Montana Blue Lawrence, the beautiful daughter of Johnny Lawrence and Stella Walker, not only entered the world with a gentle spirit and a radiant smile, but she captivated the presence of those around her.

Just 30 minutes outside of Austin, is the quiet and peaceful ranch of the Lawrences and the Walkers, both of which Montana spent the majority of her childhood, and wouldn't have had it any other way, as she learned the trade of ranching as well as the trade of rodeo.

While her father Johnny and older brother Robby opened a karate dojo in town, the beautiful blonde showed no interest in the sport. Instead, much like her mother, and the Walkers, she was drawn to the life of the rodeo, and her horses.

After her grandfather, Nathan Walker retired from the Texas Rangers department, August took on the role as a Texas Ranger Captain, while his and Samantha's son Maverick was a Texas Ranger.

A lover of all things orange vanilla, and the colors pink and turquoise, she was as kind, and as gentle as you could be, and had always been a fan of Marie Osmond, George Jones, George Strait, and even Madonna.

While her closet may have been full of her grandmother Ava's dresses, Montana was a flower child all the way down to her toes. Most comfortable barefoot, she was often found skirting the shoes required laws by looping leather string around her toes and across the tops of her feet, and then tying the ends around her ankle, except when she had to work, and that was often a killer for her, as she wanted to go barefoot.

Following in her mother and maternal grandmother Ava's footsteps, Montana became a nurse, and worked at the clinic with her mother, as well as on the ranch with her uncles and aunt, but her dreams and ambitions in life were to become a sports physician, especially after seeing her dear friends injured in the rodeo, and couldn't do anything to help. Most nights, after she would return home, she would spend hours crying because she couldn't do anything to help.

The world of the rodeo introduced Montana and her best friends Makayl and Nicki Brown, to their wonderful best friend: Laynie Anderson (a fellow barrel racer who is a waitress at the local Merchantile in Austin). Through thick and thin, there's nothing like strong friendships to help navigate the turbulent social waters of the rodeo and life.

When Jack Lockhart arrives in Austin to settle his deceased uncle's affairs, Montana must decide if it's possible to be in love and follow your dreams.

Montana's medical expertise is tested when she nurses the very wealthy Boston socialite, Mrs. Stafford Smith back to health

When Montana and Jack begin to fall in love, she finds herself torn between her ambitions and following her heart.
