The sky was shining bright, as the townspeople of Wall Rose are doing what they normally do. The inner walls were kept to protect the people from the outside world, titans were matching around ready to swallow them a whole. As of now, a special corps were planning on keeping two holders safe from the military. It wasn't to be expected to get them to kidnap and rescue, but as of now, there is more to it.

*Panting, panting*

*Feet were moving on the ground and a figure was breathing heavily*

"Someone! Anyone!? Please!" A squeaky figure called out for help looking back to see someone chasing after them.

While they were running, dim light to the other side of the streets was their only exit. Just as they were about to escape they bumped into someone knocking them down on their bottom.

A whimper was left out of them as they met teal grey eyes meeting into golden ones. The figure was a soldier standing before them and beside him was a female who looked similar to him. The poor thing trembles and sat on the ground as can be eyesight was a bit blurry to see them so close.

"Captain?" The raven hair woman called out.

"Don't forget our mission, Ackerman." He said in a strict tone.

"What about them?" She asked.

The male soldier glanced back at the little figure as he crouches at their level.

"Forgive me, I didn't see you there." He said in a calm tone.

In like slow motion, he reached his hand to pet the girl's forehead but she leaned back letting out a yelp.

The male looked at her confused and noticed the bandages wrapped around her arms and legs. Her movements were taken notice as she had a terrifying expression on her face.

"Y/N, you shouldn't have run off like that." A figure behind her as the male soldier glanced at the tall male.

He was about to question him, but the girl jumped in his arms trembling. He sensed something wasn't right at all.

"Excuse me, is she yours?" He asked eying the man.

"Yeah, she's uh...my niece. I was playing a game with her and she ran into you." The man said lying beneath his tongue.

"Is that so?" He asked, not believing the whole thing.

"Yep, now I need to take her home. Thank you." He said reaching for her but the little girl grips onto the male's shirt shaking.

"P-Please don't go." She whimpers.

The soldier holding her glimpse at her and the man claimed to be her uncle. It was a lie but, he knew he couldn't do anything after they had a plan to rescue people in someone's place.

"...here." He said handing the child back as the girl gripped his hand before it slipped away.

The soldier knew he made a mistake, but something about that girl just made him feel so strange.

"We have to move!" Ackerman alerted.

"...Right." He said watching the girl not afar taken back with a stranger.

The rescue plan was successful, but there was a change of plans when a lopsided of the captains paid a visit.

But a chase scene is playing through as it would seem to be hunters hunting down prey. Gunshots were heard, a cry of a woman seeing corpses falling from the sky. A last, as the hunters escape with two people they needed the measure important to them and so, was a little girl pleading in fear.

[Earlier]

It was a bright morning, Levi had just received a letter from the commander telling them they needed to leave. It was the only way to keep Eren and Historia safe from the Military Police.

They returned to Wall Rose, only to resume with their idea of tricking the men that wanted Eren and Historia to dress them up in a disguise.

Meanwhile, Levi and Mikasa were preparing themselves to rescue Armin and Jean dressed in disguises that were part of the plan. While Levi was explaining something to Mikasa while they were walking passing by the houses, a little figure appears bumping into Levi and they fell to the ground.

"What about them?" She asked.

I watched the man drag the girl back with him and I knew something was off about that guy for taking that girl away. Why did I let her go like that? I shook it off and focused on the mission that was part of the plan, and we manage to take out the gang to save Armin and Jean just in time. Our main objective was hiding and keeping a low profile from letting the military find any of us to keep Eren and Historia.

I sat on the rooftops having this strange feeling, not the girl, but it felt like someone is...

My eyes widened, and I looked at the scout with me shouting, "LOOK OUT!"

I was too late when I saw her head being blown off as she rolled off the rooftop as I hid behind the chimney hearing the footsteps marching up and the sound of a gun clicking.

"Oi, Levi, it's been a while? I haven't seen you in such a long time." I heard a familiar voice as and I knew who it was and it had been a while since I've last seen him in years.

He used his special gear to zip up in the air holding out two guns pointing at me, "DON'T LOOK LIKE YOU'VE CHANGED MUCH A ALL, BOY!"

I pulled out my blade yelling, "KENNY!" as I threw it towards him and he blocked it with the elbow pads he wore. He shot two gunshots at me but only missed as I used my cape to cover it. I was panicking a little, but I put on a brave face to run off the rooftop, sliding down to use my ODM gear to get away.

I thought it was only simple to get away from them, but I was being chased by his other minions. They wore the same gear as him and had their gunshots aiming for me as I dodged them while flying around through the city, they predicted every damn move I made. But I didn't know that Kenny and his squad were here to take Eren and Historia. What was he playing?

I barely made it out, but I reached a bar to land on the bar table and hid behind the counter hearing Kenny entering in cackling in amusement.

"It's the most damn thing. I seemed to be smelling a rat in this establishment." He said jadedly.

"Get out here you little Vermont! I came here to exterminate the Vermont I could find! BANG! BANG!" He says maliciously as I 'Tch'.

"Oh, Come on! You here or not?" He asked and I knew I had to answer him.

"Right here, Kenny." I sneered. "It's been a while, I thought you'd be dead by now. Well, with all the MPS you were butch in. They're now your great friends, huh?"

He 'tch' reply, "Yeah, adults do plenty of things that you kids can't understand. Oh, right, my mistake. Yours supposed to be an adult now, but you're still a runt now, heh."

I didn't care about anything that Kenny was rambling on about me after I've changed without venturing back into the underground. My life has already changed to create this story and now, I'm back again as a rookie being hunted by prey.

"I always hoped that I might get to see you in action someday. I can't say I'm disappointed either, you just remember every trick I taught you." He said obsequiously as I remained in my hidden place only to hear him move around a little.

"But did I ever tell you, what happens to a cornered rat? Cause if I had you know, wherever you run there's a bullet waiting." He was solemn and I knew what he had a mind too, so I didn't hesitate but I had a little gift for him in my hand.

Kenny moved around a little and he was holding something, but I didn't bother to take a peek. I used the glass on the shelves to see him from here so it was a perfect somewhat view for me.

"Hey, Levi?" I heard him throw a chair over at me causing the drinks to shatter as I watched and listened to what he has to say.

"You must've become a scout for a reason, and I think I know what that is. We were forced to survive in that little hell hole, giving everything we had just to stay alive. So, when we found out how big the world really was, you can bet it. It hurt like hell." He explained vindictively and I didn't say anything to listen to what he flatly has to say about me for joining the scouts.

"But you know what saved us? We've found something we enjoy doing, it's just that simple."

Is that so, Kenny?

"Every man needs a hobby. Maybe the only source of a villain, however, you'll never find in this trenchant world." He snarled.

It was my turn to speak up, "Oh, I see. Is that why you blow off my people's heads then? Cause it's fulfilling?"

"Yep. To achieve my goal, I will kill as many that get in my way." He says in amuse knowing it was his kind of pleasure to see those suffering beneath his feet. "And your no different, you killed too if it would've benefited you."

"Yeah." I folded my arm back to pull the trigger of the shotgun to shot Kenny as he used the chair to block it and fall back outside. "Thanks for the help, old man."

I handed the shotgun back to the old bar owner and jumped out the window, one of Kenny's squad members pulled the trigger to shoot at me but I had a diversion to use a chair only to trick him. He didn't expect to see me when I used my hooks to stab him in the throat to pull him towards me. Two men were right in front of me, as I used the dead body to shield the bullets aiming at me and threw it to the side so I can kill them too. Another one was chasing after me as I used the hook to attach to his body and slice his throat to end him quickly.

My squad came to investigate what was happening, and I told them to kill those bastards that were capturing Eren and Historia. I took out most of the men, but when I saw the wagon I could see Eren and Historia were both unconscious so they must've tranquilized them. I looked over to see Jean, Armin, and Mikasa heading straight for the wagon, I order them to kill Kenny's squad before it was too late. I headed straight down to help them until I saw the same man from earlier was shielding something as I was about to aim for him. But I stopped when I saw the little girl he found chasing after was...Y/N. She looked at me in hesitation making me stop as I lost focus and we weren't able to rescue Eren and Historia from Kenny.

Kenny, what are you up to? Why are you taking Eren and Historia?

And that girl...what does she have to do with it?
