Gemini looked around the Council Building in wonder. It may not be the most fancy building that she had seen, but the ancient structure radiated power so it was hard for anyone not to be in awe of it. Everything was made from polished dark wood, gold and glass, with every detail meticulously carved out.

Currently, Aries was showing her around the building compound. "You know Virgo and Capricorn," he said, entering the wooden double doors of the library.

The library was three stories high with a large floor-to-ceiling window dominating one side, allowing natural light to fill the place. The rest of its walls and hundreds of aisles were lined with books of all genres and topics. Comfortable chairs and tables were strategically placed around the library on all three levels. It was every bookworm's heaven.

Meanwhile, Capricorn and Virgo were seated at one of the tables near the entrance. Stacks of books and papers surrounded them as they discussed one of the papers. "After all, Virgo's your sister and Capricorn's your brother-in-law," Aries added.

Gemini rolled her eyes before approaching them. As if she didn't know that. "What are you guys working on?"

Virgo looked up and smiled at her. "We're just helping Scorpio and Pisces with the wedding preparations since we're 'the most qualified and experienced' as Scorpio put it."

"As if," Capricorn scoffed, scanning through a document.

"Oh hush," Virgo giggled, lightly pushing her husband. "As if you don't enjoy this. It kind of reminds me of our wedding," she said dreamily. Their wedding had been simple, but majestic nonetheless. They were both conservative people and preferred to keep things to just their friends and family, but that didn't stop everyone from giving them a wonderful day.

Capricorn couldn't stop the small smile from forming on his face, though he desperately tried to hide it by pretending to be preoccupied with the planning. "Sometimes I wish we could get married all over again," he said quietly so that only Virgo could hear.

She smiled and leaned her head against his shoulder as she picked up another document. This is the second wedding between two gods and everyone wanted to have a grand wedding since they didn't get one the first time round. And frankly, Scorpio and Pisces didn't mind so why not?

"Ahem," Aries coughed, bringing the couple's attention back to the two other gods standing before them. They had completely forgotten about Aries and Gemini. "We'll just leave and, uh, leave you two alone."

With that, he awkwardly dragged Gemini off. "What do you want to see next?"

Gemini thought about it for a while. She could explore the rest of the Council Building herself, but she wouldn't be able to see the wedding preparations going on in the gardens any other time so she replied, "The gardens. I want to see the wedding preparations."

Aries sighed but led her out to the gardens nonetheless.

"This is the gardens. And that's Scorpio and Pisces over there," he said, pointing to the scorpion and the mermaid by the gazebo where Gemini had her coronation just the night before.

Pisces waved as they neared. "Hey, congratulations about last night. I was hoping you could come to our wedding," she said warmly. Then she cocked her head. "You are coming, right?"

"Of course, I would," Gemini reassured her. "I wouldn't miss it for the world!"

Meanwhile, Scorpio just eyed Gemini coldly, assessing if she was a threat or not. Noticing this, Pisces elbowed him, causing him to look down at her. "What did we say about being nice?" she asked him, raising an eyebrow.

Scorpio sighed. "Only for you," he murmured, kissing her forehead before looking up at Gemini and forcing a smile. "You hurt her and I'll kill you." Pisces elbowed him again and he quickly added, "Congratulations for completing the trials though. I also really hope you can come to our wedding and you can bring a..." he looked distastefully at Aries "...date if you want but I would really appreciate it if you dump this piece of trash into the dustbin."

Pisces smiled at Scorpio before she turned back to the wedding plans in her hands. Aries looked at Scorpio and then at Pisces. "You're not doing anything about that?" he asked Pisces.

She just shrugged and looked up lovingly at Scorpio. "It's an improvement and I think the first part was actually really sweet."

Aries looked at her in disbelief. "He threatened to kill Gemini and called me a piece of trash!"

Pisces shrugged. "He's called you worse and truthfully speaking, sometimes I do feel like throwing you in the dustbin," she confessed.

Scorpio smirked at Aries and pulled Pisces into a passionate kiss.

Aries turned away, uncomfortable. "Right, flex on me, Scorpio. So what if I haven't had any successful relationship yet?" he muttered angrily before dragging Gemini away. Again.

In the distance, he heard the faint laughter of Scorpio echoing through the gardens. "Idiotic menace," he grumbled under his breath. At this point, he didn't know what he was calling Scorpio and he didn't care as long as his anger towards the god was known.

He stormed back into the Council Building, Gemini desperately trying to keep up with him. Damn his long legs, Gemini thought as she quickened her footsteps. She was considered tall for her age and was evenly proportioned, unlike a certain short torso, long-legged ram.

"Aries!" she called out, stopping him before he could slam the door of his room in her face. And yes, the gods lived in the Council Buildings.

"What," he asked sourly.

Gemini sighed and let herself in before she gently shut the door behind her. She then sat down on his bed and patted her lap. Aries reluctantly lay down, resting his head on her lap and allowed himself to relax as Gemini gently ran her fingers through his hair.

Aries grabbed her other hand and held it to his lips and in that moment, he was content. They were both gods with their own responsibilities but in that moment, they were just Aries and Gemini.
