Chapter Fourty : Heartbreaking Discoveries

A few weeks later

Something didn't feel right in the air to her, Lyarra had begun having series of visions of Bran's fall and wondered what it was trying tell her..

Her father had informed her that her mother thought someone had pushed Bran off the tower to keep him quiet about something... There came the assassination attempt.

A storm has truly arrived to King's Landing, Samara and Fuyutyski has been distant towards her these last few weeks.

Another thing of note was what Queen Cersei saw at the tallest tower of the palace. She had seen a woman weave golden strings of what looked like human hair, reciting an ominous chant about truths and dragons. *That foreign b*tch has gone insane*! she told herself.

Kyōko turned around, giving the overdressed monarch a look. *I pity you, Cersei Lannister. You were raised to be admired, and yet here you are, about to lose everything.*"

"Sing me a song, Arya. " Sansa demanded. Why the Red wolf had suddenly dragged her sister out of her training with Syrio was a mystery, but a song? The little wild wolf simply rolled her eyes at the request.

"...I don't know any songs." she admitted..

"That's because you hang out with savages! If you paid mote attention to your ladylike lessonsβ€”"

"I don't care! " Arya hissed.

Sansa glared at her sister. "You promised to try harder when we first got here, but you yourself have gotten worse since leaving Winterfell.

Arya scoffed at her sister. " You've turned against us, and now you want me to sing a song for your close-minded ears?"

"I just want you to have a bright future you know? I promised mother that I would look out for you." Sansa said. You shouldn't waste your time spending it with some swordsmen from Bravos!"

"Unfortunately for you, Father employed him. "Arya saidZ

Sansa hated this. Arya was not learning, and her father was allowing her to grow wild. She was not having this.

"One song Arya, and no attire allowed. "

Arya sighed in defeat. Her sister may look sweet at first glance, but she could be a serious wolf when she wanted to.

*Think of me when the cages close in
Remember me when the lion cub roars
The songs you sang whrn the springtime once came
The heart of a dove that once so tame

When the storm comes and the bloodshed's begun
A red lily thrown fior the monarch in gold
One day the springtime will bring a new age
Until then, Red wolf do not be slain*

" What kind of song is that was terrible!" Sansa exclaimed.

" Well, I'm sorry if it's not up to your perfection your grace "Arya hissed, pushing past her sister.

Sansa simply gaped at Arya. First was that mocking song at Jaime, now this. On second thought, her sister's song sounded quite foreboding. She couldn't help but feel that dread again, like she did when she first saw that strange flower.

Sometimes, she envied her younger sister. While she was favored by her mother for her mΓΈee "Southern" tastes, the rest of her family seemed to favor Arya. No wonder why they let her be herself, while everyone wanted her to "wake up from her fantasies".

Sansa already felt the fear creeping into her. She could sense it in the air. The moment Queen Cersei told her about the Empress of Kamakura, she did not look too happy. The monarch's arrival could only mean one thing; there was indeed a coming storm.

She walked past several hallways, until she reached the godswood. Thankfully, there was no human presence there, or else she might be called a mad girl. She knelt down to pray, but before she could even begin, a chill ran through her spine.

"Must you interrupt me when I'm about to seek guidance from higher powers? " she hissed.

"No. I'm just here to clarify things for you, little dreamer."

"I'm not dreaming, Mister Masato. "

"Yes, you are. The next time you see distorted images, pay closer attention to then. They serve as your sensors for danger."

"There are several guards here. No one will ever try to hurt a future queen. "

"Little wolf, I was a nobleman once. I myself had the same ideas as you at that age. Guess who got me killed?"

"Fuyutsuki. "

"Yes, my brother by law, of all people."

"Why are you telling me this? My sister just sang me a terrible song. "

"We are warning you, Sansa. I hope you listen to me this time. Who knows what your future Prince is hiding. "

Sansa didn't know what to think. On the one hand, the Prince and Queen were reassuring her that everythijg was fine. On the other hand., Lyarra, Arya and even the ghost of Prince Masato was telling her otherwise. An inner voice of hers was telling her that the latter held more weight, but why?

What's with the distorted images and the warnings?

Sansa stood up and grabbed her skirts. *Everything's gone wrong since Lady died...*

_______

Lyarra was sitting down in front of her vanity lost in her own thoughts, Samara stood behind her brushing her hair and braiding it.

The young ice dragon laid a hand on her belly rubbing it softly, " I want to tell Jaime the truth before you say anything I know you said he can't be trusted but I trust him and I know that if I tell him he wouldn't let anything happened to me or our child.

" Lya " Samara was about to say but was cut off.

" He's stopped going to Cersei's bed and is distancing himself from her, he makes me so happy and feel things I've never felt before I think I love him Samara " Lyarra added.

The sorceress sighed. *This is getting complicated. This sort of marriage isn't exactly a comfortable one either. Jaime might be manipulating Lya; she's so young and impressionable while he's more worldly,*, she told herself.

Samara would not know what to do when her best friend found out about Bran's fate.

Speaking of Bran, she had not spoken to him since the healing fiasco. She would really want to find out what he is doing now, but there was someone she needed to take care of.

" I mean I care deeply about him but I honestly think Im starting to feel more than that... It's just when I'm with Jaime he makes me feel whole and complete " Lyarra rambled.

Samara listened, but didn't know what to say. It was very clear in her friend's eyes thst she had really fallen for her husband, which to her was not the ideal man. There was no such person, but finding out that he was the cause of Bran's fall would utterly destroy her.

" I'm going to tell him today... I've made up my mind " Lyarra said standing up and was about to make her way out of the room until all of sudden her eyes started to glow whitish.

Glimpses soon appeared in her eyes and soon she collapses to the ground, " Lya " Samara yelled making her way to her falling friend and taking her in her arms.

Lyarra began to shake and started to mumbled out something that the socuresss couldn't make out.

Lyarra opened her eyes and found herself at the entrance of the broken tower, she hears moans and grunts coming from above.

She climbed the steps of the broken tower reaching the top and was surprised to find Jaime with Cersei there.

She want to gagged out in digusit watching Jaime humping into her and was about to cover her eyes until she heard Cersei yell stop.

The young ice dragon turned her head and saw her brother at the window watching the whole thing.

She watched as Jaime rushed over to him and held him keeping him still, after that became a blurr to her.

" The things I do for love " Jaime said and pushed the young stark out the window.

Lyarra let out a scream and tried to rush over to her brother but couldn't, her knees soon tremble and she fell to the ground.

Sobs started to escape from her mouth at what she witnessed, a loud scream soon erupted from her, anger soon began to raise in her and heartbreak.

Lyarra awoke crying out as she stared up at her friend, " Lya, what's wrong what did you see " Samara asked.

" Jaime is the one who pushed Bran off the tower " Lyarra said sobbing out.

" Lya, I'm so sorry I wanted to tell you so many times but " Samara trailed off.

The young ice dragon soon looked at her friend in shock and betrayal, anger soon rised in her.

" You knew about this " Lyarra hissed.

" Yes " Samara whispered staring at her friend in guilt.

Lyarra untangled herself from the sorceress and stood up, " How could you keep this for me " she yelled.

" Lyarra, I'm sorry I wanted to tell you so many times but there was never a right time and I didn't want you to be hurt " Samara repiled.

" That's your excuse you knew this entire time Jaime pushed Bran off the tower, you told me, I should try to make my marriage work.... you sat back and let me married my brother's attacker " Lyarra growled as her eyes began to turn an icy blue color.

" Lya, please claim down it's not good for the baby " Samara advised.

" Why do you care, it's not as if you care for my feeling anymore " Lyarra scoffed.

" I do care Lya " The socuresss defended.

" I have to get out of here... I can't deal with this right now " Lyarra shook her head and rushed out of the room in tears a trail of ice following behind her.

" Lya, wait " Samara called after.

Samara couldn't even stop her friend from walking away. The only thing that would take away from that was a commotion from outside of the castle.

What's going on?

The sorceress walked out making her way towards the sound .. She saw lannister guards dead on the floor, Jory and William... Lord Stark's trust guard standing above them blood on their clothes

" Lady Samara are you alright" Joey asked coming towards her checking on her

" Yes, I am " Samara nodded.

" What's going on " Samara demanded.

" These men were coming to take Lady Lyarra away we couldn't let that happen, Lord Stark has instructed us to bring you and Lady Lyarra to the tower of the hand " Jory answered.

" Where is Lady Lyarra is she alright " William asked.

" She had to step out at the mm moment " Samara lied.

Panic looks soon spread across the sword men's faces, The socuresss noticed this and knew something was wrong.

" Why, what's wrong " Samara asked.

" We must leave now " Jory said sternly.

" And why is that " Samara questioned.

" We'll explain on the way " William said leading the socuresss out of the room and toward the tower of hand.

" Chaos has truly arrived " Samara thought knowing this wouldn't end well for anyone.
