Hoseok pov ( continuation)
Voice left my body as LeHyun fell, dead. Myrah lowered herself back to the bed. She didn't look like a timid cat. Her breath was that of a tiger. Sinister and unrushed. Her hands bled. A bitter growl left her mouth as I embraced her.
"It's alright," I shushed her and spoke gently. For a Lady, I can only comprehend how devastating it must be for her. I know it might be more traumatizing than I think.
That's when Royal Highness King Jimin barged inside the room. His eyes held disarray and concern as I moved away from Myrah. Myrah fell unconscious, letting her tired body slouch under the King's embrace. I was ensured that the King would take care of her.
The soldiers entered behind him and tidied up the clutter as Jimin carried Myrah to his room when Yoongi halted me in my trails to interview me.
Yoongi, my old pal. Our friendship is dense and everlasting. Yoongi clutched me tightly and asked, "How are you Hobi yah?"
"Not Bad, Yoong," I remarked frankly, for my friend is a strategic, canny Investigator. King Jimin's personal and confidential operative. I too knew it. Though my affinity with the Monarch is thin as a line, my reverence for him is massive.
"I see that you have got yourself a confidante among the Royals," he commented.
"Yes. Queen Myrah is such a sweet soul and more than revered to be her friend. What occurred to her is inequity. How did all this escalate Yoong?" I asked furiously.
"Well, that's why I am here. Give an account of me the incident," he asked, as I briefed him on the details.
"When Myrah shoved the knife into his throat. The amount of pressure is no marvel inhumane. With hands that are delicate as a petal, Myrah's anger is plausible. The wrath she had is justified, but her eyes held something else. It held the wildness. She was like a hunter. I never believed she could kill someone! In the right mind or not," Hobi dejected.
"Wildness..." Yoongi muttered under his breath and left before shortly announcing that the Treasury in charge, and the Chief Minister in charge of food and transport, Kim Yoongsab were annihilated yesterday night.
There flew a gossip that Lehyun massacred Yoongsab, established on the existing feud between the both. He can kill him, but why approach the Queen? Why do the worst? What is the tie between them both? Anyways, I am in no place to bother about their rapport. I wonder how Myrah is doing now.
* Next Day
Jimin Pov
Perplexity is an understatement for what I was feeling right now. Darting at Myrah, my heart shrunk in remorse for not being there for her when she ought for me the most. Why? And what ensued, I wanted to ask, but my throat ran dry glimpsing at her slumber in a truce near me. She has gone through a lot. I should meet Yoongi today, I thought and pulled the blanket upon her.
It was pretty early in the morning. The sizzling rays of sun hit the floor heeded by the coo of cuckoos. My dear shifted from her place and fluttered her eyes open.
"Jimin...." her voice called lightly.
"Jimin... hand," She notified again, reminding me of my arm around her shoulder. I gradually removed it and she got up. She walked towards the door as I asked, "How are you?"
She glanced at me and said, "Fine."
I didn't ask her much since she must be reluctant to talk about it with me. Is she really fine? Honey. You are thick and blurry like honey and I am unable to see through you adequately, yet why so sweet?
Myrah Pov:
I was weary, yes, but my mind was unstable. I am oblivious to whatever happened last night after I fell senseless. I dragged my feet to my room, finding it vacant. Groaning, I turned around to be hugged, shattering my whole heart.
Exaggeration due to waking up early at dawn, I whined louder as I clasped onto Rima's back and closed my eyes on her delt.
I should have been in bed with Jimin instead of coming here. Why did I come in the first place? Yes... I should admire my actions even when I am half numb. My cheeks flushed and became warm and I just didn't want to show him.
"Myraaaah," Rima shrieked in my ear as I felt my hearing wither away. I dropped my head back as she caught me and wriggled me. I swear I felt a rattling sound within me, and I am hungry.
"What happened, are you good?" she asked, yelling at me concernedly.
"What about me? I'm entirely FINE," I screamed back, reducing my voice, I spoke, "Don't worry, Rima."
"Do you remember the session I had with Lehyun?" Rima was about to interject when I continued.
"Well... I met him to ask him to slay Yoongsab," I let out my scheme casually and strolled away from her, noticing a housekeeper, I ordered, "Bring me some warm tea."
"Are you for real!?" she cried as I sighed, "Do you want me to be caught, shut up already." I added, "Please, it's just an early daybreak."
"Precisely, and that's why you shouldn't flood me with this announcement. I don't want to perish in the early morning!" she mumbled softly enough for me to hear as my maid gave me the cup, I walked along the empty aisle.
"How did Lehyun abide and how did you exterminate him and what happened yesterday night?" Rima whispered in my ears.
"Shh... Let me speak," I hushed her and sipped my tea. Oh, my tea. My lovely tea.
"The security was extra tight than usual since yesterday, as people from other countries came to our kingdom. Lehyun huddled the soldiers in the central hall, retiring his men at my mansion. And as you know, Yoongsab and Lehyun are mortal adversaries, but it wasn't sufficient for him to slaughter Yoongsab."
"So? What did you propose?" Rima asked me.
