Finally after eight months of rehabilitation and three weeks of nonstop training, tomorrow night is the night I finally make me return back to the WWF.

Immediately after I got the call from the boss, I booked a plane ticket to Long Island where Raw is going to be. As I'm packing up my suitcase in my room, my cellphone started ringing on my night stand.

I folded my last shirt tossing it into the suitcase, then walked over towards the nightstand picking up my phone answering the number I recognized.

"Hello Morning." I Said, smiling ear to ear.

"Hello Sawyer." David Said

Ah where do I begin, I never would have imagined after meeting this guy almost four months ago, that
I would be dating him. And to be honest, I couldn't be happier.

"I thought you'd be on your flight by now?" David questioned

"No, my flight doesn't leave till 7:00 and it's only.." I glanced over at my alarm clock on my end table, "4:20 so I've got about two hours left before I head out, and my sweet baby sister is driving me to the airport." I Said

"Wish that were me dropping you off instead of Ryland." David Said

"Yeah, yeah I know. But you've got a busy schedule ahead of you this month, back to back shows." I Said

"And then I'm off the last two weeks in April, maybe you could come out to L.A and hang with me?" David suggested

"Yeah If get a day off this month," I sighed

"What's wrong?" David Asked, concerned.

"No it's just, I've been off Tv since last summer and it's a new year." I Said, as I sat down on my bed.

"And your afraid that everyone has forgotten about you?" David replied, as I nodded my head.

"Yeah." I huffed, "What if they did?"

"Sonya, how could they forget about you. I mean you were a focal player in that faction, DX. Listen babe, you're going to great." David encouraged

"You think so?" I Asked

"Of course you will, because you've been doing this since you were 18 years years old. Besides, I think the fans missed you." David Said

"You David we gotta head out man." Someone in the background muttered

"All right man, hey babe I gotta go but call me whenever you land in Long Island okay." David Said

"I will." I Said, smiling.

"Okay, see ya." David Said, as he hung up the phone.

"See ya." I Said, as I put my cellphone back on the night stand, "Okay, back to packing."

Once I was done packing up all of my clothes and new gear that I had made for me, I called Ryland over so she could drop me off at the airport.
After about a twenty minutes drive we finally arrived, Ryland parked her car outside the airport.

"And here we are." Ryland Said

"Mhm." I Said

"You're going to be okay you know that." Ryland Said

"Yeah," I replied, "It's just I hope..I hope that my return makes an impact you know. I want to be in something interesting like a good storyline for the women, anything that will give us time on Tv." I hoped

"I think they'll find something for you to do, I mean you did just sign a five year contract not to long ago.
So, they better have something good for you, who knows you might be women's champ soon." Ryland, sang as I rolled my eyes laughing.

"Yeah keyword soon, but I don't think Sable's dropping that title anytime soon..but when she does, I better be the person she's dropping it too." I Said

"Ooh I love that attitude," She looked down at her watch, "It's 6:15, flight leaves in a couple minutes." Ryland Said

"Okay, I get it's time." I Said, as I opened the passenger door getting out the car, so I could get
my luggage.

Ryland got out the car to help me get the stuff out the backseat, "You sure that's everything?" She Asked

I nodded my head, "Yup all of this will last me up until I come home, which will be in two weeks."

"Okay, have fun and be safe out there." Ryland Said, as she pulled me in for a hug.

"I will." I replied, as I hugged her back tightly then pulled away, "Love you."

"Love you too." Ryland replied, waving goodbye to me as I walked into the airport.

Tonight's raw is shooting live from the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island. Arriving at the arena earlier this afternoon was so thrilling, it feels so good to be back after not being on Tv for eight months, and why not in front of a good crowd.

After dropping my stuff off in the women's locker room, I left to go around to see everyone. And I ran into a few faces such as of course Paul, Joan, Amy, Matt and Jeff who gave me the biggest hugs, as they couldn't be happier that I'm back, said hello to Mark, Steve, Brian, Billy and Sean.

No time has passed since we've last spoken, talking to these guys is so easy. After catching up with them, I stepped away and walked out towards the ringside area, and watched the crew and production team set up for the show. As I'm sitting on the edge of the barricade, I hear the sounds of footsteps approaching behind me.

"Sonya, Sonya hey there." Mick greeted me, I turned around returning a smile.

"Hey Mick." I replied, as I hugged him.

Now when it comes to Mick, he's such a sweetheart and I absolutely adore him. He and I have a great friendship, he even sent me a get well gift and handwritten letter while I was still in the hospital.

"It's so good to see you again." Mick Said

"Likewise." I Said

"So how's that arm of yours, still feel stiff or-" Mick questioned

"Nope everything's fine in this department," I gestured to my shoulder, "But honestly all I want is to get into some action tonight." I Said, as Mick chuckled.

"Oh yeah, I heard you were training back in Austin." Mick Said, as I nodded.

"Mhm I was training with my old trainer, you know go over some things and I even came up with a new move." I Said

"Oh yeah, is it a submission or a finisher?" Mick Asked, intrigued.

"It's a submission, so let's just say my opponents on the ground and there backs to me. So wrap their legs with my leg tightly, and I lean down backwards in a bridge type of position, and wrap my arms around her head in a chin lock.." I explained

"Ah so they can't get out either way, they would have to tap out." Mick Said

"Mhm, it's pretty cool I think..hope I get to use it." I Said

"I hope it get to see it, I bet it even looks better on Tv than explaining it." Mick Said

"Yeah." I replied

One of the producers of the show, yells over for Mick to come over. He nods to them, then looks to me.

"Hey I gotta.." Mick Said

"No. no go ahead, I'll catch up with you later." I Said

"Okay, later Sonya." Mick Said, as he walked off.

"Later Mick." I said, as I went back to watching the crew set up.

A couple hours later the show started and we were live, tonight's main story is with the corporation and Steve Austin. 25 minutes into the show, the women's segment was up.

Earlier in the day I met up with the writing team to discuss tonight's plans, which involved me getting involved with the storyline which is taking place between Ivory, Terri and Jacqueline.

Vince pitched an idea of me returning, but this time as a baby face. Now I haven't been a baby face since I was my backstage interviewer days back in 97, before I turned heel and joined up with DX.

But since Paul and Joan are with the corporation, and most of DX is broken up, it seems like a great opportunity to showcase myself and have the spotlight on me.

As I was waiting in gorilla, making sure my outfit and hair looked good. Ivory aka Lisa's music hit the PA system, as she made her way through the curtain.
Jacqueline, Terri and I looked up at the Tv monitor and watched as the segment started. One of the ringside crew handed Ivory a microphone, as she quickly got into character.

"Ever since I've been here with the WWF, we'll I've been wondering one thing. I got a question for Jacqueline and that little miss Terri Runnels, hey PMS is it always that time of the month for you girls or what?!" Ivory Said

The crowd popped at that quick little remark.

"Because your really starting to crap my style!, now Jacqueline your bad and tough," She Admitted, "You got what it takes to back up your trash talk, but little miss Terri Runnels.." She shook her head, and laughed "Now she's just a little priss, a little priss with a big mouth and a snotty little attitude." She Remarked

"You tried to burn my face with a cigar," The camera zoomed in on the burn mark on her jawline, "I'm begging you to come down here, come on down here. Let's be face to face, fire up a fat one so let's see who will get burned little miss Terri, come on out here!" Ivory Said

On cue Terri and Jacqueline's music hit the PA system, they made their way out and some of the crowd booed, most of them whistled at them.

Both women looked at each other and laughed as they made their way to the ring, Jacqueline got into the ring first before she could turn Ivory took off her shoe and threw it at her hitting her in the face.

She grabbed Jacqueline and planted a DDT on her taking her out, Ivory then slid out the room smoothly and chased Terri around the ring and threw her into the ring steps.

Ivory finally got her hands on the women that's been giving her hell, she laid down some punches getting some good shots on her for a moment until she gets kicked in the back by Jacqueline.

Jacqueline gets Ivory back into the ring, and starts beating down on her. Terri gets back to her feet, and reaches inside her pants and pulls out a cigar and lights it up. Jacqueline holds Ivory's arms so she couldn't move, Terri got back into ring and was ready to burn Ivory's again until my music hit the PA system.

Here I go, after months of intense physical therapy and training all those long hours. I'm finally back doing the thing that makes me happy. When I walked out the curtain, I didn't know what to expect when it comes to the WWF fans. Did they forget about me? or do they even care?, well I guess my question was answered.

As I stood on that ramp, I was met with a decent amount of cheers from the audience. I couldn't help but smirk at this, Jacqueline and Terri looked confused and shocked as I made my way down the ramp.

I walked through those ropes and looked at the two women standing across from me, Jacqueline got in my face looking me up and down, yelling in my face.
Jacqueline gave me a good shove pushing me back, I chuckled at that then kicked her in the gut, and gave her a nasty looking DDT.

The crowd popped at that, I got back onto my feet swiftly then looked over at Terri who looked terrified. I ran after her but she quickly got out the ring, dragging Jacqueline out with her.

"No No No, get your ass back in this ring," I leaned on the ring ropes, "Come on Terri, let's go!"

"Sonya, Sonya, Sonya, Sonya!"

I looked to the crowd acknowledging them as they chanted for me, Jacqueline and Terri made their way back up the ramp yelling at me. I turned around and looked down to Ivory, and lended out my hand which she took as I helped her to her feet. The both of us, looked up at the two women and shook our heads.

When the show went to commercial break, me and Lisa made our way back towards Gorilla where I spoke to Vince as he complimented us on the segment saying we did a great job, I hugged Lisa as she complimented me, then made my way towards catering where Amy is.

"Hey, you looked really great out there." Amy complimented

"Thanks Ames." I Said

"How ya feel, everything good?" Amy Asked

"Yes I'm sure everything's fine, I mean I have been taking bumps lately." I reminded, as Amy put her arms up.

"Just being a concerned best friend that's all, but I'm glad your back on the road. A lot of people missed you." Amy Said

"I could tell I was greeted by so much of the locker room, but to them it was like I was hardly gone." I Said, as we sat down at the table.

"Yeah I mean your back, and already into a program.
While I'm stuck being a manager." Amy Said

"Don't worry Ames, you'll get a shot." I reassured

"I doubt it, but anyways so how's things going in the dating department?" Amy Asked, smirking.

"Things are going..pretty great." I admitted

"So you think David's you know, it for you?" Amy questioned

"I don't know it's to early to tell, it's only been three weeks we've been dating. But it's been really fun, he's sweet, funny, handsome as hell..and I really like him." I Said, as I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Aww look at you, your blushing..you totally like him." Amy teased

"Shut up." I Said, laughing.

"Okay, okay. I mean if you're happy, then I'm happy for you." Amy Said

"Thank you." I Said, as Amy nodded her head.

Since being back at the company, the storyline I'm involved with has taken off very well. The next Monday after I retuned, Ivory and I was busy getting interviewed and immediately was jumped by Terri Runnels and Jacqueline.

Instead of Ivory getting burned by the cigar I did instead, which left a mark on my cheek. During that same week Vince approached the four of us, with the idea of us having a tag team match at the next PPV Backlash.

And I liked idea sense it's giving us an opportunity to be showcased, after going over the plans for the upcoming match at the PPV on the 25th, I finally got my days off this month and instead of going home I decided to head over to L.A where David lives.

Once my flight landed in Los Angeles, I made my way out the gate and retrieved my luggage and made my way down the escalator.

The airport was packed, but even through the crowd I noticed David, holding up a sign which said "Sonya Sawyer". David waved at me as I speed walked over to him, giving him the biggest hug which he returned.

"There's my girl." He kisses my temple, "How was your flight over here?" David Asked, as he caressed my face.

"Well, there was the hour long drive to the airport.
And a four hour flight from Grand Rapids to L.A, so yeah I would say..okay." I Said

"Here let me." He took the luggage from me, and wheeled it as we walked towards the exit.

"Oh thank you." I Said, stretching my arms.

"No problem." David Said

David and I exited the airport, he led me to his car which was parked out front. He opened the backseat and placed my luggage in the backseat, I opened the passenger door and got in as he got in on the drivers side.

"To my home we go." David Said, as he started the car and drove off.

We're about ten minutes out on the road, I looked out my window and observed the L.A scene. The beaches, the people, it's different from Texas but I always imagined living out here.

"Hey, you down to do something tonight?" David Asked

"Like what?" I questioned, looking over at him.

"Well I was thinking we'd go out for dinner, I was planning on cooking us dinner tonight." David Said

"Really, aw that's so sweet." I Said

"Yeah I know, but my oven is broken right now and I have to wait until tomorrow till it gets fixed. So..what do you say, you and me head downtown and grab a bite to eat at the most romantic restaurant?" David suggested

"Well Mr.Morning, " I leaned over towards him, and placed a soft kiss on his lips, "I'd say it's a date."

"Alright." David Said, as he gave me another kiss causing me to smile

"Oh I was wondering are you busy a week from Sunday?" I asked, as I leaned back into my seat.

"Uh no, why?" David questioned

"Well you see there's this PPV coming up at my job, and I was wondering if you'd like to come?" I Asked

"You want me to attend a wrestling event?" I nodded at him, he nodded his head, "Sonya of course."

"Really?" I Said

"Yeah, I've been waiting for weeks for you to ask me to come to one of your shows. Yeah, what guy wouldn't want to see their girl kicking ass." David Said, chuckling.

"Yay you're coming, I'm telling you it's going to be fun you won't be disappointed." I Said

"I wouldn't miss it for the world." David Said, he picked up my hand and kissed the back of it.

"Thank you." I Said

After spending two days with David, I headed back home to check on things and do some quick errands around the place, such as pay my rent, wash my clothes and throw out some expired food and lastly check in on my family.

Then it came time to going back out onto the road, I got on my flight to Providence Rhode Island where Backlash is taking place Sunday night. Once I landed, I drove my rental car over to the hotel
where all the talent is currently staying at so
I could recharge and get ready for tonight.

So about seven hours later the PPV had started, and we're about three matches in already. I'm currently back stage in the locker room, applying some makeup on to finish off my look. The gear I'm currently wearing I had made for me a few weeks ago, thanks to the wwf seamstresses.

I met up with Lisa, Jacqueline and Terri so we could go over some things that will happen in the match that's about to happen in a few minutes. Soon as our conversation came to end, we were told to head to gorilla.

As the tag match came to and end, Jacqueline and Terri's music hit the PA system and they made their way out the curtain. As they did their entrance, I did some quick stretches which made Lisa want to as well.

I gave Lisa a quick hug as her music hit and went out first, as Ivory went out I took this time to take a few deep breaths and calmed down my already hectic nerves. Then my music hit and I walked through those curtains, and went straight into character.

Ivory and I made our way down the ramp, high fiving all the adults and children. As I made my entrance, I noticed out of the corner of my eye, there David was wearing a shirt with my face on it.

As Ivory and I entered the ring, I took off my black leather jacket tossing it to the ringside crew. I took this opportunity to blow David a kiss over, which he blew one back.

The referee ordered for the bell to rung and once it did, the match began. Lisa and Jacqueline started the match with a simple collar and elbow tie up, which Jaqueline soon took control over and gained the advantage over her.

After two minutes of getting over powered by Jacqueline, Ivory tagged me in and this sparked the crowd to cheer even louder now that I've entered the match.

I circled around Jacqueline then we went into a lock up, which I quickly got out off and got her into a chin lock. She pushed me off and got free of my chin lock, she went to go hit me with a clothesline but I ducked and bounced off the ropes and came back at her, hitting Jacqueline with a viscous clothesline knocking her down.

I immediately went for the pin resulting in her kicking out at 2, Jacqueline ran quickly over to Terri who she tagged in. Terri shook her head no at the Referee, she tried getting out the ring but I grabbed Terri by the hair.

"No No I don't think so." I Said

Terri broke free of the grip and she looked up and slapped my face so hard, my vision got blurry for sec but I glared at her angrily and speared her down getting on top laying nothing but forearms on her.

I got off Terri and dragged her by the hair over to where Ivory is, and tagged in Ivory letting her get some revenge on the women that's been giving her hell for the number of weeks.

Ivory gave Terri I nice chop to the chest in the corner, she slid under Terri grabbing her by the legs causing her to go face first into the mat. As the Reff checked on Terri meanwhile outside on the ring, Jacqueline clotheslined Ivory, grabbing her by the hair and slammed her repeatedly into the barricade, tossing her in the ring.

I hopped off the ring running towards the other side of the ring, then hopped on the top turn buckle and as Jaqueline turned around I leaped off the top rope landing onto Jacqueline, causing the crowd to cheer even louder.

As Ivory got back to her feet from the attack of Jacqueline, Terri kicked her in the gut and went for a face plant DDT. She immediately went for the pin, but Ivory kicked out at 2, Terri screamed out in frustration.

She picked Ivory up by her hair but Ivory broke free from her hold, and slapped Terri across the face very hard. I jumped back onto the ring apron lending out my hand for a tag, which resulted her tagging me back in.

I went behind Terri and tugged on her tightly, then lifted her in the air giving her a German suplex. I tuned her body around, and locked Terri's feet together, and leaned my back into bridge and taking my arms and putting Terri's face into a tight chin lock.

"Tap! Tap! Tap!" I screamed out, as Terri screamed in pain.

Jacqueline tried to get back into the ring but Ivory gave her drop kick, knocking her through the ropes and out the ring. Terri couldn't take the hold anymore so she tapped out quickly, as the bell rung.

I let go of the hold and rolled onto my back, taking a breath for a moment. Ivory helped me to my feet, as the referee raised our hands in victory.

"And the winners of this match, Ivory and Sonya Saywer!"

Ivory and I hugged then I looked over at the first row, where David was cheering and applauding me with the biggest smile on his face. We both rolled out the ring and I walked up the ramp, taking in all the cheers from the fans.

"Man, it feels good to be back." I muttered
