The dazzling rays picking through the thin blinds glowingly bounced back inside the broad, long corridor, fondling the antiques that were postioned at the opposite side of the window, however she didn't have spare seconds to remain nor to marvel at the maginficent palace that laid on top of soft lush lawns. She scurried faster hoping the man won't catch up with her. Her heart hammering in her ribcage as she felt herself weaver in fear.

The bellows of the fuming man could be heard, as Andro tried to create distance between them with every step she took. Pained grunts will now and then echo on the empty hall as he tried to catch up with the brisking girl that had dared raised her leg to kick a king's general. He cursed as he vowed to himself that he would punish  her once he gets a hold of her bony arms.He has been ordered by the king to guard the forbidden hall since their most trusted guardian was terribly sick.

After she kicked him where the sun doesn't shine, Andro escaped from the mad looking man. Using the advantage of being small and shrill, she had managed to top up the man's strong legs with her skinny ones.

Once, she made sure she was no longer in danger, she took a pause to catch her shallow breath, clinging to her knees for support. She wasn't tired by any means, but fear somehow had drained the power out.

so much for being brave hearted she sinckered at her ponders.

Hurridely, she walked back to her little room. Luckily she hadn't lost her way her room nor to the forbidden room. Even as she was escaping, her thoughts continusly drifted back to the room. Curiousity once again left her utterly unstatisfied.

When she got to her room, the opened window made her realize something she had forgotten. She forgot about her training and she could tell by the way, the moon glowed that she was tardy again.
Letting a frustrated sigh, she got dressed in to her armour.

Passing by the parellel room, she stepped out in to the dark.Bright lantern caught her eyes. From afar it looked like it was floating. Titling her head down, she fidgeted on the material of her dark cloak as she tottered to her disappointed aunt who chose silence.

They ambled their way in to the dark woods, listening to the wrenching swishs of the towering trees. The moonlight was barely seen.Red glowing eyes sailed on the sea of darkness. Frowing her brows she focused on the glowing eyes. She wanted to ask what that is but she knew that her aunt was probably too mad to reply.

It suddenly flew when it heard movement.

It is just a bat. She sighed in relief.

She greeted her instructors warmly which the frosty vulture kindly smiled back while the red fox gruffed in distate.

" This time you will train with me."

Farah drew a big circle with her shining sword. She stepped in to the pit she drew. Andro grapped her sword out. She was about to enter to the drawn circle when a wind pushed her body out, making her land on her butt. Rubbing her aching body, she slowly lifted her legs in to the circle only to fall again. She could hear someone chuckling and she knew with no doubt that it was that red fox.

Andro took out her sword. She thought it would be heavy, it was lighter than a feather.Raising her legs, she tried to put her feet inside the circle her aunt drew but an invisible force knocked her down. She landed on her butt hard. Cussing, she stood up only to fall again.

"Why can I get in?"

To enter the match

you have to latch

the treasure in your arm

for the abiding realm

is not quite easy to step in

The blade is your guard

Your most precious clad

Amor without a sword

Is doomed to fail with a strike of
another's chord

so grap tight to the steel

There is no mercy in the battle

She confusedly stared at her glaring aunt. She must still be mad. She never understood why they talked in a poetic way, making her slove a word puzzle before every training.

Close your outer orbs

And open your inner ones

And draw the sign you see

Amidst the darkest sea

You will see what you demand

If only you seek the light

And memorize the epistle

Andro found herself lift up from the ground as if the gravity that kept her on the ground couldn't anymore. She felt a tight grip on her legs, steadying her on the air, keeping her from flying away. Hovering above, she saw a mark that looked ancient. It looked like the signs she saw on the walls of the palace, but she had a gut feeling that it was different, only resembling it a bit.

As if a hand was there, it drew the complicated gleam green light, bending the curves when needed, locking into what it wanted to construct. Although her hazel were sealed, her jaw had dropped, parting her lips. Intrigued at the green spark of light that moved on it's own accord, she tried to memorize the mark.

A few minutes or so, it was done. The sudden force that helped her float disappeared and she found herself descending to the ground. Opening her eyes, she gave her eyes a moment to adapt to the darkness of the sky and the blazing orange light of the combusting fire.

Anxiously she took her sword out, clasping it tight on the end. She felt the sweat in her hands. She had never sweated before. How is this possible?  Suprisingly, the sword was lighter to hold than it looked but it felt slippery on her hands. Flaunting the steel from left to right, she gripped it tight, making her kunckles whiten. She slowly drew the sign, hoping the sword won't slip from her hands or one of the curves of the mark would come out wrong. The powerful magic that whirled like a tornado vanshied. She lifted her legs and settled it in. When she saw that nothing was knocking her down, she added the other.

Farah tried to mask her amazment, but Andro saw the corner of her mouth twitch. Without any hesitation, she swirled the steel in her hands elegantly. They moved in circles, like two lions trying to tackle eachother. The fire cast shadows on their faces but Andro could still see the dark cold smirk on Farah's flawless face.

Fear was speard throughout her skinny body, from the top of her head to the tip of her toes. Farah looked like she had no mercy by the way she handled her weapon. She finally lunged at her and Andro fell on the mud, startled with her aunt's swift movement.

"Get up." Farah demanded angry.

Andro clumsyily rose from the muddy ground and tried to keep her balance. Growling at her lack of skill, Farah snatched Andro's sword and threw it on the floor, making a screeching sound.

" I told you this before a brave heart is the one which will win the battle but you just cowered! If you are scared of me, how are you going to fight a monster." Rage radiate out of her body."You are not ready for a real combat."

Her eyes gleamed with tear and she bit her lip. She thought she would be good just like last time. Sighing, she dusted of the smeared dirt from her armour.

" I knew she would be a disappointment." Raven bellowed, darting her eyes accusingly.

" Stop babbling!" Farah said outraged.

"She is not worth it. She couldn't even fight you." She glared at Andro and went back to Farah." Let's just send her back."

" I said stop didn't I?" Farah spoke in a dangerous tone.

Raven closed her babbling mouth, tighening her lips and her face twisted her face in to cold icberg.

" Then, I don't want to be a part of this."

" Raven wait....." called out Reem but with her snap of her slim fingers she vanish into the dark whirling woodland.

Slience fell upon them as the tension grew stronger. Raven was gone. Reem had a worried look but Farah was unreadable, stone faced as ever. Andro's mind couldn't understand what she had done wrong. Was it so bad that she backed away a little? But then Farah had said that 'there was no mercy in the battle.'

" I know she can do this." Reem finally said, challenging her superior. Farah bored her eyes and they seemed like they were talking by their eyes or a mind link. Farah finally nodded.

" You are dismissed for tonight. Reem will take you back."She hesitated for a moment." We will continue this next time." She her gaze back to the the forsty vulture and said." I will go after her." And then she was gone, following Raven in to the dark woods.

Grumply, Andromeda picked her sword up from the ground and tucked it back.

" I will walk you back to the palace." Reem suggested, giving her a smile.

" No, It is alright. I can manage."

" I couldn't possibly let your highness go alone." She gazed up at the sky." It is still dark."

" Yes but I know the way back. Don't bother."

Andro knew why she was resisting she wanted to prove her aunt wrong, to prove that she was brave. But was she brave? She knew that she wasn't.

" Are you certain?" Reem asked worried and Andro gave her a reassuring smile.

" If you say so."She smiled. " But don't over do it. She still believes in you."

With that final word, she had faded in to the misty night. That final statement had cut through her. Did she believe in her? She snorted at the thought.

If she had she wouldn't have said that.

The sky was slowly getting lighter but she could lift her mood with it. Neglectful to the magical whirling woodland, she sauntered to her room. It was by far the worst day of her life. It even beats the time back at her home. When the bullies had pushed her in to a pond and she had to walk back to her home with wet clothes, or even the time she had dozed off at the library because she wanted to finish a book and her mother had drilled her for a week.

Surpassing a scream that urged to leave her lips, she passed through the wide opened wall of the parallel room. Her gaze never left the bare stony ground as she abruptly started taking off her gears and her armour but for the second time today she had been frozen on her spot, stopping whatever she was doing as she heard the faint voice call out her name.

" Andromeda?"

Stopping whatever she was doing, she looked up and spotted her confused friend sitting on her edge of the bed. She was at loss of words as to how she was going to explain all of this.

" The wall..... you?"Mesert pointed to the wall that was magically sealing, gwaking at her friend as if she was some kind of monster.
