It's The New year and so far it's been treating me great, traveling around has been crazy yet exciting. Over the past few weeks my friendships with Amy, Matt and Jeff has gotten closer, their more than just my Co-workers I actually consider them as friends, I was afraid I wasn't gonna make that many friends here since I didn't have that many friends back at home.

Meanwhile at work I enjoy doing what I'm doing but there's always that one thing that gets on my nerves at times and his name is Shawn Michaels. I haven't spoken to him since the first week of the new year when he constantly kept flirting with me, now this weekend is the Royal Rumble and it's the first big PPV of the year and all the men are focused because they all want that big shot at Wrestlemania.

This years Royal Rumble takes place in San Antonio, Texas which I'm happy about because we're back home in my home state. Since I'm not busy this week I don't have to show up to work into Sunday so I figured why not stop in on my family and see what they are up to.

I pull up in front of my parents house, I get out the car and walk up the stairs. I ring the doorbell a couple of times and of course no one hears it so I banged on the door until someone opened the door and luckily someone did.

"What?!" Jack Says

"Well Hello to you too." I Said

"Oh Shit Sonya." He Hugs Me." Baby I didn't know you were coming to see us." Jack Says

"Hey Dad, I wanted to surprise you guys and spend time with y'all." I Said

"Oh well come on in." Jack Said

He opened the door wider for me and I picked up my bags, I entered the house and see my brothers sitting on the couch watching a football game.

"Hey Dumb & Dumber." I Smiled

Dylan and Cade turned around and jumped up immediately to hug me, Ma and Ryland came from the backyard into the kitchen.

"Hey I didn't know you were coming." Ryland Said Hugging me

"Surprise." I Said

"So how long you staying here with us?" Laurie Asks

"Until Tomorrow, The Royal Rumble is gonna be in San Antonio which is a great thing because it's not that far a drive." I Said

"Yeah, Boys take your sisters stuff upstairs would you." Laurie Says

"Yes Ma." Dylan & Cade Says

Dylan and Cade grabs my bags and takes them upstairs, I follow Dad, Ma and Ryland into the kitchen. I open the refrigerator and grabbed a water bottle.

"So What's up with you, how's the job?" Laurie Asks

I nod then takes a sip of my water, I place the bottle on the counter nearby and run my fingers through my hair.

"Works been....Great." I Said

"Really it's just been great, Sweetie you said that the last time we saw you." Jack Says

"Yeah and that was Christmas Dad, it's the same old same old." I Said Patting his chest

"Speaking of since it's the new year what are your New Years resolutions?" Ryland Asks

"I have one." Cade Says Entering the kitchen

"What?" We Say

"My New Years resolution is to quit smoking." Cade Said

"Really?" Dylan Says

"Wow." Laurie & Jack Says

"That's good bro." Ryland Says

"So wait-your really gonna quit smoking?" Dylan Asks

"Yes Cade I'm serious, look I'm with Wendy and she's always worried about my health...lately I have to so I've decided on New Years that was the last time I've smoked a cigarette." Cade Says

"So you haven't smoked in 19 days." Cade Nods. "Wow I'm impressed." I Smile

"Me too don't get me wrong it's been hard but I'm getting through with it, I mean I've been smoking since we were 17." Cade Says

"What?!" Laurie Says

"Uh—Ma what he meant to say was 21 obviously." Dylan Says

Ma walks over to the both of them and smacks their heads, Ryland and I chuckle a bit while Dad shakes his head.

"Ow!" Dylan & Cade Said

"Well at least someone is quitting unlike you two." Laurie Says

"Ma I'll quit smoking whenever I want to that's just that." Dylan Says

"Yeah and it's not like I smoke every day, I do it whenever...maybe like once in a blue moon I'll open a pack and smoke but I'm not a heavy smoker." I Said

"I Hope not.., I always told you kids to not smoke you see what the crap does to you." Laurie Says

"Yes Ma We Know." We Say

"Okay just a reminder that's all." Laurie Says

"So what's everyone else's New Years resolution?" Jack Asks

"Get a car, I've been saving up for almost two years now." Ryland Says

"Um for me I want to pay of some of my debts." Dylan Says

"I'll cheer to that." Jack Says

"Me too." Laurie Says

"Okay what about you Sonya?" Cade Asks

To Be honest I'm not the type of person to make resolutions because to he honest I never go through with them, usually I forget about them by the second week of January.

"Uhh...I don't have one actually." I Said

"Really why?" Laurie Asks

"I don't know I just haven't thought of a really good one I guess." I Said Shrugging my shoulders

"It's Okay Sis don't sweat it, hey you wanna hang out later?" Ryland Says

"Uh Sure but I'm gonna need a nap first." I Said

"Cool." Ryland Says

"Alright I want everyone out my kitchen so I can get dinner prepared." Laurie Says

"That's our cue lets go before she starts throwing knives." Jack Says

Ma threw a dish towel at dad as we all leave the kitchen laughing, Throughout the day I slept. When I woke up from my nap and got dressed quickly to hang out with my sister and some of her friends.

"What do you think I should wear tonight?" I Asked

"Hmm you should go with this dress." Ryland Said

Ryland goes through the closet, she rummages through some of the clothes and she picks up a red floral dress.

"Hey This is my dress." I Said

"I know I just kept it after you left it but I know you looked great in it so here you go." Ryland Says

"You can't give me something back that was already mine." I Said

"Whatever but put this on your gonna look hot tonight." Ryland Says

I shake my head a bit then get dressed, I put on my red dress paired with my favorite brown cowboy boots. Decided not to go crazy on the makeup tonight probably because I'm gonna be sweating all night from dancing, so I just decided to do a natural makeup look with a bold red lip.

I pick up Ryland's friends, Sarah, Mindy and Annie and we make our way to newest club in town. "The Penthouse" we walk inside and the place is packed and music blasting, there's people dancing everywhere, grinding on each other or battling it out on the ground.

"This place is so cool, Sonya your gonna love it." Ryland Said

"So far it passes the vibe check." I Smile

"So should start off with some drinks?" Mindy Asks

"Duh Tequila Shots ladies." Annie Says

Ryland takes my hand and we make our way to the bar, Annie orders 5 tequila shots. The bartender quickly pours the liquor into the glasses.

"Thank you cutie here you go." Annie Says Tipping the bartender

"Alright Ladies tonight is the night we dance our asses off—" Mindy Says

"And getting blackout drunk." Sarah Says

"Oh Wait I can't get to drunk girls." I Said

"What why not?" Annie Asks

"Because I got work tomorrow, remember tomorrow's the Royal Rumble don't want to show up to work with a hang over." I Said

"It's Okay just take two or three shots you have a high tolerance anyways." Ryland Says

"Alright enough talking lets fucking party bitches." I Said

"Whooo!" They Said

We all clink our shot glasses and down our tequila shots, after a few more shots I was finally in a more happy mood. The girls and I make our way to the dance floor where we start dancing like maniacs, the girls and I find random dudes and started dancing with them.

Paul and I are in my rental car thankful my driver is driving us tonight because I'm way to tired to drive and I'm a little high.

"Hey Driver you wanna stop right here." I Said

"Wait Wait Shawn why are we stopping?" Paul Asked

"I'd figured we should hang out for a few before calling it a night." I Said

"Shawn you got a big match tomorrow—"

"We're not going to be out all night, let's just grab a few beers we've been on the road for two hours now." I Said

"Shawn." Paul Said

"Dude just for a couple of hours okay, come on Paul." I Said

I opened the side door and got out the car, Paul did the same. I walked to the driver side and thanked him, Paul and I looked up at the sign that reads "The Penthouse". We walk inside the bar and I'm hit with the smell of sweat and liquor.

"Alright a few beers then were out of here okay." Paul Says

"Yeah Yeah I know I know." I Said

Paul and I walk through a crowd just to get over to the bar, There's a really hot blonde female bartender behind the counter.

"What can I get for you two?" She Says

"Um Two beers please." Paul Said

She nods then opens a freezer to grab two beers, I pay her and hand Paul a beer.

"Cheers my man." I Said

"Cheers." Paul Said

Paul and I clink our beers together and take swigs of beer, As I'm drinking my beer I look at the dance floor and see's the beautiful girl's dancing but one catches my eye, She looks familiar too familiar.

The girls stop dancing with those guys they were with and make their way over to the bar, They walk to the other side of the bar and I down my beer.

"Dude doesn't she look familiar?" I Ask

"Who?" Paul Said

"That Chick over there with the dark hair." I Said

"Shawn there's a lot of girls here with dark hair." Paul Says

"Dude Look." I Said

I grab Paul's chin and made him look in the same direction I'm looking.

"Oh Shit that's Sonya." Paul Said

"I Knew it was her." I Said

"So what are you gonna go talk to her?" Paul Asked

"Hell yeah I am, I'll be back." I Said

"Shawn be careful don't get punched in the face alright." Paul Says

I nod and wave then walk away from Paul, as I'm walking near them I hear girls laughing. I see her stand up and as she turns around she bumps right into me.

"I'm Sorry Sir." Sonya Said

"Nah it's okay doll, didn't your parents tell you to always look where your going." I Said

She looks up to me and we finally make eye contact, I smirked as I always do and she rolled her eyes at me which I thought was cute.

"Michaels." Sonya Said

"The One and only." I Said

"What are you doing here?" Sonya Asked

"Well Paul and I decided to stop and have a few drinks before heading out so...is this a good place to hang out?" I Said

"Don't know it's my first time being here actually." Sonya Said

"Ahh we're a couple of first timers, something you and I can experience." I Said

"No you can experience this by yourself I'm hanging out with my friends and my sister." Sonya Said

"Oh you have a sister I didn't know that." I Said

"There's a lot you don't know about me Micheals." Sonya Said

"I'd love to know more if you'd let me." I Said

She looks over at her friends dancing, they wave back to her and laugh as she rubs her forehead while taking her shot.

"Are you ignoring me?" I Asked

"Trying to." Sonya Said

"You shouldn't ignore me Sonya." I Said

"And why not?" Sonya Asked

"Because I'm someone you need to get to know." I Said

"And why should I?" Sonya Asked

"Because when you get to know me more better eventually you'll love me." I Smiled

"So let me get this straight your saying if I get to know you I'll love you." Sonya Said

"Yes." I Said

"Wow you must really love yourself huh Micheals." Sonya Said

"Just hiding through my pain doll." I Smiled

"Whatever." Sonya Said

Four girls approach us, there's one with curly brunette hair, ginger hair, blonde hair and not so blonde ish hair there all beautiful in my opinion.

"Sonya you gotta come back and dance with us, the other dudes friend wants another dance." Ryland Said

"No offense but that guy can't dance he looked a little stiff out there." I Said

"What and you can dance better." Annie Said

"Yes I can." I Said

"Who is this guy Sonya ?" Mindy Asks

"Girls I'd like you all to meet Shawn Micheals." Sonya Said

"Hey." I Said

"Wait Shawn Micheals! Holy Shit I wasn't expecting you to be here." She Lends her hand out. "It's nice to meet you I'm a fan of your work." Ryland Said

"Wow you are beautiful by the way, what's your name?"

"I'm Ryland, Sonya's younger sister." She Smiled

"Wow you and your sister looks just alike." I Said

"People have always said that since we were kids." Ryland Said

"And you three lovely ladies are?" I Asked

"These are my friends Annie, Sarah and Mindy." Sonya Said

The girls wave at me simultaneously and kiss all three of their hands as Sonya rolls her eyes again, I feel a hand on my shoulder, As I look up it's Paul.

"Hey There you are." Paul Said

"Paul come meet some new friends I just made, This is Annie, Sarah, Mindy and Ryland she's Sonya's little sister." I Said

"Hello Ladies and Hey Sonya." Paul Said

"Hey Paul how you doing?" Sonya Asked

"I'm good, looking out for this dumbass." Paul Said

"Your doing a bad job he's harassing us over here." Sonya Said

"No we actually don't mind Shawn being over here." Mindy Said

"Yeah he can stay and you can as well." Sarah Said

"Actually as much as we would love to stay Shawn and I actually have to get going." Paul Said

"Why?" Annie Asked

"Tomorrow's a big PPV it's called the Royal Rumble and I'm fighting for the championship title." I Said

"And we have a long drive to our hotel in San Antonio so..." Paul Said

"No it's totally cool we understand you guys got a big day tomorrow and my sister does as well." Ryland Said

"Exactly So it was nice meeting you ladies hopefully we'll meet again, Later Sonya come on Shawn." Paul Said

"Bye." They Said

"Nice Meeting you ladies, Goodnight Sonya." I Said

"Bye Shawn." Sonya Said

I winked at her then followed Paul out the bar, My driver was still in the car as we got back in the vehicle.

"Where to gentlemen?" He Asked

"To San Antonio no stops only if for gas." Paul Said

"Got it." He Said

Paul looked over at me as I was staring off into the distance, he nudged my arm getting my attention.

"What?" I Said

"What are you thinking about?" Paul Asked

"Oh nothing much just Sonya...it was nice seeing her tonight that's all." I Said

"Hmm." Paul Said

I leaned back into my seat and looked out the window as we drove to our hotel, I started feeling a little sleepy so I drifted off and fell asleep.
