure each and everyone one of you is taken care of... I'll never leave you like Lady Lyarra did " the young Tyrell explained. .
" She didn't leave us she was taken away from us by evil people "
" Yes, bad evil heretics that use their magic to hurt and inflict curses on people.... very dangerous people but I will protect you all " she smiled.
" you promise? " a little girl asked making her way towards her hesitantly wondering if she should trust the new queen.
" I swear it and in return you'll all show me support by remembering my name and giving me praise everyday " Margaery replied.
Most children nodded knowing they need support from the new young expect for some, " Lady Lyarra isn't gone she'll come back one day I know it, she is fighter "
" I bet she is somewhere safe far away from here "
The Tyrell girl began to grit her teeth in frustration, her plans to win this little raggy one was being torn up in flames, they adored Lady Lannister.
" What could she have that I don't, she was a heretic.... a curse some say witch " Margaery thought.
She kept the thoughts to herself, giving the goods to the children. Silks, food, toys... there was nothing she could not offer, except for bringing back the dead to life.
Seeing the children play with their new merchandise, she exited the orphanage and returned to the carriage.
"I still have a box full of Lady Lyarra's gifts. Lete get them! "she heard a child exclaim.
"Yeah, let's!"
Gritting her teeth for the umpteenth time, she watched the blasted orphanage disappear from view, glad to ge returning to the castle. Well, someone's got to replace that dead wolf.

Euphraise Tyrell sat by the window, her long, brown hair tied into a braid. Her striking, emerald eyes gazed out of her room's window, admiring the seascape. She had always dreamed of coming to the capital but not in wartime. Margaery should be having a field day at the orphanage, smirking in her low-cut dress, she mocked.
She wore a dark green, kimono-style gown, similar to what Sansa would have worn had she not been rescued. Atop her lap was a book on philosophy; a rare find in a woman's hands.
"Reading your books again? You know how the court despises philosophers. " scolded Olenna, who had come to fetch her granddaughter.
"And they praise men for their intellect. The disciplines in philosophy can help in politics too. "
"I doubt Lord Tywin would share your sentimentβ don't roll your eyes like that. "
She sighed closing her book giving her grandmother her full attention, knowing it wouldn't be best to be rude and whatever her grandmother had to say was important.
" I have spoken to the old lion, he has the audacity to marry off your cousin Loras to that old hag of a queen " The queen of thorns scoffed.
" She may be a older women grandmother but she's considered to be the most beautiful women in the seven kingdoms " Euphraise responded.
" Not as beautiful as our lovely Margaery, once she becomes queen and control that boy fully the lioness will be out of the way "
" Well, things seems to be going well in Margaery's favor, the king seems to listen to her closely " she hummed.
" Yes, but how long do you think your cousin can control that mad boy before he gets out of hand.... it's only a matter of time before her grip on him loosen " Olenna said.
" I assure you that it wouldn't come to that. As the queen of thorns you always have a clever plan in mind. "
" You know me too well, darling " Olenna smirked grabbing her granddaughter's hands with hers.
" I have good news, I have secured a match for you my dear, a worthy match " she added.
Euphrasie eyes lit up with curious and slight excitement, the young Tyrell girl had been waiting for a good match for quite a while and was glad she was finally going to find a husband and leave home.
" Who is it, is he handsome, kind? " She asked, blushing a bit.
" Oh, hush now little one none of those matters only his titles, you will be marrying Ser Jaime once the young wolf is defeated and he is freed from his imprisonment, in about a year the wedding will be held here after Margaery and Joffrey's wedding "
" The Kingslayer, you're marrying me off to a man who sleeps with his own sister and doesn't he have a wife? " Euphraise exclaimed, throwing her hands up.
" Again, my dear none of those matters only his titles and name.... his past wife Lady Lyarra has died poor child no doubt that old hag had something to do with it but it doesn't matter she's gone and Ser Jaime will need a new wife and heirs to pass Casterly Rock to " Olenne said.
" You will be Lady Lannister one day, one of the richest women in the seven kingdoms, " she added.
" The Queen will kill me before she lets Ser Jaime marry me, if she had anything to do with Lady Yarra's demise than I am not comfortable with crossing her path. "
" You leave that lioness hag to me, she will not do anything, not while her father is here " The queen of thorns reassured her youngest granddaughter brushing off her fears.
The young Tyrell nodded not quite believing her grandmother but knew not to question her on the manner anymore for what she said goes.
" I hope he likes me, " She mumbled.
" Oh he'll love you my dear with the right persuasion " Olenna said with a devilish smile.
She glanced at her grandmother knowing whatever she had planned couldn't be good but again didn't say anything and instead thought about her future husband.
" I will be Lady Lannister one day, Lady of Casterly Rock, wife of the kingslayer Ser Jaime, hopefully he will like me and find me attractive, maybe one day love me " She thought.
She was unaware that her dreams and hopes would be tarnished soon enough, for the golden lion's heart would always remain to the ice dragon and would never find love again in another woman.
Β _________
Hot winds breeze around them and blow in her face a bit, New Ghis was a desert climate. She was not used to the heat and much preferred the cold, which was amusing; the irony being how dragons usually survived in the heat.
Elaena was making her way through the streets glancing around noticing many chained people being whipped and mistreated by masters. " Good thing I left my little cubs back at the ship cabin with Narella, no doubt this weather would make them ill "
Among the suffering folk was a girl of around nine; skinny, scantily clad and clearly dehydrated. Her face looked as hollow as a chasm, eyes lacking the spark most children should have. Yet there she stood, trying not to show fear in front of her master. Black curls were tied into two buns, fire threatening to burn them off if the child misbehaved.
"Now jackal, what did I tell you about that pail of water? " scolded a deep voice.
"To put it in the lady's tub." replied the child. She had been put through several scoldings of that kind, hence her almost robotic tone.
"And where did you put it? "
"On the floor Master, butβ"
"Do not reason with me; go fetch water for my wife, or I'll burn those curls of yours. They've grown too long for you to listen properly. "
The girl ran off into an alley, taking a large pail with her. Elaena glanced at the nobleman, and was about to do something drastic, but Cadal stopped her.
"Not so fast, Princess. The nobles here aren't willing to abolish slavery that easily." he warned.
"But she's a child! How dare that man call her a jackal; what did he think of her, some servant!?" Elaena hissed.
"Unfortunately yes. "
Elaena stepped back, observing the people. She could not believe how awful the situation was, but another thing that caught her mind was a merchant... buying the injured folk. This isn't a slave city for nothing, she mused.
"It would be tough for everyone if slavery was abolished so soon; it is like enforcing an economic sanction for no reason. " quipped Andros.
"Slavery is bad, Andros." Elaena insisted.
"Not when it is all you have known your whole life, Princess. Consider yourself lucky, and learn to see different perspectives. " Cadal advised, as he led the mother dragon across merchant stalls, suffering children and abusive masters.
"These people have been conditioned to accept that they are animals; it will take time to convince then otherwise." added Andros.
The thought of the mental torment these people faced daily suddenly sunk in like failing debris from the Doom. Is this how Cersei became who she is today? Elaena nodded and silenced her protests for the moment. Someday, things would change for those people.
"Don't they realize that they have a choice? "
"A choice punishable by death. They'd rather not risk it." responded Andros, with him and Cadal giving a signal to an ornately decorated carriage.
"How do you two know so much? "
"We went through it."
" How did you manage to escape? " She asked glancing at the two in pity.
" We killed our master, we were only young boys at the time but managed to escape. We later took a ship to Bravos, then joined the Golden Company where Harry hired us for our skills. " Andros responded.
" Do you miss it? " the young ice dragon asked.
" Yes. sometimes but we wanted to embrace on a new journey of our lives and explore more, instead of fighting and killing all the time as we had to do our entire lives " Cadal added.
" I'm sorry that this happened to you guys, no one was looking out for you two or cared for you but I can be that somebody for these people, I can make things better around here I know it. " Elaena explained.
" And I shall, " she added with a smirk.
The two soldier glanced at one another nervously wondering what their princess was planning, " May we ask what this plan is? "
" Just leave it to me. " She simply said.
" I don't need a carriage, I will walk on foot " She added signaling the carriage away.
" Your Grace. It's not safe to walk on foot a carriage is much more suitable for a woman of your status " Cadal said.
" I am no princess, nor a noble woman. I am just a young girl fighting to survive so you don't have to call me "Your Grace" because I am no longer considered a Stark but a Targaryen, my brother has disinherited me of my title and claim due to the fact I am still tied to the Lannister name. " the young ice dragon said sighing.
" So I will just try to support my brother by gaining alliances for the north and bring more men to his cause. " she added.
" But you are the rightful heir to the north, he can't just disinherit you and cast you to the side. "
" Technically, I'm not since I was born a woman the custom in Westeros is different from the ones here in Essos, only first born male sons can inherit a land for themselves women can't since we are seen as just birthing cows. " Elaena explained.
" You are no ordinary high born lady, you're not meant to be a mere supporter but a queen. " they commented, glancing at her.
" I have no desire to rule, I just want to keep my family and children safe. After I free these people and establish a new order to this city I shall sail somewhere and settle down, perhaps Lys or Volantis. " she responded.
" Have you considered the best ruler might be someone who doesn't want to rule? " Cadal commented.
" Robb is a good king, he will protect the north and restore it to its proper glory. . He'll win this war and then return home take a wife and have some heirs then rule for the reaming of his days "
" Your brother has taken a wife already " a voice said behind them.
They turned around and saw Hayate standing in front of them wearing a leather vest and pants, his hair tied back tightly.
" Hayate!" Elaena greeted happily making her way towards the old crow sprint jumping into his arms.
" Hello, princess, miss me? " the old spirit smiled hugging her back tightly.
" Where have you been, is Fuytuski okay, how's Tommen? " Elaena rambled out pulling away from the hug.
" I'm sorry I've been distant I have been taking care of some things and a certain red priestess " Hayate grumbled.
" Melisandre, " Elaena said.
" You know of her? " he asked, glancing at the young dragon curiously.
" Samara told me about her and a few months ago she visited me in my dreams." She answered.
" We'll give you guys a moment " Andros said dragging his friend along with him knowing they need some time to speak their magician businesses.
" Wait, she invaded your dreams.... What did she say to you, did she hurt you? " Hayate asked.
" No, she didn't hurt me, more like help me see sense. She the one who warned me about Rhaenys and told me that I was being a idiot for ignoring Samara this entire time I was letting my flaws get the best of me but now I know I need to learn how to forgive. " Elaean replied.
" Did she say anything else to you? " he questioned.
" Not much but she did say something about some prophecy she said be who I was always meant to be but I'm not sure what she meant ." she mumbled.
" Listen to me, you can't trust anything she says to you she's nothing but an old crock..She's an evil women that burns people for her own pleasure and her lord of light she's not someone you can trust. " He warned.
" I know that but if she wanted to hurt me then how come she hasn't already? " the young ice dragon inquired.
" You never know she can strike at any moment, one minute she considered herself a friend than the next your enemy, she only serves herself and the lord of light " Hayate states.
The young ice dragon nodded taking her guardian's words to heart, " I will keep my guard up "
" Good, now how have you been.... how's the little one?" Hayate asked, linking arms with her.
The two began to walk around the city more glancing around at their surroundings
" I'm fine just tired. My little cubs have been keeping me up all night, they're growing every day and now have a full head of hair, " Elaena smiled.
" Motherhood is often tiring at times but in your case you're a mother to triplets and dragons so it must be very exhausted. I would suggest getting a nursemaid to help; there are a few in Braavos, you could hire as much as you need."
" I'll be fine without them, beside I'm not comfortable leaving my children alone with strangers. "
" I understand but if you change your mind I can help find one that is trustworthy and will make sure to a full background check on them "
" As for Fuyutsuki he's fine but is weak at the moment but is back in Karmakara recovering, and for Tommen he is fine and safe in King's Landing but the poor boy is feeling alone and depressed at the moment luckily Leo is keeping him company who by the way is now as the size of a cat " Hayate added.
" ill, did he catch sick or something? " Elaena questioned her mind beginning to fill with worry.
" Something like that, he overused his magic and I possessed his body for a time. "
" What!" Elaena exclaimed, stopping for a moment turning to look at the old spirit as if he was crazy.
" I'm sorry I had no choice, we got into an altercation with Mellisandre, which ended in violence. My body was beginning to break down, and being a millennia old is quite hard sometimes and take a toll on me, so I had to take over a young vessel at the time being until I got my strength back. " The old spirit crow explained.
" But he's fine and you're fine " she asked.
" Yes, he is fine and will recover but my body is beginning to die out. I don't know how much time I have left " Hayate sighed.
" What do you mean, you're immortal isn't death just a joke to beings like you? " Elaena teased.
" I've used a lot of magic and my body force to get out of serious situations but every time I do it left an effect on me and my body. " He responded.
" I'm sure you'll recover all you need is rest " the young ice dragon said, trying to brush his worries away.
" Yes, just rest " He said with a tight smile not wanting her to worry about him.
" So, who has my brother taken as a wife I thought he was promised to a frey "
" He was until he fell in love with Jeyne Westerling and took her as his wife " he hummed .
" Jeyne Westerling, he's married the vassal of an enemy, and broke his vow. " Elaena realized, scratching her head. Robb, what have you done?
Hayate gave his descendant's friend a sad look. Both had thought similar things. A broken promise made by a king during wartime reaped dangerous fruit. His thoughts were interrupted when branches started to appear on his hands, a mark perhaps made by the gods.
"You have been away from the Tree for far too long, warrior spirit. Use any more of your power and you may end up fused into a tree for all your days. " warned a voice.
"... just like the Three-Eyed Raven." he muttered.
Elaena can't know about this. Hiding the new patterns under long sleeves, he followed the young dragon into the city.
" So, young padawan, what's the plan " He asked glancing over at her.
" Have something tricky up my sleeve but don't worry I have it all figured out," Elaena said.
" Does this plan involve violence? " he questioned.
" A little but only to the ones who deserved it, as the saying goes, Mirre quba vali morghΕ«lis " she smirked before walking ahead.
The old crow spirit shook his head wondering what the young ice dragon was up to. Whatever it was couldn't be good but trust her, he followed after the young princess
