Chapter Eighty

Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β Β  Norvos

Sansa was walking around town more like skipping breathing in the fresh air, Lord Shemeul and Sandor followed behind her.

The young red wolf glanced up at the blue clear sky enjoying the sight.Β  For the first time in a while, she felt happy and at peace with herself, no longer having to endure any beatings from Joffrey's knights,Β  or being trapped in King's Landing.

Despite this, she felt a bit sad and wanted nothing more than to see her mother and Robb again. The young Stark was tired of hiding in exile, being afraid; all she wanted was to go home.

" Lady Sansa, are you alright?Β  " Lord Shemul asked, cutting her out of her thoughts.

" Yes, I'm fine, just lost in my thoughts " Sansa replied, glancing up at him.

" What's on your mind, little bird? " Sandor asked, glancing at her.

" I was thinking of my mother and my brother Robb how much I miss them " The young red wolf mumbled.

" You'll see them again " The Yiddish lord reassured her.

" Not as long as that little golden shit lives and his bitch whore of a mother " The young clegane knight exclaimed.

" Robb will win the war and bring us all home, " Sansa said.

" I'm afraid your prediction is incorrect, my lady, '' Lord Shemul mumbled.

" What do you mean? " She asked.

" Your brother doesn't have many men, little bird,Β  " Sandor replied. " That, and he broke his oath to the Freys; he married a woman from one of the Lannisters' houses.

" My brother wouldn't do that, " Sansa said, shaking her head not believing what they were telling her.

Lord Shemul sighed. "I'm afraid it's true, my lady. Your brother made a grave mistake. The Freys were his allies, and he betrayed their trust by marrying another. And now, they willΒ  turn against him."

Sansa's eyes widened in shock. "But surely Robb can fix this."

" Lord Walder Frey is not a nice man when crossed, little bird, " Sandor said.Β  " He will not take this news lately, your brother made a vow he would take one of his daughters as his wife, he has gone back on his promise."

Sansa's heart sank as Sandor's words registered in her mind. Lord Walder Frey was not a man to be trifled with, and her brother had broken one of the most sacred vows a man could make in their culture. She couldn't believe Robb had done something so foolish, risking not only his own life but the lives of their entire family.

"Oh Robb, how could you?" she thought, feeling a wave of anger and betrayal wash over her. "How could you throw our entire family's future away for a woman, let alone a woman from the enemy vessel?"

She pictured her mother's face when she heard the news, imagining the horror and despair that would consume her. Her mother had already lost so much, and now her brotherΒ  had doomed them all.

Sansa wondered if they would ever be able to recover from this blow, if they would ever be able to regain their honor and standing in the eyes of their people.

"What will happen to us now?" she whispered, more to herself than to Sandor. "How will we survive this?"

Sandor didn't answer, but she could feel his steady presence beside her, his hand on her shoulder. She drew comfort from that, knowing that he was there to protect her, to guide her through this dark time.

" Your sister will protect us all, " Lord Shemul replied. " When her dragons are grown, she will ice and fire on those demon lions and anyone who stands in the way.

" Elaena doesn't want to come back to Westeros " Sansa said, sniffling. " She told me herself, she thinks we should stay in Essos and make new lives for ourselves.

" She's just scared at the moment " The yiddish said. " Your sister has a lot on her plate right now, she's worried she'll put us all in harm's way and believes hiding in the shadows will keep us safe.

" It doesn't matter where Lady Lannister runs to, Tywin Lannister will never give up trying to find his son's heirs " Theclegane knight exclaimed.

" Why would he be searching for my sister, everyone in Westeros thinks she's dead, " Sansa asked, confused.

" HeΒ  suspects that your sister may still be alive. In any case, it's clear that he's determined to find his son's heirs and secure their claim to Castely Rock. " Lord Shemul replied.

" Your sister's fears are not unfounded, but hiding in the shadows is not a long-term solution. We need to find a way to protect ourselves and our allies while also confronting the Lannisters and their allies head-on. It won't be easy, but it's the only way to ensure our survival and the safety of the realm." He continued.

" I just want to go home, " Sansa whimpered.

" Little bird, everything will be alright, " Sandor said, softly laying a hand on her face and stroking her cheek gently. " I won't let anything happen to you."

" We won't let anything happen to you " The Yiddish man said, correcting the knight.

Sandor glared at the Yiddish lord, annoyed by his presence here, he didn't trust him one bit and wondered what his intentions were with his little bird.Β  " Is he trying to hump her, has he already? " he wondered.

No, that couldn't be Sansa was far too ladylike to open her legs up to a man that she wasn't betrothed to.

" Thank you " Sansa said, glancing up at him with a smile.

" Of course, little bird, " Sandor grumbled. " I'll keep you safe.".

In Braavos, a young man was walking through town with his hood over his head trying to be cautious not to draw attention to himself.

On his shoulders, a black-scale hatchling resided nuzzling into his father's shoulders.Β  He continued walking until stopping in front of a small inn and went in.

Once entering inside, he was greeted by an older red-haired man and that man was Jon Connington. " Griff, where in the seven hells have you been? " the man exclaimed. " You know you can't draw too much attention to yourself.

"Don't worry, no one saw me, " Young Griff said. " How did it go with Harry Stickland, did he say he would fight for me."

" Yes, he and the golden company have pledged their cause to you "Jon said, smiling.

" Good, I shall pay them handsomely when I win the iron throne " Young Griff exclaimed. " What of the iron bank, will they help me with my cause?

" Unfortunately, they says they can't help you " Lord Connington replied.

" How am I going to get back to Westeros now? " Young Griff grumbled.

" We will figure it out, your grace " Jon answered. " It will just take some time.

" I've been waiting 17 years to take back my throne, " Young Griff exclaimed. " I am done waiting anymore, it's time Westeros learns their true king is alive.

" They will in due time " Lord Connington reassured him.

The young dragon nodded knowing he had to wait a bit longer before making his move against the Lannisters until Visemor grew bigger.

" You'll soon sail across the narrow sea and take back your father's throne, " Jon said.

" Uncle, are you positive that I'm the last of my house? " Young Griff asked, wondering if the rumors he had been hearing were true.

" Yes, " Jon replied. " You are the sole survivor of house Targaryen, heir to the iron throne. " Why do you ask."

Young Griff hesitated for a moment before answering. "I've been hearing rumors about other trueborn Targaryens out there. " They say my aunt shaena's stillborn daughter lives and my aunt daenerys as well "Β  he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Jon's expression turned grave. "I have heard those rumors as well, but I cannot confirm or deny their veracity. However, even if they are true, it does not change the fact that you are the heir to the iron throne.

Young Griff nodded slowly, his mind racing with the implications of what Jon had just said. "Thank you for being honest with me, Uncle," he said, his voice heavy with emotion. "I will do everything in my power to reclaim what is rightfully mine."

Jon placed a reassuring hand on Young Griff's shoulder. "I have no doubt that you will, but you must be careful. The road ahead will not be easy, and there are many who will seek to use you for their own ends."

"I understand, Uncle," Young Griff replied, his jaw set in determination. "But I am ready to face whatever challenges come my way. I will not rest until I have taken back what was stolen from me."

Jon nodded, a hint of pride in his eyes. "I have no doubt that you will make House Targaryen proud. But remember, you are not alone. I will be by your side always, and there are others who share your cause."

"Thank you, Uncle," Young Griff said, his voice filled with gratitude. "I am honored to have your support."

Jon smiled warmly. "You have it, always.

Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β Β  Author Note

Young Griff arrives in the story and has a dragon opp. I find his character very interesting in the book so I had to include him.

I decided to keep Jon Connington alive such as in the book he's alive and raises Young Griff so it made sense.

His identity isn't the same as it is in the book, it's different it will be a huge plot twist in the end.

Daenerys not going to be happy about this opp, another dance of dragons may be approaching.

Young Griff's storyline in the book won't be the same in this book, I will change his character up a bit.

Part 3 is at it's near end, going to try to put more updates out.

I hope you like this chapter if you did give a vote down below and let me know what you thought.
