The Wall
" Winter is finally here ," Jon thought as he stood out on the balcony of his chambers taking in the cold breeze. Snow fell from the sky, he reached out with his hand and caught a snowflake. He gazed down at the snowflake, and a smile broke out on his face, starting to remember all the old times when He, Robb, Lyarra, Arya, Sansa, Bran, Theon, and Rickon would play in the snow, throwing snowballs at one another.
Lyarra would use her powers during this time of year to bring back Freezy for the time being. How young and happy they have were back then.
Now, their pack was divided and wiped out. Robb was dead, betrayed at the hands of his own bannerman, and The Freys. Lyarra, Arya, and Sansa were missing, Rickon was in Kamakura with Empress Kyoko. Then, came Bran who was believed to be dead.
The Wolves were no more but a bunch of scattered pups. The Lions had won the war, and Winterfell was now in control of the Boltons.
House Stark was no more in everyone's eyes, nothing but a once ancient great house until they were wiped out by The Great Lion Tywin Lannister.
The young White Wolf hoped his siblings were out there somewhere alive and happy. Somewhere far away from Westeros and its treacherous politics.
Suddenly, a knock on the door cut him out of his thoughts. Jon turned around averting his attention to the door wondering who it was now.It had been a few months since he had been elected as Lord Commander of the Night's Watch and not once has he had been able to catch a break without being bugged.
Growing up, he loathed being a bastard and wished he was like Robb, a highborn lord with the same privileges and greatness as his brother had. Through, Lady Catelyn would remind him time and time again he was nothing but scum and didn't belong in the North.
Years later, he was in Robb's shoes and couldn't help but miss being a nobody. He hated the responsibilities, politics and work that involved being a leader. The young white Wolf missed his easy life he had in Winterfell.
Jon cleared his throat and spoke. " Who is it?"
The door opened and an older woman walked in cradling a black haired infant in her arms. The women curtsy before him. " Lord Commander, I am sorry for the interruption. But, your daughter Lady Accalia is quite cranky. I believe she missed her father.
Jon's eyes softened, his gaze landed on his littlest wolf who was babbling in the women's arms. She lifted her little hands up trying to reach out to him" Give her here."
The woman stepped towards him cradling the little one in her arm, handing her over to her father. Jon extended his arms around his daughter, rocking her back and forth.
He gazed down at his daughter with nothing but love and warmth in his eyes. As the days passed, she was beginning to look like her mother. " If only Ygritte was here." He thought sadly.
Ygritte, the woman he had grown to love, his little firecracker, the mother of his child. He never imagined he would fall for another woman after Samara. He had thought he would never find love again, yet when he met Ygritte his heart had warmed again. How he had so many hopes and dreams for them, but life is not a song he remembered.
She was dead and had left him alone in this world with their daughter. Accalia let out a happy squeal babbling out some random stuff. She raised a hand to her father's check, stroking it gently.
Jon smiled at his daughter. She was the only thing he had left in this world, she was his pride, joy and happiness. Yet, despite that he felt guilty for making an offspring and bringing them into this treacherous world.
She would not have an easy life, she was a Bastard and wouldn't be extended the same luxurious life as other highborn ladies had. Jon wanted nothing more for his daughter to have a happy life, a life where she could have everything she desired.
But, sadly he would never be able to have the most glorious life as other ladies had. He could only hope he would truly be enough for his daughter.
" She is truly beautiful, mi lord." The older woman said, gazing down at the little bundle in his arms.
" Just like her mother." He mumbled.
" Mi Lord, may I speak freely." The midwife asked.
Jon nodded. " You may."
The woman cleared her throat and spoke. " The men are starting to get suspicious, especially Ser Thorne. They will soon find out about Accalia.
" Yes, I know." Jon said, with a sign.
" The wall is no place for raising an infant, mi lord." The woman said. I think it would be best if you sent her to be fostered somewhere else, perhaps one of the Northern houses can take her in.
The White Wolf shook his head. " No, my daughter stays with me.
The women gazed at the Stark deeply. " She is not safe here! " She exclaimed.
" If they find out about her, they won't take kindly to the fact that you have broken your vows and your daughter may have to pay the price for that broken oath." She added.
" I can't just abandon my daughter." Jon defended. " She needs me, I won't cast her away as my father did with me.
"I understand your reasoning, mi lord." She said, " But, I ask that you reconsider. The wall is a cold and dangerous place; it's not meant for children.
With that, the women curtseyed before turning around and leaving the room leaving the White Wolf to his thoughts.
Jon gazed down at his daughter, her liac eyes meeting his eyes. " I will never leave you, littlest wolf."
He began to think back to Ygritte and the promise he made to her on her deathbed.
" Promise me, you'll take care of our daughter. You won't let any harm get to her and most importantly you will tell her about me and how much I love her."
Jon glanced up at Ygritte tearfully and nodded. " I promise, my love.
Since that day the White Wolf had kept his promise and would continue to do so. He would protect his littlest wolf always.

Beyond the wall, Bran was in a trance again, eyes rolled back as visions flew fast in his mind. He did not understand what this all meant; of all Starks, why was he the one to fall? Granted, that one was his fault. Why was he gifted with Green sight (as Jojen put it)? Why not Jon? Arya could have used a little foresight to be that impulsive wolf....
How he wished he could be normal again as he once was. A boy that carved adventure and wished to be a great knight like Ser Jaime was.
But, his dreams were all tarnished when he fell from that tower. If only he had listen to his mother about climbing, yet he didn't and was paying the consequences for his disobedience.
The adventure Wolf was tired of feeling defenseless and useless. He hated having to be carried as if he was a sack of potatoes.
All he wanted was to be able to walk again, ride a horse again. " Why in the gods was he being punished?" He thought.
Bran let out a frustrated cry as he felt his emotions washed through him. Meera who was sleeping a few centimeters from him awoke to the sound.
" What's wrong? " Meera asked, shifting towards him wrapping her cloak around her shoulders more.
Bran didn't answer her and instead turned his head around. " It's nothing, just go back to sleep.
The young Reed wasn't convinced of his words, she lay a comforting hand on his back. " It's okay if you don't want to talk." Just know that I'm here for you.
Bran turned his head to her, smiling at her. " Thank you."
" As I've said before, we're in this together." Meera said, grabbing his hand with his. " I'll never leave you."
" Do you think I'm useless? " Bran asked, glancing at her.
Meera shook her head. " I think you are brave and handsome ."
The Wolf's face began to turn red at her comment. " Really?"
" Yes." Meera smiled. " You shouldn't be hard on yourself, you know. You've been through so much and have kept pushing on.
" You are strong Bran Stark, never forget that." She added.
Bran let out a sign. " I don't feel strong, I'm tired of living this way. I just want to be something like the rest of my siblings are.
Meera gazed at the young Stark in pity. " You are someone, you're special in your own way."
" How is being a cripple special?" He inquired. " I can't walk, fight or even ride a horse. Seven hells, I can't even shower by myself. " I'm weak, Meera.
The young Reed lifted a hand to his check, stroking it gently. Bran turned his gaze to him staring deeply until her eyes until she stared back at him.
The two gazed at one another deeply, never once breaking contact. " Meera." Bran whispered, lowering his gaze to her chapped lips.
" Yes, Bran." Meera said.
Bran grabbed her by the face gently and lowered his lips against hers. Meera froze at his actions, but didn't disprove and leaned into the kiss.
The two lost themselves to their own emotions before finally regaining their sense and breaking away from each other. They glanced at one unsure what to say or do next not expecting this.
" Meera- I " Bran was about to say, but was cut off by Meera.
" I'm going to gather some more firewood." Meera said. " We're running low.
The young Reed got up from the ground and walked away leaving the young Wolf to wonder what just happened.
" Why in the seven hells did I do that? " He wondered,
Β Β Β Β Β King's Landing
Mrycella and Tommen were standing outside their mother's chambers, hesitating to knock. For the last few weeks, the Lionesshave been in a foul mood since her golden boy's death and all but have been lashing out at everyone.
" Cella, I think we should leave mother alone to her grief." Tommen said.
The young Lioness shook her head. " If we continue to leave her alone to her grief, she'll grow mad." She needs us right now.
The young King nodded. " I guess you're right."
The two knock on the door and wait for a response. After a few minutes of waiting, they opened the door and entered the room.
They walked inside and saw their mother was sitting down drunk as a skunk. " I said I didn't wish to be disturbed." Cersei hissed, lifting her gaze up ready to snap at the person, but only to see it was just her children.
Tommen and Mrycella stepped forward smiling softly at her. " Mother." They said in unison.
Cersei regarded her children for a moment. " Shouldn't you be at your council meeting, Tommen.
" Yes, but I wanted to see how you were doing Mother." The young Lion answered.
" You are a King now, Tommen, you can't be blowing off your duties." Cersei said, sternly. " Joffrey would never be so careless in forgetting his duties.
" Joffrey is gone now, Mother." Mrycella said.
The Lioness lifted her gaze to her daughter, eying her coldly, still not forgetting how she had humiliated her. " Yes, thanks to your cold blooded bastard imp of uncle. No matter, he will pay for what he has done to my Joffrey.
" Uncle Tyrion is innocent, Mother." Tommen defended.
" You don't know your Uncle as I do." Cersei hissed. " He killed your brother. He would kill all of us if he could, he's a monstrous little imp.
The young viper Lioness shook her head wondering how her mother could have so much hatred for her own family member. " Uncle Tyrion isn't like that at all, Mother." That sounds like more of you doing.
The Queen glanced at her daughter amused. " Your time with those dornish scum has certainly turned you into a disrespectful little whore." You raise your skirts up willingly to that boy.
" Do you think he loves you?" She asked, sacristally. " The only thing he wants is your cunt and once you give it to him he will cast you aside like dirt.
Mrycella stood there unfazed by her mother's words. " I am not that weak little girl anymore, mother. I'm old enough to make my old decisions and what I want is Trystane. And, if anyone is the whore here why don't you take a look at your own reflection.
Cersei got up from her seat and delivered a harsh slap across her daughter's face. " How dare you speak to me like that." If you weren't my daughter would have your tongue cut out.
" Mother!" Tommen exclaimed, glancing at her in shock at her actions.
Myrcella lifted her gaze to her mother ignoring the sign of pain on her cheeks and her bruised lip. " I only speak the truth, Mother." You are nothing but a jealous, hateful, veile, disgusting whore.
Cersei lifted her hand about to slap her again, but Tommen grabbed her hand and stopped her. " Ah, I see you too have become veile like your sister. Letting your heart cloud your judgment instead of using your mind. Writing to that Baratheon girl begging her to be your wife. How did I raise such pathetic children?
" Love is weakness." She spat out. " A king can't not let his heart lead him astray. That Baratheon Girl would be your downfall, she will seduce you and trick you into her own will just like your aunt Lyarra did to your Uncle Jaime.
Tommen shook his head. " Shireen isn't like that at all, Mother." She is one of the most honest, beautiful people I have ever known. I love her and I will make her my queen as I desire.
Cersei let out a chuckle. " Oh, my son, you poor fool that won't be happening. " Me and your grandfather have decided you will marry Margaery Tryell.
" I will not." Tommen hissed.
" Yes, you will." Cersei said. " Remember, I am your regent until you are of age.
Mrycella gazed over at her brother in pity before turning her gaze on her mother. " Then, perhaps he is in need of a new regent.
The Lioness's eyes widened at her daughter's words. " What."
" Yes, I think I do." Tommen said. " In fact, I believe it's time to get a new hand as well.
" You can't mean it." The Lioness said, in a quiet tone realizing her power of her son was shrieking.
The young King smirked at his mother. " I do." I want you out of this city by the next moon, if not I will forcefully remove you.
" I am your Mother." Cersei yelled.
" Yes, but you're also a dowager queen now." The viper Lioness said. " Also Tommen say is final which means I would suggest you start packing, the journey back to Casterly Rock is quite long.
The Lioness threw her goblet across the room causing it to shatter on the floor. " I am not leaving."
Tommen stepped towards her. " Yes, you are."
Cersei shook her head. " No, I'm not." I won't abandon you, you are my son.
" You've already abandoned me years ago." The young Lion said. " Letting Joffrey mistreat me and Celia like dogs and let him get away with his behavior.
" I'm done." He hissed. " I want you out of my sight." You will return to Casterly Rock where you shall remain until I decide what to do with you.
Cersei dropped to the ground and began to sob out grabbing this arm. " My son, please I love you." Don't do this to me, I am your Mother.
Tommen shook his touch away and turned on his heel walking out of the room, Mrycella followed after him ignoring their mother's frantic calls.
They exited the room and saw a guard was positioned out the door. Tommen turned to the guard and ordered him to not let anyone in this room.
The guard nodded obeying his king's orders immediately. Tommen and Mrycella walked down the hallway together, the young Lioness gazed over at her brother with a proud smile.
" Wow, I never thought I would see the day." Mrycella smiled.
" You were right, I need to start acting like a King rather than some sheep." Tommen said. " I won't let Mother or Grandfather control me any longer, it's about time I start letting everyone know the power rests somewhere else.
The young Princess nodded. " Just be careful, Grandfather won't be easy to handle as Mother. He won't take lightly that you are dismissing him from his position.
" I know exactly how to handle Grandfather, just leave it to me." Tommen smirked, walking ahead.
.
Mrycella shook his head wondering what her brother was up to. All she knew was that it couldn't be any good for any of them.
